this is going to be very sad.
ReplyDeleteAh Barry you are going to break the last piece of my heart that Arrow didn't manage to crush this season, aren't you? It's cool, who needs a heart anyway :(
ReplyDeleteOh Barry T_T
ReplyDeleteIt seems at the first look that Future Barry couldn't save his mom. He looks shocked. I might be wrong also, may he is dealing with the fact that he is seeing her again after such a long time...
Dad knows more than he's told Barry . . . . .
ReplyDeleteFlashpoint here we come
ReplyDelete"Who are you"
ReplyDelete"It's Barry"
heart - broken - kinda relieved at the same time that he actually gets to meet her. Something positive I guess?
I thought he was supposed to stop her from dying & not witness her dying ? Unless he speeds her to a hospital & she lives either way ?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see Barry and Nora talk. Been waiting for this since the beginning. Yeah Barry tell her who you are, that'll slow down the death. smh For a genius that's kinda stupid, she doesn't die of her stab wounds, she'll die of a heart attack. = /
ReplyDeleteIf she lives then many more people will die. Barry have a lot of people hope and if he never becomes the flash then it will all be gone.
ReplyDeleteDammit Barry really bad idea.
ReplyDeleteWhich means hell isn't far away.
ReplyDeleteThe likely scenario is that Barry doesn't get to save his mom but he just gets to see her. OR he does.. and the whole of SEASON 2 is up in the air.
ReplyDeleteIf he does either he'll cause Flashpoint (which was more the result of his abuse of the Speed Force in the comics) or something else and bad will happen.
ReplyDeleteBarry is dumb enough to let it happen though. For a Super Scientist, they havnt exactly portrayed him with the Smarts this year.
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't know that and it's his mom. Plus from his perspective saving his mom and stopping Thawne will repair the damage Thawne's caused.
ReplyDeleteWoW. Seems epic. Can't wait to see what they have planned for the episode.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap!! Mind blown!! From a freaking extended promo.
ReplyDeleteThat extended promo ! What the hell did you do ?
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!
ReplyDeleteWow. Oh Barry! You are going to make me cry. BTW who is going to be erased from existence?
ReplyDeleteOh shit, its about to happen. Now maybe after couple of time changes things will spiral out of control that will lead to Legends of Tomorrow Premise?
ReplyDeleteOH SHIT this finale looks insane!! What did you do Barry?! And I'm already tearing up at Barry and Nora talking :'(
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean?
ReplyDeleteBarry, you see him shaking
ReplyDeleteFlashpoint Paradox welcome to the Flarrowverse
ReplyDeleteOh. I thought he was vibrating. Makes sense.
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me Flashpoint paradox damn it!!!!!!11
ReplyDeleteWho is being erased???? Don't be Ronnie. Don't be Ronnie. DO NOT BE RONNIE!!
ReplyDeleteOur Scarlet Speedster is going to mess everything up, isn't he? smh
My heart aches for you Barry :(
What is the Flashpoint, can you explain?
ReplyDeleteif i'm already crying from 15 second and 30 second promos, the entire 40-something minutes is going to kill me.........
ReplyDeleteBasically when Barry went back to save his mom he pulled all of the Speed Force into him, and that combined with saving her led to a hellish world filled with death and war where Barry had no powers. Basically the apocalypse. All done as part of a plan by Thawne to torment Barry.
ReplyDeleteWHAT. WHO THE HELL IS BEING ERASES?!?!
ReplyDeleteMy pet theory is that dad was a version of Flash and got tired of battling RF. He just stopped playing. RF got mad and decided to kill his son (Barry) to destroy his "normal life", ended up killing Nora. Dad put in prison and doesn't seem to mind- tells Barry to forget the man in yellow and largely seems content in prison. Dad's attitude doesn't make sense. Probably wrong, but it seems unrealistic that he would not care about a future guy being responsible for Nora's death unless he helped cause it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I still has this theory that season 2 will be set in flashpoint somehow, or what comes after I guess, because this is the plot of flashpoint, right? So this timeline we've seen actually is an alternative one? Well, however I Think the next season might be set in Another timeline, but I guess that would mean Arrow is Affected too? And does that mean Wells will be Wells?
ReplyDeleteMy timeline of the Allen family murder: The Reverse-Flash battle the Flash in the FUTURE, gets pissed off, goes back in time and tries to kill Young Flash but only gets the mother before Present Flash goes back and forces him to leave.
ReplyDeleteBut I agree that Barry's father must know more because, how can Barry's mother be dying with only future Barry present when, in the flashbacks we had, Barry's father was telling young Barry to run while both parents were surrounded by speedsters battling? Unless he wasn't actually talking to YOUNG Barry, but rather Present-Barry-Gone-Back. And anyway, who was it exactly that got Young barry out of the house? Reverse or just plain Flash?
Barry.
ReplyDeleteYeah this will be his greatest failure. When flashpoint happens Barry will basically go through hell.
ReplyDeleteIt will probably be something like this….
ReplyDeleteSomething the Flash does in the past doesn't save his mother, but disrupts the timeline enough that Prof.Zoom doesn't take over Dr. Wells' body so the Dr. Wells character is a legitimate good guy next season.
He'll be a good guy again by the end of the finale, and actually crippled. And Eddie will be taken over by the Reverse Flash and become him when the accelerator goes off (again). That's the big twist at the end of the next episode. Then, Eddie will secretly be the reverse Flash all next season until the finale.
The overall reality doesn't need to change much at all. Barry's Mother still
dies and it still gets blamed on his Father. Prof Zoom still causes the
particle accelerator to go boom in the pilot episode without being in the Wells body, after (say) sending Wells the schematics, Flash still gets ‘created’, etc, etc.
It's dead easy and can be explained in half an episode with only Barry knowing the difference. Then it's back to episodes as usual next season. Or it could be a season long side plot finding out what happened and searching for Professor Zoom. That's only one simple possibility.
WOW, that would be... interesting but I don't think writers would do this Flashpoint thing. Thanks for explaining
ReplyDeleteIt's cool. I wanted Arrow to end on a happy note so I would be able to get through the Flash finale. And boy did it end on the happiest note ever.
ReplyDeleteIf Barry did save her, and Flashpoint didn't happen everything would change. Cool.
ReplyDeleteUnless your name is Ray...
ReplyDeleteHe's fine either saved by Rip or is all shrunk down.
ReplyDeleteHe's going to be fine.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to miss submitting Arrow and Flash scoops :(
ReplyDeleteNext year Koky, next year.
ReplyDeleteGreen Arrow scoops baby :D
ReplyDeleteYou know that's right.
ReplyDeleteBarry saying goodbye to Iris and Joe is going to break my heart. They know each other better than anyone.
ReplyDeleteBarry and Iris grew up together, and Joe was there for him. It was the one beautiful thing to come out of tragedy.
This finale will require tissues!
Gonna be even worse if Barry's actions erase that experience.
ReplyDeleteWhen Eobard told him he lives to be 86 I remembered the superhero retirement house and him being a retired badass lol
ReplyDeleteThat cannot be good for you.
ReplyDeleteAs long as he's good on an alternate universe far far away I'm cool lol
ReplyDeleteHe'll be in this one probably.
ReplyDeleteDarn. Oh well he'll be on his own show so it's still a win win. You know I've been thinking, do you think some of the suit's powers transferred to him in the explosion? Like the x-ray vision?
ReplyDeleteI am more and more convinced a loose version of flashpoint is coming to DC CW Universe
ReplyDelete1:This is how they will get oliver back to starling city as arrow
2:There will differences to the flash with barry slowly realzing things are wrong just like cisco in dreams remembered revese flash killing him
3:Explains things for legends of tomorrow with sara as whit carney, stein without ronnie and explosion at palmer's office
not really, I think they said and time travel shenanigans on Flash would not affect Arrow. also you can have a localized temporal event without it affecting everything else. i.e it just being a Flash issue.
ReplyDeleteand you are forgetting that Rip Hunter, who is in the new series, is a time traveler, thus fixing any issues with Sara and Palmer.
They can also be lying.that happens a lot.
ReplyDeleteI am aware rip hunter is time traveler but i just don't believe using arrow and flash characters will have no effect on eather show and there are plans for crossovers.
More likely sceniro is hunter comes to present affected by what goes on after time travel to deal with threat in present that will get worse in future.
using white carney allowes them to silence fans upset over sara's death on arrow.
1. Oliver is already pretty set up to become Green Arrow. He's happy, can't be the Arrow anymore, and has finally after eight years come to terms with who he is, wants to find himself and he's also a hero. When he returns he'll become Green Arrow because something in this timeline will bring him out of retirement i.e. Hive.
ReplyDelete2. Okay I guess.
3. Al of that except Ronnie will probably be due to Rip Hunter's intervention.
I think it goes down like this. Reverse Flash is interrogated at the beginning of the episode. He tells Barry,"The only reason I couldn't kill you as a kid is because you saved your younger self. While you were distracted doing that, I killed your mom." So in other words, save your mom or save yourself. If he saves his mother, younger him dies, and he is "erased from existence." I think Barry's dad told older him to get younger Barry out of there. We just haven't seen that part yet. This is why older Barry's dad doesn't want Barry messing with things related to his mother's death. He knew long before that Barry was the flash because he recognized him all the way back the night his mother died.
ReplyDeleteNo Barry...gosh.Now the future will be changed as well!...damn!
ReplyDeleteARE YOU KIDDING ME?! that could TOTALLY be possible!!!
ReplyDeleteI think Flashpoint will happen and season 2 will be Barry trying to fix it. He will be in Thawne's shoes and he himself will have to recreate the accident that he knows gave him powers. Just like in the comic books. THen it will be about him working at Star Labs with the real Dr. Wells because Thawne never would have possessed him. It will be about Flash trying to fix everything back to how it was. Because as he sees the future with his mom in it, perhaps Iris is a prostitute LOL. Crazy storyline for everyone. Would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a freaking movie trailer. Hoping for it to be epic but conclude the stories like Arrow does, not leave the questions open for 5months.
ReplyDeleteAmazing theory!
ReplyDelete1 - It won't affect Arrow. There're people who only watch Flash and other who only watch Arrow(for example, my sister). They can't depend on one another because viewers would be lost. The EPs already said that each shows are independant.
ReplyDelete2 - That's not how Flashpoint works and that's not what's gonna happen. Do you know what Flashpoint actually is, right?
3 - Legends of Tomorrow airs on January 2016, with half a season of Arrow and Flash already aired. They could explaine things very different:
a) Sara could have been resurrected by Damien Darhk to be used as a weapon against the heroes.
b) Ronnie wasn't there because he hadn't signed on by then. He confirmed now that he will be back on Season 2 of Flash.
c) Ray didn't die, he just shrink and will be MIA until he finds out how to control his powers.
Oh Eobard you're hate for Barry knows no end, and I love you for it.
ReplyDeleteIf its time travel, and the Flash they'll leave questions. Story wise this is huge. Or would be if they explored Flashpoint.
ReplyDeleteBarry will change the future, so now i wonder two things:
ReplyDeleteWill the Flashpoint Paradox will be resolved in the same episode or it will carry over to Season 2 where we will see Barry MIA on the Prime Timeline(the one we watch) and him trying to go back from the new one in wich everything is f**ked up.
The prime timeline is technically the one where Barry became the Flash in 2020. This is the alternate one.
ReplyDeleteI know, i meant our Prime Timeline(the one from us). They should really put some names on the multiverse. I wonder if these shows are canon as some of the unknown worlds out there: they were a few still not revealed.
ReplyDeleteI believe Geoff Johns said that the movies and tv shows are all part of the multiverse.
ReplyDeleteRobbie Amell just confirmed that he would be returning for Flash Season 2. You have to remember that LoT airs with half a season of Flarrow done.
ReplyDeleteI actually have this great theory that Sara will be used as some kind of Winter Soldier, resurrected by Damien Darhk. It would be a great way to invest Laurel into the HIVE story. By 4x09 she will return to her right mind and will join the spin-off.
Oh! So we are open to seeing some Crisis type storyline on the future? Cool!
ReplyDeleteGuys guys, today is Shannon's bday. Wish her a happy bday when you see her :D :D
ReplyDelete(FYI I haven't seen the promos so don't tell me anything about them)
I know! I hope they will avoid the flashpoint scenary but think they will put their own twist on it. The biggest issue is the continuity with Arrow and how they'll skip those 5 months afterwards, but we'll discuss that when the finale ends for now just many wild guesses.
ReplyDeleteI can see the cliffhanger being: Barry is missing from the timeline we see and he ends up in the new timeline were Cisco as Vibe(helped by the real Harrison Wells) is hunting down Killer Frost.
ReplyDeleteSeason 2 starts with Barry seeing how f**ked up the new timeline is. Joe is a estranger to him, Iris is engaged to Eddie, his parents are divorced, the city is as dark as Starling, Caitlin is a villain, etc. He will return to his actual timeline at the end of episode 2.
Happy Birthday, miss! :D
ReplyDeleteAvoid? No they should embrace it! The hell that is flashpoint would be beautiful to watch.
ReplyDeleteYeah not a fan. That is stuff for movies and so, not for TV series. At least from my pov.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nick!!! Awwww you remembered! = D
ReplyDeleteExcept it would if committed to as a miniseries or crossover be perfect for this universe and TV as a format.
ReplyDeleteAlready done and cake was given. Well technically pictures of cake, but gesture.
ReplyDeleteWell done *fist bump*
ReplyDelete(fist bump).
ReplyDeleteI hope if they do Flashpoint they won't wrap it up in one episode. It has so much potential for a long arc. I wish they did a 2 hr long finale for Flash.
ReplyDeleteThe way Eobard said because I hate you gave me chills. Good Lord Barry what the hell did you do to make this insane man hate you so much? That extended trailer gave me goose bumps.
ReplyDeleteThis is a plausible theory. Well done.
ReplyDeleteHey was it confirmed Ronnie will be back in season 2 of Flash?
ReplyDeleteI like the theory about Sara. It is possible as Ra's said Darhk has access to an LP too. It makes more sense than Malcolm putting her in the pit.
ReplyDeleteWith grand babies.
ReplyDeleteAwww my babies having grand babies and growing old together *touches heart and eyes tearing up a little*
ReplyDeleteWell, Ra's said he took the water from the Pit before leaving, so it would be an interesting story if he used a brainwashed Sara as a lethal weapon.
ReplyDeleteThe last thing Malcolm would want is for Sara to be alive. She would go straight into torturing him xD
What I wouldn't give to see Malcolm being kicked by Sara, Nyssa and Laurel. The only thing that bugs me about season 3 is Malcolm got everything he wanted after orchestrating all this devastation. He is getting away with lot of things.
ReplyDeleteHe lives to be 86. He is definitely getting vigilante ass kicking grand babies.
ReplyDeleteSo Jay Garrick ultimately? and i'm not insane for thinking that?
ReplyDeleteYeah
ReplyDeleteRIGHT?! I mean ever since Zoom talked to him in his coma made me think that this was a personal fight. He said that "nothing is forgiven" that makes it sound like they were friends in the future, maybe even BEST friends.
ReplyDeleteThe other way it could have gone down was that Reverse Flash did indeed lunge at Barry with his vibrating hand of death, but older Barry whisked younger Barry out of the way leaving the attack to land (accidentally) on Nora. Eobard did say that he never intended to kill Nora. Maybe it truly was an accident caused unwittingly by Barry himself. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. If Barry saves his mom, his dad never goes to jail, he's never raised by Joe and probably doesn't have as close a relationship with Iris. If Nora dies but Barry is able to somehow get his father so far away that he never becomes a suspect, then again, he's never raised by Joe, etc. I'm guessing that he realizes at the end that his potential to save lives and avert disasters as the Flash outweighs his need to change the past. In a sad and heavy moment, he has to let and watch his mother die. He gets his goodbye, something that probably happened anyway. Now, does he save his father from jail or possibly let his father go to jail (probably a plan agreed to by his father) before leaving a piece of evidence behind deliberately that will exonerate his father so that he still gets raised by Joe, becomes close to Iris, etc.? In other words, his Dad sacrifices 15 years of his life so that Barry can be happy? Does that make sense? I guess we'll get our answers next week.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about friends but remember that monologue from Eobard last episode beginning
ReplyDeleteI want you to take a moment, and think about all the things that define your life.
All the people you love.
Your job.
Your coworkers.
Your home.
And now imagine if one day, in a flash, all of that vanished.
Would you simply accept your new life and continue on? Or would you do whatever it takes to get back what was taken from you? Because I can assure you.
I will get everything that was taken from me.
This really proves Barry did something which resulted in Eobard loosing everything he loved in the future. What did you do Barry?
Oh yeah now i remember that!, damn Barry what in the world did you do?!
ReplyDeleteMaybe a great grand baby?
ReplyDeleteConnor will be 63 when Oliver dies. So he definitely has a chance for at least one great grand baby. Maybe even for more from more children.
ReplyDeleteGrandpa Oliver. Can you imagine how sweet and adorable he would be? *wipes a tear*
ReplyDeleteHe was a hero. Eobard most likely did it to himself. He grew up a psychopath worshipping a hero and when he found out his destiny after travelling back in time he went insane and started blaming Barry for all his life's failures and became obsessed with killing and becoming him. Oh and he using his powers improved so to speak his ow past- and by that killed anyone who threatened him even his brother. Man's a psychopath who blames everyone else, don't take his word.
ReplyDeleteProbably nothing. Eobard has a tendency to shift blame and use disproportionate retribution.
ReplyDeleteSee I understand what you are saying. But we don't know that much about the show Eobard. I hope they make some changes to show's Eobard. Not just insane psychopath. I hope there is some other layers to the character.
ReplyDeleteHe could be like my great grandpa. Grumpy but definitely the guy who will spoil you.
ReplyDelete
