I won't believe anything that man says until I've searched that truck from top to bottom, including the cone the penguin is holding. (his eyes really do look creepy lol)
Me like 3 times a year. I can't really eat ice cream anymore. That's why i stick to sorbet. It's healthier than ice cream (and yogurt). But i eat that only around this season and like once in winter.
Ohhh, you have not seen Eddie Murphy's stand up. (When he was actually funny). Ohhh, pleaseee let me share this with you, since we're on the topic of Ice Cream.
Ohhh sweetie, he was extremely funny. Eddie Murphy was legendary, before he had a family, that's where he went wrong. LOL. I'm talking young Eddie. You should watch his old movies, and his very popular standup. He didn't start to suck til after the mid-late 90s.
the promo sequences were really dark though, a way to leave some parts unseen wich visual artists often do. I'm hoping for the best, The Flash has been really outstanding VFX wise so far :)
Guess some comedians do restrict themselves after having kids. Luckily Joel McHale and a few others didn't.
Putting them on my watchlist now, I'll catch them ASAP :D (they're comedy specials I guess?)
I've seen the Beverly Hills Cop flicks, Shrek 1-4, Mulan, I Spy, Dramgirls, Norbit, Dr Doolittle, Vampires in Brooklyn and the Nutty Professor movies :)
I'll agree with you on The bday cake ice cream......Personally my favorite is Chocolate Chip cookie dough and Chocolate Mint. Ohhh but I love Cheesecake Ice Cream too.
The strawberry is delicious. I was hooked on that one til I tried the mango. LOL and I also love the lemon. They have a chocolate one but I'm always afraid to try it.
the remake made the series a little too dark for me, I watch these movies for Freddys hilarious scenes (like when he killed that kid in a video game? Brilliant) and not for a gritty, dark child rapist.
To me the Nightmare movies ended coming with Freddy vs Jason (wich was surprisingly good given the cheese they could have created)
I'm not into too many comedians (mostly because I've never seen any perform live) except McHale, Tosh, Ross. Jeselnik and Schumer (of course I'm also a fan of Jerry Seinfeld but his humor is always a bit too...."nice" for my taste. I like the below the belt stuff)
Well, being born mid 90s I probably won't but I'll try :D
Of course, please :D I have a weekend full of editing ahead of myself anyway so I'll need some stuff to watch ^^
Well that's the thing, The remake was actually a reboot. (God that movie sucked so bad. I hate myself for seeing it in theaters). Freddy was always a child molester/murderer, they just didn't put that in Wes' movies, but it was referenced At least twice.
That was Dream Warriors. As a kid iI used to love that one. The first one was the best one. Do you know, that that movie was so terrifying when it was released, that people actually left the theater?? It was a huge thing. Especially the Johnny Depp scene.
Freddy vs Jason iI actually reareally enjoyed, and that's where the Freddy movies ended for me. (And til this day I still think Freddy won).
love Jeselnik and Schumer. Jeselnik came to my city last year around my bday. It was so last minute when i found out, my friends were willing to pay for me but i said f*ck it. Umm, i have a lot of comedians you would like. If you want a couple names? I've got some real funny stand up for you. Til this day i've never seen a live show. Which is just sad on my part seeing as how they play one every night. maybe i'll go this summer, who knows.
I meant American references. (I forgot where you're from, sorry) And damn sometimes i forget how young you are. But hell, i watch a lotttttt of stuff way before my time.
You really missed out, I heard that he was supposed to be on fire doing standup. You should try to get a hold of some episodes of his old show (I think it was called the Jeselnik Offensive), he was off the charts on that one.
Of course :D
I think I'll let the mystery about my heritage continue, where do you think I'm from? (east, north, south, west, some weird eastern european country I can`t even pronounce? :P)
Aww, you're like my Freddy soulmate. Somebody's a Freddy fanboy. = p...I would get into a long discussion with this, but by the middle i got tired. lol sorry. It's not you, it's me. (It really is me). I'm upset. This is MY day (actually the first day of my month) and instead of being in Manhattan right now, watching the greatest movie that'll be released all year, i'm laying here, on my cyber home, talking about Freddy Kruger, Ice Cream, and Eddie Murphy. No offense. = / And it's killing me. (Not the conversation, just to clarify) All the while i'm actually watching The Avengers right now, desperately wishing it was AOU.
I was talking to Spin earlier for about an hour maybe two, before i started talking to Mac, idk where Spin is now. Around here somewhere. But i wouldn't knowww, since i been on this thread for like 5 freaking!! i still haven't finished my hair. I'm just laying here with a towel wrapped around it. Ughh i hate you guys. lol Just damn all of you.
I love Nick Nolte. and Trading Places and Coming to America. you must watch that back to back. Enjoy! Can't wait to see your reaction, hell i wish i were there with you just to see your reaction.
btw, with the stand up. With Eddie's...the point of me introducing it to you is so you can see how different (and actually funny) he was. I mean he's not the BEST comedian. But back then he was. And going thru life never watching these is just a crime. lol
Smallville felt like a comic book brought to life, a lot of color, quirky humor and fantastical enemies. While the Flash dabbles in that it gets highly melancholic at times (Barrys mom, Dr. Wells being a traitor) while Arrow is just pure melancholy (don't get me wrong, I love the show but it takes itself too serious for me. It feels like 90210 with a little Batman added to it)
If I called the shots Oliver would be a lot jokier and wisecracking than he is now on Arrow (his character is really an issue for me).
Yeah i know i did. But eh, he'll come back. I've seen a few of his old stuff. I love Caligula. That's one of my favs. Not to mention all his jokes on the Celebrity Roasts. My fav comedians, and their stand up....
1) Jo Koy: Don't Make Him Angry 2) Gabriel Iglesias: I'm Not Fat I'm Fluffy. and Hot and Fluffy. 3) Dave Chappelle: Killing Them Softly 4) Adam Ferrara: Funny As Hell 5) Kevin Hart: I'm A Grown Little Man 6) Katt Williams: The Pimp Cronicles part 1 7) Deray Davis: Power Play ( this is Hysterical) 8) Bill Cosby: Himself and Bill Cosby: Far From Finished. (Yes i mentioned Bill Cosby, he's a comedic genius)
There's many more, but i'll give you ten stand ups for starters. You'll die.
Hahaha I have no idea. You're English is fine, so there's that. English could be your first language. Idk man, sometimes i think you're from one of my enemy states/cities, cause 70% of the time i want to punch you and curse you out. lol But it's that 30% of love that i don't rip you a new one. = p
and seriously? You change your profile for my benefit to "keep the mystery" Dude i know your face. lol
Caligula was brilliant, one of the bitiest comedy specials I've heard. "If Seth McFarlane does something once, he'll repeat the living sh*t out of it", best line at the Sheen roast ^^
I love Koy, Ferrara and Hart :D I'll have to check out the others, Have to be honest, I've never seen any Bill Cosby related show, I think I've seen him once on the Daily Show but that was it.
Right, I made a mistake when using my face as a profile pic :O Odessa, TX to solve the mystery :P
I liked when he went in on Marlee Matlin. lol "Marlee Matlin...are you even listening to me?" Hahaha I loveeee him.
Oh great you know 3. But does it mean that you've seen those three? Or you just know of those comedians from other work they've done??
Wow....ok aren't you like 20?? Why have you not experienced all these great things?? It's like your 8. lol Jesus!
It's fine. I like your picture (but i hate your beard, you should shave one day). I was actually thinking a few days ago that one day during the summer we should all put our faces up. Just for fun. But then i thought, i kinda like the mystery of not seeing everyone's faces (everyone as in our dysfuctional family that we talk to 24/7) then i was thinking if any of you ever thought of/tried to imagine what i looked like. Then i got creeped out by the thought. Lol Obviously my mind wandered that day.
Texas? Seriously?? lol That was definitely not on my radar of places to think. I mean i didn't have a list, but still, that would've been far down the line. But thank you. Now i gots closure, kind sir. = p
It was the obvious joke everyone was thinking about but no one dared to make....except Jeselnik. Love the man
I've seen Harts "Let me Explain" special, Koy on an episode of Comics Unleashed and Ferrara on "Rescue Me"
8? You're giving me too much credit there ;) (21 actually) I should really catch up on some of the most famous comedians but I usually like to stumble over brilliant specials by accident instead of having too high expectations beforehand.
You're not the only there, I'm being told on a constant basis by friends that I should shave the thing off as it makes me look a little sinister to them (but isn't that part of my personality?). But whenever shaved I feel like a baby and am percieved younger than I am. I think it's a good thing that we don't have to show our faces, that way all our insecurities could creep their way out and trolls would feed on that. The only reason I used my real face as a profile pic was because I originally intended to communicate with friends on a different site, so that stuck. But we all have some body issues (yes, even I do...moreso than others, I'm incredibly vain and if ever so slightly criticized on my body mentally break. I'm on a Jeff Winger level of vain).
Imagine trolls getting to see most faces and being able to feast on real life insecurities? At least the internet gives us some distance from that :P
Too nice of a person for that state? ;) Little town, little chances to let out the inner geek so I like to call myself a closeted geek :P
Ah i see.. Yeah you definitely should watch the ones i suggested. You really will love them. I won't steer you wrong. I don't go around suggesting things like idk what i'm talking about.
I knew you were going to say that about your beard. Every guy always thinks they have a baby face when they shave. I like a clean shave on a guy it's sexy. The scruff look is good too. But if they have too much facial hair i can't deal. Shave it off! And it's spring time heading into summer, just shave it, it'll grow back in three months. Listen to your friends and me. lol but honestly your picture's not a bad one. It's like you're thinking and being sad and pathetic at the same time. lol I've actually gotten used to your profile so if you change it to something else (other than your face) i'd feel weird. Make sense? Well it does to me. lol
i think you're right. I already have a troll now (which you know about, which we will take care of). If i showed my face, i'd never hear the end of it. And not b/c i'm unattractive, b/c i'm very attractive. And i'm not being conceited. I get hit on everyday, many times in a day. I've had guys flirt with me over the phone and they don't even know my face. But they'll ask me out. I even get hit on by women..and i'm straight! And i'm insecure, for many reasons. I've low self esteem and i honestly don't see my beauty. Not at all. I don't see what others see, and compliments make me uncomfortable. And b/c i don't see it, Getting hit on constantly gets tiring for me, if i can't talk to a guy for ten minutes straight w/o him looking at my "girls" then he can keep moving. I love that i can be myself on this site, and it's okay. Personality wise. Well geekiness wise. My friends don't "get me" talking on my sites about media and such, but they accept that it's a part of me so they don't judge me or anything they just leave me be and let me do my thing. I used to go in old chat rooms and have cam chats with these group of people, that was years ago. That was so much fun. There was about 8 of us. Everyday we'd talk and we all got real close. Actually i was 21 at the time. hahaha. How about that?
But you're right about the trolling and insecurites. But i do love that we can all find something we all like in one another based off our personalities, and not by our looks. I do love the mystery.
Closeted geek?? booooo shame on you! You wear your geekiness proudly!!
True, the man really knows how to push the audiences buttons.
I will, guess I'll start with 48 hours tomorrow and go through the list, got some editing work at home so I'm glad I have something new to watch on the side.
Really depends on the guys jawline, I know I've got a good one but it's like someone not being comfortable with little clothes on. However I have to get rid of it soon anyway, clean cut photoshoots are not good for keeping beards alive :( Totally makes sense, lucky for me it'll grow back in 3-4 weeks :P
I heard and am totally on team-anti troll when you need me :D
Gotta be though and I'm not being sarcastic here, you always get these sarcastic "Oh you poor woman are aknowledged by men, what a bad life that has to be" comments but these people often don't see that you want to keep your privacy and aren't really looking to find new contacts at that point. I don't quite get the getting hit on thing because duh, I'm a guy (plus when someone hits on me I don't realize it until I meet them again and they tell me straight to my face that I didn't react to a pickup line).
Totally agreed, this place (and the TVD wiki) is pretty much the only place I dare to let out my inner geek. I don't have people around me that are interested in TV as much as I am. In fact my circle of friends is really the opposite to the classic "geek" stereotype. A batch of jocks, stoners and well....ummm...girls that like to hang loose. So this place kind of alows me to talk about my passion (film), something I can barely talk to my friends (well to some....but only during munchie hour). So I remain in my TV-geek closet :P
I'll be honest here: I have never found so many likeminded people that can discuss hours and yet remain civil to each other like I did on the internet. I know that there're dark places but this place certainly isn't one.
Isn't wearing geekiness with pride kind of all the rage these days? ;)
gtg but we'll talk again in the future ^^ good night and good drinking (happy hour)
Let me know how it goes over the weekend. I probably won't be around much tomorrow (going to see AOU) but i'll be around on Sunday. I really want to know when you get to Trading Places. lol Yeah, i can't wait to get your opinion on all of them.
Ok, for my bday, you have to shave off your beard, and as proof that you did so, you have to put up a new profile picture, with your clean shaved face. = D That's my bday request. But only have the picture up for just my day. You don't have to keep it up forever. I think that's fair.
ugh 3-4...men. (rolls eyes) smh, haha geez! And i'm so glad you're on board. I will need you. (He shows every Tues and Wed after Flash and Arrow).
Exactly. What you said. And most times i just want to be left alone. I'd add more, but i won't. But my guy friends would say i'm the "Girl that's hot b/c she doesn't know she's hot" category. And you're the guy that "doesn't know when a girl is flirting with you" hahahaha you're that guy. oh boy. The last guy i dated was that guy. lol I kid you not. It took awhile for him to realize i was flirting with him. (we dated for three months if you were curious) Omg i'd love to be your wing man. lol that would be awesome.
All of mine are mixed. I do have ONE friend that i can truly geek out with. I have a few others, we can go into debates about movies, tv, Marvel/DC...but none of them, not even my one friend are on the level that i'm at. They're fanboys, but they're not....me. Ya know? Of course you know, we're the same. lol duh. So when i come on here...I'm home. It's a great feeling. (vampirediaries.net is my other home) actually it was TVD that finally got me to make a profile and talk about my shows in the first place. Been here ever since. = ) And yes i agree. I couldn't imagine not coming here everyday. (if i didn't it'd be by choice b/c something) I have to talk about my passion (film/tv). It keeps me sane, and i enjoy talking/arguing with my peoples. Hell i talk to you guys more than i talk to my own damn family. Then again, i'd rather talk to anyone other than my family, so it's a win. lol (I'm like Cisco avoiding the fam)
Exactly..it is all the rage, so come out the closet. (pun intended) = p
Is it strange that I have a Serbian song for this?? "Everyone is here, like in old times! Only U only U aren't beside me." @Koky #ThanksForThinkingAboutMe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNNnbi56WgU
About that erased comment I mention in the other thread. I wrote something like VD has a tough time this year going against veteran show Grey's.
Some random User can't remember his/her name, no clue even why answered: It must be tough be a BAD show! I was like Spin shut up don't let someone provoke U. I usually wouldn't even answer but I hate when someone wants to provoke U without any reason trying to be funny.
I wrote: It must be tough to be a petty person and under a minute my and his/her comment were gone.
I have the same issue with Arrow. Wouldn't even say it's an issue, juts comic book GA was much more relaxed and enjoyable. I thought with that little beard and stuff they were slightly approaching Comic Arrow. Hope they eventually go there. Smallville had so much soul and great writing throughout its 10 season run. The only issue I head was that they were like 15 when the show began, who the freaking hell looks like that with 15. I binge watched all 10 seasons last year and it was sooooooooooo GOOD!
Agreed, I liked Justin Hartleys Oliver a lot more than Amells (not only because Hartley is the more stellar actor but also because the writing for him was better...less snoozey)
It really did, sure there was a lot of shipping wars but look where it ended: right where it needed to in comic canon
I grew up with the show, it premiered when I started elementary school and ended a few years before my graduation
I mean Amell's origin story is way darker and he is much more central than Hartley. I hope for a lighter season 4, with a lot of batteling, great stunts and good storytelling. Ohhhh Ur a baby!!!!! How old are U than 20,21? So young. ^_^ I was so flashed when SL started. Superman Origin story!!! I loved it.
Hahaha. That is a sad song. We got a bunch of uptempo hits which are quite solid. Btw just headed out to watch Age of Ultron. Read somewhere U gone watch it tonight as well.
of course it is but for something that dark the story quickly turned rather ridiculous. Same plus: I want Olicity to be organic next season. If they have to do it, at least make it make sense unlike this out of the blue romance we started with season 3.
This Ra's story turned out quite unappealing, even though I liked the dialogue in 3x21 and found the story to flow a lot better. Olicity was rushed and we were cheated out of a nice story with a lot of potential developing.
Exactly, Ra's plot is really weak (and again Matt Nable isn't helping the case either with his performance)
They were kickstarted in ep1 of season 3 without much build up, while I hate ships I might have accepted it if developed right but now it just has a sour taste for me
I'm so indifferent about Matt and his performance. It isn't strong but neither weak weak. I mean Oliver needs a love interest, being asexual would help the show either. Just the overly push was a bit to much, while in Smallville it really worked probably cause it was an easy slow burn.
That's the thing though, it's a meh performance. Say about Barrowman what you will but if he's forced to deliver he delivers. Manu Bennett also created a huge personality for Slade. Matt is a real letdown if you compare him to prior big bad actors. At this point I'm inclined to call Vertigo a bigger baddie than him because Stormare left a better impression.
My issue is that it only came to be because fans were jumping the train, Olicity didn't come up organically but was rather shoehorned in. He could bang any character as long as the writers weren't influenced too much by the fanbase. my issue is that the quick adding of Olicity totally destroyed Felicity for me, I really want to take her serious again but....I can't
Truth to be told they went for a cheaper solution for Ra's. They should've used a big name a better actor. But maybe the issue is the way they wrote Ra's he wasn't really the firm terrifying hand I expected, but I also assume they didn't aim for that and wanted to do somethibg different.
I think they set up a solid stage for Olicity in S02 but like a lot of things it backfired in S03 as it was fatal atraction out of nowwhere. So I get what U mean and I really agree. I was so pissed when I saw Fel in the promo for next week. What the heck is she dping on the battle field??? Some sort of tech support back up plan would've been a much better position for her.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Hmmm now I'm in the mood for ice-cream!
ReplyDeleteBut unfortunately for you......they're out
ReplyDeleteThat's a bald faced lie!!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha "Yeah it means we're out." Who says that? That's not the "Ice cream man" That's the Ice cream asshole man." LOL
ReplyDeleteI think I found next Wednesday's snack.
ReplyDeleteJust look him in the eye, does he look like he's joking? Muharharhar
ReplyDeleteGuess we finally found out what Freddy Kruger did before becoming a monster :P
ReplyDeleteI had icecream this afternoon. Yum! So let me guess it is GRODD who is putting these images in Barry's head right.
ReplyDeleteI won't believe anything that man says until I've searched that truck from top to bottom, including the cone the penguin is holding. (his eyes really do look creepy lol)
ReplyDeleteYou're killing me! What flavour was it? :D :D
ReplyDeleteIs anyone else creeped right the f*ck out by the ice cream man?
ReplyDeleteOf course. If I saw that man in real life I might stop eating ice-cream forever.
ReplyDeletefacepalm.
ReplyDeleteHey let's not say things we don't mean. Lol, that's impossible. You can never stop eating ice cream.
ReplyDeleteFor you right? lol
ReplyDeleteLike there's a difference at this point lol
ReplyDeletelmaooo well there is. I'm not gonna eat that. I'd probably get sorbet though. I love sorbet.
ReplyDeleteDid you ever see the movie, Ice Cream Man??? That movie would stop making you eat ice cream for a few years if not forever.
ReplyDeleteThere's a movie called ice cream man, i suggest you never watch it if you love ice cream that much.
ReplyDeleteI don't love it that much actually. I eat it like 4 or 5 times during the whole year.
ReplyDeleteNo. But now I kinda wanna watch. Horror?
ReplyDeletehahahahaha maybe not forever but really that man can make me stop eating it for a very long time lol
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure anyone would like to find what's in his truck...all the bodies
ReplyDeletenever watched Nightmare on Elm Street?
ReplyDeleteFrozen yogurt?
ReplyDeleteMe like 3 times a year. I can't really eat ice cream anymore. That's why i stick to sorbet. It's healthier than ice cream (and yogurt). But i eat that only around this season and like once in winter.
ReplyDeleteI scream, you scream, we all scream, ICECREAM
ReplyDeleteAren't they transferring the gold in that truck?
ReplyDeleteYeah it's a horror movie. I watched it when i was a kid. Clint Howard is the main actor.
ReplyDeleteICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI never eat it in winter. Mostly around the months from May to August.
ReplyDeleteThat's where that phrase comes from. Huh.
ReplyDeleteNo, it's not frozen yogurt. It's like a puree of frozen fruit.
ReplyDeleteI was suggesting frozen yogurt.
ReplyDeleteamong other things, I have no idea what the truck is for. It just looks like some creepy serial killer is driving it
ReplyDeleteI know
ReplyDeleteGrodd is probably controlling his mind.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, no. I'd still go for Sorbet. Lol This is my favorite flavor..
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mangomaven.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Haagen-Dazs-Mango-Sorbet.jpg
I was asking. Forgot the question mark.
ReplyDeleteOne of the original sources, yes, but not THE original source.
ReplyDeleteAnd what is THE original source?
ReplyDeleteEddie Murphy, Delirious?
ReplyDeleteIDR. = /
ReplyDeleteNah, not a mango girl. The strawberry is good?
ReplyDeleteI do not get the reference.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, you have not seen Eddie Murphy's stand up. (When he was actually funny). Ohhh, pleaseee let me share this with you, since we're on the topic of Ice Cream.
ReplyDeleteguess the original source goes back quite a few years, no way kids in the 20s weren't coming up with that as well :)
ReplyDeleteAh sure.
ReplyDeletevery likely, especially since it's his big entry episode.
ReplyDeleteI just hope that the animation of Grodd looks good
was he ever funny? (I genuinely don`t know, always took him as a completely unfunny guy...thanks to Pluto Nash)
ReplyDeleteSorry.
ReplyDeleteIt does in the promo, but they are just tiny quick scenes not sure about actual action scenes. I'm optimistic though.
ReplyDeleteIt's ok.
ReplyDeleteOhhh sweetie, he was extremely funny. Eddie Murphy was legendary, before he had a family, that's where he went wrong. LOL. I'm talking young Eddie. You should watch his old movies, and his very popular standup. He didn't start to suck til after the mid-late 90s.
ReplyDeleteOk, give me a minute.
ReplyDeleteGuess family life turns you unfunny I guess :P
ReplyDeleteI'll check out a few of his standups on youtube, guess they have some there :D
Yeah it's pretty old. That's way before our time. My Dad was saying that as a kid. = /
ReplyDeletethe promo sequences were really dark though, a way to leave some parts unseen wich visual artists often do. I'm hoping for the best, The Flash has been really outstanding VFX wise so far :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not even kidding, once he got married and had his first kid that was it for him. He just stopped, totally restricted himself.
ReplyDeleteAnd Noooo stop!!! There's an order!!! First off, go to Netflix, it's on there. Watch "Delirious" first. Then "Raw" after.
Have you watched all his old movies? Or just 90s movies?
Some things are better left unknown, adds mystery to life lol
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't disappointed thus far :)
ReplyDeleteCotton Candy and Birthday cake ice cream FTW!
ReplyDeleteYUM!!
ReplyDeleteGuess some comedians do restrict themselves after having kids. Luckily Joel McHale and a few others didn't.
ReplyDeletePutting them on my watchlist now, I'll catch them ASAP :D (they're comedy specials I guess?)
I've seen the Beverly Hills Cop flicks, Shrek 1-4, Mulan, I Spy, Dramgirls, Norbit, Dr Doolittle, Vampires in Brooklyn and the Nutty Professor movies :)
Ok, here you go. Man speaks the truth!! LOL
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1alXgGXZsxY&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Of course I did. A Nightmare on Elm Street. The remake, sucked ass. I've watched them all, B/c Freddy is the man!
ReplyDeleteI'll agree with you on The bday cake ice cream......Personally my favorite is Chocolate Chip cookie dough and Chocolate Mint. Ohhh but I love Cheesecake Ice Cream too.
ReplyDeletewich is pretty amazing, given the CW usually having meh visuals
ReplyDeleteremember the Green Arrow vs.Kandorians scene from Smallville? That was probably the worst VFX shot we ever got from theCW
The strawberry is delicious. I was hooked on that one til I tried the mango. LOL and I also love the lemon. They have a chocolate one but I'm always afraid to try it.
ReplyDeleteOh god. Smh
ReplyDeletethe remake made the series a little too dark for me, I watch these movies for Freddys hilarious scenes (like when he killed that kid in a video game? Brilliant) and not for a gritty, dark child rapist.
ReplyDeleteTo me the Nightmare movies ended coming with Freddy vs Jason (wich was surprisingly good given the cheese they could have created)
Not many. You'd be surprised how many stick to their schtick even after having a family. It was just a rule for him, he just let himself go. Smh.
ReplyDeleteHis stand ups are hilarious because everything out his mouth is true. Even back then. Hopefully you get all the references. You'll see.
WOW! Dude you've seen nothing. LOL......omg I have so many for you. You ready for this list??
hahahaha
ReplyDeleteWhich episode? The flashforward episode when Clark saw Lois' memories?
ReplyDeleteI'm not into too many comedians (mostly because I've never seen any perform live) except McHale, Tosh, Ross. Jeselnik and Schumer (of course I'm also a fan of Jerry Seinfeld but his humor is always a bit too...."nice" for my taste. I like the below the belt stuff)
ReplyDeleteWell, being born mid 90s I probably won't but I'll try :D
Of course, please :D I have a weekend full of editing ahead of myself anyway so I'll need some stuff to watch ^^
Yeah that one, I think the episode was called Pandora or something.
ReplyDeleteThat shot with Oliver aiming at all these black particles that were supposed to be kandorians. Just terrible FX
Well that's the thing, The remake was actually a reboot. (God that movie sucked so bad. I hate myself for seeing it in theaters). Freddy was always a child molester/murderer, they just didn't put that in Wes' movies, but it was referenced At least twice.
ReplyDeleteThat was Dream Warriors.
An ice cream truck just passed me. Lol Just now.
ReplyDeletehahahahaha ok let's talk about a million dollars lol
ReplyDeleteRight??? Shit that'd help. Lol
ReplyDeletePralines and Cream... Yum. I had icecream after 5 months. It was Yummy.
ReplyDelete*groans* I WANT ONE!
ReplyDeletelove Jeselnik and Schumer.
ReplyDeleteI meant American references. (I forgot where you're from, sorry) And damn sometimes i forget how young you are. But hell, i watch a lotttttt of stuff way before my time.
list coming up in a minute.
Next time buy one for me, deal?
ReplyDeleteYou really missed out, I heard that he was supposed to be on fire doing standup. You should try to get a hold of some episodes of his old show (I think it was called the Jeselnik Offensive), he was off the charts on that one.
ReplyDeleteOf course :D
I think I'll let the mystery about my heritage continue, where do you think I'm from? (east, north, south, west, some weird eastern european country I can`t even pronounce? :P)
hahaha yeah ok.
ReplyDeletethe first two are going to be watched for sure. I mean..Nick Nolte, this has to be good :D
ReplyDeleteThink I'll work my way through these flicks this weekend ^^
Deal! What flavor?
ReplyDeleteFor example: We've been talking to Mac for hours and no one is fighting lol
ReplyDeleteCaramel is my absolute favourite.
ReplyDeleteSpin should be here lol
ReplyDeleteMe too :(
ReplyDeleteNot like Arrow/Flash isn't filling the void to me but IMO both shows leave something to be desired
ReplyDeleteLike what?
ReplyDeleteAww, you're like my Freddy soulmate.
ReplyDeleteI was talking to Spin earlier for about an hour maybe two, before i started talking to Mac, idk where Spin is now. Around here somewhere. But i wouldn't knowww, since i been on this thread for like 5 freaking!! i still haven't finished my hair. I'm just laying here with a towel wrapped around it. Ughh i hate you guys. lol Just damn all of you.
ReplyDeleteWe love you too LOL
ReplyDeleteI love Nick Nolte. and Trading Places and Coming to America. you must watch that back to back. Enjoy! Can't wait to see your reaction, hell i wish i were there with you just to see your reaction.
ReplyDeletebtw, with the stand up.
It feels like 90210 with a little Batman added to it)
ReplyDeleteIf I called the shots Oliver would be a lot jokier and wisecracking than he is now on Arrow (his character is really an issue for me).
Yeah i know i did. But eh, he'll come back. I've seen a few of his old stuff. I love Caligula. That's one of my favs. Not to mention all his jokes on the Celebrity Roasts. My fav comedians, and their stand up....
ReplyDelete1) Jo Koy: Don't Make Him Angry
2) Gabriel Iglesias: I'm Not Fat I'm Fluffy. and Hot and Fluffy.
3) Dave Chappelle: Killing Them Softly
4) Adam Ferrara: Funny As Hell
5) Kevin Hart: I'm A Grown Little Man
6) Katt Williams: The Pimp Cronicles part 1
7) Deray Davis: Power Play ( this is Hysterical)
8) Bill Cosby: Himself and Bill Cosby: Far From Finished.
You change your profile for my benefit to "keep the mystery" Dude i know your face. lol
I HATE ice cream drivers as much as clowns. Equally as creepy.
ReplyDeleteI don't even remember that crap, haha. GA fought Kandorians?
ReplyDeleteCaligula was brilliant, one of the bitiest comedy specials I've heard. "If Seth McFarlane does something once, he'll repeat the living sh*t out of it", best line at the Sheen roast ^^
ReplyDeleteI love Koy, Ferrara and Hart :D
I'll have to check out the others,
Have to be honest, I've never seen any Bill Cosby related show, I think I've seen him once on the Daily Show but that was it.
Right, I made a mistake when using my face as a profile pic :O
Odessa, TX to solve the mystery :P
I liked when he went in on Marlee Matlin. lol "Marlee Matlin...are you even listening to me?" Hahaha I loveeee him.
ReplyDeleteOh great you know 3.
Love the man
ReplyDeleteI've seen Harts "Let me Explain" special, Koy on an episode of Comics Unleashed and Ferrara on "Rescue Me"
8? You're giving me too much credit there ;) (21 actually)
I should really catch up on some of the most famous comedians but I usually like to stumble over brilliant specials by accident instead of having too high expectations beforehand.
Too nice of a person for that state? ;)
Little town, little chances to let out the inner geek so I like to call myself a closeted geek :P
Well he is the dark prince of comedy.
ReplyDeleteAh i see..
ReplyDeleteI will, guess I'll start with 48 hours tomorrow and go through the list, got some editing work at home so I'm glad I have something new to watch on the side.
Really depends on the guys jawline, I know I've got a good one but it's like someone not being comfortable with little clothes on. However I have to get rid of it soon anyway, clean cut photoshoots are not good for keeping beards alive :(
Totally makes sense, lucky for me it'll grow back in 3-4 weeks :P
ReplyDeleteOk, for my bday, you have to shave off your beard, and as proof that you did so, you have to put up a new profile picture, with your clean shaved face.
Have a goodnight. Cheers.
After watching Daredevil, I felt the arrow's tone is probably not dark enough.
ReplyDeleteCaramel is one of my favorite flavors as well. ^^
ReplyDeleteHoney! I was here in spirit.
ReplyDeleteI was here, upped Ur comment and left to discuss the new NBC shows. Those pick ups totally threw me off.
ReplyDeleteIs it strange that I have a Serbian song for this?? "Everyone is here, like in old times! Only U only U aren't beside me." @Koky #ThanksForThinkingAboutMe
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNNnbi56WgU
*high five*
ReplyDeleteThat's why I felt a cold breeze lol
ReplyDeleteDidn't see them. Why what's wrong with them?
ReplyDeleteWouldn't be surprised. ^^
ReplyDeleteAbout that erased comment I mention in the other thread.
Nothing wrong, just entered the discussion about them as I'm fanboying about Blindspot, a new G Berlanti show.
ReplyDeleteI have the same issue with Arrow. Wouldn't even say it's an issue, juts comic book GA was much more relaxed and enjoyable. I thought with that little beard and stuff they were slightly approaching Comic Arrow. Hope they eventually go there.
ReplyDeleteSmallville had so much soul and great writing throughout its 10 season run. The only issue I head was that they were like 15 when the show began, who the freaking hell looks like that with 15.
I binge watched all 10 seasons last year and it was sooooooooooo GOOD!
Yeah I saw.
ReplyDeleteI kinda agree....Arrow has a lot of faults. I take huge issue in the show appeasing shippers but it's not the only problem the show has.
ReplyDeleteHowever I'd rather watch Arrow casually than Daredevil because it's lighter. I love DD but the show is like...:REALLY dark
Agreed, I liked Justin Hartleys Oliver a lot more than Amells (not only because Hartley is the more stellar actor but also because the writing for him was better...less snoozey)
ReplyDeleteIt really did, sure there was a lot of shipping wars but look where it ended: right where it needed to in comic canon
I grew up with the show, it premiered when I started elementary school and ended a few years before my graduation
I mean Amell's origin story is way darker and he is much more central than Hartley. I hope for a lighter season 4, with a lot of batteling, great stunts and good storytelling.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh Ur a baby!!!!! How old are U than 20,21? So young. ^_^
I was so flashed when SL started. Superman Origin story!!! I loved it.
Yes it is. haha
ReplyDeleteA real Serbian has a "trashy" song for every occasion. ^_^
ReplyDeleteThat's kinda sad. Lol...and I watched that video for 1:19. Just in case you were wondering. Lol
ReplyDeleteHahaha. That is a sad song. We got a bunch of uptempo hits which are quite solid.
ReplyDeleteBtw just headed out to watch Age of Ultron. Read somewhere U gone watch it tonight as well.
of course it is but for something that dark the story quickly turned rather ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteSame plus: I want Olicity to be organic next season. If they have to do it, at least make it make sense unlike this out of the blue romance we started with season 3.
21 ^^
This Ra's story turned out quite unappealing, even though I liked the dialogue in 3x21 and found the story to flow a lot better.
ReplyDeleteOlicity was rushed and we were cheated out of a nice story with a lot of potential developing.
Exactly, Ra's plot is really weak (and again Matt Nable isn't helping the case either with his performance)
ReplyDeleteThey were kickstarted in ep1 of season 3 without much build up, while I hate ships I might have accepted it if developed right but now it just has a sour taste for me
yeah, in the episode Lois has flashbacks to the alternate future she visited where the kandorians took over
ReplyDeletethere's a picture featuring that scene, keep in minds: these black dots are supposed to be kandorians xD
http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11113/111130781/3576366-6345349262-909Sm.jpg
I'm so indifferent about Matt and his performance. It isn't strong but neither weak weak.
ReplyDeleteI mean Oliver needs a love interest, being asexual would help the show either.
ReplyDeleteMy issue is that it only came to be because fans were jumping the train, Olicity didn't come up organically but was rather shoehorned in. He could bang any character as long as the writers weren't influenced too much by the fanbase.
my issue is that the quick adding of Olicity totally destroyed Felicity for me, I really want to take her serious again but....I can't
That makes us around the same age i grew up with the show too the episode with kane was one of the good ones
ReplyDeleteTruth to be told they went for a cheaper solution for Ra's. They should've used a big name a better actor. But maybe the issue is the way they wrote Ra's he wasn't really the firm terrifying hand I expected, but I also assume they didn't aim for that and wanted to do somethibg different.
ReplyDeleteI think they set up a solid stage for Olicity in S02 but like a lot of things it backfired in S03 as it was fatal atraction out of nowwhere. So I get what U mean and I really agree.
I was so pissed when I saw Fel in the promo for next week. What the heck is she dping on the battle field??? Some sort of tech support back up plan would've been a much better position for her.
Wow....that looks awful. Even the outline of the buildings infront of the sky looks like crap.
ReplyDeleteStill, I was always a huge fan of the GA costume on SV. One of the very best costumes on that series along with the likes of Zatanna and Dr. Fate.
That was a sad song?? Well could've fooled me she looked happy as hell. And idk what she's saying at all so the music sounded chipper. Shrugs.
ReplyDeleteAnd yessssssss!!!! I just came home from seeing it. PURE EPICNESS!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!! OMG!!!!!! F*ck yeah i'm gonna see it again!!! (it's 1:05am now)
The movi was soooooooo great!!!! Loved it. So many great scenes, moment, effects. Just wow.
ReplyDeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteGunther?
ReplyDelete
