Yes!!
ReplyDeleteYeah!! All
ReplyDeleteMy shows got pick ups
Quantico has been picked up. Awesome news.
ReplyDeleteQuantico and the others were also picked up.
ReplyDeleteOriginal Sin and LA Crime were the other two so far
ReplyDeleteVery happy it was picked up.
ReplyDeleteOriginal Sin is now The Family.
ReplyDeleteOf King and Prophets as well.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
ReplyDeleteI think "The Family" ( FKA Original Sin ) is perfect for wednesdays 10PM. I can see Quantico tuesdays 9PM
ReplyDeleteAh I thought it was renamed alright
ReplyDeleteI don't know why ABC did that considering how AD turned out for NBC
ReplyDeleteany description/plot info on these show?
ReplyDeleteGot renamed twice.
ReplyDeleteYea!!!!! Im shaking right now cause I'm excited
ReplyDeleteSo far ABC has the best pick up so far
ReplyDeleteBring on another shondaland show :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you
ReplyDeleteAs usual !
ReplyDeleteDeadline says the comedy pickups are incoming.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy, after Kingmakers this was the two ABC pilots I most wanted to see
ReplyDeleteForever has been cancelled.
ReplyDeleteNot Chevy, not Chevy!!!!
ReplyDeleteGo NBA!
I feel bad for the people in Europe sleeping...
ReplyDeleteI am awake!!
ReplyDeleteNo surprises there, but sad for the fans :S
ReplyDeleteMe too!
ReplyDeleteNo surprise but who is reporting it?
ReplyDeleteNice lol
ReplyDeleteLucky you.
ReplyDeleteLA Crime was picked up too. That was my last favorite, The Shondaland show was a sure thing, nothing to worry about. Sad about Kingmaker tho :(
ReplyDeleteTHANK GOD FOR BOOM!!!!
ReplyDeleteMe too !
ReplyDeleteTotally agree, though there's isn't really that much competition.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little intrigued by "The Family", I like Joan Allen.
ReplyDeleteAlice Evans, the wife. It's on twitter
ReplyDeleteYay for Quantico and The Catch! Looking forward to their trailers. I guess no SHIELD spinoff then? Oh well. Come on Agent Carter!!
ReplyDeletewhat boom about
ReplyDeleteThey will deal with Marvel in a bi. Last year, Shield renewal and Carter pick up were announced apart from everything else.
ReplyDeleteAh thanks
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Of Kings and Prophets is gonna be more like "Kings" than "AD".
ReplyDeleteNp
ReplyDeleteAaaah okay. Thanks for letting me know and the fast reply! :)
ReplyDeletei am awakeeeee!
ReplyDeleteI hope that the pilot with Martha Plimpton will be ordered to series !
ReplyDeleteExcited about Quantico!
ReplyDeleteOmg so happy for Quantico, The catch and the jenna bans show.
ReplyDeleteJoe Adalian says history will be made in the next few minutes.
ReplyDeleteHey ABC...Agent Carter please?
ReplyDeleteMe too, those three ;)
ReplyDeleteNo worries!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh whose Joe Adalian?????
ReplyDeleteWill be checking out Quantico just to see how Priyanka Chopra fares. Quite excited to see her in a U.S show.
ReplyDeleteMe too, even though at this point I want it more just a way to stop Chevy from getting post MF.
ReplyDeleteCurious - why all the hype about "Quantico"?
ReplyDeleteQuantico will make me forget about the kingmakers.
ReplyDeleteTHE MUPPETS and THE REAL O'NEALS and DR. KEN have been picked up by ABC
ReplyDeleteABC has ordered The Muppets, Dr. Ken and Real O'Neals
ReplyDeleteAC and AOS will probably be annouce together
ReplyDeleteNo Chevy !
ReplyDeleteComedies ‘The Muppets’, ‘Dr. Ken’ & ‘The Real O’Neals’ Get ABC Series Orders
ReplyDeleteServes him right :)
ReplyDeleteCome on! NBA, make it! Even if it is midseason!
ReplyDeleteew The Muppets. I ahte those things D:
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about what he meant
ReplyDeleteABC has just ordered it !
ReplyDeleteThe Catch is lucky that it is a Shondaland production. If not, it's probably not on schedule. It'll last as long as Off The Map. 1 season and likely done. Boom won't survive, it's too niche. Of Prophets and Kings will die as hard as AD did this year. If Boom isn't the first drama cancellation on ABC, Of Prophets and Kings will be.
ReplyDeleteAs for the others, The Family may have a shot if paired up with Secret and Lies. Anywhere else on schedule and it's a bust. LA Crime has a real shot, it's fantastic. Tuesdays at 10 PM seems like an option. Quantico is the other fantastic pickup. If LA Crime doesn't go Tuesdays at 10 PM, Quantico should.
I think it will make it. And it should be for January imo, to take advantage of NBA itself.
ReplyDeleteI think it's because the people that read the script for the pilot have said it was the best one this season, similar to How to Get Away with Murder.
ReplyDeleteSad about Kingmakers D: I hope they dont give up and maybe go for cable?
ReplyDeleteL.A Crime and The Catch. Im gonna watch those.
If more than one of the ABC dramas listed here makes it past its first season I'll be shocked.
ReplyDeleteCan't ABC renew their current show first
ReplyDeleteNo surprise on The Muppets. Sundays seems like a lock on that show.
ReplyDeleteGood luck selling The Real O'Neals to Christians. But Paul Lee has to make one stupid comedy pickup each year. Dr. Ken was OK, but I don't see how it finds an audience.
Don't think I'll be watching any of these either :/
ReplyDeleteOUAT and Galavant were the first to get the nods. More should be coming soon
ReplyDeleteThe Real O'Neals is a much better choice than Chev!! I don't think it would fit that badly post MF.
ReplyDeleteHope we get something on AOS, it's spin-off and that secret project.
ReplyDeleteI really can't recommend any of the three after Modern Family. Hopefully, there will be more comedy pickups. If not, maybe Dr. Ken. But I'm not confident in that recommendation at all.
ReplyDeleteOmg ABC has the best drama line up among all networks. It's incredible. Unless the trailers suck, I can honestly say I'm interested in watching every single one of those pilots. Although I liked the name Original Sin better than The Family. I just have no idea how will they fit all these in their schedule.
ReplyDeleteHe did a followup tweet.
ReplyDeletehttps://twitter.com/TVMoJoe/status/596492320742055936
I know but I guess there are taking their time with AOS/AC Castle, GA scandal
ReplyDeleteThe name change isn't a bad move if they plan to air it Wednesdays at 10 and want it to fit better with the comedies.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they won't be ready on time and that is why so many dramas were picked. I can't see where ABC will squeeze two more.
ReplyDeleteI really hope they don't put a multi cam after MF, that would be horrible.
ReplyDeleteTo me, The Family works best with an emotional title like Secrets & Lies. But that may just be my selfish bias in how to schedule it.
ReplyDeleteMakes sense. But isn't the subject too dark to follow a comedy block?
ReplyDeleteI want to see AC renewed so badly!
ReplyDeleteI imagine they are just getting the last details ready to announce the renewals
Depends on episodes orders I guess, and one could be a bridge show if AC is cancelled (which I had forgotten about until just there :/ )
ReplyDeleteWell, I dunno, Is it darker than, say, Revenge was its first year? It was the most successful thing they've had in the slot.
ReplyDeleteAt least three of the series are rumored to be 15 episodes or less (The Family, Wicked City, Of Kings...").
ReplyDeleteNever thought Revenge was dark. It was very soap opera with a touch of procedural.
ReplyDeleteThe original title Fresh and Blood was the best. I liked Original Sin as well.
ReplyDeleteThe Catch should also be limited if the goal is to timeshare it with Murder.
ReplyDeleteEh. The Family is the only one here that I might check out when it airs. Good cast there. But they all have such dull loglines...
ReplyDeleteI can't see how The Catch goes more than 15 episodes. I figure it shares a timeslot with How To Get Away With Murder.
ReplyDeleteYeah I guess you are right. But will this one be darker than that?
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited for Quantico and The Family.
ReplyDeleteYou read my mind. That's exactly what I typed while you were writing this.
ReplyDeleteThey could time share the slot? Secrets and Lies was 10 episodes this season and The Family is rumored to be 15 episodes.
ReplyDelete15 is already very hard to fit in, since one of them would have to air a considerable amount of eps sans Scandal, which only does 22. I would say 10 is most likely.
ReplyDeleteI don't think so. It looks like a soap with a mystery. Perfect for wednesdays.
ReplyDeleteCristela has been cancelled.
ReplyDeleteI'm really curious if that means the Friday comedy block is dead.
ReplyDeleteLast Man Standing has a new showrunner for season 5 so it will be renewed.
ReplyDeleteYou are probably correct about the Catch. Mireille Enos might have requested the "Viola Davis deal" and is only willing to do 15 episodes as well.
ReplyDeleteHas NBC done with picking? " The Curse of The Fuentes Woman" is dead ?
ReplyDeletewhen does CBS start picking up new show?
ReplyDeleteSo has Resurrection
ReplyDeleteGuess it depends on what happened to the son while he was missing in terms of how dark the show is. Bans is the writer that did Sea of Fire pilot last season.
ReplyDeleteOn paper this sounds like it's gonna be the worst freshman class for ABC in like a decade at least.
ReplyDeleteABC has renewed everything but LMS, Forever, Cristela and Resurrection.
ReplyDeleteconfirmed?
ReplyDeletehttp://variety.com/2015/tv/news/abc-forever-cristela-resurrection-cancelled-1201490485/
ReplyDeleteWonder what happened to the shield spin off.
ReplyDeleteHurray the Catch!
ReplyDeleteWow. The ABC schedule fall/midseason/bridge should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteneed to fix the page with all the remaining ABC show renews.....it not working properly
ReplyDeleteAll for The Catch might check the others hope they pick up Broad City
ReplyDeleteYes quantico !! I'm so happy ABC picked it up
ReplyDeleteAgent carter and as are renewed too best day ever!
I knew the catch was gonna get picked up
ReplyDeleteI don't know. Maybe not. It's just the fact the boy was kidnapped and a possible plot of abuse which concerns me. He is old and alive, but who knows if we will have flashbacks.
ReplyDeleteCool! Quantico Made it! XD (Just holding out for Limitless and Minority Report)
ReplyDeleteQuantico,BOOM & The Catch all made it-WHAT A DAY!
ReplyDeleteI love you,ABC!
Does this mean the rest have been passed or not?
ReplyDeletePC is a good enough actress to be in a U.S. show.i think her recent film mary kom(2014) was the one which made her noticed by the casting manager of abc.
ReplyDeletei doubt quantico will be a 22 ep per season.
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit curious for Quantico, (formerly) Boom, and maybe Family but overall I'm quite indifferent.
ReplyDeleteWhat dramas were passed on ?
ReplyDeleteEh, not immediately interested in any of these.
ReplyDeletetl dr
ReplyDeletewhats the genre for them all?
Thank U ABC!
ReplyDelete5 new shows for me!
Kings and Prophets!
Wicked City and Boom!
The Catch!
The Family!
CAN'T WAIT FOR THE TRAILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YESSS Quantico!!!! And Boom!! Very happy with these orders!
ReplyDeleteYes for Boom, The Catch and Quantico
ReplyDeleteVery sad for The Advocate
So far, CW and ABC DID NOT pick my favorite pilots & FOX and CBS PICKED my favorite pilots. Kinda sucks, because The Advocate and Cheerleader were my absolute favorites
Still waiting for NBC's Fuentes Women
CBS hasn't picked up anything yet I believe. Only passed on LFE.
ReplyDeleteWait....
ReplyDeleteAndrew McCarthy is still alive? XD
Ok, that shock over....
I will give Boom a 3-episode trial for Delroy Lindo and Scott Michael Foster, but it sounds like it could turn out to be just another nighttime soap opera...
The Family and Quantico will get pilot watches to see if they can win me over, but the others are outright passes where I have no interest whatsoever. Overall none of the ABC dramas have a high anticipation factor from me.. No surprise.
SuperGirl :)
ReplyDeleteAnd i just found out that Fuentes Women is dead :(
ReplyDeleteRight, forgot about that one.
ReplyDeleteNBC should pick up more series, but you say Fuentes is dead? Hadn't heard about that.
Hollywoodreporter says it is dead, sadly
ReplyDeleteI just read it. Sorry for you!
ReplyDeleteWe might say goodbye to Gallavant, Agent Carter, AOS & OUAT next year ABC orderrd too much shows. It needs space... :(
ReplyDeletei'm just happy about priyanka and her quantico. not sure whether i'm going to check it out though
ReplyDeleteThe Catch, Wicked City and Quantico look kind of interesting. I'll check out The Family. Not too sure about "formerly Boom" sounds like a soap which, for me means, characters are extremely important.
ReplyDeleteQuantico and The family looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteABC looks so boring next season! Nothing remotely creative and literally every Shonda show sounds exactly the same.
ReplyDeleteKINGS AND PROPHETS could be interesting.
I'll wait for the trailers to come out. Right now, none of these sounds interesting, and ABC is the network I watched the most...
ReplyDeleteNot sure how happy I am to see Boom picked up, wonder if Scott Michael Foster can do both shows. I hope so, I love him on Chasing Life.
ReplyDeleteI can outright guarantee you that Agents of Shield will be renewed next year and I have a hard time imagining OUAT dropping enough to be cancelled.
ReplyDeleteI am with you, except for probably Kings and Prophets. Some of these I will watch almost for sure (both Shondas, Quantico), while others could easily get me as well depending on trailer (Boom, LA Crime)
ReplyDelete:) let's wait & see. I hope you are right. 1.7 is decent but lower than that OUAT risks.
ReplyDeleteit's not a hit anymore sadly.
ReplyDeleteWicked City is the only show that interests me purely on the storyline/content.
ReplyDeleteBut almost all of the other shows include actors and actresses that I enjoy, so I'll inevitably be forced to give the show a shot purely for them. The Catch (Mireille Enos and Bethany Joy Lenz), The Family (Allison Pill), Kings and Prophets (Maisie Richardson Sellers), Pate & Fishburne (Don Johnson), so it looks like I'll be pretty busy for the first couple of weeks of the fall season. Although I'm sure with at least a few of these I can drop them after a couple episodes. Why do shows that don't interest me insist on casting people I want to watch!?
I don't think I'll watch Kings and Prophets either, but I expect it to be like The Dove, a very short series. My country has a tradition with Biblical series, we even have a biblical soap opera right now which is a hit. So I actually don't expect America to do better than what I'm used.
ReplyDeleteI agree, but I wouldn't worry too much...
ReplyDeleteLast year SMF was on 18 episodes of Chasing Life, 7 of Halt and Catch Fire and 9 of Once Upon a Time.
I want Kingmakersssss !!!
ReplyDeleteYes!!!! The Catch and Wicked City aka LA Crime got picked up!! Now Taissa Farmiga is back on my screen again!
ReplyDeletePlus it has Priyanka Chopra, a Bollywood actress who is pretty big in the subcontinent.
ReplyDeleteIf it weren't for the screeners, I would go nowhere near Kings & Prophets. Boom also sounds pretty boring.
ReplyDeleteI am only interested in Quantico and The Catch among these.
I'm really excited for Of Kings and Prophets, but it makes me so nostalgic about Kings. It was the same biblical story adapted in a modern fictional setting. It was amazing but got cancelled way too soon.
ReplyDelete
