ReplyDeleteLol, Hey Karla! Nice to see you again!
ReplyDeletemakes me want to hurl kind of actually lol
ReplyDeleteLol!
ReplyDeleteDitto!!!
ReplyDeleteActually Liz there are times I am not sure you get it smh already
ReplyDeleteSo the war that is coming is going to be started by the Cabal...
ReplyDeleteI don't think she gets it either...
ReplyDeleteThere seem be wars coming in some form on most channels as we season finale our way out lol
ReplyDeleteI have noticed a few shows are doing that...Lol
ReplyDeleteI wish I could like her more............
ReplyDeleteA lot of fans do...
ReplyDeleteI wonder how Karakurt will tie into next week's finale and blacklister Masha Rostova...hmmmm
ReplyDeleteOh my Mommy is a myth and the plot thickens
ReplyDeleteHmmm..Katarina Rostova is a myth according to him...
ReplyDeleteGMTA and post as well it seems lol
ReplyDeleteLol...I was about to type that...
ReplyDeleteOh Red you are a piece of work
ReplyDeleteHe has a way with words
ReplyDeleteI rest my case
ReplyDeletejust started watching. That first death scene was horrible
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe there is only one episode left this season after this...
ReplyDeleteHEY!! Jason, what's up bud!!??
ReplyDeleteI get the impression you don't care for Tom
ReplyDeleteI like Tom...I don't like that Liz runs back to him and forgives him so easily...
ReplyDeleteBill Houston: Private Dick. Ha!
ReplyDeleteI feel that with about the red/liz relationship. I dont like how easily she forgives & forgets when it comes to red
ReplyDeleteLol! So funny
ReplyDeleteShe gets upset with him a lot too
ReplyDeletehow messed up is Red that he fell asleep to man screaming during interrogation
ReplyDeleteRight? He only cares about what he needs to care about...
ReplyDeleteThere's trouble
ReplyDeleteThats an interesting story arc between Connolly and Cooper...I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes...
ReplyDeleteWild friggin goose chase when will someone catch on
ReplyDeleteThey never do...
ReplyDeleteThats the promo photo we saw of Liz being hurt...
ReplyDeleteCooper is going to Red!! This is getting a lot better!
ReplyDeleteI am liking this drection
ReplyDeleteRed knows someone, Lol
ReplyDeleteHow did I know Red could help lol
ReplyDeleteFire in the Hole LMAO
ReplyDeleteLiz keeps referencing "The Truth" to Red that she will find it...Maybe a season three arc?
ReplyDeleteLol
ReplyDeleteOh Tom a date....................why why
ReplyDeleteYah. said i would make it
ReplyDeleteRight???!!! Why?!
ReplyDeletePossibly or another thing the writers have come up with for me to smh more
ReplyDeleteLol, but keep on watching...
ReplyDeleteI think red is going to kill Connolly
ReplyDeleteThat's a good theory, but not before he uses him to get as much info about the Cabal's intentions as possible...
ReplyDeleteI am liking more Ressler and Navabi this episode.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course any episode with Aram is a good one...
ReplyDeleteI like that Leonard Caul is still around...
ReplyDeleteAlso, I wonder when we will see Vanessa Cruz again...
ReplyDeleteThat was very smart of Red to ask Aram to look that up... Now we know the target is Senator Hawkins...
ReplyDeleteBut Red is not known for his patience he might snatch him up and torture him
ReplyDeleteVery true...that would be a great episode and great scenes... Maybe he will turn Connolly to his side?
ReplyDeletenice name "Jonas Flemming". Jonas Salk discovered the Polio vaccine and Alexander Fleming discovered Penicillin.
ReplyDeleteNice catch
ReplyDeleteDid they say WHY they needed Hawkins, specifically, dead?
ReplyDeleteOh noes
ReplyDeleteUh oh! You were too late Liz!
ReplyDeleteIf they did I missed it
ReplyDeleteLike last week things were kind of dragging and now with minutes left all hell is breaking loose Oy
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy, I agree. I like when The Blacklist has fast-paced episodes. Those tend to be fan favorites.
ReplyDeleteIs Liz ever going to find anything out about her mom?
ReplyDeleteMy guess is next episode. And most likely the final scene of this one...
ReplyDeleteIs Liz going to stand up Tom... I mean Jacob...
ReplyDeleteAnd yet I still wind up liking these as they usually set things up
ReplyDeletePoor Tom getting stood up lol
ReplyDeleteLol!
ReplyDeleteThis is getting good...
ReplyDeleteAh here comes Myth Mommy
ReplyDeleteWho were the two agents?
ReplyDeleteA child oh the look on Red's face
ReplyDeleteI saw that too...
ReplyDeletemy guess is the season ender cliffhanger will involve the mom somehow
ReplyDeleteDamn did not see that coming at all
ReplyDeleteNow we know why the next episode is called Masha Rostova!
ReplyDeleteThe finale is going to be great!
ReplyDeleteLOL :-)
ReplyDeleteShould be a greta finale
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for participating tonight!
ReplyDeleteOnly one episode left this season and it should be a great one!
Thanks so much for the live thread. I enjoy the show more when I have people to snark with :-)
ReplyDeleteLol, Thank you for participating Karla!
ReplyDeleteI hope you can make it next week for the finale... I will be here for sure.
Have a great night everyone and please do not forget to vote above for what you thought about tonight's episode of The Blacklist!
ReplyDeleteSee u next week
ReplyDeleteGlad you could make it tonight bud! Hope you can make it next week too!
ReplyDeleteOkay, Honestly i loved this episode, from the Tension between Red and Lizzie, The case of the week, How strong/Smart she was for a change, the little bit of info about her mum, the creepy blacklister and horrible virus. I liked it a lot. Red being Red, Fire In The Hole! I want to hug Daniel Knauf for this one. The end. OMG. I even liked Ressler ;-) and i am slowly feeling bad for Jacob, just a little.
ReplyDeleteMighty convenient that Liz comes forward, they figure out who her mother was and they frame her in such a short period of time and she happens to be the agent who gets to the senator.
ReplyDeleteare Liz and Tom basically back together? (UGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this one. It was wishing for more than the hour. I loved seeing more of Red's band of misfits. Reddy Bear... Priceless.
ReplyDeleteMe too.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Knauf is god.
ReplyDeleteso there's chance that they WON'T go back to that?
ReplyDeleteNo, she totally broke his heart tonight.
ReplyDeleteare you POSITIVE though? like next the show won't change their minds and go back to it? and what heart Tom doesn't have a heart, when yo say broke his heart do you mean like she INTENTIONALLY did it or something came up? PLEASE say the former
ReplyDeleteSince she has exerience as a top frame up artist, Red might use her help to clean Liz ´s name.
ReplyDeleteMe during the final minutes. http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m93ctvRDJb1qak9k1.gif
ReplyDeleteFrom last wek, you could see The Cabal was gonna try and blae her and they did it when the guy knocked ehr out in the emtro station. God Cooper you should've at least call it when they told you they saw Kakarot there.
Tom, man, you are better kicking ass not being the soapy type kind of guy waiting for the girl .Go fight with her dont wait in a dinner for something that is most likely not to happen.
Im glad Red found out everything and at elast could warn her. Now the Team si going to have a great deal of work helping her while not helping her.
I think that Tom's boat idea doesnt sound so bad after all.
I think I saw that coming.
ReplyDeletesmh?
ReplyDeleteI liked the way Liz smiled when she said she had a lead and was going to find the truth about her mom.
ReplyDeleteYes very convenient that the Cabal starts a war with Rusia and Liz happens to be rusian.
ReplyDeleteI thought that she happend to be the agent because Connelly said something about what happens when you anser some questions and shake some hands.
The thing is Liz drops off the fulcrum, suddenly the secret service is taking to the old man and the terrorist already in town sets up a fake bombing know to tackle Liz and infect her, not know if they would figure out the target and not knowing if Liz would be the one to get to the target but immediately Connolly is there to arrest Liz, Convenient. I write better than this when I am sober and have had no sleep for weeks.
ReplyDeleteGod how can the Task Force stop The Cabal?!!!!! i should've known they framed Liz because of the press release of the season finale, i just didn't expect it like this. Tom no matter what you call yourself you're still the man that lied, hurt and manipulated Liz. So just because you're using your real name, it doesn't mean SQUAT! and i hope Liz feels the same way. Liz's mother sounds pretty badass
ReplyDeletebut with Red is different
ReplyDeleteyou know the Blacklister for next week is Liz right?
ReplyDeletei found it interesting Liz called it a "Cold War" and not a WORLD War
ReplyDeletedoubt it
ReplyDeleteyeah i'm surprised at how much we're seeing him
ReplyDeletewhen she jumped a little on the counter it was a little cute LOL
ReplyDeletethat's really cool
ReplyDeleteThere is always a chance but who knows lol
ReplyDeleteshaking my head
ReplyDeleteThe task force cannot really do much. Lol. Red will stop them though.
ReplyDeleteI thought about Vanessa Cruz too and I was thinking she looks a little like Liz. Maybe that will be how she plays into the finale?
ReplyDeleteGood observation...a cold war would be boring...
ReplyDeleteYes, I realized that after I typed that line...Lol
ReplyDeleteThats a very good theory. It will be an interesting story thread.
ReplyDeleteI'm not watching the Blacklist anymore, but I couldn't miss the Turkish title of the episode. Is there a special reason why it was chosen? It means black wolf.
ReplyDeleteLast night's episode, Karakurt, was both good news & bad for fans who love The Blacklist.
ReplyDeleteFirst the bad. The writers still don't get it about the Liz/Tom relationship: people HATE it! Why? Because it stereotypes Liz as an emotional female, who makes poor decisions because because she's in love with a "bad boy"--and we all know that strong women are putty in the hands of bad boys. Not! So, having Liz (after spending the night with Tom at the end of the previous episode) continue to meet-up with him, and play coy with their romantic back-and-forth, truly degrades her character in the minds of so many fans--including me. So, Blacklist Writers, WHY are you degrading your female lead?
Also, in the bad column is the easy-out the show is taking with AG Tom Connolly. He was shaping up to be a real sinister force in some of the early episodes this season; but, has now been downgraded to a mere thug, working for the "cabal." [Yes, that's a TERRIBLE name]. Connolly could have been a Villain and worthy opponent of Cooper; just as "The Director" is suppose to be a suitable villain to oppose Red. Speaking of...
Where was the all-powerful, sinister "Director" in this episode. The Karakurt storyline is so twisted (hiring a Russian assassin to kill a patriotic U.S. Senator in order to bring back the Cold War, and justify the existence/budgets (?) of the U.S. intelligence community) is just so yesterday AND convoluted. But, wait...that's NOT really what Karakurt was doing after all. He's just another of the numerous red-herrings (kind of a pun) in the very mixed Season 2.
Which brings us to the "best" of the good aspects of last night's episode: Liz as an unwitting assassin.
Yes, that caught me off guard; though I've been waiting for the writers to pick of the "string" they left via Agent Navabi several episodes ago--when she said that Liz possessed a "special gene". At the time it seemed like Liz had a "Killer Gene"--and my thinking was that she could be some Manchurian Candidate waiting to be trigger. But it now seems like she has a biological make-up that, if it comes into contact with people possessing another, specific genetic code, turns touching or contact with Liz has a fatal effect on them. It's very Sci-Fi, but is also quite clever.
This latest turn (one episode from the season finale...cheap ploy!) is very promising in explaining Red's obsession with Liz (did he contribute to infecting her? was he suppose to kill the child Liz? did her parents infect their daughter as part of a cruel experiment?); and explains why she's so important in the Grand Scheme of things. She's a Human Weapon, who kills with her touch. The question is, can the Bad Guys (or Good Guys?) create biological infections that can be transmitted to ANYONE--thus making them targets that can be killed by Liz Keen, aka, "Typhoid Mary".
Beyond these Big Questions, I'm hoping that the new Red/Cooper Alliance is something that stays, since they have been on the same side from season one episode one--Cooper just didn't know it. And, yes, dear Blacklist Writers it's time for Tom Keen/Jacob to get his Nick Brody fate--death, that liberates the main female character to "become" herself, without being a doormat for a worthless, manipulating User.
That's not the way I viewed her actions. The Writers are still playing with a Liz/Tom romance. For some reason they view it as "attractive" and compelling. I see it as degrading Liz--and the fact that the writers don't, makes me very suspicious of their values and intelligence.
ReplyDeletewhen i said "Task Force" i mean also Red actually, because he didn't even figure out Liz was the target until the end, so yeah how can Red stop then too. This group seems VERY powerful
ReplyDeletenot "Spider"?
ReplyDeleteRussian is Spider! Turkish is black wolf.
ReplyDeleteThat was a totally, Please notice me Red and not that woman moment ;-) Her lipstick colour should be Green Envy and that kiss. Awkward...
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure. That's a great question. If I had to guess I would definitely say single digits. I think 'Number 4' is going to be someone special because Red is 4 on the FBI List and the number 4 appears quite a bit when he is around. Berlin is 8, Tom is 7 - Numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 I would imagine is for people close to Red. She is definitely 1, 2, 3 or 4. Hmmm, Lol, this is difficult. I want to say 1, but I would've thought they would leave that for the final season. Final Answer - Liz (Masha) will be '4' on the blacklist. It would be perfect because it would mirror Red being '4' on the FBI list and add to their close connection. '4'.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think she will be?
yeah i don't think it will No.1, like you said it will a VERY long time until we see the Number 1 Blacklister, so i'm leaning toward 4 or 5
ReplyDelete
