Per deadline, CW has passed on Tales from the Darkside. ABC has passed on 4 comedy pilots; Family Fortune, Knoxville, Brainy Bunch. Delores and Jermaine was passed on earlier today.
I agree. According to all pilot buzz article LoT & Cordon were sure picks. Dead People was always dead. Last spot seemed to be Tales vs Squad so i guess you are right (i hope)
They can, though it be surprising. Dead People doesn't have enough buzz among The CW, but since Tales is out they may order it... Maybe to air it during the sumner or somethig, just to please CBS
Deadline:The CW, which already renewed 9 series and has the Arrow-Flash spinoff on tap for midseason, only ordered four pilots. Of them, Julie Plec’s Cordon has been the clear frontrunner. The anthology Tales From the Darkside had been getting traction with a well executed pilot but its anthology format was a source of uncertainty about how a full season would look, and the project was in need of a showrunner.
Tales from the Darkside was one of two CBS TV Studios-produced pilots at the CW. (Cordon and Arrow-Flash spinoff hail from the network’s other sister studio, Warner Bros. TV). The CW always has picked up at least one new series from CBS TV Studios, which increases the chances of the studio’s other pilot, satire Cheerleader Death Squad, from Marc Cherry, Neal Baer and Dan Truly. (The
I'm very disappointed in the CW for passing on Tales From The Darkside. It was such an iconic show and it really would have helped the network out. Oh well.
CW passed on Tales From The Darkside, but perhaps not Cheerleader Death Squad? Really? The one they passed on sounds a lot more interesting. My initial impression is Cheerleader Death Squad needs a rename and is likely as DOA as The Messengers this year.
No surprise on the ABC comedies being passed on. Delores & Jermaine had the most potential of the four, but I don't see it working, especially if they abandon the Friday comedy block.
I hope so ,but they only co own it with LionsGate and Tenn tax credits get smaller every season and there's always talk about moving production out of Tenn and last year,it was a 11th hour renewal so I'm anxious
She was one of Chelsea Handler/Lately's writers and panellist ( the big Lesbian girl ) and she wrote a show about her life named after herself. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3833084/?ref_=ttfc_fc_wr5
They were always going to pick up at least CBS pilot and as Pedowitz dosent want all genre shows and CDS always was more Likley to be picked up according to the sites and plus Czw wanted a female skewing show since Legends & Cordon are male skewing
All valid points, but it just highlights that CW is picking up Cheerleader Death Squad for every reason besides it being an appealing concept. At this point, CW needs the best it can get, from any production company.
The pilot might not have turned out very well though, in which case it would be a bit pointless. Haven't heard any buzz about it, which could of course just mean it came in late.
it's also possible the pilot turned out really poorly, which would make it potentially a really smart move on their part. still a bummer, i would've checked it out
Fun fact: The Brainy Bunch was the ABC comedy pilot most people wanted picked up to series. That is, according to our polls: http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/04/poll-which-pilots-do-you-want-to-be.html
I honestly can't think of any place where Chevy would work besides on Fridays, appealing to an older audience. It really doesn't fit in with their potential Tuesday or Wednesday comedy lineups.
Speaking for myself: 1. I cannot stand Chevy Chase so the idea of a comedy frontlined by him making its way to television while so many talented people are kept from there is... annoying at best to me.
2. I could be wrong about this but, for the life of me, I cannot imagine a comedy like that succeeding and being a drawn for young viewers. I think it will attract tons of old viewers but be a demo flop.
I think Chevy may be good after goldbergs if they move Middle to Tuesday's ... Idk if they want to put something else new after MF when everything except for Blackish has failed
I am looking forward to the NBA comedy myself. The others depend on trailers but I could see myself watching quite a few of them. As long as they aren't Chevy, I am fine lol. Dr. Ken would probably be a pass from me as well.
Part of the fun of a show like Tales From the Darkside would be the actors the show could get to do a single episode, that would largely be negated by being on the CW. The concept would probably work better on cable. Also the two story lines per episode sounded stupid to be.
He was a horrible, mean spirited person while he was on Community and almost destroyed the show because of that. He got the creator kicked out basically and was saying nasty stuff about him and the cast on media (including derrogatory racial comments about fellow castmates). He also spits on the hand that feeds him.
Lol I can see your point if someone I disliked a lot got a show I'd be mad... And true about demo... I like him though I watched Vacation with my grandma a lot so brings back memories for me
Ha yeah I was just going to reference that. I thought it might have a chance, since The CW took a few chances this past year with JtV and to a lesser extent iZombie, I thought they'd keep trying stuff a bit offbeat and out of their comfort zone.
I like Martha Plimpton and this one is at least a family comedy. Which other options there is? Ken and Buck are multicams, and the others seem too out there/ not family comedies. And this one is owned by ABC, so it should have a better shot I would guess.
Actually he said "next you have pierce call troy a n***a", wasn't a derrogatory term towards a castmate but an insult to the writers because he complained about Pierce always beig the butt of the joke
I think Cheerleader Death Squad sounds kinda of awesome. Especially dont get some of the complaints about the name??? The name of the show is great. Would watch that show over the Cordon, which the CW will try to do 22 episodes for a foreign format that did 10 episodes, which is strike 1. Strike 2 is Julie Plec.
Cordon has two strikes against it for me. 1) the CW will likely try to do 22 episodes when the show is based on a foreign format that did 10 episodes. 2) Julie Plec
I would watch Cordon if it was being done on TNT for example, by someone else and 10 episodes a season.
I am sure it is the big reason why it is being picked up. Maybe Cordon will be good because it has a great concept and the original show sounds very good, but I have doubts about Julie Plec.
I grew up watching Christmas Vacation a thousand times each christmas, so I for the life of me can't help but love his stuff.
I know he's a d*ck, not only from people on the web but actualy people that worked with him on set (my gramps who was anchor on a local news show had him on once for an interview and he said it went about as well as you could expect, plus a professor of mine was part of the crew on the Chevy Chase show) and yeah...he is...but....I just can not NOT watch stuff he's in
So these are the ones left Single Cam: Chev and Bev, The Real O Neals, The 46 Percenters, Irreversible, The King of 7B, Judah Miller, Warriors Multi Cam: Dr Ken, Uncle Buck What is the Muppets comedy single cam or multi cam?
I'm still thinking that if utilized on rare occasion he could work well with any cast. Hire him as the cranky old janitor that only appears on one set (appartement complex), shoot his stuff in a row and you're rid of him for a few days until shooting his next few scenes in a row (should've done that for Community as well)
Ya I figured it would be a slim chance anyways since the past 2 shows he has pitched to them they also passed on. I think it would be a nice summer show though...
I kind of had wondered though if the Pilot was filmed late. We only learned of 3 cast members and it seems like that news came out when other Pillots were already filming????
I'm surprised as well, but seem like the pilot didn't work out as no buzz even mentions it. P.S. Barely recognized U with the new avatar. I know the name but the avatar doesn't fit. O.o ^^
It's about deadly virus in a hospital. With a bunch of people inside and the other half on the outside and an epic love story between a couple inside and outside. Julie cast a bunch of handsome males and thinks it will work
Over all CW went for the "big names" this year. Marc Cherry, "Julie Plec", JJ and the Flarrow family. Wouldn't be surprised if the show pulls off a surprise.
For CW standards big, I agree. Still I'm really not sure how theCW thinks to squeeze all these shows into the next year
Plus: how are they going to do that financially?! Flash/Arrow/Legends and TVD/TO benefit from being crossproductions that share quite some expenses but what about JtV, Reign, BatB, 100 and all the others?!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I am kinda surprised for CW passing on Tales!
ReplyDeleteAmazing news
ReplyDeleteChances of Cheerleader Death Squad have increased so much right now, right? Can they order 0 CBS pilots?
So with Dead People also, uhm, dead, I guess the CW will pick up the other three pilots: Cordon, CDS and the spinoff.
ReplyDeleteYAY! CDS seems like the new Buffy to me.
ReplyDeleteCDS will get picked up now.
ReplyDeleteWhy arw dead people dead? (pun semi intended)
ReplyDeleteI agree. According to all pilot buzz article LoT & Cordon were sure picks. Dead People was always dead. Last spot seemed to be Tales vs Squad so i guess you are right (i hope)
ReplyDeleteNot really surprised by TotD passed.
ReplyDeleteBut what was Family fortune again?
It never got any buzz + Article says (The remaining pilot, WBTV/Bad Robot’s Dead People, does not look good at the moment.)
ReplyDeleteAnd abc Passed on Johnny Knoxville.
ReplyDeleteDamn, I would have liked this one. Kind of disappointed cos I've zero interest in CDS.
ReplyDeleteLegends is a given so it's "Cordon", Cheerleader Death Squad", and "Dead People".
ReplyDeleteThey can, though it be surprising.
ReplyDeleteDead People doesn't have enough buzz among The CW, but since Tales is out they may order it... Maybe to air it during the sumner or somethig, just to please CBS
Super lame move, CW.
ReplyDeleteJohnny Knoxville and Brainy Bunch got a pass by ABC as well. They should be announcing renewals pretty soon!
ReplyDeleteAnd Brainy Bunch
ReplyDeleteThis is bad news for some people.
ReplyDeleteCordon is also a given, it seems The CW really loved it, the pilot buzz articles won't shut up about it
ReplyDeleteI'm worried Nashville. It should be safe due to syndication, but MP was cancelled at the same point so odk.
ReplyDeleteI get it, today a lot of us will lose some shows/pilots
ReplyDeleteI would actually watch TotD if it was picked, i just prefer CDS
Oh man! And here I am at class, which starts in 10 minutes! I'll miss out the fun :(
ReplyDeleteIt really seems like a Nikita-esque show to me. I'm looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteABC's ownership stake on Nashville should prevent that from happening here, although Liansgate is the major owner I believe.
ReplyDeleteDeadline:The CW, which already renewed 9 series and has the Arrow-Flash spinoff on tap for midseason, only ordered four pilots. Of them, Julie Plec’s Cordon has been the clear frontrunner. I would love for Maggie Q to join the cast since they only have 5 members so far. I need her as a SPY again ASAP
ReplyDeleteThank god about Family Fortune. The plot sounded awful and full of cliches. Hoping Chevy is next to get a pass.
ReplyDeleteI still don't know what it's about. I just know that Chris is in it and if Chris is in it I want to see it.
ReplyDeleteExciting. And I just bashed hoW they are witholding in the Open discussion post.
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that it is owned by ABC so they shoudl be interested in syndication more than FOX with NBC-owned Mindy
ReplyDeleteI hope so too! All three pilots look great to me!
ReplyDeleteYes, I keep hoping we ready about Chevy getting a pass lol.
ReplyDeleteShe is pretty good in Stalker though. But sadly that will be cancelled.
ReplyDeleteIt's about an epidemic I believe.
ReplyDeleteThanks, updated.
ReplyDeleteHappy to help
ReplyDeleteI hope so.So CW should be announcing pickup any time now right ,since they renewed IZombie and passed on Tales?
ReplyDeleteNo buzz isn't bad buzz either.
ReplyDeleteCome on ABC pick up Quantico
ReplyDeleteTales from the Darkside as an anthalogy should make it's way to FOX to see how will it do.
ReplyDeleteI'm very disappointed in the CW for passing on Tales From The Darkside. It was such an iconic show and it really would have helped the network out. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Also last year those pesky Tax incentives came into play as well about how much show we would get. Hopefully it works out again this year.
ReplyDeleteI feel that it will get picked up 😒
ReplyDeleteI know there is always 'talk' every year, but I did read that TNT are interested in having Stalker. Crossing my fingers, as I do enjoy the show.
ReplyDeleteYour guess is as good as mine, I don't know. I think ABC should be about to step in considering they are passing on so much stuff.
ReplyDeleteI agree. But sadly i think Stalker is dead so i hope she will be wanted in any show as regular for next season
ReplyDeleteMe too. Urgh!
ReplyDeleteCW passed on Tales From The Darkside, but perhaps not Cheerleader Death Squad? Really? The one they passed on sounds a lot more interesting. My initial impression is Cheerleader Death Squad needs a rename and is likely as DOA as The Messengers this year.

ReplyDeleteI have to leave for dinner now. Hopefully no renewals/pick ups come in that time.
ReplyDeleteI read that too, but I think it's too early to tell. I would love for another network to pick it up.
ReplyDeleteDoes your mobile have internet access? Just turn it on during dinner and glance down once in a while.
ReplyDeleteWe're getting closer.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'll have to watch the pilot screener, which I am already dreading. I hate Chevy Chase.
ReplyDeleteI really hope so, but I doubt it.
ReplyDeleteThe only two CW pilots that have a shot are Cordon and Cheerleader Death Squad.
ReplyDeleteI doubt the CW was ever going to greenlight an anthology series. There are very few networks that would take that gamble.
She was one of Chelsea Handler/Lately's writers and panellist ( the big Lesbian girl ) and she wrote a show about her life named after herself.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm3833084/?ref_=ttfc_fc_wr5
My mom would kill me for doing that, lol
ReplyDeleteAlso, I can't post on the site as quickly as from my laptop.
Tuesdays at 10 PM is perfect for Quantico, leading out of S.H.I.E.L.D. They really should consider it.
ReplyDeleteI am super nervous about ABC, i am rooting for 5 dramas, but only One of them is having a lot of buzz
ReplyDeleteYeah should be almost there
ReplyDeleteThey were always going to pick up at least CBS pilot and as Pedowitz dosent want all genre shows and CDS always was more Likley to be picked up according to the sites and plus Czw wanted a female skewing show since Legends & Cordon are male skewing
ReplyDeleteDead Peopkes DoA
ReplyDeletedo you think we get pick ups and renewals today?
ReplyDeleteYes, for sure.
ReplyDeleteNot good news for us Chevy anti-fans
ReplyDeleteI have my favorites in development but I am way more nervous about cancellations. I want Agent Carter renewed.
ReplyDeleteAll valid points, but it just highlights that CW is picking up Cheerleader Death Squad for every reason besides it being an appealing concept. At this point, CW needs the best it can get, from any production company.
ReplyDeleteTwo!
ReplyDeleteI think Chevy will be picked up now.
ReplyDeleteif it gets Friday I will be fine
ReplyDeleteUrggg. I am praying they pick up The Real O'Neals now for 9h30 Wed. It is probably either that or Chase.
ReplyDeleteThe pilot might not have turned out very well though, in which case it would be a bit pointless. Haven't heard any buzz about it, which could of course just mean it came in late.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think gets Wednesday?
ReplyDeleteMe too, I am dreading it.
ReplyDeleteIt may have been a terrible pilot, which is a shame because the potential is there to be something amazing on screen.
ReplyDeleteno idea but I hope they put a family comedy on wed
ReplyDeleteYou might not think its an appealing concept but many do .IMO,it's the pilot this season ,especially from CW,that sounds good.
ReplyDeleteWhy does everyone hate Chevy so much? Lol
ReplyDeleteI had feeling Tales wouldn't be picked up... Cordon is going to get pick up and maybe cheerleader but everything else never had chance
it's also possible the pilot turned out really poorly, which would make it potentially a really smart move on their part. still a bummer, i would've checked it out
ReplyDeleteFun fact: The Brainy Bunch was the ABC comedy pilot most people wanted picked up to series. That is, according to our polls: http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/04/poll-which-pilots-do-you-want-to-be.html
ReplyDeleteAlso of Goldbergs moves to 8, it won't be with the most compatible pilot on 8:30
ReplyDeleteI honestly can't think of any place where Chevy would work besides on Fridays, appealing to an older audience. It really doesn't fit in with their potential Tuesday or Wednesday comedy lineups.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking for myself:
ReplyDelete1.
Chevy Chase has a reputation for being a nasty person (especially when he was on Community) so a lot of people dislike him for that.
ReplyDeletejust saw someone post something from deadline below that said the pilot was good, so nvm i take back the above comment! lol
ReplyDeleteI think Chevy may be good after goldbergs if they move Middle to Tuesday's ... Idk if they want to put something else new after MF when everything except for Blackish has failed
ReplyDeleteHe might be a brilliant comedian but he's really hard to work with. He has quite an ego and a pretty odd work ethic
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to the NBA comedy myself. The others depend on trailers but I could see myself watching quite a few of them. As long as they aren't Chevy, I am fine lol. Dr. Ken would probably be a pass from me as well.

ReplyDeleteSeeiously? That one sounds terrible too. I'm hoping for Dr. Ken (Fridays)
ReplyDeleteI think it'll only pick up the spin-off + a CBS drama. Their slots are overcrowded at this point
ReplyDeleteMaybe this gives Cristela more of a chance? I hope so
ReplyDeleteHe was a horrible, mean spirited person while he was on Community and almost destroyed the show because of that. He got the creator kicked out basically and was saying nasty stuff about him and the cast on media (including derrogatory racial comments about fellow castmates). He also spits on the hand that feeds him.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has their opinion, so I wouldn't ever discourage anyone from sampling and forming their own interpretation.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I'd really strongly encourage anyone interested to look at Cordon. It's high on almost every buzz list for a reason, it's their standout.
I think I would enjoy NBA project more if it wasn't developed solely for branding reasons (Disney/ABC/ESPN)
ReplyDeleteLol I can see your point if someone I disliked a lot got a show I'd be mad... And true about demo... I like him though I watched Vacation with my grandma a lot so brings back memories for me
ReplyDeleteHa yeah I was just going to reference that. I thought it might have a chance, since The CW took a few chances this past year with JtV and to a lesser extent iZombie, I thought they'd keep trying stuff a bit offbeat and out of their comfort zone.

Would watch that show over the Cordon, which the CW will try to do 22 episodes for a foreign format that did 10 episodes, which is strike 1. Strike 2 is Julie Plec.
ReplyDeleteABC always mass produces pilots. These passes aren't anything special.
ReplyDeletehttp://gawker.com/5899097/hes-not-chevy-hes-an-asshole-a-history-of-chevy-chases-horrific-behavior
ReplyDeletethat said I would totally cast him in any comedy pilot I'd produce. Still care more about talent than egos
ReplyDeleteFortune was one of the best panelists on Chelsea Lately, so I'm a little bummed, I was curious to check it out.
ReplyDeleteBetter for them to pass on it, than ruin it's legacy.
ReplyDeleteWOW, I had no idea. He sounds like one awful man, now I hope his show doesn't get picked up. It will though, which is unfortunate.
ReplyDeleteThere was more to it than that. He also referred to Allison and Gillian as being those two white girls from the show.
ReplyDeleteWow I was expecting Dead people to axed before TOTDS, but I'm glad it still has a chance, but def looks good for CLDS and C....
ReplyDeleteThat has never stopped me from enjoying shows (OUAT and Shield are two of my absolute favorite shows).
ReplyDeleteCordon has two strikes against it for me.
ReplyDelete1) the CW will likely try to do 22 episodes when the show is based on a foreign format that did 10 episodes.
2) Julie Plec
I would watch Cordon if it was being done on TNT for example, by someone else and 10 episodes a season.
JP is a big part of the reason Cordon will be picked up
ReplyDeleteokay that was....odd. Haven't heard that though.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I still miss Pierce on Community and no matter how big of a dick Chevy is, I'll watch the hell out of any comedy he does.
Damn it! I have to go now, but I don't want to miss out on anything!
ReplyDeleteoh CW, should have at least tried Tales from the Darkside as Summer programming
ReplyDeleteI got an irrational hate towards the guy. It's not rational, but I just can't help it. He annoys me to no end.
ReplyDeleteImagine the blind items if his show gets picked up. His on set behavior is notorious.
ReplyDeleteI am sure it is the big reason why it is being picked up. Maybe Cordon will be good because it has a great concept and the original show sounds very good, but I have doubts about Julie Plec.
ReplyDeleteBut seems like the pilot is good. And JP breaths CW so probably a fresh perfect match.
ReplyDeleteI grew up watching Christmas Vacation a thousand times each christmas, so I for the life of me can't help but love his stuff.
ReplyDeleteI know he's a d*ck, not only from people on the web but actualy people that worked with him on set (my gramps who was anchor on a local news show had him on once for an interview and he said it went about as well as you could expect, plus a professor of mine was part of the crew on the Chevy Chase show) and yeah...he is...but....I just can not NOT watch stuff he's in
I was wondering if they filmed it a bit late?
ReplyDeleteNo way. Cordon is getting love from everyone in every article it seems
ReplyDeleteDead People's only chance is being a summer and it's slim at best. It's a shame since I wanted to see it :S
ReplyDeleteThey will have a lot of scripted shows sent to summer, like Reign
ReplyDeleteI do not think that show would work on the CW. Sounds like a W25-54 to me.
ReplyDeleteSo these are the ones left
ReplyDeleteSingle Cam: Chev and Bev, The Real O Neals, The 46 Percenters, Irreversible, The King of 7B, Judah Miller, Warriors
Multi Cam: Dr Ken, Uncle Buck
What is the Muppets comedy single cam or multi cam?
I think they will have BATB, The 100 and Reign there next summer.
ReplyDeleteI Need damn kingmakers to be Picked up! That is all I qm asking for!
ReplyDeleteThis is a good news for the other ABC family comedies.
ReplyDeleteWorth noting that the only single cams from that group owned by ABC are Chev, The Real O'Neals and Warrior.
ReplyDeleteWell, it'd create some buzz then :P
ReplyDeleteI'm still thinking that if utilized on rare occasion he could work well with any cast. Hire him as the cranky old janitor that only appears on one set (appartement complex), shoot his stuff in a row and you're rid of him for a few days until shooting his next few scenes in a row (should've done that for Community as well)
Any t100 fans know if Steve Talley is a regular in Tales From the Darkside?
ReplyDeleteCome on networks! Ur are so close, now just send out a press release about a pick up. It's just hitting 1 enter!
ReplyDeleteKing of 7B is ABC studios.
ReplyDeleteYeah Deadline said it was a fight between Family Fortune and The Real O Neals, TRON is getting picked up.
ReplyDeleteYa I figured it would be a slim chance anyways since the past 2 shows he has pitched to them they also passed on. I think it would be a nice summer show though...
ReplyDeleteI kind of had wondered though if the Pilot was filmed late. We only learned of 3 cast members and it seems like that news came out when other Pillots were already filming????
Irreversible did not go to pilot, they didn't find a co-star to lift the contingency.
ReplyDeleteAh sorry you are correct. That one isn't a family comedy though, so hopefully it doesn't land on Tuesday or Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteThanks, dunno why deadline still list it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it was getting a lot of buzz but it is still possible.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Family Fortune a multi cam though ?
ReplyDeleteIt's get post-Modern Family lol
ReplyDeleteI will take anything over Chev!
ReplyDeleteDead People is produced by Bad Robot? No way they'd pass on a JJ Abrams production o.O
ReplyDeleteIt was multi, but Deadline said earlier when they talked about the pilots buzz they want to pick up one of these 2 for a family sitcom.
ReplyDeleteThere was talk that they only wanted one 'coming out' comedy series.
ReplyDeleteDeadline: Fox Pilots Update: ‘Lucifer’ Rising
ReplyDeleteIMDb lists him as a cast member: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4419934/combined
ReplyDeleteNot sure if he's a regular though, but seems likely to me.
Ah that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you see that?
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised as well, but seem like the pilot didn't work out as no buzz even mentions it.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Barely recognized U with the new avatar. I know the name but the avatar doesn't fit. O.o ^^
I'm so anxious for more news! I shouldn't even be on here right now lol
ReplyDeleteJust posted the link.
ReplyDeleteMe too.
ReplyDeleteAlso it says Studio City could be passed on because its expensive and thats why Lucifer is rising and they are looking for a new showrunner.
ReplyDeleteWow I like the main actor but didn't thought the pilot had a chance.
ReplyDeleteWeird, but with theCWs schedule any show is going to have trouble getting picked up, even if David Lynch produced it :P
ReplyDeleteWell...still the same face though, Shannon told me to shave, so I did ;)
According to Deadline:
ReplyDeleteFox may be picking up all off its drama pilots except for Studio City,
Studio City might be out
ReplyDeleteWait, WHAT?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteThis is INSANITY!
ReplyDeleteI have to get off here! lol
ReplyDeleteRosewood is getting post Empire.
ReplyDeleteThat tells me nothing. lol
ReplyDeleteYeah Deadline says its expensive and could pick up everything but Studio City
ReplyDeleteAnd me! And I have so much work lol
ReplyDeleteI honestly though Studio City was going to get it
ReplyDeleteI am shocked with that one
ReplyDelete2nd that. It was one of the front runners.
ReplyDeleteThis is more shocking than Chris Daughtry's Idol elimination lol (he was writing music for SC)
ReplyDeleteI thought so too but then, did secrets and lies or american crime have any buzz? No. Yet they were Picked up
ReplyDeleteFOX will make a mistake here it could be a perfect pairing with the Empire. Its too expensive for FOX so they want to pass on.
ReplyDeleteThey don't say anything about it being expensive.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone hears any news on Limitless, Minority Report, or Quantaco, could you reply to me?! LOL I have to get off this machine and interweb! :p
ReplyDeleteMy most anticipated FOX pilot, so YESSSS
ReplyDeleteFOX update on Deadline: FOX could pick up every drama pilot except for Studio City
ReplyDeleteIt's about deadly virus in a hospital. With a bunch of people inside and the other half on the outside and an epic love story between a couple inside and outside.
ReplyDeleteJulie cast a bunch of handsome males and thinks it will work
they did though actually
ReplyDeletehttp://deadline.com/2014/04/pilots-2014-the-latest-buzz-719997/
Deadline reports that Minority Report is almost surely being picked up, as is Lucifer, Frankstein and Rosewood.
ReplyDeleteOops I saw expense word didnt see its at the expense of LOL.
ReplyDeleteCool! Minority Report is a go! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHow do they plan the cram every show they renewed in then?
ReplyDeleteLet's make a realistic list
10 slots each week, roughly 36 weeks of television, 12 already renewed shows (Flash/Arrow/SPN/TO/TVD/Reign/BatB/100/JtV/iZombie/WhoseLine/ANTM)
this schedule is tight
Minority Report and Limitless have had very good buzz the whole time, they some like certain pick ups :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reply!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know! Later!
ReplyDeleteOver all CW went for the "big names" this year. Marc Cherry, "Julie Plec", JJ and the Flarrow family. Wouldn't be surprised if the show pulls off a surprise.
ReplyDeleteShannon has to be obeyed, so I understand.
I'll be away for a short while (15-20 minutes) so if the networks can sit tight and wait till I'm back, I would very much appreciate it ;)
ReplyDeleteNBC Have picked up sitcom People are Talking (via TV Line)
ReplyDeleteUpdate on NBC: Picks Up Comedy ‘People Are Talking’
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if Dead People has any chance in CW?
ReplyDeleteWow. Why NBC why?
ReplyDeleteLol literally seconds later NBC pick up a show :P
ReplyDeleteDeadline says it most Likley dead
ReplyDeleteNBC picks up People Are Talking, multicam comedy.
ReplyDeleteOh okay. Well we shall see. I do not think abc picks up shows according to their amount of buzz
ReplyDeleteA comedy, so I'm not interested in that one lol.
ReplyDeleteANTM will air only until like October, BatB is summer show, Reign and the 100 might become summer shows too
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. So,we are expecting 3 new shows from CW-Cordon,Spin-off & CDS?
ReplyDeleteFor CW standards big, I agree. Still I'm really not sure how theCW thinks to squeeze all these shows into the next year
ReplyDeletePlus: how are they going to do that financially?! Flash/Arrow/Legends and TVD/TO benefit from being crossproductions that share quite some expenses but what about JtV, Reign, BatB, 100 and all the others?!
I am counting with that, yes.
