“CROWDED”
No more sex, booze, and paying the bills naked. After 20 years of parenting, empty nesters Mike (Patrick Warburton, “Seinfeld”) and Martina (Carrie Preston, “True Blood”) are finally reclaiming their wild side. Yet when both of their two grown daughters unexpectedly move back in, and Mike’s parents scratch their plans to spend their golden years in Florida, their roost is full again. From executive producer Sean Hayes, this new (and very timely) family comedy proves that life is crazy with a full house, especially the second time around.
The cast includes Patrick Warburton, Carrie Preston, Stacy Keach, Carlease Burke, Mia Serafino and Miranda Cosgrove.
Suzanne Martin serves as writer and executive producer. Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner also executive produce. James Burrows will direct. “Crowded” is produced by Universal Television and Hazy Mills Productions.
“SUPERSTORE”
America Ferrara (“Ugly Betty”) and Ben Feldman (“Mad Men,” “A to Z”) star in a hilarious workplace comedy (from the producer of “The Office”) about a unique family of employees at a super-sized megastore. From the bright-eyed newbies and the seen-it-all veterans to the clueless summer hires and in-it-for-life managers, together they hilariously tackle the day-to-day grind of rabid bargain hunters, riot-causing sales and nap-worthy training sessions.
The cast includes America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Mark McKinney, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nichole Bloom and Nico Santos.
Justin Spitzer serves as writer and executive producer. David Bernad and director Ruben Fleischer also executive produce. “Superstore” is produced by Universal Television and the District.
I really like leading ladies in both so if trailers are good, i might try it
ReplyDeleteSuperstore sounds decent but I am not impressed by their comedies so far
ReplyDeleteJust stop with the sitcoms....NBC!
ReplyDeleteEven though I don't like comedies, Superstore sounds really interesting.
ReplyDeleteSuperstore sounds decent and I really like Carrie Preston, so we'll see about these. Depends on trailers and all. Sucks that they landed on NBC though.
ReplyDeleteSuperstore! Finally.
ReplyDeleteNBC needs to put Superstore and Telenovela in a block. Then they may have a chance to find a comedy audience.
Crowded sounds like every other NBC comedy that bombs. It's better than People Are Talking, but I can't see it doing that well.
Deadline also gave indication that it's done ordering pilots for now. So if that's all, then NBC walked away with Blindspot, Chicago Med, and Superstore.
Aaah that's more like the NBC I know... Another workplace sitcom..
ReplyDeleteYawn. Pass. Yawn.
Now I will most likely check out Crowded since I like Warburton, Preston, and Keach quite a bit.
That said, I don't expect much from NBC comedies....
I'm not huge on comedies, but Crowded sounds alright. Ill probably check it out if the trailer is good.
ReplyDeleteMy mock schedule is still alive!
ReplyDeleteBabar, you've been working hard today!
Both sound good. Will give them a try cause if their leads.
ReplyDeleteSuperstore sounds similar to trollied which is shown in the uk.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Patrick Warburton! His voice is just hysterical, great in FAMILY GUY
ReplyDeleteAt least they are picking up something. LoL
ReplyDeleteThese don't seem like ratings hits to me, especially Superstore.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing.
ReplyDeleteMaybe not the same, but it did pop in my mind.
And they should pick up one more, Strange Calls. If NBC went with People Are Talking over Strange Calls, wow.
ReplyDeleteYeah but similar concept.
ReplyDeleteRemind me what is strange calls again? Don't recall premise or cast?
ReplyDeleteSuperstore sounds quite fun, and single cam which is a bonus and yay America Ferrera
ReplyDeleteThis is the synopsis printed in Deadline.com
ReplyDelete"An eager young cop fears he’s landed the world’s lamest post when he’s
transferred to a sleepy coastal town straight out of Northern Exposure.
Those fears are short lived when he realizes the idyllic little town is
secretly home to the most bizarre paranormal activity on the planet. And
the one thing stranger than his cases is the eccentric local
groundskeeper who is determined to be his partner."
Nothing exciting...
ReplyDeleteI WANT TRAILERS NOW!!!
ReplyDeleteYes America Ferrera and Miranda Cosgrove. Among the comedies I was hoping would get picked up.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Miranda Cosgrove had show ... I may need to watch this now!
ReplyDeleteComedy?
ReplyDeleteReally interesting. Could be a funny set up.
Yes, it is a comedy.
ReplyDeleteHappy for Superstore... really happy!
ReplyDeleteI'll give Superstore a try, pass on Crowded.
ReplyDeleteAnything with Miranda Cosgrove in it, I'll be watching. Loved iCarly!
ReplyDeleteIf not done cheese it could be a lot of fun. Lets see if it gets a chance.
ReplyDeleteAmerica Ferrera <3 i missed you girl. Hope this works. Now give me the curse of the fuentes woman
ReplyDeleteI think because Strange Calls is from 20th Fox they're delayed (they also have Love Is A 4 Letter Word set up at NBC)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Chuck and Till Death lol
ReplyDeleteI actually liked the idea of CROWDED, SUPERSTORE sounds funny.
ReplyDeleteSo Excited to Crowded :D
ReplyDeleteYes, I have, lol
ReplyDeleteHas Patrick Warburton ever been unemployed?
ReplyDeleteAnyhoooo... they both sound like they could be fun...
I'm here for Strange Calls. One of the more interesting sounding pilots during development season.
ReplyDeleteNot until next week...
ReplyDeleteI got Community feelings from this Superstore phoro.
ReplyDeleteAnticipating the Black Friday episode on Superstore already.
ReplyDeleteSuperstore sounds funny.
ReplyDeletePass on both. Man, not a good season of interest this time around!
