Castiel sure cleaned up nice.LOL! This looks so freakin' good.Last episode really got me excited about this show again after a very long time :-) They better not touch Castiel or Crowley!
I get what you're saying but blood surpasses everything. This kind of emotion is really frustrating & inspiring at the same time and it's why i fell in the love with the show in the first place. They both will always try to save each other time and again. That being said,i'm currently pissed at Dean for Saying those harsh words to Sam and beating up Castiel. It'll take some time to get over that.
So does Dean beat up Sam a little? A couple of the pictures Sam doesn't have blood on his face and then later he does. Plus there is the one picture that looks like Dean's "telling" Sam to stay down.
I don't think it's a facing off. Looking at these pictures and after watching the extended promo, I think we can guess Dean kills innocents among bad guys, and in a sudden moment of clarity, he sees what he is doing (punching the mirror, destroying the motel room) and asks Death to remove the MoC. Death says he'll do it if Dean reaps Sam, since he messed up the natural order again, saving his brother in S9 premiere (Death was ready to reap Sam then). Sam will try to reach out to Dean while Rowena is preparing the spell to remove the mark. Crowley and Castiel somehow help her out (hence Castiel asking Crowley for help). Sam asks his brother to stop and tries to convince him he found the cure, then the battle between them ensues. From here we have some possible outcomes:
1- We can see Death watching them. Maybe he freezes Sam and asks Dean to reap his brother already. Or when Dean is almost doing it, the spell is cast and something happens to him or Sam. 2 - Jim Michaels said we will see God. maybe God kills Death.
WTH! Cas and Crowley working together again, and off in a separate story. pfff. Love the bar, or whatever that is the brothers are in. Welcome Julian Richings any time on my screen. I am excited for the finale, and I hope next year the writers focus on a story for the brothers than isn't shown in a 3-episode arc at the end of the season.
I can't see Dean reaping Sam because Jared was the one crrying the most in this eps so I am guessing Dean goes with Death or about to and then the spell does something to Dean.
You're right, I hadn't taken a close look at all the pictures. Crowley is there to help. Which is laughable after what he said last episode, but who cares.
Still, I'd actually prefer Rowena and Crowley would try to kill each other (and succeed at that), since all their interactions in this season have been absolutely unbearable for me.
So this story does not interest me one bit. Carver wants to make Supernatural an ensemble show, but compartmentalizing each storyline is not the way to do it. Because the moment you have a storyline that involves the "B Team" only, it becomes boring as hell.
If the spell is for the mark and now death is in play and death came to dean I think the spell will do some thing to dean and Sam's death or near death in s9 did not throw off natural order that started with dean way back in Faith and or episode dad sold soulmformdean so dean threw off natural order way before Sam. guessing S11 bring dean back from whatever the spell will do to him
I don't know why everyone is so "Meh" on the Crowley/Cas/Rowena story...... I think it'll be great to see. Then again... I am a Crowley/Cas shipper so.... lol
Crowley and Cass scenes ? Anytime. Throw Rowena into the mix and the dynamic changes completely, with the mother/son relationship taking too much place. It basically becomes Crowley/Rowena scenes, with Castiel being here only because they don't know where else to put him.
Perhaps having Rowena there won't be so over the top! Ruth Connell has really improved the character since her debut. Hopefully they don't make these scenes just about Crowley and Rowena! Hopefully Cas puts his foot down before the two of them have a yelling match!
I think she improved only because she's not with Crowley anymore, and her theatrics would seem completely out of place with other characters. I think she's a brilliant actress actually. What she's asked to do, she does well. But the interpretation that the writers and directors went for with Rowena is horribly off-putting.
They are supposed to fight in the finale, given that Dean beat Cas up pretty easily, took out Cain and has taken out much bigger threats than Sam and may possibly even kill Death (who is supossed to be the only being that is powerful enough to kill God) its pretty obvious Sam is so going to get the shit beaten out of him. It wont be so much a fight than a beat down, I dont think Sam will even get a single hit in. That pic looks like Dean has hit Sam, he's fallen to the ground and the Death has shown up and they've both turned to look at him. I dont see Death being a threat to Sam directly so Dean wouldnt need to tell Sam to 'stay down' its more likely the biggest threat to Sam in the finale is Dean. I still think Dean will agree to reap Sam in order to get rid of the MOC. Besides it doesnt seem like Dean will have Sam's safety and best interests at heart in the finale more a Cain and Abel scenario where Dean thinks he knows better and is doing the right thing but actually isnt.
Do you mean that he might survive, fending off every enemy they've made in last 10 years while slowly drinking himself to death? Maybe - but I wouldn't call it "better off" - nor would Sam
Or do you think Sam can still find his "apple-pie" life, get married and settle down and have kids and not spend every moment looking over his shoulder for some monster gunning for him? Because we all know that where hunting is concerned, there is no out.
Or do you think he should keep hunting without Dean? I fail to see how that has him better off.
Sam has made peace with the fact that hunting is his life - but having a brother to hunt with is what makes him happy. As happy as he can be after everything, that is. That's why I don't think he is better off without Dean.
other guesses -Cas gives up his grace for the spell -not sure how Crowley can help other than be the ne to make sure Rowena isnt up to no good and keep her in check/no double crosses -Death will remove the MOC if Dean reaps Sam -Cas pops in with the cure just in time/before Dean kills Sam -the big oh shit moment is either Dean isnt actually cured Rowena has tricked them he kills either Cas or Death or both OR Dean is cured but Death reaps Dean or wants him to replace him or something OR Rowena or Crowley come in all big bad and dangerous thanks to the book None of the scenarios I can come up with really affect Sam or involve Sam other than him being the whipping boy pysically and mentally. Dont know how Dean's descion really affects Sam or how its all going to end up changing Sam though, seems more likely Carver and crew have exaggerated Sam's role in it all. Also if Jared cried in the finale it will likely be because something happened to Dean which sort of suggests it will end up being a repeat of season 9 finale. I wonder though if Dean becomes Death like some want/have predicted will Sam then pair up with Cas to hunt instead next season? Big shocker would be Dean gets the cure then turns around and kills Sam anyway.
How does any of that affect Sam? How is any of this supposed to change Sam? I cant fit any of the theories I've read so far into Jensen's spoilers. Wont we just be back to Sam having to save Dean again? Also if Dean is now a reaper or whatever then he and Sam cant hunt together anymore in fact why would Sam need to hunt anymore when Dean could just reap all the baddies? The premise of the show changes I guess, could happen.
I think its a case of Sam is damned if he does and damned if he doesnt. If he doesnt cure Dean he will have let him down again and if he does then it will likely still lead to Sam being blamed/lambasted for anything and everything. Its unlikely that Sam will cure Dean and everything will just be ok and the Charlie thing will just be forgotten, or the lying, or working with Rowena. The good that Sam does will be overlooked. Its not going to end well for Sam even if Dean is cured. I get what you're saying though for Sam just hunting day in day out with Dean is enough for him. He doesnt need normal or a family or friends of his own he'll be content just to be happy that Dean is happy. Its no way to live really but its the best Sam is going to get so he will take it. Not looking forward to another season of Poor Dean his life sucks and Sam is to blame for everything. Sam's storyline next season when they get around to telling it will likely be him trying to atone for this season (Charlie/saveing or not saving Dean/using the book/lying).
I think its a case of Sam is damned if he does and damned if he doesnt. There are quite a few other possibilities.
1. Sam tries his best to figure out a cure, but he can't or he is too late and Dean is cured some other way. He can't be damned for trying and he can't be damned for the consequences.
2. Sam figures out a cure that doesn't have any far-reaching or bloody consequences. Like Dean did when he brought Sam's soul back.
3. Sam figures out a cure that has consequences only for him. He won't be blamed/lambasted for sacrificing himself for his brother. Like Dean back in season 2.
4. Sam figures out a cure and the cure does have consequences, but he finds a way to stop or reverse those consequences before its too late.
So no, Sam isn't damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
Both have said in cons that like swan song but guessing cure for mark will change dean before he can do what death wants because Jared hinted something can happen to dean but you will still see Jensen
I didn't have time to read the tweets relating to Jim's panels (besides third hand reports of his disagreement with how Charlie was handled) so it's news to me too. My guess is the last few minutes include a variation of Dean and Sam leave Death's presence - maybe Dean even kills Death. 2) As they're driving they see something (related to the new special effects in the last scenes) and they run Baby into a ditch. They get out and attempt (or do) to push the car out. 3) The 'special effect' turns out to be God and he's ... I don't know what emotion. If Dean has killed Death there would be consequences - maybe he punishes Dean by making him be a Reaper. Maybe the Spell worked 'in meantime' and there will be 'biblical consequences' for Sam and Cas (Cas might have his Grace stripped again as dietcokebreak speculated, I don't know what happens to Sam). If this script is the best Jensen says he read in years then all four regulars should end up cliffhung, not just Dean again. For Sam (and Cas's) 'storyline sake' the entire "Sam works with evil witch Rowena and talks Cas and Charlie into supporting his plan because they all want to 'cure' Dean of the MoC" will be less than worthless filler if that storyline has no payoff, even a negative one. If show had no intentions of continuing that storyline Sam would have 'shut it down' like he promised Dean in 10.22, even if he received Charlie's email.
Lol, too, - that's not the smaller sickle that Crowley identified as 'Death's Own' ' in 5.21.. (maybe) capable of killing Death himself" - that's not exact dialog. Still Crowley thought at the time (5.21) that the sickle might be capable of killing Death himself. We do know that Alastair killed one regular Reaper in 4.15 Death Takes a Holiday with what looked exactly like the sickle Crowley handed to Dean.
He wouldn't be able to kill death. If you remember when the brothers were facing War, he told them "you can't kill war." The same holds true, even more so with Death, everything dies eventually, except death. Death is a primal force, that has always and will always exist. The universe breaks down without death.
More of the size to lop Dean's whole arm off - no CW Magic Cream to cover that wound unless Dean's left any of the 'Frankensteen's' alive to sew on a new arm. lol
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Castiel sure cleaned up nice.LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so freakin' good.Last episode really got me excited about this show again after a very long time :-)
They better not touch Castiel or Crowley!
Crowley, off was a part of you sad to see him come back as an enemy instead of frenemy?
ReplyDeleteI loved to see bad a$$ Crowley.
ReplyDeleteNo idea why Sam hangs around Dean he will be the death of him.
ReplyDeleteCoz he's his brother and he will try to save him no matter what.
ReplyDeleteScream queens 3 min extended trailer out gys!
ReplyDeleteRight fat lot of good that has done Sam so far.
ReplyDeleteI get what you're saying but blood surpasses everything.

ReplyDeletelove isnt always rational
ReplyDeleteDeath wants Dean to reap Sam
ReplyDeleteIs this sort a parallel to the season premiere? Because I could have sworn Dean was wearing the same clothes back then too.
ReplyDeleteThat overgrown scythe has me dying over here, lol.
ReplyDeleteIt looks more blood spray than bloody pulp.
ReplyDeletePretty sure a lot of people told Dean the same thing when it came to Sam - no, wait, they all told him to do the opposite.
ReplyDeleteJared and Jensen both said that there will be a huge fight between Sam and Dean. :(
ReplyDeleteThis episode will devastate me even more than last night. :'(
I think diving the finale in two separate plots is a terrible idea.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to watching Dean, Sam and Death. Rowena and Crowley facing off with Castiel playing second fiddle, though ? Yeah, no thanks.
I will take the fight over actually having him kill his brother. Just no!!! In I wonder if the twist is killing Death.
ReplyDeletedear god this finale has me worried to death lol
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's a facing off. ReplyDeleteDean reaps himself with Deaths Sickle; the weapon that could kill anything?
