  1. I can't believe I'm still watching this, lol. Bash is basically the only reason.

  3. i find this story very interesting and different from what we saw the previews season! Yes i understand that Mary and Francis fans are not happy but this is a show let's just enjoy the plot and see what will happen!!

  4. I think Mary is pretending that she's pregnant. SHE CAN'T HAVE CHILD WITH CONDE.

  5. I started watching this again for Bash/Kenna, but the writers ruined even that :D

  6. I don't know if she's pretending but I think its likely. She's lying to him about still seeing a future for them. Based on the synopsis for the finale she's trying to take down him and his cause from the inside, how it'll end I don't know but I can't wait to see!

  7. Mary is back at the castle... Conde probably dead

  8. Before we jump to conclusions, how do we know she's actually pregnant. Next episode, she has some big plan to take him down. We know that Mary would put Francis' life in jeopardy.

  9. Mary's obviously not going to be pregnant. It'll all be a plot to stop Conde. She'll probably end up killing Conde herself. Which is so annoying. Honestly, I am fed up with this show twisting every little historical detail to try and make Mary look like this ultra capable, savvy Queen - she wasn't. Francis was a pathetic King too. I have no idea why Reign picked these historical figures as a basis for the characters they seem to want them to be. They're trying to put a square peg in a round hole so much with those two - and it is the ultimate source of all the show's problems. I don''t mind a bit of inaccuracy in historical drama. But,they wouldn't have to mess with history as much if they'd picked more appropriate historical figures. Then show would make much more sense because the ridiculous writing acrobats they do to try and make Francis and Mary these wonderful monarchs is what's tearing the show down and why it makes little to no sense. Why couldn't Conde die for his religion as a result of the incompetent Valois not being able to manage religious tensions as in real life?

Speaking of monarchs that would have been much more appropriate: Elizabeth. What is going on with her in this promo? She looks like a villain from Once Upon a Time. Shame that the most legendary figure of the age be reduced to that just to prop up their obnoxious take on the Queen of Scots. They did this to Diane de Poitiers too (who was amazing) and they have the nerve to say they're a feminist show?

  10. Holy crap, you are so dead on about Elizabeth. I was thinking a slimmed out and beautified Queen of Hearts but your description is just as apropos.

  11. If only you were writing the show! Brilliant sypnosis of what could have been from the beginning!

  12. the lack of chemistry between AK and TC killed the Mary/Bash angle. They would have had to cast someone she actually had sexual chemistry with for that role. AK ended up having more chemistry with TR which was a surprise because they were not even chemistry tested together

  13. Then they should have cast better then. But, I straight up think it was a huge mistake for Francis not to be sickly. It's one of the reasons the show is so confused and unbalances. Although, as I've said before I consider all the choices they've made in terms of the characters and history to be mistakes, frankly. Although, I could perhaps see why initially Mary's time in France may seem attractive.

  14. it's the cw. they would never have their female lead married to a sickly boy.

  15. Although i love Reign the writers are the WORST EVER!!!!!!!!!! WTF... their plots line are ....ew!!!!! Come one!! Try better!!!!!

  16. Yeap, I agreed. She is faking it based on the synopsis. I think may be they will locked her up in the tower next season? That's what really happened. Or is too sad and boring??

  17. Mary has become some naive. I was in love with her character and I understand what the character has gone through but I truly dislike how they have turned her character into a lost soul. She annoys me now. I only keep watching bc of the other little stories and hope Mary will regain the bold stronghold character. Whether she is lying or not scheming to help France or not I jus hope season 3 is more worth watching than season 2

  18. They are clearly not following history...it has been said from the beginning and from the actors themselves....Why would we want it to follow history? When you would know exactly what would happen next? I think Torrance himself said if you want History watch the History channel. :) Just saying

  19. The Chemistry between Mary and Francis is unbeatable. They are on fire together on screen. Conde looked to me so fake and Bash and her just didnt fit.

  20. But, the point is the history is far more compelling than the absolute drivel they're coming out with. I wouldn't mind if they were making changes, if it was improving the story (The Tudors didn't especially bother me,I'm not an accuracy snob), but, the story lines are crap. The reason these stories are told again and again is because they're great stories, even if we already know the ending. Plus, they're continuing to throw important , brave and wonderful historical figures under the bus to prop up this insane take on a very sickly, weak willed boy King and a woman who's reign was tantamount to a car crash.

  21. Just me or Conde doesn´t seem happy about the kid?
