Metered Market Wednesday Ratings
Victory for the Eye Net, but “CSI: Cyber” is a Weak Link
Wednesday 5/06/15
Household
Rating/Share
CBS 5.7/ 9
Fox 5.4/ 9
ABC 4.5/ 7
NBC 4.4/ 7
CW 1.5/ 2
-Percent Change from Year-Ago Evening – Wednesday 5/07/14:
NBC: +47, ABC: +12, Fox: – 4, CW: – 6, CBS: -11
———-
Note: The following labels are based on the household overnights and are subject to change given the availability of other pending data streams. These overnights are your first look at the ratings and a precursor to what could lie ahead. And we take into account other benchmarks including the expected demographic ratings, potential DVR usage, the critical acclaim (or lack of) and the social media presence.
-Winners:
“Survivor” (CBS), “Modern Family” (ABC), “Criminal Minds” (CBS)
-Modest:
“CSI: Cyber” (CBS)
-Losers (excluding repeats):
“The Mysteries of Laura” (NBC), “Nashville” (ABC)
———-
Ratings Breakdown:
CBS got over the “hump” in winning household overnight fashion care of its Wednesday combination of “Survivor” (5.9 rating/10 share), “Criminal Minds” (6.4/10) and recent entry “CSI: Cyber” (4.8/ 9). “CSI: Cyber,” however, is expected to trail competing “Chicago PD” on NBC (#2: 4.6/ 8) in adults 18-49 (and the other key demos). And a loss of 25 percent from lead-in “Criminal Minds” does not bode well for a second season renewal. Chances of a final abbreviated season of parent “CSI” is a better bet than “CSI: Cyber” returning in 2015-16.
On Fox, veteran “American Idol” scored a 5.4/ 9 in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m., which was on par from one week earlier. But that only translated into 7.36 million viewers and a 1.6 rating/5 share in adults 18-49, based on the Live Plus Same Day data. Even so, it should be enough to return for a 15th season in 2016.
Over at ABC, there was nothing unusual to report care of 8-10 p.m. sitcoms “The Middle” (#3: 4.9/ 8), “The Goldbergs” (#3t, 4.3/ 7), “Modern Family” (#2: 6.0/10) and freshman ‘black-ish” (4.4/ 7), and on-the-fence drama “Nashville” (#3: 3.5/ 6). While ABC could leave the Wednesday sitcom rotation intact next season, look for some degree of change (which could include still reliable “The Middle” being moved to Tuesday).
Elsewhere, NBC’s older skewing “The Mysteries of Laura” opened with a fourth-place 4.3/ 7 from 8-9 p.m., which is not a good sign for a second season. And it led into a 4.5/ 7 for veteran “Law & Order: SVU” at 9 p.m. (#4) into aforementioned “Chicago PD” at a second-place 4.6/ 8 at 10 p.m.
The CW, meanwhile, had typical overnight results for its pairing of “Arrow” (#5: 2.0/ 3) and “Supernatural” (#5: 1.1/ 2).

I am too excited about upfronts and renewal/cancellation news that i cannot even concentrate on ratings. The season finales are around the corner!!! Also, series finales 😢😢
ReplyDeleteArrow is awfully stable. Does anyone knows what last weeks HH was? Marc didn't give any numbers.
ReplyDeleteI hoping it would stick around 1s.
In all my anticipation for Upfronts news and refreshing everything every so often, I kind of forgot about ratings news.
ReplyDeleteHa, me too! I am seriously refreshing every few seconds.
ReplyDeleteTHIS! My comment beneath!
ReplyDeleteIKR! I still have work to do but i am too excited!
ReplyDeleteThe only reason I hadn't forgotten is because of Arrow but they have certainly decreased their degree of importance for me ahah.
ReplyDeleteOuch! Series low for Supernatural coming up? Part of me wants it to be a series low, maybe we can get some new/decent writers!
ReplyDeleteThere was no analysis last week, but it was 2.2/4 two weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteSame here, but I think we won't get anything for a few hours. It's too early in the US, I don't remember news coming so early.
ReplyDeleteWhich shows are you most nervous about by the way ?
ReplyDeleteThis is how I follow news!
ReplyDeletewe, Europeans, will be sleeping when all the news comes in
ReplyDeleteI disagree with TVMediaInsight about CSI Cyber. They are going to drag that show into syndication, even if it means sticking it on Fridays for the majority of its run. It'll return.
ReplyDeleteNBC really needs to think about flipping Law and Order: SVU and Chicago PD next year. One week outside of the crossover and Chicago PD is edging out its lead in again.
Don't you have notifications on for when STV tweets something? It might save your refresh button from breaking lol
ReplyDeleteLast year I stayed up until pretty late lol
ReplyDeleteI for one, am not nervous for any shows :) but i want kingmakers Picked up
ReplyDeleteI would move both of them up an hour instead.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Unfortunately, I have to go to work early tomorrow
ReplyDeleteI overslept Supergirl pick up and iZombie renewal.
ReplyDeleteI had luck a storm was brewing outside so I woke up around 3am and saw the news.
Do you watch Agent Carter?
ReplyDeleteI'm not scared for any show this year, compared to last year when I had like 5-6 shows in the line (and lost 4 fml lol). But Revenge was canceled and that is my favorite show, so I guess I already paid for everything.
ReplyDeleteI am rooting for Agent Carter thought cause I wanna watch it in the summer.
No, I wanted to but then i saw the ratings
ReplyDeleteOn an actual ratings note, predictions for ABC?
ReplyDeleteSaw that and I remember I was overly excited and disappointed for it getting 0,9
ReplyDeleteI think Mysteries of Laura, hitting a likely series low, probably burned out its last chance of a renewal. Certainly, anything at that level can replace if not surpass it to lead a night. I'm also starting to wonder if, since there is no worthy freshman show renewal, should go ahead and renew Constantine. At least they could use the "demanded for by the people" angle which is commonly enacted for underperforming product lines.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it's certain for renewal, I would still like to see Person of Interest officially renewed and hopefully with a known end date.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Revenge has already been cancelled. Monday will be a very sad and hard day for me. I will watch the finale with tears
ReplyDeleteI don't know where in Europe you live but where I am it usually comes in between 10 and midnight, or it has so far anyway. I honestly don't know why I'm so excited for news anyway, all my shows are safe and the only pick-ups I want are looking pretty certain :/
ReplyDeleteI was so happy with that last Variety article, mentioning it has solid/better chances.
ReplyDeleteWe will know very very soon
ReplyDeleteI'm nervous about the scheduling decisions and excited for renewal news.
ReplyDeleteI can subscribe to that one as well. But I thin the end date is a very long shot thing to happen. It is very rare for CBS to do it I think, unless it is a result of negotiations with the cast coming down to the wire and sort of demanding that (Men, Mother). I certainly don't recall them ever doing it for a show as young as Person of Interest.
ReplyDeleteVery true.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one to think that we may get some surprises when CBS will announce its renewals for next year ? ^^
ReplyDeleteI'm actually thinking of skipping school on Monday lol. I don't think I'll be able to fall asleep until like 4 hours after the finale tbh lmao. I'm so sad ://////
ReplyDeleteYou can still watch it as it is pretty much close ended, it doesn't end on cliffhanger ;) And it was really good, I have a feeling you would like it. But hopefully it gets renewed. I am very nervous about that one.
ReplyDeleteMindy's up in the air fate has already made me anxious.
ReplyDeleteJap
ReplyDeleteUr white Avatar is such a throw off, always confuses me. LoL.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if CSI Cyber will get to syndication but S02 is a sure deal, I think at least.
Revenge is by far the biggest loss I am taking this year, yeah. Other big losses for me are The Following (not 100% dead yet, but more likely cancelled than renewed) and About a Boy. But I am quite nervous about Agent Carter, since I love that one and it could legitimately go either way.
ReplyDeleteSame here lol.
ReplyDeleteMostly series pick-ups, but confirming renewals and cancellations would be nice too. All the shows that I watch that haven't been renewed are either certain to be (NCIS, NCIS: LA, HTGAWM, Secrets and Lies), certain to be cancelled (Stalker, Battle Creek, American Odyssey) or could go either way (CSI: Cyber).
ReplyDeleteBTW, that Variety article was ridiculous in saying Battle Creek has a shot at season 2. If that happens and Stalker is cancelled, it will be the Tomorrow People/BATB situation all over again even though I watch both BC and Stalker.
Also, the Deadline article about Mindy's cancellation suggested Stalker and/or The Following could be moved to another network if cancelled. I think it will be a long shot, but let's see.
I will watch monday evening! I will have to go to school on tuesday though! Thank god, I have thursday and friday off due to a holiday
ReplyDeleteNo, I think so too. CBS is quite confusing this year, especially the two CSIs.
ReplyDeleteI will have to see. First i have AoS to watch
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you watched Mindy too. I love The Mindy Project. But it will be back somewhere and it might even get more episodes than it would have gotten on FOX, so I can live with this.
ReplyDeleteYeah, every time it goes below 1.0, it breaks my heart. It needs to go above 1.0 again! I told myself every week, but let's hope it will happen at least for the finale! :)
ReplyDeleteThis! I already stayed up late last night, but about 10 minutes after Supergirl was picked up it was midnight and I needed to go to sleep.
ReplyDeleteRevenge is the biggest tv loss ever for me and it will be hard to watch the series finale. Also, after i heard what happens in the sneak peek
ReplyDeleteyep, there are a lot shows in bubble... But they can't do worse than they did this year in term of schedule...
ReplyDeleteI agree, maybe Oliver appearing in The Flash will draw in some viewers.
ReplyDeleteFor FOX, I felt that Lucifer, Studio City, and Fantasy Life are their best betsto hit. For CBS, Limitless and For Justice are their best bets. On ABC, LA Crime, Quantico, and Runner. CW's pilots run together, and being mostly in the same genre nothing really stands out.
ReplyDeleteTo help their profile, I'd like to see these shows picked up.
My feelings for the revenge series finale:
ReplyDelete-Scared
-Excited
-Heartbroken
-nervous
Eeeeek, Supernatural! 1.1. Sounds... BAD.
ReplyDelete*fingers crossed*
ReplyDeleteLol. But no, I don't. Refreshing works fine and as someone else said, it will be a few hours till the networks make their moves.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the Battle Creek-Stalker situation is on the same level as TTP-BATB, I think this one is legitimately worse. Battle Creek's renewal would undermine any prediction methods anyone has, unless we include a rule saying that any Sony show will always be renewed, period. I think that variety article has to be a huge mistake.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE for Stalker and, especially, The Following to be picked up elsewhere and continued, but I think it is unlikely. Deadline always exaggerates the number of cancelled shows she thinks will be rescued. Very few of them actually materialize.
This is the last time we'll see these shows' ratings before we know where/if they air next season...
ReplyDeleteI know i have said it once but i love your profile pic! Connar is so awesome and eye candy!
ReplyDeleteDon't tell me, I don't want to know.
ReplyDeleteJap
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't know how CBS will justify bringing CSI: Cyber back
ReplyDeleteYes, very good ;)
ReplyDeleteYou really do not! i did not watch it myself but it was on tv line, us weekly and everywhere else. It really confuses the viewers
ReplyDeleteI managed to stay for the Super Girl pickup and the iZombie renewal but missed the Mindy storm.
ReplyDeleteI am on episode 11, season 1
ReplyDeleteI am not reading more about it. I don't want spoilers for the finale except for the awesome promo which I have watched more times than I can count. "Are you ready?"
ReplyDeleteI think you should not come online on Monday. I will watch it very early on Monday to avoid spoilers.
ReplyDeleteI would really love for Law & Order: SVU to be moved to Thursday to help out The Blacklist. Also since it has a loyal audience it should be able to hold up against Thursday Night Football. And even if it slips further, NBC could just simply announce that it is in its last season.
ReplyDeleteThe Mysteries Of Laura apparently has really good odds at a pickup. I can see why, while demos are low, there is viewership here. If I was looking at shows for a quick fill in/midseason replacement/in case of emergency, that's when I'd start to look at viewership. If a show is watched (at the lead off 8 PM hour), then at least it can funnel some viewers to a later hour.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to do that with a show puling in around 5 million in viewers vs. the 7 million The Mysteries Of Laura is likely to do.
I was watching about renewals and cancellations actually, but fair enough ahah ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you, he definitely is! I need Season 2 asap! :D
ReplyDeleteViewership is 100% irrelevant though. Advertisers do not pay for it.
ReplyDeleteHm... look at NBC!
ReplyDeleteI am not ready at all! i still have so many questions. In addition, I am scared and nervous because there will be deaths and even if sunil said only 2, I believe it will be more. I will never believe a word they say again :D if you know what i mean ;) are you ready?
ReplyDeleteGreat, you are getting close to the real awesome stuff! I can't wait for you to get there!
ReplyDeleteThats a better option
ReplyDeleteI will not go on the internet at all! Not even for ratings news
ReplyDeleteI think CSI Cyber is very weak, because it aired various weeks with no competion of Chicago PD, and wasn't able to attract a decent number of viewers, despite its strong brand. CBS should renew CSI for a final season and cancel Cyber.
ReplyDeleteVery true. But honestly, any show in that situation will be viewed as a loss leader. I'd look at what could help the parts that could help shows that could remain profitable in their portfolio. If The Mysteries Of Laura is selected in that spot, I'd try to target female 25 to 54 advertisers and see if they can be hooked. That way, at least with targeted demo advertising, the loses can try to be minimized.
ReplyDeleteI was actually quoting the promo ahaha, I wasn't actually asking you ahah ;)
ReplyDeleteBut yes, I know what you mean. I am still afraid of Margaux getting a happy ending while Emily is dead. That would infuriate me.
Yes, you should stay away. And you should probably even avoid facebook, I have been spoiled there before.
ReplyDeleteWhy NBC has to renew a new show? is there any hints or...?
ReplyDeleteAnd CBS should run the show repeat free, ending its season early. With it becoming so serialize, it loses momentum with too many breaks.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I also don't see any website positive or having MOL as having "good odds." At best, it is a "possibility", as reported by Deadline and Variety. Also, no drama on the bubble gets around 5 million nor will MOL at a 7 share. It's around 5.5 (The Night Shift's last total was 5.53) versus 6.5-ish mil for MOL. At the lesser watched 10 pm hour, that difference is irrelevant. But again, as Omabin wrote viewership is irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteI feel that is like trying to select something from the titanic that is already going down anyway. If the show is losing money to NBC, as I believe it is, it should be cancelled, period. I am a bit radical in that aspect.
ReplyDeleteJust like this season.
ReplyDeleteThis is tough for Us! Really tough!
ReplyDeleteI was a bit frustrated with them not announcing anything and went to sleep as I intended to get up and watch Arrow before going to school. I assume today and tomorrow will be really messy.
Upps :D lol! the promo is beautiful! Especially with that song!
ReplyDeleteUgh, Margaux needs to be brutally killed like *spoiler* was in the last episode. I mean that was really brutal!
The idea comes from the fact that it has been more than 40 years since a network hasn't renewed any freshman. I think NBC will break the record, but it is a hard thing to bet on.
ReplyDeleteI think the same but to me either they renew both of it (for short seasons) or cancel both of it...
ReplyDeleteI avoid everything when it comes to revenge, let alone series finales!
ReplyDeleteLet's wait and see, these news are going to be released very soon! ;)
ReplyDeleteMy mistake. Well in that case, I feel like this is the year of the bubble shows getting renewed. We live in a universe where even Battle Creek apparently has a shot at renewal (granted, I think that it's much longer odds than Variety is portraying). I fully expect some shock renewals.
ReplyDeleteIn the case of NBC, I wouldn't be surprised if they say we really can't decide what to renew since it's all rating about the same, and just give 10 episode or so orders to everything. They will filter them midseason/summer as needed.
Yeah it was. But I actually didn't mind the person that was killed nearly as much as people here minded, so I felt a bit sorry for that person. As for Margaux, I actually think that ever since Emily's became Amanda she has been a better villain and sometimes I actually feel the "love to hate" thing with her, which is a good thing. But I still hope they kill her.
ReplyDeleteYes for sure!
ReplyDeletethe later is next week (for schedule) I think there is a chance to know the renewal this week.
ReplyDeleteNo problem.
ReplyDeleteI really don't buy the Battle Creek thing, it has to be a mistake though. But I do agree with your general feeling that there will be probably some shocking renewals. I hope there aren't shocking cancellations from any of my shows to make up for those though.
Ouch, that's low. If it has to drop, 0.6 is OK. I can't take anything lower than that.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm enjoying this season much, much more than seasons 8 and 9. But to each their own. :)
ReplyDeleteprobably a 0.6
ReplyDeleteI hope my precious ABC night did alright yesterday. And ever since the Supergirl\Mindy Project \ iZombie news yesterday, I'm anxiously waiting for some more renewals today or tonight, especially from ABC and CBS.
ReplyDeleteI did not care that spoiler died either. Lol, I find margaux to be hilarious because sometimes she is really just stupid!
ReplyDeleteI really hope to know every single renewal and cancellation today! :P
ReplyDeletebut I remembered CBS didn't renew any freshman last year...
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's radical as I tend to agree with you. It shows how bad NBC has done in their scripted department. I don't think they have enough profitable options yet to not consider the assistance of loss leaders.
ReplyDeleteWhat was promoted on abc last night?
ReplyDeleteAhah I find so funny how so many people despise Margaux so much ahah. But I agree that she is quite dumb. When she actually thinks she is a match for Emily it is hilarious.
ReplyDeleteABC gives us May renewals Christmas style. They usually renew and cancel everything at night when everybody's not on the website and then in the morning when everybody comes on, POW!! Renewals and cancelations galore!
ReplyDeleteLol, in the last episode her in prison XD emily rules!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for a 0.7 again, but after these numbers, we'll be lucky to get a 0.6. :(
ReplyDeleteDid you watch abc live last night?
ReplyDeleteYes, but they renewed Mom and The Millers on the comedy front. That is good enough. Plenty of networks have had years in which they didn't renew a single drama or a single comedy, but doing both is the anomaly. I think they will just renew Undateable and probably/ maybe The Night Shift, which although aren't true freshman, can be sold out as being to the press if need be.
ReplyDeleteI doubt we know them all today, but we should know a bit chunk at least.
ReplyDeleteThe Middle: Nashville, Scandal, 500 Questions, OUAT, The Goldbergs, Billboard
ReplyDeleteThe Goldbergs: Scandal, Billboard Music Awards, 500 Questions,The Whispers, Modern Family
Modern Family: Blackish, 500 Questions, Scandal, OUAT, Billboard, Blackish
Blackish: Nashville and the same as MF
Nashville: Scandal, American Crime, OUAT, Astronaut Wives Club, Mistresses, Billboard, 500 Questions, Celeb Wife Swap, GA
I was so tired yesterday that I fell asleep before the ABC comedies came on. I have them on DVR so I'll tell you what they promoted. I just gotta remember.
ReplyDeleteW25-54 is a less valuable demo and 55+ people are too easy to reach, half of them watch tv. Hence the reason why a marginal 18-49 but young skewing performer like New Girl and a hit like NCIS demand similar money from advertisers.
ReplyDeleteOnce again thx :) I hope revenge gets a promo tonight at least even though it Has enough buzz already
ReplyDeleteThey are going full on with Scandal, which is probably a good idea. Weird that there was no love at all for GA.
ReplyDeleteABC should be the last one, as usual -.-
ReplyDeleteNo I fell asleep. I'm sure somebody else will tell you what they promoted.
ReplyDeleteAre you the person that used to be Revenge & OUAT?
Scandal needs that promotion.
ReplyDelete#Who is Foxtail
Yeah but GA was promoted everyday
ReplyDeleteit would be nice at least one from CBS today
ReplyDeleteWhat are your odds for the four possible scenarios concerning the CSIs?
ReplyDeleteLast year they did everything on Thursday but Last Man Standing and Nashville I believe.
ReplyDeleteOhh okay :D
ReplyDeleteyes that is me. Next week "Revenge will Unfortunately not be in my title anymore ;(
I think there was revenge but the local station cut in so you saw like the last second
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what to expect from CBS since they usually do the mass drama renewal early on and this year they didn't.
ReplyDeleteI don't see Revenge anywhere. Ughhhhhh
ReplyDeleteI agree
ReplyDeleteExactly. Targeting only the W25-54 would not make it profitable to maintain on roster for the WB or NBC. Especially with the reported costs of both the show and Debra's (reported) per episode salary.
ReplyDeleteOk, fair enogh
ReplyDeleteOh okay. Thx again!
ReplyDeleteWhat will be your new title?
ReplyDeleteThey haven't promoted it at all
ReplyDeleteI have no yet even though i should Start thinking about it
ReplyDeleteRevenge has enough buzz on the Internet. Did you See the youtubeviewership for the promo? The highest it Has ever been. It Has 813 likes at the moment
ReplyDeleteI feel very confused right now to be honest. A lot of people who tend to be right are assuming that CSI will indeed get the farewell season so I do not know. How are yours?
ReplyDeleteThe only freshman series on NBC that appeals to a valuable advertising demo is Constantine (strong male 18-34 demo skew), and even that is a long shot for renewal.
ReplyDeleteIf NBC is going to be in the charity business I think they should go for Constantine over Laura.
We'll see later today though.
I feel for you my love. Im a huge fan of Revenge and I've watched ever since it came on in September 2011. And even through its ups and downs, I stuck with it.
ReplyDeleteI like Revenge Forever. Heck, you can still mention the show for awhile, at least until the start of the Fall season.
ReplyDeleteDo you think we get NBC's today?
ReplyDeleteYeah i will see :)
ReplyDeleteI'm nervous to know the TMOL ratings, is the only chance before the NBC upfront
ReplyDeleteMaybe it should be something like "OUAT BETTER LIVE" or "BOW DOWN TO QUEEN EMILY THORNE". LOL just kidding.
ReplyDeleteExactly! But ir is ending with a bang both creatively and in buzz :)
ReplyDeletehttp://www.ew.com/article/2015/05/07/emily-vancamp-revenge-series-finale-captain-america
ReplyDeleteInterview with Emily VanCamp
LOL! Bow down to emily thorne is awesome xD something margaux should learn to do
ReplyDeleteI for one am keeping my title until the fall.
ReplyDeleteYou know that sneak peek that this website released, with Emily and Victoria in the same room making death threats at each other? I heard from people on YouTube that that scene is gonna be the small cliffhanger the show was talking about.
ReplyDeleteYou put have your title something like this
ReplyDeleteHTGWM and OUAT
Thx a lot :) nice interview. Her last scene was with nolan and jack? I guess they do not Film the scenes in order
ReplyDeleteI hate that their not even promoting revenge at all. I mean it's the series finale for gods sake
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to say since they don't have much (if anything) to renew.
ReplyDeleteWe might get some pilot pickups today, but the renewals could be pushed to the last minute, honestly.
-Sad
ReplyDelete-Depressed
-Sad
-Annoyed
-Sad
-Scared
-Sad
-Heartbroken
lol
I meant cancellations as well (they have plenty to do there lol)
ReplyDeleteCancel both of them.
ReplyDeleteCancellations?
ReplyDeleteHeck yes. There will be a steady stream of NBC cancellations starting today.
They promote 500 questions during every show. Must have high hopes for it
ReplyDeleteBecause everybody is asking, here are the dates of renewals, cancellations and series pick-ups in 2014 per network:
ReplyDeleteABC
Renewals/Cancellations: May 8 (most of them) and May 9
Series pick-ups: May 8
CBS
Renewals/Cancellations: May 10
Series pick-ups: May 9
The CW
Renewals/Cancellations: May 8
Series pick-ups: May 8
Fox
Renewals/Cancellations: May 7
Series pick-ups: May 5 and 6 (but Fox didn't have pilot season back then)
NBC
Renewals/Cancellations: May 9
Series pick-ups: May 6, 8 and 9
By all accounts, we should get something later today.
Thanks a lot for this, very helpful.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, May 8 is May 7 this year, as in Thursday. Worthy of note as well that CBS was in a different pattern last year as they only had the mentalist situation to handle and then it was just officiating the cancellations, unlike this year in which all dramas need renewals
Yeah, I really missed the mass renewals from CBS this year. I hope they will announce their renewals before Saturday. Last year, it didn't matter because as you said there was only The Mentalist. I think it would be better if they didn't do the mass renewals on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that renewals over the weekend only happen for shows with very tough negotiations going on with the studios or cast Nashville, Last Man Standing, Parenthood, The Mentalist are the only ones I can think of from last year and they all fit this bill.
ReplyDeleteNo that will not be the last scene. Emily vancamp said the story has closure
ReplyDeleteThat sounds very plausible. Anyway, in a few hours some of the networks will make announcements.
ReplyDeletelet's hope so ! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this, SO EXCITED!!!!
ReplyDeleteWill they leak the Supergirl Pilot like what happened with the Flash?
ReplyDeletei hope so :)
ReplyDeleteArghhhh I can't see anything
ReplyDeleteI think they really need to wake up next season.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean?
ReplyDeleteCSI: Cyber 1.2
ReplyDeleteLaura: .9
ReplyDeleteSVU 1.2
PD 1.4
bye bye Laura
ReplyDeleteRough night for NBC
ReplyDeleteBye Laura :(
ReplyDeleteAs usual.
ReplyDeleteLol SVU lost its crossover audience and then some
ReplyDeleteNice for Blackish
ReplyDelete2.3 out of a 2,9 for MF!
It really seems as these crossover have no long term impact for NBC
ReplyDeleteOuch at Law and Order: SVU.
ReplyDeleteThe only sripted show to break a 1.5 this week will be Chicago Fire. Who would have guessed that when it started three years ago? NBC is lucky to have Chicago Fire.
What happened with ABC at 8pm? Black-ish did incredibly well! The show will do fine anchoring Tuesdays next year.
ReplyDeleteWinners: Modern Family, Black-ish, Survivor, Arrow, Supernatural
Honorable Mention: Criminal Minds, Chicago P.D.
Losers: The Mysteries of Laura, Nashville, Law and Order: SVU, CSI Cyber
Cyber really has no business being renewed.
Hoping for an adjustment for Arrow!
SVU did quite poorly at 9. I actually think PD did well considering the lead-in it was given.
ReplyDeleteWhat did Arrow get?
ReplyDeleteA 0.9
ReplyDeleteOh ok thanks. Tied with Laura then.
ReplyDeleteI'll just sit in a corner and cry now lol. Sucks that The Middle xan't get advertised as much as the rest.
ReplyDeletebut it has.. ABC advertised the entire line up in 1 promo
ReplyDeleteWas last week's a bad episode? It is quite a drop. But maybe it gets adjusted up and it is a more normal 0.2 drop then.
ReplyDeleteBut it never gets its own promos
ReplyDeleteStill fine for The Middle.
ReplyDeleteNashville has horrible half hours. 1.4-1.1, that show is really wasting Black-ish.
ReplyDeleteneither do the rest of the comedies. ABC usually promotes them all in 1
ReplyDeleteNo, not at all.
ReplyDeletenone of the numbers appear. its mostly white screen. arghhh.
ReplyDeleteit really it is wasting that lead-in..
ReplyDeleteMaybe one of Shondaland's new dramas can take that spot. The other one can replace HTGAWM when that runs its 15-episode season. That is, assuming both will get picked up to series.
ReplyDelete
