  • Last Week's Final Adjusted Ratings https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=29964715#allposts

  • About the Daily Ratings
Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.

The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).

Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.

Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above (We also where possible now post the 18-34 and 25-54 Demo Numbers).

Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.

If you are new to ratings or still confused, we recommend you read this excellent

  1. The messangers is doing better than reign.

  2. Because it Has a higher viewership. Not that it matters

    ReplyDelete
  3. BTT actually built on ST in 18-34. Nice!

    ReplyDelete
  4. I feel so sorry for you TM :(

    ReplyDelete
  5. I think I got blind! The Messengers rose 50 percent in their demo! o.O
At this point I just can enjoy the ride. Lets hope this will sustain in the finale numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  6. In demo, they tied as Reign sadly adjusted down.In total viewers yes but viewers don't matter. It doesn't matter anyway since Reign is renewed and Messengers cancelled & CW never had any intention of possibly renewing Messengers anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  7. That's an insanely low demo for WLIIA considering the number of viewers!

    ReplyDelete
  8. I don't understand why ABC didn't schedule the ST/BTT for Fridays in the fall. Comedies could have waited until January....

    ReplyDelete
  9. Which is a shame, because they never gave it a chance. Reign should have been airing in The Messengers place and they should have tried The Messengers in Reign's. Who knows what it would have got?

    ReplyDelete
  10. I will never understand how a repeat of WILIA does better than an original.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Nooooo :( Poor TM.

The CW really fucked it up.

Also, the show was pretty unlucky.

The 2nd episode was preempted for baseball, and the 3rd episode aired againts the Avengers opening day.

8 episodes let. Maybe if it rises to 0.5, the CW will consider renewing it for midseason.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I keep looking at the 18-34 numbers instead of the 18-49 numbers...

    ReplyDelete
  13. And once again, I wonder why ABC won't use Shark Tank as lead-in for the comedy block.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Nope, it's done.

    ReplyDelete
  15. There was a preemption in NY, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  16. It got preempted again in NY for this episode, just checked.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Of course there was! Thx for the info.

    ReplyDelete
  18. You're welcome, I just found out.

    ReplyDelete
  19. It doesn't make any sense. Shark Tank/Beyond The Tank will do better and yet they are leaving ratings on the table.

As for NBC, while Grimm did manage to get to a 1.1, why exactly is this renewed? This isn't going to grow from this rating and NBC needs to do better.

  20. As crazy as it sounds, no one can tell an original from a repeat. They see the guest star and they think it's a new episode.

  22. With VD declining and aging and little promotion for Messengers and a difficult to sell to viewers concept, I doubt it would've done better than tidies on Fri or better than Reign. There a show in every network very season that gets that "kill it before it premieres treatment".Ladt year on Caw it was Star-Crossed.Year before that Cult.I think Czw -rightfully do-had higher hopes/expectations of IZombie and with Janes winning awards and Fladh being a ratings hit, they decided they could afford to wash their hands of Messengers. They also wanted to protect Reign for syndication.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Grimm, probably cause of syndication-it has a deal with TNT. I think and it was likely sold for 100 episodes

    ReplyDelete
  24. The Messengers has been cancelled?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Cancelled over a week ago, sorry :(

  26. Uauh thanks i did not know nothing. +
I just saw the trailer and seems good. I did not see neither 1X01.
    Is a pity.

    ReplyDelete
  27. No, they've already officially cancelled it and have too full a schedule even at midsession for it.Czws midsession will be:Containment,Legends,The 100,Whose Line though The 100 may be lupus he'd to late midsession-March/April -or summer

    ReplyDelete
  28. TM could adjust down too unfortunately... (and I wouldn't be surprised if it does)

    ReplyDelete
  29. It's better than it has been the last two weeks. Granted I'll wait for the final adjusted ratings before claiming this is indeed better...

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ah! That explains it... I'll expect quite the downwards adjustment then...

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yeah, I checked earlier and saw there was a preemption in NY from other people.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well thanks for passing the info along :)

  33. You're welcome. :).
