-Percent Change from Year-Ago Evening – Thursday 5/15/14:
NBC: +73, ABC: +33, CBS: -18, CW: -23, Fox: -32
———-
Note: The following labels are based on the household overnights and are subject to change given the availability of other pending data streams. These overnights are your first look at the ratings and a precursor to what could lie ahead. And we take into account additional benchmarks including the expected Live + Same Day demographic ratings, potential DVR usage, the critical acclaim (or lack of) and the social media presence. Keep in mind that results for any sporting event are always approximate.
———-
-Winners:
“Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC), “Scandal” (ABC)
-Losers (excluding repeats):
“Wayward Pines” (Fox), “Reign” (CW), “American Crime” (ABC), “Dateline” (NBC)
———-
-Ratings Breakdown:
With three repeat episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” in the competitive CBS mix, a night of season-enders led ABC to Thursday overnight victory. “Grey’s Anatomy” opened with a dominant 6.6 rating/11 share in the household overnights at 8 p.m., leading into “Scandal” at an almost identical (and first place) 6.5/10 at 9 p.m. The freshman season conclusion of “American Crime” followed at a second-place 3.6/ 6 at 10 p.m. While certainly not a hit in the ratings, critics embraced “American Crime” and the upcoming second season (which will return in midseason) will…a la “American Horror Story” on FX…feature returning actors in different roles.
“Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal” will remain in the Thursday 8-10 p.m. block on ABC next season, leading into the return of “How To Get Away With Murder” at 10 p.m.
In series-premiere news, limited Fox drama “Wayward Pines” opened at a modest (and fourth place) 2.9/ 5 in the overnights at 9 p.m., which was only equal to an episode of “Bones” one week earlier and 49 percent below “American Idol” on the year-ago evening (5.7/ 9 on 5/15/14). The only positive (and let’s see what the demos look like, which are not expected to be much) was no loss in the overnights at 9:30 p.m.
Veteran “Bones” at 8 p.m. opened the night for Fox with a third-place 3.2/ 6 at 8 p.m., which was 10 percent above lead-out “Wayward Pines.”
On CBS, the revival of “The Odd Couple” (which returns in midseason in 2015-16) ended its inaugural season with a second-place 5.1/ 9 at 8:30 p.m. Comparably, overnight retention for “The Odd Couple” out of the first encore telecast of “The Big Bang Theory” (#2: 6.0/10 at 8 p.m.) was positive at 85 percent. Next on the Eye net were two more repeat episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” (#3: avg. 4.8/ 8 from 9-10 p.m.), followed by the season-finale of detective drama “Elementary” at a typical 4.8/ 8 (#1) from 10-11 p.m. After returning “Thursday Night Football” concludes next fall, the CBS sitcom rotation with be “The Big Bang Theory,” freshman “Life in Pieces” (which initially debuts out of “Big Bang” on Monday), season three of “Mom,” and newbie “Angel From Hell.”
Third overall for the night was NBC, which featured a repeat of “Law & Order: SVU” (#4: 2.6/ 4 at 8 p.m.), respectable “The Blacklist” (#2: 5.2/ 8 at 9 p.m.) and “Dateline” (#3: 3.5/ 6 at 10 p.m.). Leading into “The Blacklist” next fall will be “Heroes” reboot “Heroes Reborn” at 8 p.m., and leading out of it will be new drama “The Player” at 10 p.m.
Also concluding their seasons last night were The CW’s fading “The Vampire Diaries” (#5: 1.3/ 2 at 8 p.m.) and sophomore “Reign” (#5: 0.8/ 1 at 9 p.m.), which is certainly not strong enough to be anchoring Friday next season. The best option for The CW on Thursday for 2015-16 in midseason would be upcoming “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow” at 8 p.m. into “The Vampire Diaries” at 9 p.m.

Marc trying to schedule CW. Lmao!
ReplyDeleteBoth VD and Reign rose in HH, I hope it will be noticed in the demo.
Good for GA&Scandal
ReplyDeleteDamn Wayward Pines, I wonder if it will keep ratings strong enough for a Summer renewal though.
ReplyDeleteVD looks up for the finale.
I really hope Bones still got at least a 1.0.
ReplyDeleteDid you watch yesterday's Reign? Yesterday i only watched Ep 21 and i thought it was awesome, best episode in a while. Was Finale great too?
ReplyDeleteI hope Wayward Pines at least keeps these ratings throughout the season. It was a really nice pilot.
ReplyDeleteThank god Scandal got rid of B613! Here is to a better S5
ReplyDeletePls no spoilers! I have not watched ir yet and was spoiled
ReplyDeleteSorry will edit
ReplyDeleteDidn't had time to watch Reign. Will do it soon, I heard it was good.
ReplyDelete2x21 was excellent.
Good for Grey's. Scandal likely won't see a 3 again except maybe the 5th season premiere.
ReplyDeleteNot surprised by Wayward Pines but Fox are pushing it quite hard in international territories so I guess if it does OK they may do more. Or is it meant to be a mini?
ReplyDeleteThx :)
ReplyDeleteLimited series
ReplyDeleteNo, its showed on FOX adria ads as Wayward Pines Y1(probably Year One)
ReplyDeleteDammit Wayward Pines, I hate that it didnt get midseason, it had a great pilot.
ReplyDeleteIs that good for TVD ?
ReplyDeleteWhat's the best HH of the season ?
The Odd Couple surprised me at the retention from TBBT R, I expected much lower. How did the 9 pm TOC episode from last week did?
ReplyDeleteLikely 1.2
ReplyDeletePlease let TVD & Reign rise this time....
ReplyDeleteI think the premiere should given the TGIT block returning
ReplyDeleteMarc should not attempt to schedule. The male leaning LoT into female leaning TVD would be comically bad.
ReplyDeleteThat Thursday schedule Legends/TVD will never happen, Marc.
ReplyDeleteMarc is in his own little world.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Legends of Tomorrow with The 100.
ReplyDeleteExactly.LOL!
ReplyDeleteHey, I saw you were having problems with the account, did you get hacked?
ReplyDeleteI really hope TVD hits 0.8 today!
ReplyDeletewell somebody made the point that thursdays are really the only 8pm slot that CW does well since if Supergirl is a hit over at CBS then its very unlikely that they would put ledgend against that and gotham so...
ReplyDeleteI expected much higher for the Elenas final episode.
ReplyDeleteNope. Some random troll impersonated me.I was on a 12 hour shift and came back to see what has happened.Pathetic move.Hope he didn't cause much damage.
ReplyDeleteI didn't.People aren't going to tune in randomly just coz Nina is leaving.
ReplyDeleteI guess people didnt like Elena too much, but wasnt Greys boosted by Dereks death?
ReplyDeleteGA is a much better and successful show in a bigger network. You cannot expect that here.
ReplyDeleteHow did WP do?
ReplyDeleteDerek was a much bigger deal though, even to non fans.
ReplyDeleteLooking by the HH,I guess 1.1 1.2 max, shame its a good show, hope it will be stable through summer.
ReplyDeleteThat would be nice.
ReplyDeleteFully agree. His death broke my heart.Elena's exit,on the other hand was acceptable.
ReplyDeleteSomeone said Thursday's 8pm slot is the only one CW does well?
ReplyDeleteI just watched the episode with Dereks death, and I was so mad with the scene when everyone is sent to hospital, he sits in car, turns just partially and tries to find his phone and then BOOM! At least he died as a hero,he saved them.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened? O.o
ReplyDeleteI didn't even get to see his sisters and mother saying goodbye to him, that's cruel, even for Shonda.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. i wanted to see Cristina or Addison.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great show. I loved Melissa Leo. I wish CBS would have picked up her medical show so I could see more of her. But I was hoping that the premiere could of at least garnered a 1.7 demo.
ReplyDeleteI just turned on the net and saw everyone was mourning my loss over at TVBTN.I was like-What on earth?A troll impersonated me and started saying rubbish, everyone was stunned/annoyed/irritated-who knows what else.Everyone came to the conclusion my account was hacked but in reality it wasn't.
ReplyDeleteMelissa Leo!! She was so creepy in some way, excellent acting.
ReplyDeleteI guess this person has never heard of Flash or Arrow.
ReplyDeletePeople these days! *shaking head*
ReplyDeleteAtenttion Ws all over the place.
I think they meant it's the only spot to put a DC show without putting it on Monday's against Gotham/Supergirl at 8pm. I hope that's what they meant.
ReplyDeleteShame about Wayward Pines. However, I'm not surprised as FOX never really had confidence in this series. Overall, I think that FOX is going to have a rough summer. And I don't see any new summer shows becoming hits, so the ratings will be dominated again by Big Brother, American Ninja Warrior, and America's Got Talent.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else exhausted after the Upfronts whew im glad it's over.... I think
ReplyDeleteTVD deserve WAY BETTER because this the last episode of neens !!!!
ReplyDeleteI feel like this is the first year that networks really mapped out their plans way before upfronts, so everything went as expected. The year round programming and pickups is making the allure of upfronts less important.
ReplyDeleteSo You Think You Can Dance might give FOX a ok summer
ReplyDeleteHa, our team is exhausted. So many press releases, videos, photos, spreadsheets that needed to be constantly updated was very tiring. Along with configured the image gallery, ratings database, main site links etc it was a long long 10 days.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me one thing related to TVD finale-
ReplyDelete1.How on earth Matt and Jeremy got into Elena's head. They are not vampires or witches.
2.If Kai's cloaking spell was lifted after he died, why didn't it happen with Elena? He cast both of them before dying so the same rule should apply to them, right?
3.If Bonnie dies now with say Damon's blood and then completes the transition as a vampire and then sucks the cure out of elena, elena wakes up 3 years older and Bonnie lives. They couldn't figure out this simple solution?!?
It was so good that I actually was able to feel the lead character's frustration. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. It was very eerie and creepy. One of the best scenes was when it was in the car trying to leave Wayward Pines and the road took him back into the town.
ReplyDeleteYes everything I expected to get picked up did and however it was some shockers like the renewals. And schedule
ReplyDeleteGreat job on that BTW.
ReplyDeleteHa thanks. It was a lot of work but the team worked well and for the most part enjoyed it ;)
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine what it was like but you guys did a great job keeping us updated constantly 24/7
ReplyDeleteThere was just too many plotholes in that finale to even understand, what made it worse is they tried to explain the plotholes by Kai saying "no loopholes".
ReplyDeleteThanks. We're fans just like you so it was great to help keep everyone updated as fast as we possible could ;)
ReplyDelete1. I think Caroline served as a link for them to enter that dream-state with Elena.
ReplyDelete2. Cloaking spells are usually weak in strength. They have a purpose that is limited by nature, compared to stronger ones that can outlast death, or in Alaric's case, his compulsion to Elena didn't go away after he was cured.
3. Loopholes. It easy to say one thing, but doing it may only cause more harm than good, just like how Caroline experimented on a cancer patient by having his illness cured via vampire blood but didn't work the way she hoped.
Wayward Pines is obviously a bust. I wonder how 5th Grader will do for FOX in the summer.
ReplyDeleteThey showed Caroline was nowhere near both of them clearly in the episode.
ReplyDeleteIt was appreciated. I loved coming to this site and staying abreast of what was happening.
ReplyDelete1. The same way Bonnie did, with the help of a thrid Vampire person.
ReplyDelete2. I would consider what he did to Elena and Bonnie more like a blood curse. But just as the Crescent wolf curse it should prevail. Also the spell he cast on Elena and Bonnie was bound by Bonnie blood, magical blood, while the other cloaking spell didn't had a power source.
3. Kai said he created an safety trigger within the spell and any type of trying to mess with it could backfire. I hope that will be adressed in S07, cause it really is a viable option.
Can you tell me was the pilot any good?
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched it myself.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Wayward Pines a one-and-done mini series?
ReplyDeleteWe all appreciate your hard work :-)
ReplyDeleteIf Marc had any say about it The Flash would lead into JtV
ReplyDeletePerhaps because Jeremy's a supernatural himself, while Matt was not shown holding her hand before he went inside her head so probably Caroline helped establish the connection.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure on that one, I don't remember anyone saying it was so I just assumed like every mini series it could come back if it does well.
ReplyDeleteI miss the anticipation of waiting to see the release schedule of each network. It was fun seeing how they compared to our fantasy schedules. And we got to decide what we choose to watch in the Fall by watching all the available trailers. It was a great week.
ReplyDeleteI hope Zoo does decently. It looks as if it could be rather entertaining.
ReplyDeletePerhaps more happened off-screen,it was implied with Bonnie. As far as Jeremy is concerned,he is not supernatural now after his tattoo disappeared.
ReplyDeleteOh it certainly could come back if it does exceptionally well, FOX would find a way to shoehorn in a way to create a second season. However I just figured this wasn't going to do well enough for season 2 to even be on the table.
ReplyDeleteSupposedly but M. Night Shyamalan is said to be open about the idea of expanding into new seasons if ratings allow it to happen. However, I'd assume the season itself would be self-contained especially with Terrence Howard and Juliette Lewis having other commitments (Empire and Secrets & Lies respectively) that would prevent them to pull double duty.
ReplyDeleteHis tattoos may have disappeared but his magically-inherent hunter skills are still intact during the few times he displayed them this season.
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe 5th Grader, too.
ReplyDeleteYa,he will be one seems like.Plus he works out,so there's that.LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it will be one and done unless it pulls a Secrets and Lies and rises.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting to hear, the trailer looked very Twin Peaks-y to me so I figured more seasons would be neat however the miniseries staple made me think that we wouldn't get more.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen it yet but aren't Howards and Lewis characters side characters? Could easily cut them....or replace Howard with Don Cheadle if you catch the reference :P
Yea, you guys do a much better job at keeping us up to dat than some ratings sites... •cough cough•
ReplyDeleteThank you for that :)
the pair up between TVD/TO next season will be fatal IMO
ReplyDeleteI'm curious.Why?
ReplyDeleteWho said anything about LoT going on Mondays?
ReplyDeleteTVD isn't doing well these days and leads into rather negatively rated Reign episodes.
ReplyDeleteTO on its own isn't doing any different from TVD. I'm not sure they're going to be a solid combination next season
I agree, if either of them hit above 0.7 regularly I'll be surprised.
ReplyDeleteI always figured that LoT would replace iZombie at midseason?
ReplyDeleteThey can help each other in some way and that can only add to their numbers.More crossover opportunity IMO.
ReplyDeleteWhere would Cordon and The 100 go then?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that plan will succeed, remember: TO and TVD won't crossover at all given Narduccis dislike of crossovers
ReplyDeleteHehehe.
ReplyDeleteI unfortunately spoiled myself before the show by reading the books' synopses on Amazon. I can assume that the show's single season run would cover a lot of ground just in case but will leave things open-ended (and a few key character deaths along the way) to open up a possibility of continuing further.
The 100 could replace Reign on fridays (no way Reign got a full season order) and Cordon...not sure. Maybe Crazy Ex Girlfriends fail and they premiere it there?
ReplyDeleteoh nobody its just speculation since they are unlikeley to move flash or arrow thats just leaves mondays and thursdays since fridays are out for a big show like that and also i can´t see them putting it behind either at 9pm either.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why create a spin-off from a mothership if you have no interest to utilize that opportunity in some way. It's idiotic and Narducci is a prick. He's so full of himself,i can't stand that guy!
ReplyDeleteI really have no idea where CW plans on putting them come midseason.
ReplyDeleteYup. Six seasons of bulking up and squatting yet he is still a disappointment in the action-and-stunts department. hehe
ReplyDeleteIs it worth watching? I mean...I'm generally into bingewatching miniseries but given the season 2 option now I'm not sure anymore
ReplyDeleteIt finished production more than a year ago and the cast has moved on since then. Safe to say, I don't see it returning either way.
ReplyDeletejupp i can see those 0.4s coming
ReplyDeleteOne of the fall shows has to get shelved-Might as well be Reign.
ReplyDeleteNah, not that fatal, more of a constant 0.5-0.6 run
ReplyDeleteI agree.it will hit 0.4 in the spring though.
ReplyDeleteWell, Klaus and Elijah are certainly stronger characters than any TVD characters. In fact a crossover would make little sense to me given their rather different styles and tones
ReplyDeleteDepends on how Ninas exit is affecting TVD
ReplyDeleteI'm dropping TO next season,so it doesn't matter to me either way i guess.
ReplyDeleteBadly would be my guess. They did a cop out and it was lame.
ReplyDeleteHe dislike it because the stories that usually end up with crossovers the first time with these two didn't seem organic and just felt forced and awfully random.
ReplyDeleteTVD/TO and organic SL?LOL!
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen the episode and I'm not hot on it either. Part of why I wouldn't want TVD/TO crossovers is that TO is simply the stronger show IMO
ReplyDeleteaka the Tyler episodes. Didn't feel organic at all
ReplyDeletereally? What made you leave?
ReplyDeleteI guess we just have to see. I'm planning to watch the premiere this weekend but so far, the reviews have been great.
ReplyDeleteThe departure of the originals destroyed TVD,for that reason alone i can never forgive TO.
ReplyDeleteI watched Wayward Pines and loved it, but decided to read the books first. Already reading the first and it is great.
ReplyDeleteI somewhat feel that they're moving TVD and TO to Fridays after ANTM finishes its run. Reign will bomb and might get the BaTB treatment. I can't imagine the ratings the two will get on Friday nights (Reign and ANTM) seeing they're already low. It would be wise to put stable, established shows in there (TVD and TO.)
ReplyDeleteThen LoT can take over the Thurs 8/7C slot, and possibly lead out to Cordon at 9/8C. The 100 might premiere by Late March.
Apart from Elijah,i figured i don't care about any of them or their journey.Besides,i also realized-at the end of the day,It's all about Klaus's Man Pain,i'm not here for that.Damon's man pain in TVD is enough.
ReplyDeleteAnd the random Bekkah/Klaus pop-out returns in S5.
ReplyDeleteWell...Elijah never really got too much to do on TVD and TO gave him more exposure. So I'm glad he got spun off. Klaus was annoying on TVD as far as I was concerned, always pining over Caroline while he really should have bigger things on his mind.
ReplyDeleteWho knows if they utilized Elijah like in season 2 I could see it the way you do but in some way I agree, I had absolutely no desire to watch TVD since the OGs left. Elijah and Rebekah are my favourites, I didn't care about any TVD character since I started to hate Damon and Stefan in season 3
I could see TVD/TO building a steady friday lineup for the future but to premiere two freshman shows after each other against highly well rated shows on ABC is a rather risky move
ReplyDeleteBex only showed up twice while Klaus and Elijah showed up once :P
ReplyDeletealthough the Elijah cameo in Katherines mind made sense unlike the Klaus-sex-only appearance
Since Smallville was placed there from the early years of the CW, yes until now.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it wopuld be possible to add the HH numebrs to teh table, just you know, for science.
ReplyDeleteTrue, it's all about Klaus being a dick but that's why we got Elijah and Freya these days to balance him out ^^
ReplyDeleteWell LoT will rate well, for sure. As for Containment, yes it might be risky, but I think Scandal isn't as strong as before, and they have different audiences so why not :)
ReplyDeleteTrue, however Containment (to me) sounds like the perfect show to pair the 100 up with.
ReplyDeleteIn fact once Reign/ANTM finishes I could see a 100/Containment friday line up
The first Becky appearance was, timeline-wise, right after TO's first episode so that acceptable. The second was just weird, but still delightful to see her. I felt like she had this mean girl facade going on with her back in TVD but that quickly scraped away once she was fleshed out as a character in TO.
ReplyDeletewell TO last three episode were 0.46-0.47-0.48 so that 0.4 on thursdays is a definite from me anyways but perhaps tvd can muster up a 0.5 and a few 0.6 for the fall but the 0.4 will happen in spring..
ReplyDeleteI don't like Freya. And Elijah cannot go back to that horrible brother of his no matter what he does.Kol will never come back,Rebekah isn't coming back full time anytime soon. And Haylijah-Vomit.After elijah pined for Katherine for centuries,he forgot all about her?Okay then.As i said, time for me to move on instead of complaining.I'll always have TVD.
ReplyDeleteAnd his parents, both adopted and biological, to see where his frustrations, paranoia, and vindictiveness are coming from.
ReplyDeleteAt least we go some sort of reconciliation between Klaus and Mikael, as well as Esther. As for his bio-dad, as mean as it was for Klaus to kill his werewolf father, it still hurts for him knowing he's killed the one father who will probably love him unconditionally while aware that Ansel was being used by Esther as a pawn.
People did for PLL's finale.
ReplyDeleteIf TV ratings don't get released at all, would we still be this much interested in the TV industry?
ReplyDeleteI found it odd, creepy, intriguing. I agre with you about the Twilight Zone vibe, and that scene in the car, I was, wht the hell is going on?!
ReplyDeleteWho was leaving then?No one.My point is One character's exit isn't going to bring back the lost viewers magically. This ain't Grey's Anatomy.
ReplyDeleteHis personality isn't exclusively his parents fault. His constant need to be "more" and more "powerfull" than others is a personality trait he created all on his own.
ReplyDeleteReconciliation wouldn't be the word I used, some semi-closure. Still he shouldn't have killed Mikael...
Ansel was...annoyingly perfect just like Jackson
But it's a big change on both shows. And people tuned in for the Grey's Anatomy exit too
ReplyDeleteProbably not
ReplyDeleteWe probably still be. Before I discovered TVBTN in 2008, I was primarily active in forums for individual American TV shows and we usually have no idea how they fare in the ratings (plus I never knew until then that they were measured by the millions other than percentages by Nielsen).
ReplyDeleteI still am active in one subforum for foreign TV shows in PinoyExchange and before that, I like to hang-out to sites such as Charmed-Noir, and forums for Korean soap operas. :D
So how was Scandal last night?
ReplyDeleteWell, one thing's for sure: We know where Klaus got his self-righteous attitude from.
ReplyDeleteoh that certainly comes from Mikael :P
ReplyDeleteAnd they're not even blood-related hehe.
ReplyDeleteNot for me. I don't watch too many shows but I check ratings everyday and discuss them with you guys, probably weird thoXD
ReplyDeleteGray's 2.2
ReplyDeleteScandal 2.3
AC 1.0
TVD - 0.7
ReplyDeleteReign - 0.4
Bones 1.0
ReplyDeleteWP 1.0
I am. And I am finally back to normal with real life work. Not exactly normal since I let way too much stuff pile up but yeah that was exhausting. It was awesome, but I think it lasts a bit too long. If we like to live it as much as we did, it gets crazy! But I love it lol
ReplyDeleteOdd Couple 1.8
ReplyDeleteElementary 1.2
Scandal WAY down from last year's finale.
ReplyDeleteBlacklist 1.5
ReplyDeleteDateline 1.0
Damn no finale heat for the Shonda dramas :/
ReplyDeleteI hate to say it, but B613 is the new Americon Initiative; it has sunk Scandal just as the Initiative sunk Revenge
ReplyDeletetragic all around
ReplyDeleteYup big organization are never a good move
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think people was over Scandal starting the second half of the season. Hopefully ABC has a talk with Shonda, about the direction of Season 5.
ReplyDeleteTBBT (R 8:00) 2.0
ReplyDeleteTBBT (R 9:00) 1.9
TBBT (R 9:30) 1.8
SUV (R 8:00) 0.8
Lowest Finale rating is the history of Scandal.
ReplyDeleteBad for the Shonda dramas. Almost no bump for GA and Scandal. ABC better promote the heck out of Scandal next season it it wants it to go back to the 3s.
ReplyDeleteHa lol :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
ReplyDeleteThey are a fun idea to toy with, but after a while they get old, and if you don't get rid of them in time, it starts affecting the storylines and these are the results
ReplyDeleteShonda finales depend on shock value but after killing Derek, there was nothing more shocking for her to do. Ana Scandal lost a lot of heat after HTGAWM ended.
ReplyDeleteAfter a long long time VD is better of in the 18-34. I hoped for a bit better numbers, but this is acceptable.
ReplyDeleteIt is strange to me because they survived with this for 1 and a half years and now is when people decide they don't like it? Just as comparison, in Revenge the effect was felt after half a season!
ReplyDeleteGA still the big winner- giving Scandal a run for its money
ReplyDeleteHalves 2.1/2.3
Those are bad numebrs for WP.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for VD to hit 1.0 but i guess that was too much to ask.
Look at Grey s almost beating Scandal. I was expecting teh finale to be teh day when it happened.
The Blacklist UP. That's nice. The season finale was awesome.
At least TVD went up,So much for Nina's exit hype!
ReplyDeleteThe synergy of TGIT will surely help, but for Scandal Shonda needs to drop the B613 storyline; there's only so much repetition viewers can take
ReplyDeleteFinales this season have been pretty underwhelming for the most part, ratings wise at least. Several shows got series lows if I'm remembering right.
ReplyDeleteSeason finale ratings bump is now a myth.
ReplyDeleteNo,Season 1 finale was lower.
ReplyDeleteIt really is no show has benefitted from finales
ReplyDeleteSeason was finale was a 2.4
ReplyDeleteWow, The Blacklist did not top any Dick Wolf show for its season finale. Heroes: Reborn can not come at a better time. It needs a lead in.
ReplyDeleteAs for The Player, it's really in a bad position. It's completely reliant on The Blacklist for viewers that will be completely reliant on Heroes: Reborn. NBC is severely overestimating the great timeslot that it gave The Player. I think it will easily fall way behind Blindspot, Heartbreaker, Best Time Ever, and Heroes: Reborn in the ratings within their new show profile.
It's pretty funny that Scandal's season 1 finale also got a 2.3.
ReplyDeleteGood for GA.Underwhelming for Scandal.
ReplyDeleteCan we all agree😀
ReplyDeleteGA still the big winner- giving Scandal a run for its money
Halves 2.1/2.3
actually it was a 2.3
ReplyDeleteI know, but the first half of season 4 didn't portray B613 as heavily as the second half and by now the audience got tired of it.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for Revenge, they leaned too heavily on it from the start and people felt the focus was lost; Scandal somehow kept its focus even during its messy 3rd season, but lost it completely now
It was a 2.4 in the finals
ReplyDeleteIt was 2.3.
ReplyDeleteMore like finale ratings slump now!
ReplyDeleteEven if it was a 2.3, it still ties as the lowest rated finale ever
ReplyDeleteYup. B613 has gotta go. Hopefully that finale did it.
ReplyDeleteGA is a 11 year old show still delivering over 2s rating. It is clearly the biggest winner
ReplyDeleteYou can look at the rating history here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1837576/board/thread/243579509
ReplyDeleteHorrible for Wayward Pines :(
ReplyDeleteGrey's is barely down from the fall. Scandal has completely collapsed.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the first half of season 4 was WAY better then this second half. However, I think Shonda focused on B613 this second half, so she can end it. Well, that's my hope.
ReplyDeleteIt was a 2.4 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1837576/board/thread/243579509 ALL final ratings are here
ReplyDeleteAnd there's that too
