Update 1:
Thanks to Richard Dower for the heads up.

ETonline: Janel, right away, what is the one thing that the fans need to be prepared for as we move into this summer season?
Janel Parrish: I think they need to be prepared that it's going to be a darker season than we've had in a really -- I think it might be our darkest season ever, actually! Basically what we're dealing with is a very, very angry Charles and the season starts right where we left off: We are still trapped in that horrible, horrible dollhouse. We will get out at some point, but when we do we will have some serious, serious emotional scars. All of us will have different things that we're dealing with. You'll find out what they are as the season goes on, but yeah it's going to be a darker season, and some darker girls are emerging from this dollhouse.
When the girls eventually do get out, they will have been put through a very traumatic experience. Are we going to see them deal with the repercussions of this?
JP: Absolutely. The entire season and probably until the end of the show I think that's going to be the lasting thing that these girls are going to forever remember. There may be some disturbing flashbacks this season when you'll see exactly what happened to them in the dollhouse.
When we finally get to watch PLL's premiere, what is the moment that you think is going to break Twitter?
JP: I think the most unexpected moment is actually right in the very first scene of the season six premiere. Something totally unexpected is revealed in a scene that has already been shown and nobody would have possibly known that there was another angle to it. But the scene will be replayed and something will be revealed, and everyone will just be like, 'Wait, what?!' I know I was like that when I read the script, I was like, 'What do you mean? What are you talking about?!' It changes everything. So I think just the first two seconds of season six will break Twitter.

Please put The Messengers poll
ReplyDeleteThe scene that will break twitter...
ReplyDeletePerhaps we'll see more of the video Spencer saw? With Mrs D and the baby?
I've put a message up internally to see whats happening with the poll.
ReplyDeleteOk cool, thanks
ReplyDeleteSo you don't think they're playing around this time, that they'll actually give you guys answers?
ReplyDeleteThey've mentioned that 6A is the end of the A story but not the overall story. So I'm thinking we'll get some answers but not fully. Theirs still Black Widow who was described as "Endgame" so I'd assume that will be the final story for the remaining season and a half.
ReplyDeleteYou should still take with a grain of salt though, because you never know
ReplyDeleteWith these writers it wouldn't surprise me. Though they confirmed that A will be unmasked in episode 10 which pretty much brings that story to a close.
ReplyDeleteI think they're scared that by unmasking A they won't a have show anymore, that's not necessarily true. Take The Mentalist for example they unmasked Red John and they still had an enjoyable show and they focused on the relationships between the characters.
ReplyDeleteThat's why they have the Black Widow. It's assumed that she/he is the one leading/causing the whole A drama since they're the endgame. The outfit the widow wears has been seen in the background of some A scenes so they are definitely involved somehow but as the final mystery.
ReplyDeleteSo they have a backup? that's smart i guess. They (before the pedophile was revealed to NOT be A) called him Uber A i guess they changed their minds and now call Widow Uber A.
ReplyDeleteApparently every question we could ever think of will be answered in 6A
ReplyDeleteI really really do hope it's true but you know what they say about hope...
ReplyDeletehow could they possibly answer all questions and tie all the loose ends they've left since the pilot? They literally have 10 episodes to make everything we've seen so far into a cohesive storyline leading up to the unmasking of Charles. Idk I think they'll answer the most burning questions: eg Bethany's background, Toby's mom, how Charles stole "the game" and then leave the ones that don't matter anymore. Plus how can they answer everything if there will still be an A after the timejump, they're going to have to leave some more for 6B and 7
the pedophile would have been such a great Big A instead of Charles. It was so perfect, I really wish they valued storyline over romance and the main ships. Ezra being A made so much sense and there were so many clues leading it to it they had the perfect psychotic villain
ReplyDeleteA is done after episode 10. No more A after summer finale
