POLL: Which new fall show are you most looking forward to?
15 May 2015
Blindspot Blood and Oil Code Black Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Dr. Ken Grandfathered Heartbeat Heroes Reborn Life in Pieces Limitless Minority Report Quantico Scream Queens Supergirl The Muppets The PlayerAfter watching the first look promos/trailer for almost all new shows set to premiere this fall, we thought we'd ask you which new show are you looking forward to the most. Since comedies tend to be less popular than dramas, we thought we'd make separate polls for them. You can only select one show from each poll.
Supergirl, Quantico, and The Muppets.
ReplyDeleteABC- quantico
ReplyDeleteFOX- scream queens
CBS- Supergirl
The Frankenstein Code (missing from the poll) and The Muppets
ReplyDeleteTFC premieres midseason, it's only the fall shows here.
ReplyDeleteOic my bad, I'll edit my comment.
ReplyDeleteRosewood is in the poll but not Frankenstein Code!?!?! XD
ReplyDeleteNone, really.
ReplyDeleteHow can I change my vote?
ReplyDeleteOnly one show? That's hard, but I went for Quantico. Others I'm looking forward to are: Blindspot, Oil, and Supergirl.
ReplyDeleteUncle Buck is missing and I'm watching those funny kids.
ReplyDeleteI'm checking out quantico and the family.
ReplyDeleteRosewood is Fall isn't it? TFC isn't.
ReplyDeleteBlindspot and Grandfathered I think, maybe The Muppets.
ReplyDeleteRosewood IS a fall show. TCF isn't.
ReplyDeleteLimitless (Drama) and The Muppets (Comedy)
ReplyDeleteGood point.
ReplyDeleteNot a fall show.
ReplyDeleteI'm checking out all of ABC's new shows except one and none of the other networks' new shows except one each.
ReplyDeleteQuantico and Grandfathered:D
ReplyDeleteHeroes Reborn and Blindspot too
What? Gah. I need to find something to replace Enlisted. I thought it started this fall.
ReplyDeleteI am excited about Limitless, Quantico and Heroes Reborn, but am most looking forward to Heroes Reborn.
ReplyDeleteFrom the comedies, Grandfathered promo was far above the rest, and I am looking forward to it the most.
Scream Queens!!! Then Quantico
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Quantico! Will check out Heroes Reborn and Scream Queens too.
ReplyDeleteonly new shows of intrest to me
ReplyDeleteCBS-Supergirl
NBC-Heores reborn
CW-legends of tomorrow
Doesn't look like you can.
ReplyDeleteMinority report ( saw the movie and it was good so gotta give the show a shot and it reminds me of Almost human which was a great show), Legends of tomorrow, Heroes reborn (SAVE THE CHEERLEADER, SAVE THE WORLD) are the only shows that interest me :D
ReplyDeleteScream Queens & Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
ReplyDeleteScream Queens, Blindspot, Limitless
ReplyDeleteout of these shows only limitless and minority report has me interested. but I'll check out some others too out of curiosity.
ReplyDeleteBut the only show I'm really looking forward to is Legends of tomorrow
Scream Queens, Quantico, Supergirl, Blindspot and Heroes Reborn
ReplyDeleteDramas: Limitless!
ReplyDeleteMinority Report, Heroes Reborn, Quantico, Supergirl, and may try Game of Silence
Comedies: The Muppets!
and may try The Gridner
Quantico, Blindspot, Minority Report and Grandfathered.
ReplyDeleteQuantico. Priyanka Chopra is one of my favourite BW actresses and the trailer actually looks good. I hope she works on her accent though.
ReplyDeleteMight replace JtV with Crazy... if the reviews are favourable.
All of my most anticipated shows are coming at midseason. This is actually a dreadfully boring fall, overall, aside from the fact there's lots of returning shows. I'm only really looking forward to Scream Queens and Quantico and Minority Report. There are a few things that seem like they could really grow on me, like Limitless, Oil, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, oh The Player.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward
ReplyDeleteSupergirl
Blind spot
The Catch
Frankenstein Code
Angel from Hell
Grandfathered
Scream Queens
Heroes Reborn
Drama-
ReplyDeleteQuantico,Limitless,The Family,The Catch,Scream Queens,Minority Report & The Frankenstein Code.
Sitcom-Life in Pieces,Grandfathered & Grinder.
Most anticipated fall drama/comedy are Quantico/Grandfathered.
ReplyDeleteLooking foward to these as well: Blindspot, Heroes Reborn, Minority Report, Scream Queens
Will receive the 3-episode trial: Oil, Supergirl, Limitless, Life in Pieces, Angel from Hell
Supergirl, Quantico, The Catch, and Scream Queens!
ReplyDeletescream queens, supergirl, the muppets, quantico, the catch
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of any of them. The only thing left for me to watch is Criminal Minds and Law and Order SVU. Thanks goodness for hopper.
ReplyDeleteI voted The Muppets! But I also look forward to The Grinder
ReplyDeleteSupergirl, Quantico, Oil, Limitless, & The Grinder. BTW is Clark Kent gonna appear in Supergirl?
ReplyDeleteNow that I've seen all of the teasers, definitely Quantico for Fall. LoT for mid-season. LoT for the entire season actually.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to: Quentico, Scream Queens, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Dr.Ken, Angel from Hell
ReplyDeleteWill give a few episodes try: Blindspot, Supergirl, Heartbreaker, Oil
The voting design is biased. Most people will think it's a multiple choice, however, it's not. That in some way explains why Quantico is with such huge leading advantage.
ReplyDeleteI will give a chance to three new shows from broadcast networks, but it's not like I'm super excited about them. It's really bad pilot season.
ReplyDeleteJust one drama is way too mean. I've voted for Quantico but it's pretty much a tossup between Quantico and Super Girl, with the two CBS dramas and Minority Report not far behind.
ReplyDeleteThe comedies is the easiest answer ever, I adored the Grandfathered trailer, one of the best comedy trailers I've seen!
If this was overall I would easily answer Legends of Tomorrow though!
ReplyDeleteWow only Supergirl. Oh well, I already have too many shows anyway. And then there's CW.
ReplyDeleteQuantico and Supergirl are the two shows I'm looking forward to the most. I loved both trailers. I'll definitely sample other shows to see if I like any. For comedies, the only one I'll probably sample is the Muppets.
ReplyDeleteSorry can't pick one. Really excited for Blindspot, The Player, Limitless, Grandfathered and Lucifer.
ReplyDeleteHeroes Reborn
ReplyDeleteThe Family
Blindspot
Oil
And maybe Quantico
A lot of them, i will watch most of dramas
ReplyDeleteBut my most anticipated are these 4: Oil, Supergirl, Scream Queens, Quantico
But i voted for Quantico because i thought it will allow me to pick more shows
Dramas: Scream Queens, Quantico
ReplyDeleteComedies: Grandfathered
But I'll try more shows than that, just not sure how many.
Unfortunately The Family is not on ABC's fall schedule, I'm looking forward to it too.
ReplyDeleteDramas: Blindspot, The Player, Heartbreaker, Heroes Reborn, Quantico, Scream Queens
ReplyDeleteComedies: People are Talking, The Muppets, Granfathered, The Grinder, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
out of the list:
ReplyDeleteDrama: Scream Queens.
Comedy N/A
Most anticipated:
The Catch & Scream Queens.
Oil or Super Girl
ReplyDeleteCode Black, Quantico, Dr. Ken and The Player are my top ones. Limitless and Blindspot are not that far behind.
ReplyDeleteDrama: Limitless, Minority Report
ReplyDeleteComedy: None.
I read up on a show THE ADVOCATE true story, looked very interesting...any word on that show?
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, this year i'll watch more dramas than comedies
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to: Scream Queens, Quantico, Supergirl, Blindspot and for midseason The Catch, Legends of Tomorrow and probably Containment and Limitless (depens on reviews...). I haven't decided on the comedies so far, probably Grandfathered in fall and The Real O'Neals midseason not sure about the rest
Wait, this wasn't a multiple choice list.
ReplyDeleteDramas: (currently looking forward to ) Blindspot, Lucifer
Comedies: Grandfathered, Dr. Ken and The Muppets
Quantico looks interesting, Scream Queens wound up piquing my interest, Limitless is one I will checkout.
This the first time in years that I am not excited about any of the menu items. Maybe Lucifer at mid season . Only looking forward to a few old favorites that survived the Grim Reaper : POI ( albeit in limited numbers and pushed till it snows again) , Grimm , Sleepy Hollow , The Blacklist , among the few. Then at mid season Agent Carter , X-Files, the aforementioned POI, and ,of course, next year's Game of Thrones. This year looking forward to Hannibal's return. Sorry, know I went off topic....
ReplyDeleteDramas
ReplyDeleteBlindspot (voted)
The Player
Quantico
Comedies
Muppets (voted)
Life in Pieces
Grandfathered
The Grinder
Only Sense8
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but all ABCs new shows look horrible. Can't believe Revenge got canceled so these could air!! #ResurectRevenge
ReplyDeleteMTV's Scream.
ReplyDeleteMtv Scream is not fall it premieres in June which is summer
ReplyDeleteQuantico doesn't look that bad
ReplyDeleteThe muppets are slaying the other comedies
ReplyDeleteCurse you, logic. You have foiled my plans again!
ReplyDeleteLol I thought you didn't know the premiere date :) my logic is terriblr
ReplyDeleteSense8 comes out next month.
ReplyDeleteRevenge was cancelled because of it's low ratings.
ReplyDeleteit would be awesome if you create a playlist on YT for all of these trailers.
ReplyDeleteI agree. But then why Renew Agents of shield which just got a season finale 1.3? That's the same as Revenge even though Revenge is in its 4th season and Aos in its 2nd. Revenge only needed 11 more episodes to get to 100. Isn't a 100 episode syndication better than An 88 episode syndication?
ReplyDeleteFirstly, Revenge has been sub 1s a number of times this season. It has hit 88 episodes, which is now the benchmark for syndication so no more episode need to be produced.
ReplyDeleteAgent of SHIELD is a Marvel show, which is owned by Disney, which is also the parent company of ABC.
Revenge was sub 1s because of ABCs rediculous schedule!! People never knew when it was on or when it wasn't on. Also the time slot of Revenge is horrible. The two shows competing against it were getting .7, .5 . That shows the time slot is difficult and that low numbers there are common. Why do you think Nashville got to stay on Wednsday? Because ABC relaized that moving a show from Wednesday to Sunday was a horrible idea and resulted in much lower ratings. If Revenge was still on Wednesday I'm sure it would have gotten 2s.
ReplyDeleteYou have a point with Aos but the head of ABC said that Revenge was a critical brand. You think he could have given us one more season ?
I fail to believe the "people never knew when it was on or when it wasn't on" excuse. There are TV guides available and people can check out the schedule on various sites online.
ReplyDeleteWell then I guess viewers are just stupid. Why would they not watch a few episodes and then all of a sudden come back and start watching? I also attribute the low ratings to the fact that ABC hated Revenge. This entire year I did not see one single advertisement for Revenge but saw plenty for TGIT and Ouat and Secrets and Lies. I think if people just saw a Revenge promo they would start watching it because they are so intense and exciting!
ReplyDeleteRevenge was a highly serialized show, people just don't jump into a show like that 4 seasons in just because the saw a promo of it. And ABC pretty much knew going in that this was the final season for Revenge, so why waste money on promoting it when they can use it to promote new shows and other existing shows which do much better in ratings.
ReplyDeleteBut if they had promoted it it would have had better ratings. I'm not surprised though because ABC really didn't care about Revenge. What do you mean by "highly serialized"? And why would ABC not tell fans this would be the last season? Wouldn't that have gotten some people to come back and watch the final season?
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_%28radio_and_television
ReplyDeleteThat's how it goes in the TV business. CW also didn't announce HOD as final season, even though the cast and crew said it was.
I hadn't realized how much people liked Angel from Hell
ReplyDeleteShouldn't Crazy Ex-Girlfriend be listed as a comedy? Not sure that one will be around long, a season of comedy stalker girlfriend? I am looking forward to Quantico & Minority Report.
ReplyDeleteRevenge was not cancelled because of its ratings. The abc producers watched the finale and decided that it was a good end to the series. If it had not been, it would have been renewed
ReplyDeleteYou seriously can't be thinking that's true, right? There is no way they would have renewed it at current ratings. I know American Crime and Galavant were renewed with similar ratings, but American Crime has critical acclaim and Galavant has music sales, apparently. Revenge has enough episodes for syndication, so there would have been no reason for ABC to renew it.
ReplyDeletei am looking forward to watching Quantico <3
ReplyDeleteABC : Quantico
ReplyDeleteCBS : Supergirl, Limitless
CW : Legends of tomorrow
FOX : Minority report, Lucifer(but i'm wary of this one)
