ReplyDeleteWow. I never actually realized how many shows got cancelled (or are ending) until I saw them all on the one list.
ReplyDeleteNone. The shows I did watch (the Mentalist, Revenge) had good runs. Gave up on the Following after season 1. Red Band Society had a good pilot and I watched the entire season, but it did not live up to the pilot. Gracepoint was decent.

I've had a very happy year compared to the previous seasons.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that I'm not going to miss any of these shows too much. Usually there's at least one that makes me hurt a lot... But not this time. Assuming that The Mindy Project doesn't get picked up, that'd definitely be the one I'd miss the most. And Selfie is second place.
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is a lot of people couldn't wait for it to end and now that it's gone a lot of people miss it. I guess this comes to show that you don't realize that you will miss something until it's gone.

Well that was on TVBTN, everyone still loved the show here. I am Glad though that i was able to let go which shows that the writers did everything correctly

ReplyDeleteI'm still mourning its loss. I know it's business, but I wish the networks would respect the quality a little bit too, such a wasted potential and talents. And it could afford itself too. Sometimes art is far more valuable than making a mountain of money.
The Mentalist, there is no argue about it.

& Allegiance. I really enjoyed this show. Luckily there wasn't a cliffhanger at the end! I liked how it ended, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't love to see more of it... :(

ReplyDeleteHart of Dixie first and foremost! Then Mindy and Red Band Society but Mindy is likely getting picked up by Hulu or someone so that ones not so bad. Parenthood had such a good finale and we knew this was the final season from the start so that's not that bad. Losing HOD will hurt for a while even if I knew it was probably coming.

ReplyDeleteIt didn't wrap up nicely. There were so many loose ends; it was insane. They slapped that ending together and figured no one would notice since fans forgot the story was about revenge and not about the "two ships that keep passing each other" irrelevant "romance" between Amanda and Jack. She ended it by saying, "In a story about morality, you'd think there wouldn't be a happy ending. Karma spared me." Seriously?! She just "lucked out" and all her problems went away? No, it was a terrible ending. They just tried to mask it with that last five minutes that they slapped on there.

Definitely Hart of Dixie. It was a fun escape. At least it got a proper ending. The other show is Forever. It was my surprise freshman show this year.
ReplyDeleteForever. Big mistake not to give that a second season, IMO. At least Mentalist ended well.
ReplyDeleteFOREVER! It was such an excellent show with a fantastic ensemble cast. Not as dark and gritty as so many other shows tend to be, but still tackling some serious issues. I really hope it gets picked up somewhere.

ReplyDeleteCan we please add psych to this list that show was one of a kind show that made everybody laugh and it was a family show that did the most amazing ever shown on TV they pulled of and amazing musical episode and amazing tribute to clue the movie and they even redid one of there own episodes which has never been done in the history of television psych should one of these options for this list of missed shows it even won a people's choice award it had the most talented and phenomenal cast ever this show is one of a kind and still is to ever PsychO (Psych fans) heart

Also Constantine, saw its cancelation coming but it could arguably be titled the best DC show. Lastly The Messengers. The show is sooo good but with a horrible time slot

With Agent Carter and Galavant renewed, there is only one show on my Most Missed list and that's Forever. Others include Red Band Society, Backstrom, Stalker, Battle Creek, Allegiance, and Manhattan Love Story. I'm going to add Sleepy Hollow season1 as well because they murdered that show in season 2.

ReplyDeleteForever should not have been cancelled. There are thousands of us all over the world who are truly saddened. We already have around 25,000 signatures on our petition and that's growing. ABC screwed all of the 'Foreverist' fans. Not enough promotion was done for the show and ABC put the show in their always troubled Tuesday 10pm time slot. Hopefully another network picks this great show up. So far, it seems that Netflix is showing the most interest. Anyone out there that loves and misses 'Forever' please call Netflix and voice yourself for the show. #SaveForever

ReplyDeleteYou should watch the finale, it actually gave me comfort in it ending. At least that I could rematch it. As for the song I listen to it all the time cause I love the song and it gives good memories of Revenge.
ReplyDeleteI was going to watch Forever cause the premise seemed interesting but then since the ratings were low and the fact that its now cancelled has made me change my mind. I always like to watch shows knowing that theres an ending.
ReplyDeleteI will watch the finale once I have time to truly appreciate it. I just can't stand the thought of it being the last new episode I ever watch. Can't believe ABC couldn't afford to give Revenge a 5th season to all the hardcore fans who have supported the show since day 1 and have fallen in love with all the amazing characters. Such a shame.

At first when I heard that it was canceled I was completely devastated and worried that this finale was going to leave me wanting a season 5, but then when i watched it I didn't see a need for a season 5. There was complete closure.

ReplyDeleteI only found out about the Messengers the other day (this show was not advertised and I almost missed it) I really liked it a lot and wish they had at least promoted it for others to watch, before just cancelling it. It had great characters and a lot of potential for good future story lines. It was a great show, but marketed poorly.
I don't watch Revenge and therefore won't miss it at all.

I personally thought it was cancelled at the right time, I just don't see how it could have gone on for another season and 4 seasons is a pretty good run these days.

Well, Psych is not on the list because it was cancelled last season, not this one. I agree, it was an amazing, smart and funny show and I miss it, but at least we had a very good ending.

ReplyDeleteRevenge ended because final brought enough closure rating were too low for abc to charge enough money for ads to make a profit.

ReplyDeleteThe Revenge fans on this thread are going overboard to the point that it's almost beyond annoying. It wasn't even that great of a show. I dropped it after season 2 and thought it was going down the tubes back then. Be grateful you got as many seasons as you did.

I loved the Mentalist, but I felt like they knew when their story was done, and I liked it all the better that they didn't insist on dragging it out.

ReplyDeleteABC made a HUGE mistake in canceling Forever!!! It's such an amazing, funny, beautiful, interesting, moving & SO MUCH MORE show!!!... A show with real imagination that spoke of family, love, loss, hope & the struggle to not give up on hope, but, still find it around you, in those that enter/fill your life. Hopefully it'll be resurrected either with ABC, or someplace else (another network, cable, Netflix &/or etc...). If it isn't w/ABC, they'll be losing a viewer, in me. I'll follow this show anywhere.
ReplyDeleteThe heart transplant bit at the hospital was the dream. But she did actually get a heart transplant we just don't know whether she has Victorias heart or not.
ReplyDeleteThey presented it as the dream, so I think we don't really know. If the show was picked up, they could have any of it be the dream and go on, with even Victoria still alive. I think they were leaving it up to us as to which part was real and which part the dream.
ReplyDeleteThats what the show runner mentioned he said that he wanted to keep the debate and its up to the viewers to see how they see it. The show runner said that if the show had another season he wouldve just had a random lady come up to Emily and tell her that she has her sons heart, and that her was wronged which would motivate Emily to help her. Viewers would've had to figure out whether she was lying or not.

I mean, I know the show ended months ago and the "pain" isn't as fresh as for the other cancellations, but it saddens me a little to see nobody thought about it here^^ I'm grateful we at least had a real ending (thank God they didn't let us with that horrible season five's cliffhanger for an end) but, there was still so much to learn about Neal's past, and Mozzie's... And I miss them all so much!

ReplyDeleteI AGREE! I'm only in the middle of Season 4 (but don't worry, I already know what happens in the finale. But I don't know about Season 5's ending - that should be fun). But I just wish Season 6 wasn't the end. There's so much that I'm not gonna know and it's so sad. What a fabulous show with a stellar cast! :D
