  1. Definitely the best episode so far, but I'm worried there killing too many of the main characters off. Good thing there getting hope Davis another established actress next week.

  2. Wtf was that?? I didn't expect to see "other worldly creatures." Lol (I'm joking, those of you who have read the books, don't tell me what it is)

Aww man. I'm so glad he's dead. I couldn't take him one more minute. After the car oil scene (or during it rather), when he cut the cord I said ok he's gotta go. I'm so glad he's gone. But that kitchen scene!! Very well done. I absolutely loved that scene had a very Stephen King feel to it. (I'm sure those of you who admire King know what i'm talking about.) I said HUH? When the Sheriff said they had a new flavor. I couldn't believe that. I just thought he preffered rum raisin. Lol Geez they can't even choose their own ice cream. Not only that, the new flavor was vanilla. Lol damn!! Wtf kinda place is this?? Lol I swear with every new episode the mind boggles. I'm loving my surprised expressions with the little details that get revealed. Not thinking/theorizing too much about this show has really made it very enjoyable for me.

I'm thrilled Ethan has reunited with the fam, but i feel bad for them now. And i feel like Theresa and Ben are going to screw everything up. But Theresa catches on quick, she knew something was wrong with that town from the start. I can't wait til Ethan gets to explain everything. And Ben i feel your pain dude. No Wi-Fi, no TV, I'd go crazy. BUT the real question you should ask yourself is, "How the hell does that kid on the bike know my name?" I would think he'd bring that up. I enjoyed his scene at the gas station though. That was hilarious, ""young son protecting his mother from the flirting gas station man." Haha that was cute. Him protecting his mother from the Sheriff...priceless.

Really loved Ethan and Kate's scenes. Kate seems to get more interesting by the minute. They really did a number on her. She really thinks its been 12 yrs. That is crazy. I'm hoping Ethan gets through to her more, b/c i'd love to see what she does next.

Great episode. Think i'll watch it again later.

  3. Best episode so far. I kind of hope though we see more of Terrence Howard. He was such a great villain.

  6. An OK episode, but there's one thing I just have to comment on: A Secret Service agent who uses his son's birthday as the password to his account at work? Are the writers really stupid enough to believe that that's plausible or do they just plain think their auidence is stupid?

  7. I still can´t find a word to describe this show - strange, odd, crazy? I´ll go with addictive, because I surely am addicted to it!:)
I haven´t read the books and don´t want to be spoiled, this is one of the rare shows I want to know the story piece by piece, as it happens!

  8. There's something weird with the way time flows in that town, it's not only her believing 12 years went by, Ethan also commented on how she looked older in the first episode. Maybe is a doorway to anther dimession? Specially with that creature we saw last night.

  9. I have no idea what to make of this show. There are some moments that require me to suspend too much disbelief but for the most part, the show is intriguing. Goodbye Sheriff Pope, you shall be remembered for making eating ice cream incredibly creepy.

  10. Something is definitely going on. When they showed that scene with the two of them in the pilot, when he was having that mini break down, I remember thinking "damn, what did she do? go back in time? She looks just like she did in that Bon Jovi video". That, should've been a clue. They made her look like she did 15/20 years ago on purpose. Besides, didn't Beverly said she went there in 1999? We're only 3 episodes in, hopefully we'll get some answers, or at least more clues, soon.

  11. She did say 1999. But when she was talking to Ethan thinking it wasn't the year "2014" (why WP is set a yr behind, idk) i just figured they broke her. lol

Yessss we definitely need some answers. I think we'll get some by next episode. Or at least i hope so.

  13. This was filmed quite a while ago, it was supposed to start in the fall, then in January, and now they're just buning the episodes off. It's such a shame, it's good show, they didn't even give it chance.

  14. What do you mean I've this show a chance? It was only set up for ten episodes from the start. I'm actually glad they started it in May, and not their earlier dates. Way too much going on during that time. I strongly feel they'll give a proper ending. Don't worry. = )

  15. There are three books, if I'm not mistaken. Chances are they won't be making the other two. I guess that they pushed it back so many times, that this feels like a burn off.

  16. Oh you didn't hear? They're putting all three books into this 10 episode run. This whole mini series, IS the book trilogy.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I didn't know that! I guess that explains why they didn't care when it aired, it's actual old fashioned miniseries. I though those were extint, whith backdoors and possible continuations. That's nice.

  18. Hmm. I felt differently about it. But I'm over it now. There's going to be a lot of big changes in the next couple episodes, (iI've been told) I hope not TOO big where i'll have to ask tons of questions and not be able to follow what's going on. I'll hate that.

  19. Well, I guess we're not used to real mini series anymore. As long as they tie almost all storylines in a nice little bow, I'll be a happy camper. I'm wondering wethere I should start reading the books, or if that will only confuse me more becasue they're too different.

  20. I have no idea what the hell is going on in this show, but I am so intrigued!

Another solid outing for the show for sure!

  21. Just watched it, it was so good! Another great ending.

  22. Well the first two episode were extremely close to half the first book. That i know. Idk about last night's episode. But if you want to read the books, maybe you should do it AFTER the show has ended. But i won't be reading the books at all. I'm good with the series.
