  1. Great premiere. I'm really, really looking forward to seeing Eva Green and Helen McCrory face off. Two fantastic actresses.

  3. So great to have the show back and an awesome premiere tonight I thought.

Madame Kali was so terrifying but oh so damn good (how creepy was that bloodbath scene?!). Getting to know more about her was great, love that we are diving into witches this season. And that final scene with the back and forth of Vanessa praying and Kali praying to Lucifer was downright fantastic. Vanessa will surely have a tough time defeating her. Also yay to Ethan staying at the mansion even though Vanessa wanted to fight this battle alone, she needs her protector by her side.

Is Victor a necrophiliac? Hmmm, sure seems like it with the way he was caressing Brona's corpse for a moment there. I wonder if he will fall in love with her in the future now that she has been resurrected...that will surely not end well for him. And does anyone else sense a relationship forming between Caliban and Mr. Putney's daughter, Lavinia? He seemed really taken aback when she was touching his face. She seems like the perfect match for him.

Gladys giving some eye opening statements to Malcolm in the cemetery was so harsh but so accurate. "We have no more children for you to save or kill" Damn. And it will be interesting to see if the police can figure out that Ethan was the one that almost killed everyone at the Inn. Also more Sembene please.

Overall, perfect set up for season 2. Can't wait to see more next week.

  4. - When I used to live in England we would visit a place called the London Dungeon. It was horror wax work museum. I wonder if that's what this place will become.
    - I like how they segued from the wax museum to the crime scene.
    - Victor! What are you doing?
    - Vanessa Ives is going to be more difficult than we thought, and now she has a werewolf protector, so I'll just shorten our numbers by one. I'm a tactical genius!
    - It's looking even more like Vanessa is Sir Malcom's daughter.
    - I was hoping that Bride!Brona would have white streaks in her hair.

  5. Ethan in the house now! I like how he stayed outside the first night to protect her. Can't wait for him to Wolf out and control that, I have a feeling if he doesn't do so much this season next season might be more on him.

Vanessa knows whats coming and why its why she is pushing people close to her and a bit scared.
But that Witch fight scene was crazy I like the Marked by the Devil look for the Witches but glad they can also look normal lol.

Dr F. What the F with the touching lol, then I saw the promo more of it to come?
Maybe Frankenstein's Adam John Clare or whatever he goes by now will find peace with the blind chick? either way her dad is shady.

Idk why The Big Witch Madam Kali or Poole killed on of the other witches when it seemed like it was all hands on deck kind of situation. Whatever More then her doings I look forward to Hecate and Ethan interaction and hopefully a fight in supernatural form.

  6. i don't understand if the storyline about amunet /amun ra is ended with the season 1 finale , or lucifer here ,is intended as amun ra , just with a biblical name!they haven't killed amun ra , so it doesn't make any sense leaving all that storyline unsolved , and see instead lucifer seaching for her (vanessa should be amunet reincarnation) !! another thing i don't understand is madame kali , in season 1 seemed so scared by vanessa during the amun ra possession , ad now she seems so evil and feraless , it's like a different character....

I haven't seen it yet, but I want to say that I really liked the first season, and I think that Eva Green (Vanessa Ives) and Rory Kinnear (Caliban) would have deserved Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.

  8. I am so happy that one of my favorite shows is back. Loved the premiere.

The recap of S1 at the start of the episode was awesome.
The witches are scary. Their attack was good but Vanessa speaking back to one of them in their tongue was even more awesome.
Is Frankenstein is going to fall in love with resurrected Brona? Maybe.
Will the Creature find solace in the blind woman, Lavinia? Possibly.

Loved the moment when Malcolm returned and Vanessa ran downstairs to hug him. It was touching. These two have come a long way from their animosity towards each other in the initial part of S1.
Malcolm got shot down by Gladys. It was brutal but he deserved it.
Evelyn Poole is a scarily awesome antagonist. Looking forward to her face off against our band of misfits.

  9. 1. The tracking shot leading to Madame Kali in the blood filled tub was exceptional. Seeing that moment in promos several times didn't take away from the impact once it actually happened.
    2. I'm happy Caliban found a place that fits him but I'm also scared about the lengths that wax museum dude will go to exploit him.
    3. Ethan becoming Vanessa's protector and them bonding over their monsters inside them was a nice move. I'm excited to see more of these two.
    4. The witches are scary as hell and we have already seen more of them than we have of vampires during the entire first season. Season 3 already seems to be tighter and moving along faster than the first one.

  10. My theory is that all these different entities are one deity who has been given different names by different cultures.
