  2. not even sure I plan on watching this one yet with how bad it gets or if it gets worse next week, as I know he does not get saved until it's over.

  3. Holy Christ! I was cringing for parts. Poor Jamie. I haven't read the books so I'm not sure but I can guess what Randall wants to do and I hope to hell I'm wrong!

  4. I have not been this pissed off to see the closing credits on an ep of Outlander since the show started. No rescue until next week!?!?!

WAIT...DID THE PREVIEW SAY THE FINALE ISN'T UNTIL MAY 30TH. Starz seems to know a bit about sadism. grrr.

i was holding my breath. That was heart wrenching. The performances stellar.

  6. Is there an "awesomely awful" choice?

  7. Does it make me a bad person that I am liking Randall more and more? He's just so brilliantly evil, every time I think he has reached his limit, he just raises the bar. As far as being a psychopathic, sexual sadist goes, he is just at the top of his game. The fact that he is bi-sexual just expands the amount of victims he can torment. Men or women, he doesn't care, just as long as they can experience pain and humiliation and they are perfect for him.

  9. I liked more the way they presented it in the show that in the book, very stressful but well that's how it is.

One of the best acted hours of television I have seen in a very long time. Stellar performances - definitely multiple award worthy! The amazing trust and teamwork that was needed to pull something like that off! Kudos to not only the actors but the writers and all the support cast & crew as well

  11. Sam is such an incredible actor. God Almighty. All the actors deserve a Bravo! But Sam continues to impress .

  12. Sam Heughan deserves all the awards. Mr. Menzies and Ms. Balfe were amazing as well, but Sam made those scenes REAL. It was horrifyingly beautiful.

  14. Watch it. Put a pillow or something on your lap. If you read the book it is almost word for word. It's just harder to watch but you can't not see it or hear it.

Some of the most intense and disturbing scenes ever filmed.......the acting was over the moon incredibly wonderful! Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, & Tobias were breathtaking! Emmy awards should already have their names engraved on them!

Like a moth to the flame, those silent words...two steps forward and one around the corner.....Claire is not helpless...like BJR thinks!!!

  19. What happened was awful. In terms of execution, acting, writing, and respect given to the material and the events portrayed, it was amazing. It was carefully done, but at the same time, so fearless. I couldn't have more respect for the cast and crew. They said in the podcast that the six days they spent filming those scenes in block 8 were the worst any of them had ever spent on a set. But the result (again, not in terms of events but in terms of how they did it) was incredible.
