Oh God, that talk where Emma forgave her parents nearly killed me. And I can't believe I actually agreed with Hook for once.
LOL at "Why don't you stay for a week and I can teach you how to be an evil dragon bitch?"
Can't believe Zelena's actually pregnant and whoa at Regina making herself infertile just to spite Cora. I wonder if they really will transfer Zelena's baby to Regina.
- Zelena tainted Robin and Regina's love. Called that. - Hey wait, didn't Neal willing give himself up for his father? - Where did that van come from? And where is Lily's muscle car? - Hey Emma, forget your 24 hours later reunion. Somebody's been waiting 30 years. - Zelena seems more calm then her reasons would indicate. - Of all the people she could have gone to, why did Maleficent go to the Charmings? - I had thought in the sneak peek that it was Gold disguised as Regina, but it's starting to look like it's just Regina being Regina. - Leaving your mother after just meeting her, Lily? I think the bad decisions are rearing their head again. - Regina, you're going real dark here. - So Emma needs to be drunk to hang out with Hook? - Of course Snow went running in where she wasn't needed. - "...defining her happiness by the love of a man." Say it, Zelena. - Unlike most people apparently, I'm glad Zelena is staying.
but she still lost Neal because of of Zelena, it doesn't matter if he gave himself up, he was being a hero unlike someone who he thought deserved saving when they didn't
OMG! My prediction came true the villains are the heroes and the heroes are the villains even though I'm not a captainswan fan I love his speech to Emma about her parents and the talk between Emma and her parents gave me feels love the talk with Maleficent and Lily scene I'll teach you to be the baddest evil dragon oh so thought Regina was going to transfer the baby to her I like that Regina said Robin Hood isn't her happy ending that her happy ending is finally found her place in the world he just a part of it
If they gave happy endings in this episode emotionally for snowing, captainswan, maleficent/lily...one can only begin to imagine what the finale ending will be.
Everyone is getting happy endings I lik how far the characters have come like finding out what they truly are. Who knew all along heroes could be Villians in diguise
I guess I'm just a little confused.... as to what the heck is going to happen next season. Lol. The next two episodes look like loads of fun, though. : ) I'm sure whatever happens it'll be awesome... and soul-crushing, as always.
Very good. I'm glad they didn't draw out Regina and Robin's struggle and Emma forgiving her parents. Loved seeing Maleficent trying to bond with Lily and getting Snow & Charming's help to do it. I totally freaked out when the new book appeared, "Heroes and Villains" :) Next week looks like an amazing episode!
I actually love Regina in this episode. Making Regina like the Charmings would actually make me sick. Regina is grey, she's in between good and evil. She tries to be good but she has a mean streak. And frankly all she did was just to draw blood from Lily. There to me isn't really that big a deal. To have a Regina who cares about everyone just makes her into a cartoon character. She cares about her family and friends and will sometimes selfishly put her happiness above strangers but not her family. That - to me - seems like a real person because a lot of people do that.
i liked the parallel they drew with Emma and Lily with Lily saying she'll stay for just a week in Storybrooke and in the Pilot Emma said she'd stay for a week in Storybrooke
I loved how many times they had links to previous episodes such as the postcard and lily saying she will be here just a week, Emma said the same thing in season 1. I love the storylines so much can wait for next week
I loved the parallels the draw throughout the episode. Seeing the Evil Queen and Regina made me realize what a great job Lana did and her evolution. She and Zelena were really powerful together, and she calling her out on acting like Cora was great. Especially combined with the flashbacks. Barbara is always such a delight to see. She pushes Regina into so many directions, always in for a surprise. Regina being infertile is such a shock, that explains her love for Henry even more.
I was surprised how much Agnes resembled the young Lily, especially during the dinner scene. Now I really understand the casting. Maleficent seeking help from the Charmings was surprisingly neat. Kristin and her vulnerability were stunning once more. She and Agnes have great chemistry, loved their scene and they choose it in front of a tree. Emma and Hook were really sweet and her forgiving Snow and David was just so sincere.
More, Emma, Regina and Rumple Please. Less Charmings, really both Charmings are pretty average actors. I'm really hoping some storyline event happens to kill both Charmings off
Such a strong Regina centric episode. It showed how she always drifts between dark and good. Now she finally accepted that it is not the book that is in her way. I was a little heart broken when she took the potion but I understood her inner turmoil. There was nothing in this world for her. "I am making sure no one will ever love me." That line repowered my hate towards Cora for what she did to Regina. I like her character yet I do so despise her.
Um. The Dark One with no control? That cannot be a good thing. I must have missed something...why did the author go back to Gold? Was just because Regina refused to have him write anything? Loved Lilly getting so pissed off she turned into a dragon. Most of all loved Kristen's performance waiting for Lilly to get out of the car...and well her performance overall. She brought such a beautiful vulnerability to Maleficent.
It was great but I so wanted Zelena to be written out. Hope at least the pregnancy is. They talk more about it as a violation of Regina's happy ending than of Robin and if Zelena did it for her, it stil bothered mea bit. But the rest was good, there was different "mother" dynamics to exploit.
Huge improvement over the last episode. The scene at the docks was wonderful, and it showed how Killian understands Emma like no one else. Emma repeating Killian's advice when she forgave Snow was beautiful, and Charming's grateful look at Killian said it all. He is really part of the family now. The flashback scenes were interesting Seeing Regina rip out another innocent heart and crush it reminded me why I still just can't like her character, no matter how hard I try. And I think Cora's true angle was left wonderfully ambiguous. I just don't buy that she really cared about Regina's happiness. If she did, she never would have brought home that sleazy Nottingham. Present day Regina is a contradiction. She slashed Lily's hand to get the blood for the ink--a pretty dark move--yet she ended up not using it. She finally realized her happiness is in her own hands. Oh, and I'm glad she's back with Robin Hood. If she broke up with him, Zelena would have truly won. I'm more interested than ever in the author's back story, which I've heard we'll get in the finale. Why is he so anxious to change the story? What's in it for him?
Great episode once more, missed the Evil Queen, bdw. I won a bet against my twin, because I knew it was really Regina and not Rumple. 2x: too obvious . If I were people from Storybrooke, I would have no quiet minutes more with the knowledge that Rumplestiltskin dies and only the Dark One reminds, especially Hook and now Regina with her "Goodbye Dearie" (had to laugh so much).
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I can happily say another one of Regina's best episodes yet.

i actually thought that that was what regina was going to do

ReplyDeleteDAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! regina that was sloppy not having The Author in handcuffs, VERY STUPID OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoyed seeing Zelena terrified....
ReplyDeleteAnd our to Regina slashing Lily's hand. Evil!
Great episode. Really enjoyed all the Regina stuff. Loved that Emma finally reunited with Snow/Charming. Really enjoyed Maleficent and Lily as well.

ReplyDeleteWhere is August?
ReplyDeleteright?! i miss him so much, but i think i read somewhere he was going to be in these episodes
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm just a little confused.... as to what the heck is going to happen next season. Lol. The next two episodes look like loads of fun, though. : ) I'm sure whatever happens it'll be awesome... and soul-crushing, as always.

ReplyDeleteI don't know how I feel about this episode...
ReplyDeleteSo Regina screw herself up too being The Evil Queen not only the others.
ReplyDeleteThat "Once Upon a Time" line at the end gave me chills.
So much for Emma becoming evil. But I'm happy she didn't turn dark.

ReplyDeleteCruella didn't. She ended up at the bottom of a pit. Two out of three Queens of Darkness receiving happy endings ain't bad. :)
ReplyDeleteCruella was killed so she didn't I mean one of them was gonna get one
ReplyDeletei liked the parallel they drew with Emma and Lily with Lily saying she'll stay for just a week in Storybrooke and in the Pilot Emma said she'd stay for a week in Storybrooke
ReplyDeletei thought you mean regina LIKING the Charmings LOL, no yeah there is no way in heck that regina's full hero, she's more of an anti-hero
ReplyDeleteI loved how many times they had links to previous episodes such as the postcard and lily saying she will be here just a week, Emma said the same thing in season 1. I love the storylines so much can wait for next week

Zelena was brilliant in every scene she was in.
ReplyDeleteThis episode was absolutely AMAZING. I love that it was a mostly Regina centric episode

ReplyDeleteOh wow, I have so many questions now ...
ReplyDelete- How does the writer transfer all the characters from one book to another
and how does Henry get in there?
- When does “Heroes and Villains” start – timeline-wise? Has Regina ever
become queen or is Daniel still alive?
- Is the effect of the ”no-baby”-potion permanent for Regina or can it be
broken/reversed by true love or some other magic?
- Does the author end up changing conditions that have a lasting effect
for someone in Storybrooke? Are parts of the past undone so to speak?
- What drives Isaac? What is his motivation? Pure excitement? Just because
he can? Or does he have another agenda?
- Thinking that Henry will be the hero that brings everyone back to
Storybrooke, will they all remember the other story, “Heroes and Villains”?
Amazing episode as always :)
ReplyDeleteCan't believe the season finale is next week. Wow, this season has gone by so fast.
Well that was quite an interesting turn of events. But what matters most is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_Bv_mD4X-Y
ReplyDeleteYey Outlaw Queen!
loved the ep...

Then I was blown away by the promo for next week.
Personally wanted more Lilly/Emma and less Regina/Zelena
ReplyDeleteIt seems like the Author wants glory and fame, he wants that book to him all of that. Not really sure why.

ReplyDeletethe only stuff I liked was Regina's own arch from the fairy tale land past. The rest sucked
ReplyDeleteI think the author was disappointed that Regina didn't want to write anything.

Glad to see Emma back in SB
ReplyDeleteBack with her parents, her son and her pirate,
I love the scene of Hook and Emma talking neat the docks.
Interesting to see how Mal and Lily are going to get through this
EPIC pre-finale. Now I won't rest untill I know for sure my Rumple is in S5. I need also more SQ & Rumbelle & CapSwan
ReplyDeleteI still hate Zelena's pregnancy with the fury that launched a 1000 ships. The episode was not that bad.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing Lily turn into a dragon.
This was just extremely boring and empty. Practically all that happened was already in the promos...
ReplyDeleteZelena tricked him into doing it; she knew it would kill him and he didn't.
ReplyDelete"- Hey wait, didn't Neal willing give himself up for his father?"
ReplyDeleteZelena tricked him into doing it; she knew it would kill him and he didn't.
"- Of all the people she could have gone to, why did Maleficent go to the Charmings?"
Because they had experience reuniting with their own long-lost grown-up daughter, I suppose. Also, Mal suggested that Snow could seal the town.
