  1. Holy shit at the end. I'm sure Gibbs is safe but I definitely didn't see that coming.

  2. Man, they said there won't be clifhanger like this. Ohh I totally didn't see this coming. Gibbs being shot. Who's gonna wait for the next season so long...

  3. Goodness.

Did not expect that at all.

I love the show but I'm kind of hoping Givbs is killed. The dynamic is getting stale and the fallout from that could make the series really good. If season 13 is the shows last (like I'm thinking it will be) I think the dynamic could be cool if Gibbs wasn't there.

That would be interesting to see. But I doubt they'll actually kill Gibbs off.

  6. Gibbs losing a leg would be cool, if they wont kill him , maybe they need to at least wing him so there is a response to him constantly getting shot.

  7. It was a lot of twist and turns all episodes and then the ending happened and now I'm freaking shocked at how I have to wait till fall for a new ep

Do you guys think he really does?

  9. Whats with all the awful votes it was a decent finale. People really that annoyed about the cliffhanger. Its just for dramatic effect and to make sure people tune in next season. No way is gibbs dieing. Your a fool if you actually fall for that

  10. No, I don't think so.

  11. the overall concept of "the calling " arc was done superb, but at the end "gibbs being shot"has done so many times,it doesnt feel like a cliffhanger.

  12. The twist with Luke only playing Gibbs I saw coming a mile away, but I didn't expect him to shoot him.

  13. Like before, gibbs will be okay and 2 episodes in the next season, all is forgotten.
The show will be stale and repeat the same plot points as always...and sadly people still watch it like its their religion...its a shame, since the show could have been better.

But its known that people dont want change, that is why ncis works...same old same old over and over again.

  14. Got to admit I saw the ending coming, way too many hints and foreshadowing meant it fell flat. The scene with Mimi Rodgers and the terrorist was also very false and flat. I didnt believe she would kill him so I dont know why he thought she would. Which is a shame because she is a good actress and it was a potentially a great idea, the whole thing just lacked any conviction or any tension.

Such a waste of a decent and possibly shocking story line after the excellent ep of the week before. And when they could have made the shock of Gibbs being shot by the boy a OMG moment and outstanding cliff hanger they just let it land like a damp squib.

As I said such a disappointment after last weeks ep.

  15. Stale and repeat. I dont ever recall a storyline involving kids being used a terrorists before unless in mistaken . If your refering to gibbs being shot thats a pointless accusation. Its pretty much a given in crime shows that the heroes get shot a few time. How many times has reese been shor in person of interest. How many times was jack bauer shot in 24. Its kind of an unavoidable repition given gibbs line of work

  16. Of course not... Rule #36 If you think you are being played, that is because you are...

  17. I get what Velron means.

While its "natural" that the main characters get shot etc, NCIS is known to do stuff like this without consequences.

Tony had this pest thing or what it was...it never came up again.
Gibb lost his memory, it never played any role.
Ducky had a heart attack...its forgotten pretty much.

This time they did a rather "unique" finale for ncis, but it still feels stale to me.
There seems to be hardly any development and evolution in the show.

We all know that gibbs getting show, will only be something for 3 episodes or so...then we have the old status quo we had since sooo many seasons.

The show just uses the safest way for storylines.

Instead of doing something really great and unique, the writers kill of support characters to generate fake angst that will not hold in the long shot.

There is so much potential in the characters and storys...im not even talking about the old elephant in the room that starts with Z.

  18. Tony had issues he got over them. No need to bring it up again. Gibbs lost his memory, if was temp he recovered, no need to being it up again. Ducky had a heart attack, he recovered, no doubt he has an ongoing heart attack and is on medication but that doesnt need to be a plot point every episode. Those storylines ran there course. The aftermath of duckys heartattack actually continued through half of season 10 and we saw his attempts to live a healthier lifestyle. Sounds more like u want the show to dwell on past events instead of moving forward.

  19. Its funny that you talk about moving forward when NCIS has the same constant status quo for many seasons.

Look at shows like Castle,Person of Interest,Bones etc..they all evolved and changed.
NCIS feels like the same old.

Maybe its just me, but i just get more and more tired, the show feels to me very boring.
It could be that i see it very negative, but i just cant help it.

  20. I loved the show for the first 5 seasons. 6 was kind of the 'uh...' and I dropped it altogether around 7-8. Show really changed when Bellasario left. :( So no, not everyone stayed onboard when it became dull and tedious.

I think it's changed a lot. Season 10 offered the most change I think, then 11 and 12 have been reverting back to old NCIS again... Which is fine but not as exciting

  22. I did enjoy these last few episodes although I really dislike cliffhangers - especially this one.

It feels to me that there has been a gradual shift where Tony is taking more responsibility, out in the field this season. There has still been lots of scenes where Gibbs is still very obviously the lead, but I thought it was interesting that it was Tony who got the phone call at the end. If Gibbs survives (please!) then it will provide an opportunity for a change in the dynamic while he recovers.

It's going to be a long summer.

  23. If its not Gibbs dieing then who is it that makes Mark look so sad at The Late Late Show with James Corden, or is it my imagination?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Jeez if I read the comments I think: you can go your own way you know? As characters die its wrong, and if they continue it is not good either, the show,
which over the years has evolved, (watch the seasons)
characters have grown, bold subjects, and it is of top quality!

  25. It would be so mediocre non of the others will come near , NCIS will go out like a candle
