I'm really disappointed we didn't get to see Kono get married. And since it ended on a cliffhanger, I'm going to be so angry if it doesn't get renewed.
Sixth season will be the last IMHO. Really love Danny's loyalty to Steve. Rescuing Steven it seems all the time. But at times, Steve just does not pay Danny the respect and loyalty Danny deserves.
I'm also disappointed we didn't get to see her get married. I kept holding my breath that something terrible was going to happen like Adam or Kono getting shot because of his past! They better get renewed because I want to see them pick up right where they left off and Chin jog over there with those rings!!! Poor Adam has waited long enough! I was SO happy to see Catherine back!!! I hope she sticks around this time! I love her and Steve together. I'm curious to see what happens with Danny and Melissa. I think they're sweet together. I wish they would drop Grover. He doesn't fit the show to me. Or they could use him as recurring guest as they did before. I don't think his role is necessary, but that's just my opinion.
Overall good episode, didn't like the ending though. I'll be glad if there is a season 6 only if Cat is back as a RECCURING and Steve's girlfriend. She was better as navy intelligence officer from whom the boys could get the info but not as a permanent Five-0 member (the writers ruind her character after that!). The Five-0 should've stayed only as a 4 members team. Still don't see the point of having Grover on it!!!!
I agree with you. I love Cat and want her back as well, but as recurring. I didn't really mind her when she was a member of the Five-0 team, but prefer her as navy intelligence. They had her filling in for Grace when she was on maternity leave, but once she came back they didn't know what to do with her character and I didn't like how she was treated. The actor Chi seems like a nice person, but all it seems like Grover does is walk on set say his lines and walks away. It's distracting sometimes. Jerry might as well be recurring as well. I didn't see the point of them making him a regular too. They didn't know what to do with him either.
If we get a season 6 let Cath come back as a recurring character same go's for Jerry and get ride of Grover he is unnecessary he is to old for this team,
I gave up watching H50 somewhere on the beginning of season 5, but I wanted to see the finale. I have to say - what a huge waste of time!
This episode made me certain that this show have to be cancelled. The plot is not interesting anymore, they are forcing plots and actions and everything put together is a very poor result.
Don't get me wrong, I used to love H50. I used to wait for the next episode really impatiently. But now? This is a joke not the tv show I used to love.
They should've cancel this show long time ago when it was still on top and didn't suck as much as now. Now instead of remembering amazing show we have the burning remains of what it used to be. You may not agree with me, of course. Everyone can have their own opinion.
But trying to save it (?) by return of the character that Lenkov kicked out before, won't make any difference. Especially that most of the fans hated Catherine.
This is indisputable. The biggest problem at the moment is that the show is too expensive. It isn't enough CBS likes them, they need to have $$ to invest in another season.
Since they wanted to bring Catherine back and maybe make McRoll a thing again, they should have thought before about how they would do that, because Steve was totally out of character in their reunite scene. I'm still pissed that they have brought her back. And Rachel lying to Danny was very sad. Danny is a great father and deserved to know the truth long ago. He lost three years of Charlie's growth. Core 4 deserved a better plot and go back to what it was before.
What hall ? Rachel lied Danny, Catherine is black and Steve Saïd nothing, hope doesn t stay no alchimi between theo and Steve deserve much better she is a liar and left him and back like nothing happend. no sense and kono' s wedding no sense too
Yes, I was upset about that too. I understand shows love to leave us with cliffhangers, but I wish we could have seen Adam & Kono say their vows, do the kiss, and then maybe cut to seeing Gabe hiding somewhere, watching, and Chin seeing him and knowing that Gabe us watching and isn't going to give up so easy.
As much as I love this show, sometimes some of the "save the world all by ourselves with no help for the proper authorities" stuff gets old! The nuke....disposing it all by themselves, out in the ocean, damaging the ocean's ecosystem and wildlife, was a bit much. Yes, I know, we must choose to save our fellow humans, but still.
I finally was able to sit and watch this last night. I loved it. Not sure how I feel about Catherine coming back. (on a completely shallow note - glad to see she put on a bit of weight. She was looking extremely thin last we saw her. Did the actress have a baby? Is that one reason she was written out of the show for a while?) But I did love Steve's comments to Danny about not needing to jump into anything after being with Cat for so long; he's such a great catch. And his reaction when he saw her show up at his house- perfection..every girl wants that! Rachel lying to Danny about having a son and all of Danny's reactions and thoughts - I really felt for him and totally agreed with him. He's quite the catch too; such a great dad. I loved when Steve was the one who gave him advice about putting his anger aside. The nuke storyline was a bit much, but it's par for the course with this lot. Gotta take it in stride. Wish we could have seen Kono and Adam get married though!
Not true. A small group of vocal fans didn't like her because they felt she was interfering with the Danno/Steve "bromance." They even hassled the actress. (Guess they couldn't tell the difference between her and the character she played in her job.)
As a result, she was gone and we ended up with Grover and Jerry coming in to take up time with Steve because Scott Caan wanted less time.
I agree that they need more ladies. But tbh when Catherine was just recurring character she had more to do. The moment when they put her as the main cast her role was to be the background or to leave the room while the rest was talking about stuff. I liked her, but I never liked what they did with her character.
I droped the show this season somewhere on the 12th episode when Steve told about Catherine not coming back. But I thought I'd come back only if they bring her back. So I saw a spoiler about it happening in this episode and watched all the 2nd half of the season for two days. And I gotta say I quite liked what happened in that other half. A lot of personal cases and stories came in handy. And many old opened questions had been continued or ended. Seems like creators understand that finale of the show may be on the horizon. They even remembered about Rachel - I didn't think there was any chance for that. So to sum up the show rehabilitated itself for me. I hope it won't lose it the 6th season. Maybe there's a chance it wouldn't even be its last one)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Ugh at Rachel lying to Danny like that. I feel so bad for him, Stan, and Charlie. None of them deserved that.
ReplyDeleteDid they just like nuke a lot of poor innocent sea animals? Because rude.
Nice at ending on a cliffhanger when the fate of the show is still undetermined.
I'm really disappointed we didn't get to see Kono get married. And since it ended on a cliffhanger, I'm going to be so angry if it doesn't get renewed.
ReplyDeleteIMO the show is safe. I believe CBS love 5-0 a lot
ReplyDelete"KAT"
ReplyDeleteSix words for Season six renewal.
ReplyDeleteRENEW. RENEW. RENEW. RENEW. RENEW. RENEW.

I think they could drop Jerry too. We don't need any more comic relief on the show. We have the Steve/Danno exchanges and Kamekona for that.
ReplyDeleteMost of the fans didn't hate Catherine. The show sucks without her. They need more women on this show.
