Anddd it's over. Ryan goes after that bitch and her people off the books we'll never get to see it and we'll never get to see him be a father. Ugh!! I really enjoyed those two hours. I'm soo glad Mike survived. That would've killed me. I'm overjoyed Gwen survived. I felt soo bad for her. And I take pleasure in knowing that she was good for Ryan from the start, an IN-NO-CENT! Not someone "out to get Ryan" not a psychopath, no "hidden agenda", just a woman who naturally loved Ryan. I've been saying that since the premiere, so damn right I'm gloating, knowing the whole fanbase was WRONG. = D = D = D
Max and Mendez were real troopers tonight. They kept it together emotionally, stayed strong for the ones they loved. I wanted to hug them both. I'm at ease knowing Mendez survived, if she would've gotten killed after her retirement, I would've shouted from the rooftops.
And finally YES!! Daisy and Theo are gone!!! I couldn't take them anymore!! Not one bit!! I kept yelling, "Whyyy are they still aliveeee???? Somebody kill them already!!!" I couldn't take another second, ESPECIALLY of Daisy!!
I take great pleasure knowing my favorite characters are alive, but I truly wish I could know what happens after this. I wish there was an interview or something, telling us what ideas they had for season 4. You know like what they did with Star-Crossed. That would've been really nice. Then I could've had real closure. Sigh!!
While the finale was awesome I am so upset that this is it for The Following. The set up for next season was executed so damn well. Ryan Hardy off the grid with the whole world thinking he's dead going after bad guys doing whatever it takes to bring this evil organization down would've been awesome to behold. A shame we'll never get to see it.
The finale was amazing, and so well executed. Everything was falling into place, and the emotions of the main characters were beautifully shown and played. And even if I thought that, initially, it was a terrible decision from Fox to cancel the show, I'm even angrier today, because they had an amazing, show-changing set up for season 4, something that you can already feel throughout the finale. I would have loved to see Ryan taking down Eliza's boss and organisation, and to get to know how he'd get back to his life, with his kid, Gwen, and Mike and Max. Sadly, it won't happen, and it sucks. The writing team did an amazing job, giving us such a wonderful finale that could have lead to a brillant start for a new season at the same time.
I think that with season two being a big let down, a lot of viewers stopped watching which lead to the ratings decline. A shame really because season three was great. I know that there are a lot of people that didn't care for Theo, but Michael Ealy rocked that role. I'm disappointed that we won't get a fourth season to explore the after effects of what happened at the end.
It completely set up season 4 and we'll never see it. There were questions that were left unanswered, and the only real closure you got was that, the people we cared for survived. That's about it.
It helped a little and that's betterr than nothing. He answered the "Big Bad" part. And i felt Ryan let go on purpose (i never thought he slipped) b/c he couldn't hang on anymore. Also, i don't/didn't ship Mike and Max but i feel bad for the shippers that did. They never got to see their relationship on screen, now they never will.
you all are tripping! This season finale was filled with big time holes, and they left way too many loose ends untied. If they knew the show was going to be cancelled they should have wrapped it up better. Horrible. and they knew the show would be cancelled because the ratings were so bad
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Can someone let me know if season 3 is worth buying on Blu-Ray once it comes out?

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how others feel, but season three was much, much better than season two, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI definitely have the same feeling for what it worth

ReplyDeleteDid it end on a cliffhanger or did it have a Conclusion to the show ?
ReplyDeleteIt was a brilliant finale with an unusual and yet clever ending.I loved it-Everything was perfect for me.R.I.P The Following. You will be missed!
ReplyDeleteOpen ended conclusion. You won't understand it until you see it.

ReplyDeleteI felt the same. Season 3 over season 2.
