They made GL references all over this episode and it was awesome. It was also awesome that they played "Cold As Ice" on the jukebox when Barry met Captain Cold in the bar. I just loved almost everything about it. Cisco cannot be more adorable and Joe more snarky with the villains. Love them.
The fight was EPIC!!!!!!!! I want more plz pz plz. I was disappointed that it was too short but boy did it deliver. My heroes kicked some major ass. I'm counting the days until Ronnie is a series regular. Iris and Eddie felt like they were on a different show. I'm so angry that he told her and she chose to be with him because she was too guilty. Great GL references. And all the Arrow references and name dropping were awesome. I'm going to miss CC. Lisa's scenes with Caitlin and Cisco were pure gold (no pun intended). I was a little mad at Joe when threw shade at Oliver. I love you Joe but don't ever do that again. And like 90% of what you said was wrong. I have a lot more to say but that promo made me so emotional. Poor Barry talking to his mom before she died. I'm tearing up again just remembering it.
Am I the only one that felt like they just wanted to throw stephen and robbie in this episode simply to please the fans that wanted them to have a scene together
They did amazing this episode I can only imagined next weeks awesome episode I mean who isn't gonna be happy to barry with his mom? Tonight might have topped the finale probably
Who ever said that it was "Awful" has to be a giant Marvel fanboy, that hates everything related to DC. Because tonight's episode was like "Wow." It was my favorite episode of The Flash. And Arrow fighting RF was amellzing.
I've been trying to make sense of the timelines for weeks now but it's not working. Just shrug and move on because otherwise you will get a splitting headache.
That's the only thing that makes sense, I mean, if Barry just happening to need his help when he was available makes sense.
And how fortuitous of Oliver to tell Barry he might need a favor, considering Oliver led Team Arrow into a trap by accident (or was it?) last week and will need Barry's help getting them out. I'm guessing he hadn't done that yet, or else he would've told Barry what the favor was - he didn't seem to be too pressed for time, like his friends were all passed out in a sealed off room.
The best consensus I can find in the Arrow Subreddit is: The Flash 1x22 takes place before Arrow 3x22, and The Flash 1x23 takes place before Arrow 3x23.
So this weeks Flash takes place before last weeks Arrow and Next weeks Flash takes place before this weeks Arrow.
Yeah it is a mess, lol. On the Arrow Subreddit, the consensus seems to be that this weeks Flash takes place before last weeks Arrow and Next weeks Flash takes place before this weeks Arrow.
So Lyla was helping Barry before Oliver kidnapped her? And he was on a villain undercover mission and thought hey why not stop on my way and help Barry and to hell with my cover. How did he explain leaving to Maseo and the others? He trusted Barry with the fact that he's still him but not his own team and sister?? Yup yup the headache is starting.
Team up was awesome. The rest was just silly--Barry trusting Cold without a single contingency in place annoyed the crap out of me. So mad they killed Doug Jones, couldn't they have killed Rainbow Raider, he was so awful and boring it took most of the episode for me to even remember who he was. Jones was awesome and criminally misused on both shows. Ugh.
Iris is the worst. She spent the entire episode wrapped up in herself. Bad things were happening to people she cares about, stop making it about yourself Iraurel. Poor Eddie. I'm kinda hoping they switch him with Wells for the Reverse Flash and that's why history doesn't "remember" him.
LOL. That is about the best I can come up with. It would all make sense if next week was the Arrow finale and this week was The Flash. Either way there are gonna be things that don't line up (like how the hell Oliver got away from Ra's for a quick jaunt to CC. I can't imagine getting from Nanda Parbat to Central City is like making a quick beer run.) Yep your right. Headache time.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Awesome !!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Green Lantern easter eggs were KILLING me tonight. Great ep. Can't wait to see how this all goes down next week. That promo . . .
ReplyDeleteIt was the best episode of the season for me. Everything was perfect ! And the last minutes...freaking awesome ! :D
ReplyDeleteAccording to next promo, the finale is going to be a treaty one ! :(

How does the timeline fit with Arrow? Did this episode take place before last weeks Arrow?
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that felt like they just wanted to throw stephen and robbie in this episode simply to please the fans that wanted them to have a scene together
ReplyDeleteThey didn't mention. They just said that Oliver was in NP and Oliver told Barry that he might need his help soon.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I was just a little confused.
ReplyDeleteSo Hal Jordan is most likely already on Oa training
ReplyDelete6% of people thought that the episode was awful ?! :o I mean, how can you found that fight awful ?!
ReplyDeleteThey did amazing this episode I can only imagined next weeks awesome episode I mean who isn't gonna be happy to barry with his mom? Tonight might have topped the finale probably
ReplyDeleteJoe, I love you, but don't you dare dump on Oliver Queen's hero status like that again!
ReplyDeleteArrow previews show Barry helping out Team Arrow in the Arrow finale. So that must be the favor
ReplyDelete1% probably just didn't like it while other 5% are just trolls I bet
ReplyDeleteI know, but I was wondering how the timing worked. When did Oliver have the time to go Central City?
ReplyDeleteHe clearly left while Ra's was sleeping
ReplyDeleteMaybe he just left I mean Ra can't monitor his every move
ReplyDeleteWho ever said that it was "Awful" has to be a giant Marvel fanboy, that hates everything related to DC. Because tonight's episode was like "Wow." It was my favorite episode of The Flash. And Arrow fighting RF was amellzing.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to make sense of the timelines for weeks now but it's not working. Just shrug and move on because otherwise you will get a splitting headache.
ReplyDeleteAnother possibility is that this episode also took place while Oliver was in Starling City before he returned & he made a pit stop
ReplyDeleteIsn't that considerate of both villains to synchronise their attacks! Didn't want to cost anyone an additional trip, how thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that this episode happens between Arrow ep 21 and last weeks. So maybe the timeline is: actually scrap it, I have no idea.
ReplyDeleteAmellzing. Nice ;D

ReplyDeleteJust gotta go with the flow & say fuck it yo

ReplyDeleteYea that can be cause of the episode count
