I thought the episode was great. But, if I remember correctly from Emily Silver's twitter, wasn't there supposed to be a tearjerker scene with B&B and Christine?
I didn't really care for the episode. Aubrey calling and him and Jessica "Booth and Brennan 2.0" really bugged me. I know they meant it as a joke, but it sure didn't make me laugh. In that scene all I could think of was, "So first he's Sweets 2.0. Now he's upgraded himself to Booth 2.0??" Ughh. I didn't like it. Their date/non date was cool, but idk, I'm just not rooting for them. And Aubrey mentioning Sweets in that moment had me more upset. But a sad upset. Sigh...I miss Sweets. I wish he'd come back in like a dream sequence. That'd be nice.
I enjoyed Angela and Hodgins' talk about how the job is breaking them. I honestly can't wait for them to move to Paris. I really want that for them. I hope it does end up happening and I want nothing but happiness for them. But I don't want them "gone gone", just to clarify. Lol This show has to go on another freaking season, I love it, but I think we can all agree it's NOT like it used to be. (Seriously what happened with this show?) And if they show up every once in the blue OR not at all next season, I'll be really upset. It'll be all downhill from there. At least for me it will be.
Very disappointed with the ending. I wanted to hear Booth's whole speech. I take comfort in the fact that b/c Booth and Bones are having problems, everyone else is falling apart. That makes me smile. And no worries Angela, Booth and Bones are forever. = )
Yes that is what I thought as well and also I believe Booth was supposed to give speech in next episode and now I am wondering if that will happen. If Bones really did film that scene and didn't air it I do not know what to really think either about FOX or whoever makes their editorial decisions. How on earth do you cut scenes of your two leads and for what possible reason? While the actual episode had its moments( clearly this was Booth's show and David did a great job) but it really fell short of what I was expecting. Maybe if I watch it again tomorrow it will look better. My real issue now is that for this supposed big break up of Booth and Brennan, they have had absolutely NO meaningful scenes other than her kicking him out and diner scene( which was good, I appreciated Brennan saying she loved Booth even though she is still angry). It was hard to believe that Brennan was really missing Booth with what little scenes she had. I know her pregnancy has a lot to do with this but the scenes she had didn't give her much and that really isn't a complaint towards Emily as much as Ms. Reich and her daughter. The thought that somebody at FOX or Mr. Nathan cut scenes of Booth and Brennan to shove the forced pairing of Aubry and Jessica makes me mad. I am still waiting for the surprises Nathan said was coming. I did appreciate the little smile Booth gave towards Brennan at end. That is the Booth that we know and at least at the end we know he is trying. Hopefully by the looks of the stills of next weeks show it will be better and may they not cut Booth and Brennan's last scene at home. Sorry for venting but I was expecting a more emotional episode that they seemingly promised
Yeah it's just i've seen people call Aubrey and Warren: adorable, cute, etc. LOL, it's cool hearing "awesome". Even if i can never fully like Aubrey for obvious reasons.
I really liked the episode and even at first I found it great I put Awesome ... everything is not supposed to be always bright and I like the way they write Booth addiction ... sure Brennan knew about it, she is mad because he put Christine and Her in danger ... I'm confident that they'll be ok... Brennan telling him "I love you" was great and encouraging for him ... I love this show !!
I don't care much about it. At first i was against Aubrey, but hey i was against Sweets also, but with time i kind changed my mind, now with Aubrey i kind of see him as part of the team, but not as a replacement for Sweets. After all if they wanted to replace him, they would not have put another agent as the new guy.
Angela and Hodgins will be back. All of the cast signed new contracts. The only difference between this season finale and season 5's is that they are couples now and Booth and Brennan will most likely be together.
Loved it. David and Emily did wonderful acting performances really got the feelings between Booth and Brennan. I am a little sick of Angela's Paris obsession. Isn't our country good enough for her? A good artist can work anywhere. And she is leaving Brennan when she really needs her.
Your statements tend to contradict themselves. You smile because people are having problems and claim to be a.fan. very confusing. I love Bones. Loved the episode. It was awesome.
My comment doesn't contradict anything. YOU are obviously confused on what I meant, and instead of clearly pointing out what part you don't understand, you choose to question my "fanism". So really what you should simply say is what it is that confused you. However, I figured out what you're lost about, so let me clear that up for you. I am not "smiling because people are having problems" = /
I was saying, that I like that their problems interrupt the flow of team! As in, when they're unhappy, everyone is unhappy. Because, the team is a Fam-i-ly! Get it now? And you can love the episode as much as you want, some did, some didn't, nothing wrong with that, I OTOH did not.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Awful, Writer Reich is trying to make TV Brennan into the drunk, single mother of her books. Pathetic.

ReplyDeleteThe show has already gone downhill. I enjoy it for what it is.
ReplyDeleteAubrey and Jessica are awesome, but i hope they don't drag their relationship as long as the other ones on the show.
ReplyDeleteAs for the episode awesome one.
Wow "awesome" huh? i expected "cute" LOL, on Awrren and Aubrey.
ReplyDeleteWell the case was very interesting the whole new relationship was good and not to mention the whole other stuff.

ReplyDeleteYes it has. I was just trying to be nice about it.
ReplyDeleteBut like i said, if they get rid of Hodgins and Angela for next season, then it's over.
wut?

ReplyDeleteWhat in the world are you talking about? Makes no sense to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm talking about the episode? What are you confused about exactly b/c my comment is very specific? So what are you not understanding?
ReplyDeleteYour statements tend to contradict themselves. You smile because people are having problems and claim to be a.fan. very confusing. I love Bones. Loved the episode. It was awesome.
