The Machine addressed Harold as father and that, (IMO), is the single most epic scene in POI history.
ReplyDeleteJohn getting a fax from the Machine, being in God Mode on two separate occasions. The second time (taking out Samaritan agents) even more epic than the first time (neutralizing Brotherhood agents).
Harold, Root and Caleb. Great scene.
Root, Reese and Harold make their exit from the power substation with guns blazing.
The Machine integrated itself or should I say piggy backed itself into theentire power grid. What an amazing revelation.
All Control scenes specially her mind blowing final scene with Greer where she ( and us the viewers) realize the horrible truth.
That Finch-Machine scene was heartbreaking at the end. Also loved Reese in God Mode. So awesome.

The Machine calling Finch "father", saying how sorry she was to have failed them, and even question just giving up and dying. I got so emotional reading texts on a screen but I don't care, it was a gut wrenching scene overall. Honorable mention: The Machine putting Reese into God Mode twice. Both times, so badass.
ReplyDeleteThe whole episode
ReplyDeleteThe scene with Finch and the Machine... Never thought an AI could bring so many feels... Both the Machine and the show are fantastic creations.
ReplyDeleteAlso, God Mode. Awesome to watch.
Personally I loved the scene where Caleb gave Finch the compression algorithm. I loved Finch's expression. I got the impression that Caleb's gesture validated all the lives Finch had saved and changed by creating the machine.
ReplyDeleteYes! That was exactly what I loved about that scene too! All this time and they've rarely had anyone they saved help them back! And Caleb's complete faith in Finch!
ReplyDeleteExactly. Finch aka Mr Swift didn't have to explain anything to Caleb. Just shows how much impact Finch had on Caleb's life and he would do anything to repay him.
ReplyDeleteI tweeted the POI writers "HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME CRY OVER A MACHINE!!"
ReplyDeleteWas this the first time Finch was 'thanked' for saving a life? I know the peopleon the plane in "4C" did but they didn't KNOW Finch and weren't face to face with him.....
ReplyDelete1: The Machines Final Words
ReplyDelete2: Reese God Mode
3: The Correction Takes Its Course.
He was also thanked in Guilty and Mors Praematura (together with Reese in the latter). Not sure about any others.
ReplyDeleteOverall, I had to go with the very powerful Finch/Machine exchange. Reese getting some night air is a close second. I get so pumped watching that one, and I love how Reese drops the Plan B bag Pilot style.
ReplyDeleteThe Machine hablando con Harold.
