When I'm not writing about television shows, I'm often writing about entertainment and media law in my capacity as a legal scholar. I also work in theatre when the opportunity arises. Sky telling May off was by far a shocker. I didn't think Sky was like that. Next week she must choose between friends and Family though.
ReplyDeleteNow that the term inhuman is out there and thinking about the set up for the future inhuman film, how are they going to connect that movie with the other MCU films if Crystal's potential husbands are dead.?
ReplyDeleteWhy did Theta Protocol need a shrink?
ReplyDeleteWas there a Crystal in the Ultimate line?
ReplyDeleteI think so. Assuming the film is about the royal family and considering her potential connection with the avengers it would be a mistake not to introduce her. Besides I always thought she along with her sister and brother in law have some of the coolest powers in the marvel universe and again would be a shame not to see them in action.
ReplyDeletePlus if Marvel studios gets the rights to FF she could also play a part in that.
None...this episode was so even keel, nothing really stood out for me. The only scene which was somewhat fun was Coulson, Hunter and Fitz together in his office.
ReplyDeleteThe shrink was for Coulson, not Theta Protocol.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree, normally there are a few standout moments but this time I can't really say there was even one
ReplyDeleteIn Ultimates she was betrothed to Maximus(much to her despair) who was described as "stunted little peacock" by her.
ReplyDeleteBut maybe they will give up romantic storyline of Crystal and instead focus more on her relationship with Medusa, but still make her flirty and alluring.
Remembered that we are watching a show based on the guy who was killed off in the first Avengers movie, so anything is possible. I'm pretty sure the only death in the MCU that is going to be permanent is Trip's which just makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteAlso remember that the MCU is its own continuity where Mockingbird is married to Lance Hunter instead of Hawkeye and Daisy 'Skye' Johnson is inhuman to begin with, so it's obvious things will be different.
From the list
ReplyDelete- Bobbi gets taken down by Ward and Kara (mostly because I liked seeing Bobbi get her ass kicked. It's fine for her to be fighting for the "higher purpose" all the time but when you screw people over for said higher purpose all the time too the jig's gotta give at some point. Especially when you're always unapologetic about it.)
- Jiaying kills Gonzales. It was quite a turn. And sets everything up nicely
Not on the list/Other
- I liked Jiaying and Cal talking
- Fitz/Coulson/Hunter realising they've been spending too much time together
I don't know. I think Gonzales death seemed rather permanent as well.
ReplyDeleteSkye telling May off was a good thing I think. May might be one of the good guys, but she absolutely did something bad (even in self defense). And to conceal that from the rest of them, somebody needed to tell her off.
ReplyDeletelike how gordon call what was in those vials muscle milk
