  1. Juliette dying was hands-down my favorite part if only to put this all behind us.

So those who thought the following people were going to die are the winners:

    Mama Grimm
    Prince Kenneth Alun Goderich Bowes-Lyon
    Rispoli
    King Frederick
    Juliette

It was more than I expected but still missing one.

  2. Prince Kenneth is arrested, Wu takes him to an abandoned building, and Nick spikes him through the neck

  3. I like both Nick fighting Kenneth and the Grimm gang attacking the royals.

  4. My 2 top moments: Nick killing Kenneth, taking revenge "by my mother" over Kenneth.
And Trubel taking revenge in Juliette´s in Nick´s name. The circle is closed, now the warrior can to be the Warrior´s Way.

  5. I sinceresly doubt truble shoot Juliette for nicks mom who she didn't even know

  6. Was so hoping we would get a Nick/Kenneth reckoning man to man and yes we did. Happy that the Grimm team survived - with the notable exception of the character destroyed Juliette. I know most of the viewers never liked her but I did not mind her and thought her becoming a Hexenbiest initially was going to make her a more important contributor to the team , but boy, was I wrong. The writers went at her hammer and tongs and mutilated her character mercilessly, and I am not certain why. Was this a knee jerk reaction from the show runners like the situation with Katrina on SH or is something else planned. I just do not get the intent behind destroying a loyal character so viciously. I realize I am in the minority with my thinking on this subject. Anyway, loved Wu wanting to be part of the team so willingly - and Bud's devotion, ha. It was the show's best finale yet I thought. I really enjoyed it. And know we know that Kings cannot fly.

  7. I didn't have a favorite scene. The whole thing was really good except for how little Renard there was. You'd figure with his daughter involved he'd be more present in the episode. Anyway, my favorite moment came courtesy of Hank during the Nick-Kenneth fight:

Wu - *visibly worried and impatient* "Okay, this is crazy. I'm going back."
Hank - *grabs Wu by the arm* "No no no. This is the way nick wanted it."
Wu - "Okay. I'm sure Nick can handle this guy but he killed Nick's mom. What if he kills Nick?"
Hank - *short pause* "Then we finish what he started."

That's some ride or die stuff right there.

  8. You are absolutely right - I had forgotten how much I enjoyed that scene. I just assumed ( after first wondering why Renard did not go with them on the raid to the Royals' rented mansion) that Renard had not yet recovered from his umpteenth near death experience. The show really missed a dramatic opportunity all through the seasons by not having Renard have a single scene with his father the King - a weird omission I thought.

  9. Yeah, I thought it was odd that they'd kill of Renard's dad before any sort of face-to-face between the two but it seems that Renard is never really a top priority in terms of writing or character development anyway.

  10. Except to throw him a bone with a sidebar Jack the Ripper quickie.

  11. That's where the episode broke down. We're supposed to believe that the Grey Poupon Guy ditched his security guy before getting on the helicopter thereby conveniently making himself defenseless. He also unaccountably dismissed Juliette who was taking care of little Diana and who could also have defended him. Moreover, how did the Resistance get on the helicopter? Or, even know it would be used. The King's security detail would obviously have vetted the crew and they would have recognized Hans and Franz as the pilots. Furthermore, having the pilots wear dark face covers at night to hide their identities was laughable. That alone should have made the King suspicious. In short, this scenario was the most contrived part of the finale and wrecked the whole episode.

  12. Trubel shouldn't even have been there. The little Diana arc started out with Nick and his mom and should have ended with them. Dragging in Trubel while condemning Kelly to a badly staged death was a digression that diminished the entire arc. It was lazy and unimaginative writing.

  13. The death of Juliette was so sad for me, she's like Anakin Skywalker, she went from a heroine to a tragic villain, who died loving someone she cares the most!

  14. I liked Juliette's death scene. I loved Juliette and had really hoped she would stick around for either redemption or an awesome villain role. But if she had to go out, at least it was in such an intense scene.

I also really liked the Kenneth-Nick fight. Lots of fun!

  15. I get what you are saying but no way did it " wreck the whole episode". The episode was very enjoyable. PS Ahead 7-2 at SD

  16. Should be embarrassed at myself but I clapped for joy when kenneth bit it.

  17. Juliette's death would have been my vote but, MEISNER! If nothing else, his 30 seconds made this episode for me.

  18. I thought that omission was strange too. I also would have expected Renard to play a bigger role in getting his daughter back from the Royals.

  19. Scherzer - 11 strikeouts yesterday; Harper - 14th home run today. How sweet it is. Yankees coming to town for two games. I have tickets!

  20. You lucky devil.you. Tuesday with Gio pitching ? Or Wed.? Jealousy is an ugly thing. Scherzer was funny celebrating in the dugout today.

  21. Scherzer got off to a slow start this season, so a celebration was definitely in order. Gio starts Tuesday. Fister was supposed to start Wednesday, but he's on the DL. So, his replacement is (get this) someone named A.J. Cole. I looked him up and he's the minor leaguer who pitched batting practice to the Braves for the first two innings in that 13 - 12 cliffhanger the Nats eventually won on April 28th. Now I understand why they don't give refunds.

  22. I know I was taken aback by Scherzer's first outings after all that money he got to come here to DC but things are definitely going well now - except for Werth's wrist. Hope you get a great game. Really? A.J. Cole ?

  23. Thanks. Summers used to be pretty dull around here before baseball returned. BTW, with Juliette kaput, Adaline has the center stage. She's still a lawyer, so I'd like to see her revive the law firm of Wolfram & Hart. You may remember them from Angel. That would be a great environment in which to raise a child.

  24. Oh,yes, I was huge Buffy and Angel fan - more partial to Spike 's humor though. Anyway - the first thing the new Wolfram and Hart could do is sue the writers of certain shows.

  25. Meisnser/Diana a great team!
Trubel killing Juliette was perfect so that Nick wouldn't have to live with that
Adalind priceless with her reopening the closet door. CC is a scene stealer and that's why the much-maligned Adalind is still around.
Overall the last four episodes of S4 made up for a lot that was wrong this season.

  26. My favorite scenes were really the entire confrontation scene between Nick and Juliette, because it really illustrated all the layers of emotional tension happening between the two of them. During that entire scene there was so much tension happening with both Nick and Juliette individually, the struggle to really find where they stood as a former couple. If I had to pick one scene in particular, it would be the moment when Nick attacks Juliette but ultimately releases her from his chokehold, realizing that he can't kill her because he still loves her, despite of everything and he desperately wants to save her. One of the reasons why this particular scene stands out is because, ultimately Nick would've had to have known that Juliette would kill him (or at least try) as soon as he released her, and yet he made that choice because he wasn't ready to give up on her completely. On another level, it was truly heartbreaking to see Nick's anguish and how he was completely resigned to letting Juliette kill him, if it meant closure for their relationship. It's only when Trubel steps in and kills Juliette that we really see the depth of Nick's anguish and how he has really hit rock bottom, if he ultimately saw no other alternative than letting Juliette kill him. And when he finally acknowledges her actions, and looks back at Trubel, the look in his eyes is one of absolute betrayal.

So for me it was really those last three minutes that truly made this episode epic, simply because of the range and depth of emotions being displayed by Nick and Juliette in that final confrontation.

  27. We were only able to vote for 2 people, so I voted for Juliette and Mama Grimm in the "will be killed" poll and voted for Juliette and Prince Kenneth Alun Goderich Bowes-Lyon in the "want to be killed" poll.

  28. Juliette wanted to go to Nick, she wasn't dismissed.
Wasn't it his security guy that went back to try and stop anyone from getting to the helicopter?
Insider job on getting the pilot.

  29. Grimm is by far the best tv program I have ever watched and I am 62 years old. i just can't get enough of it. Just wish it was a two hour show instead of just 1 hour. I love watching the reruns on TNT

  30. dude, what is with all the negative vibes. Do you gripe about everything in life? If the show is so bad and full of inaccurate things watch something else.

  31. Question: Now that the king is dead doesn't that make Renard, King? Also I think it would be cool if Renard does become King and teams with Nick to put together all the missing keys ( the royals who possess 4 of the keys and Nick has 2 ).

  32. Bro, did someone appoint you to this site's content monitor? Because I didn't see any ads here looking for someone to provide simplistic and unsolicited advice to posters. So, if you can't relate to my comments, bro, then don't read them.
