  2. Is it Machine mythology related? Because I don't want to spoil myself about it.

  3. It's relevant to the main plot, yes

  4. Damn, this season flew by fast...

  5. Wow! Interesting to see how it starts. I can't wait anymore!

  6. That poor, unsuspecting wall.

  7. Agreed - why is it the seasons go by so fast and the hiatus seems to last an eternity ?!?

  9. I will be very happy if The Machine is sandbagging Samaritan and setting a trap.

  10. I don't know. Samaritan is ruthless, inhuman and more advanced. And has much more in the way of human operators. I doubt the Machine could set a trap for it.

  11. I disagree. I'm not going to underestimate The Machine. TM has demonstrated human-like qualities which means it's capable of lying and deceit as well. I'm not sure if Samaritan would have a response to that or even expect it.

  12. True, but Samaritan is just more powerful and inherently believes humans are flawed and that the Machine is no better than them. That could very well be it's fatal flaw, but it also means Samaritan could inherently believe the Machine would lie to it or try. But it also means that Samaritan can predict anything the Machine does as it puts humanity as more important than itself. And Samitaran has never shown a tendency to underestimate the Machine's capacity to care for humanity. It knows the Machine's weakness. Unlike it Samitaran has no emotional weakness or ties. And in a battle between two artificial super intelligences, the ruthless more advanced model unless done in by it's God complex will probably win.

  13. I doubt Samaritan will start giving the team numbers to preserve the show's semi-procedural format next season so, one way or another, Samaritan is not coming out on top. It may not be in the finale but I don't expect The Machine to be out of commission for more than a few episodes, if it happens at all.

  14. True, but it's not going to flat out die. If anything it'll probably win this battle but be hurt.
