Last week, Orphan Black offered us an exciting and thrilling episode, which ended on Paul’s death by explosion.It was epic, it was breathe taking and it was also kinda dark as an episode. So, this week, the new all new Orphan Black, titled "Community of Dreadful Fear and Hate", airing next Saturday on BBC America, will be a lighter and funnier episode but in no way it'll be a filler or a boring episode. It'll very much enjoyable.
Since the start of the season, the focus has been centered on Sarah, Helena and the Castor clones mainly. Cosima and Allison had their little stories going on but it wasn’t much.
Especially for Cosima. She was getting over Delphine and their break up, spending her time with Felix and Scott. Things started to change last week with Shay becoming her new lover and Delphine being back at Dyad. This week in "Community of Dreadful Fear and Hate", Cosima’s love triangle will come to play again but her health will be the main focus. After the discoveries of last week (the same protein in Castor clones and in Gracie’s blood), Cosima’s sickness has to be studied again. But is Comisa ready to let Dyad, and Delphine, be in charge of her health, after everything that happened ? And how sure can she be about Shay ?
As for Allison, her story this season has been really amazing this season. She and Donnie becoming drug dealers, while Allie running for school trustee led to so many great and hilarious moments. Those two have been the funniest part of Orphan Black ever. This week in "Community of Dreadful Fear and Hate", Allison and Donnie will learn that working in the drug dealing business can be quite risky and dangerous. It was bound to happen and Donnie might pay a high price (his fingers and ears are safe, it's something else he could loose).
And while they’ll have to deal with the drug dealing situation, it will also be the big day for Allison’s election, parents will come o meet the candidates and she can’t be at two places at the same time… Or can she ? Felix will also be there to assist her, as her campaign manager. The whole story will be excellent, very well written, with a lot of surprises, twists and quiproquos.
And here’s a list of what to expect from "Community of Dreadful Fear and Hate" :
- Sarah and Helena will have a less screen time than usual in "Community of Dreadful Fear and Hate". They will find a safe location to wait for rescue. Sarah will mainly try to recover from Paul’s death while Helena will be busy doing her stuffs, like playing poker with strangers, making death threats or buying food.
-There will be a lot of talk about “urine analysis”... : /
- We are finally going to meet Connie, Allison’s mother ! You’ll absolutely love their passive aggressive relationship. Allison will be at her best. It'll be quite touching and revealing to watch her around her bossy and disapproval mother.
- A waitress will be very kind and helpful to Sarah and Helena.
- There will be a some talk about Helena’s baby and its future. Helena has a surprising plan for them.
- Allison and Donnie will make a terrible, terrible (funny) mistake.
- As seen in the promo, Helena will be quite angry at Mrs S for betraying her and selling her to Castor, in exchange for Sarah and Kira. She’ll make clear what she intends to do with Mrs S when she shows up. And Mrs S will show up. Expect some great scenes between them. Mrs S and Helena scenes will be quite extraordinary. Tatiana Maslany and Maria Doyle Kennedy are just so perfect together. They’ll give you chills.
- The deal about Bubbles, Connie’s shop won’t go as Allison planned it in her business plan. Connie will refuse to sell it, and she will have a very personal reason to do so.
- Donnie will show one of his secret talent.
- There will be a great speech about family and what is really is. Amazing writing and amazing acting. It'll be a very emotional scene... And also there will be a not so great speech, but funnier.
- Someone has a boyfriend and hasn't told us about him...
- Connie will reveal a shocking family secret to Allison. God, that woman….
- I know some of you have been waiting for a Vick’s connection with Allison drug deal well… It’ll happen in this episode !
- Connie and Jason will reunite after so many years in a familiar place… Oh, memories.
- Scott will work with Rachel on the secret key to decipher Ethan’s book, The Island of Dr Moreau. It’ll be surprising to watch them work together, clearly Scott won’t be comfortable around her after what after Felix did last week. But he'll teach her something… And if Rachel is willing to help, she has to expect something in return, right ?
- There will be a surprising kiss.
- Virginia Coady and Rudy won’t appeared in "Community of Dreadful Fear and Hate" so their fates remain uncertain. I hope she lost her leg or her arm... Am I the only one who wants Rudy to have a new scar on his face ?
- Someone will be added the clones club ! Who do you think will find out about the Leda clones ? And how do you think they'll react ?
- As Allison will be preparing for her big school trustee speech, someone will indelicately remind her of what happened the last time she was on stage. Not nice but funny.
- The ending will leave you shocked and wanting for more…
"Community of Dreadful Fear and Hate"will be a really fun and light episode and it will feel so good especially After everything that happened since the season as started, with so much darkness. Of course, there will be some tension but nothing as dangerous as Castor or Dyad... Yet.
And still, "Community of Dreadful Fear and Hate" will be a powerful episode, delivering great characters moments, especially for Allison and Cosima. Finally, the two sisters are playing a major part in an episode, and they will continue to have a huge parts for the remaining final episodes of the season.
