Almost a year to the day that Once Upon a Time surpised viewers with a parting glimpse of Queen Elsa, the ABC series this Sunday will uncork another top-secret season-ending scene.
But unlike a year ago, this filmed-in-secrecy twist won’t introduce any familiar fairy tale face but a different kind of surprise element, one that will have repercussions for Season 5.
“There is a top-secret scene that I’m shocked hasn’t got out — but there’s still time!” Once co-creator Eddy Kitsis tells TVLine with a knowing laugh. “We’ll absolutely be setting up what Season 5 will be, but unlike last year where it was, ‘Hey, it’s Frozen,’ or the year before which was, ‘Hey, we’re going to Neverland,’ this one will be much more like Season 1 in that it’s a condition of the show that changes and has ramifications for everyone.”
Adds co-creator Adam Horowitz: “If we zigged in the past, we’re hoping to zag this time.”

Ah cAnt take any more teases!! Sunday hurry up!
ReplyDeleteI really hope the end scene doesn't get leaked, I can't wait to find out what it is. I didn't know Lost announced it's end so early, I'm glad to know they don't plan on ending OUAT soon, the popular opinion seemed to be it would end after season 6 but imo there's a lot more than 6 seasons in this show, story wise anyway, hopefully the ratings bounce back like they usually do, not that they're in much danger atm anyway.
ReplyDeletemagic came to Storybrooke at the end of season 1. Maybe "our" will no longer be the Land Without magic and become a Land With Magic?
ReplyDeleteCalling It: The secret scene will be Mickey Mouse is the Sorcerer and next season will be a new form of CGI that allows the characters to be animated yet appear realistically human looking.
ReplyDeleteIf Mickey Mouse appears on the show then it could be the backdoor to have Kingdom Hearts characters crossing over to OUAT. But that's just wishful thinking xD
ReplyDeletethat sounds too expensive for OUAT
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Author writes them all back into the Enchanted Forrest.
ReplyDeleteWhat if what we've been seeing all this time was the author's doing, and that many of the OUAT twists were his own.
ReplyDeleteI really want it to be a major shock & surprise so i hope it doesn't leak out!
ReplyDeleteThe author will reverse everything that has happened in SB so far and there will be like the first curse was never lifted.
ReplyDeleteWith a character like the author on the show, the possibilities are virtually endless as to what that scene could be about.
ReplyDeleteWell lets see if the heroes and villains are switched, then perhaps there is a reversed/juxtaposing curse? Either the Land Without Magic becomes magical place that resembles Enchanted Forest-esque or people from the Land Without Magic come to the Enchanted Forest?
ReplyDeleteThat's the only thing I can think of that doesn't resemble any know fairy tales....However, I am weary since Will Scarlet's role or purpose doesn't become apparent till next season---so does that entail that he already knows something or that Wonderland plays a role??? OUATiW did possibly allude that he a Desmond Lost-ish (converse shoe key chain = fail safe) and Peter Bishop (sister names "Penelope" who fell through Frozen Lake)-like character--so he may be the one that has "a loop hole
!!!
Magic will spread all over the world? Interesting...
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to imagine the creators do not choach every time they do an interview and lie through their teeth.
ReplyDeleteThe so-called big ending was leaked weeks ago at least in part on youtube as a fan caught the scene on a video minus CGI and posted it on youtube.
As for how long the show will continue it might be important to disclose how negotiations are going with Robert Carlysle whose contract will soon be coming to an end. McIver's show was renewed so another character is unlikely to return. it is coming down to can they sign the core cast members or not.
SO once it would be nice to see something that at least appears straight forward in a release or tease or promo but I am not going to hold my breathe waiting for it to happen.
I saw something about he ending being leaked but don't know if it actually was the ending. heres hoping right! As far as the contract thing, how do you know about the whole contracts with everybody? Is it just becuase of it being s5 soon or something?
ReplyDeleteSo, they are talking about something else that is *not* Emma becoming the dark one?
ReplyDeleteNo people post contracts being signed how long and shows being renewed and how long, like anything people announce all one has to do is remember the important dates and the rest is logic that if you do not hire people by that date you will have no cast and therefore no audience or show. BTW would be a tragedy if the leaked scene was cut.
ReplyDeleteOf course they are talking of something else if you have been watching the last few episodes.
ReplyDeleteomggggggggggggggg :D
ReplyDeleteI hope ratings bounce up because I want, need & beg for S6. if we won't have it I'm ok only if there is no cliffhanger in S5 but knowing A&E they will do it and I will die if they won't renew & leave a cliffhanger so please people watch!!!! Please ABC renew!
ReplyDeleteI will guess here based on season one that much of what Henry and August spoke about helps to decide the solution to the new book which still leaves a very real problem with an author who is not supposed to write any more , a dark one who is dying as a human and pissed of dragon looking for some payback. Will's back story sounded a little Jack Frost to me but that does not matter as the big question is why is he in town now? Leaks have had little to do with will through promo picks argue Blue will be involved in a twist. And to be frank I want to see if the part about going back to more of how it was in Season one is true when the goals were to get to know the town and help them find a happiness in a world with time and no magic.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe the opposite will happen as this world was never intended to have magic and maybe it is time for magic to leave Storybrooke, again.
ReplyDeletewhat about Aladin?
ReplyDeleteWHAT SECRET SCENE?
ReplyDeleteI'm passing out ...
OUAT in Wonderland already used Jafar, so I'm not sure if they'll go Aladin
ReplyDeleteWell it could be explore the alternate reality in Storybrook again, which would give us an element of fate, because some characters may still come to die anyways, let alone where the Author and sorcerer exactly fit in, as it's hard to say if either is a hero or a villain. It might eb that the same events will come to happen again anyways, just with characters in opposite roles, until we come back to this spot again....
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!!!! Cannot wait!!! I really LOVE the sound of it. Never ever I have disliked/hated an episode.
ReplyDeleteOMG that'd be AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope the secret scene they are talking about is not the one that has already been leaked all over YouTube and Twitter. They have to know that scene has been leaked. I hope they filmed something else in studio that will be a real surprise.
ReplyDeleteDo you mind linking me to it?
ReplyDeleteThinking the end will focus on Rumbelle, the dagger and on Lillith as relates to the Apprentice and perhaps the hat and the evil potential of Emma. This changes the dynamic of the town in that Rumple brought magic to a world with no magic and most of it dark but based on light magic he placed in the well. Thinking if you do this right you can cleave Rumple from the dagger and cleave the evil from Lillith to the Dagger and purify the dagger with the good in the town and Emma. After which the characters have to find happy ever after without magic.
ReplyDeleteDoubtful as several promo stills are coming from that video leaked
ReplyDeleteOkay cool but where are these contracts up for people to see?!
ReplyDeleteyou want to see the actual contracts themself you have to be a party to the contract, you can find salaries and general terms through the SAG and you can find the dates and lengths of contracts in reports everywhere, including this spoiler sight, variety, inside hollywood, et al.
ReplyDeletepeople are tired of them using the exact same storyline but only switching the bad guy... ratings will go up when they decide to start using other characters instead of having Snow, Charming & Reginia as the central characters in every episode.
ReplyDeletelol sorry but they are the protagonists so. I love them.
