Actually I hope they use the episode to actually discuss who these people are. Do they have pieces of their old selves within these new personas? Does Snow White have a moral compass even as the Evil Queen? Can they be swayed and/or given their own 'souls' back? Can Henry or Emma (whichever version) actually prove the author doesn't have the power they think he does? I think this could be used to actually give us the limitations of the author. Can he really change people at their core? Regina was a good person who went down a dark path but ultimately went back to good. Kilian was a good person who went down a dark path and ended up becoming a hero. Rumple was a good guy but by becoming the dark one he lost some control over his goodness.
I just think they could make it incredibly compelling if they target who these people are when their stories have been re-written. Logically Zelena is prone to jealousy. Just because everything looks amazing doesn't mean she wouldn't be prone to jealousy in the new story.
I sort of expect the stories will try to right themselves. Regina and Robin are 'soulmates' regardless of their story. It didn't change when she went Dark. Fate still had a say. The author could make Snow/Charming do that to Maleficient but we haven't been shown if he can actually change a person completely.
I don't know if I am puzzled or excited or both. I mean, this basically means that the author just swapped all the roles right? More or less, i mean? Because Snow's anger is similar to what Regina's was.
This feels so wicked. So unatural but so epic at the same time. So Snow was dating Charmings Twin, James LMFAO! So the boy? Regina's followers? Intriguing? But who is going to save Regina?
I saw the leaked footage of the supposed final scene and know that statement has nothing to do with the nonsense coming out in these clips. That scene is in the middle of town and completely contemporary in dress. The clip we are shown here is something entirely different from what will change the town. The Heroes and Villains part of Operation Mongoose while theatrical will have no lasting effect. From what I saw once more it will come down to Emma. Thinking Henry will have the first half as he is not a hero or a villain. ANd then there are a plethra of confusing pics that beg the question what is up with Blue and the Apprentice. Enjoy all you want but Iam just in wait and see mode not expecting too much out of this finale. As the leaked footage looked way better than the clips.
Ginny is truly rocking this role. She brings a different quality to the Evil Queen. I do prefer Lana's because it seems more natural, but it's clear that the cast embraced their opposite roles and had fun with it. I am really interested to see what this finale exactly entails. We know there is both an EF and a Storybrooke element to it and I was to see how they entwine. Because clearly something changes that brings them all back exactly where they already were, but is it because the character's do have some free will, that the author isn't in complete control of their fate and they start to return back to their original selves, or is it something that Henry (and the Sorcerer's apprentice because he is in some spoiler pics) do? Or is it both? And then the cliffhanger, I have so many theories and I just want to know which one is right if any. I don't think Emma is going to become the dark one in the sense that Rumple was the dark one. Something is going to happen with rumple, whether he lives or dies, the dark one isn't going to be with him anymore somehow, and this dark one entity might just be attracted to Emma.
But the point of this finale, it seems, is to just... have fun with the characters. You know? You're most likely NOT meant to take it seriously, just enjoy it while it lasts. Adam and Eddy work on this show as though it's fanfiction, mashing up all the characters from beloved, iconic old tales and having fun seeing how they would interact when combined, and this finale seems like it would be the mother of all fanfictions, reversing the roles we've come to embrace on the show. This sneak peek actually made me excited - the mere mention that Snow was to be with Prince James (Charming's evil twin) was ingenious to me.
People, you just have to shut up and enjoy!! Don't like it? Then don't watch it and let the real fans enjoy it! Capitche?! I didn't like the fact Zelena is pregnant, but I know it will add something new to our characters! So just watch the show and wait till the finale! Don't judge a episode by it's sneak peeks or promotional photos!
But why shouldn't people voice their opinions just because they're negative? Even if you feel they are poorly justified because they haven't watched the episode yet, maybe they're basing their complaints on what the show has provided them with in the past. I love OUaT, but it's fairly inconsistent, a good episode is almost always immediately followed by a bad one. And keep in mind that, as I say this, I am particularly excited for the finale and loved this sneak peek.
I loved season 2 finale, but hated the season 3 one. So yeah, I'm looking forward to it, but... my excitement is nowhere to how it used to be. I'm a bit anxious as well.
this is so wrong in so many uncountable ways, yeah it'd make sense Dark Mary Margaret's Daniel to be James. They're looking for Henry? the "boy" HAS to be Henry right?
and in the next second they are out of that book and back inth the first book and Emma still has two very real problems to solve Lily and Rumple and the Darkness
All this killing will only bring more hatred into your life and all you'll be left with is a hole in your heart, with no hope of ever finding true happiness.
I agree with you completely! I loved the S3 finale even though that was unrelated, and I think that this is going to be great and something we haven't seen before. And in interviews, Adam and Eddy said that someone is going to die, so it will affect all the characters somewhat.
As per the usual Once Upon a Time MO, season 4 actually ended with last week's episode, i.e. 'Mother'. Just as last season where the season basically ends on the penultimate episode before the finale, the final episode of the year is basically a fan reward that has fun with the characters. It's not meant to have any lasting effects on the story line other than giving a fun 'what if' and setting us up for the plot of next season.
Tbf they also said there'd be a wedding, and now apparently that wedding is Robin and Zelena. Maybe someone dies in the alternate universe and once everything is back to normal their deaths will be reversed.
Though they did say that the season finale will, change the show next year so am not sure what that means,so it sounds like this finale will have longer lasting effects.
i had a thought that either the chernabog is not dead or the dagger will want Lilly to fill its darkness void and Emma will be forced to purify the blade to save Lilly sacrificing magic in Storybrooke. Henry I see choosing love over revenge and ending the Author's power when he simply refuses to believe in anything this author writes. Thus Henry saves hour one and Emma saves hour two but not sure what this will do to Rumple unless he kisses Belle before the Dagger is challenged. No other MAN can save Rumple but a woman could if he stops being a coward long enough to learn from his mistakes. Oh and some one go thrown Regina in the well and make her drink so no matter what happens to Zelena she can have a child of her own like Snow.
They said it's going to be like how season 1 ended. As in magic was introduced into the world. My uneducated guess is that either storybrooke becomes a real town or they go back to the enchanted forest. My point was the overarching storyline for season 4B was for all intents and purposes done with by 'Mother' Just as Emma's little adventure last season, the finale is more for setting up the premise for next season as opposed to giving closure to this season.
If Regina is Snow, is Emma Regina and Robin Hood's daughter? Is she Evil Snow and Huntsman Charming's daughter? Evil Snow and James' daughter? Who are Emma's parents in this alternative story?!
The Dark One would say this words, when he would see himself as a knight LOL oh dear, I laughed so much about the 2nd Sneek Peak: Rumple as a knight, only thing missing was the flash of his gold tooth.... couldn't resist do make this.
The author is clearly a jerk. I understand we're going to get his back story, so hopefully we learn why he's a jerk. But I love the idea of Henry as the hero! And Brave Sir Rumple is cracking me up. Lol!
you're welcome :-) oh yes, a great Sneak Peek for all Rumple fans... I've always in my minds, what Rumple said to Regina: found it from a Rumple-Twitter-fan, as am I. And it's so true And that he doesn't want to forget Baelfire, I love him for this even more. He has heart, although not all like Gold/Rumple
“The quill can only change a past that is created, which is why I have to write your new story from this moment forward and into the future.”
I have read this out to myself several times now - and I don't get it ... So, what we'll see is a new past? Or a new present?
And if the author now creates a new past, which will apply when they return to Storybrooke ... ?And can the newly created past by the author be undone and reverted ...
Nope, still don't get it ... But it sounds so excting.
“The quill can only change a past that is created, which is why I have to write your new story from this moment forward and into the future.”
So, what we'll see is a new past? And/or a new present? And will the new past replace the old even if they return to Storybrooke. This is even more confusing than a time travel paradox....
I would only live in fear to know that only the Dark One exist, with no part from Rumple in him. People of Storybrooke and Enchanted Forest have to fear too... even Belle, I think he would not remember Belle, after the part of Rumple "would have gone".
I think the author is writing them a new past, starting from the moment they are. Meaning he can't change the choices they made, only what they will do... he can make them forget what they did, but not the consequences of their actions... so this is why Emma and Henry are both alive, because they live in the present!
I was thinking along those lines too ... But phew. It's going to be complex if they go down that road. So for instance, by your logic, Regina would still have, say, killed her father - but how, if she is a good person in the new past? And that's just one example. And what will they know and remember when they are back in the present? It's really going to be interesting.
yes, I know that the Dark One can dies when someone kills him with the dagger. But this isn't what Rumple means. He means, that he himself dies, his part of "Good" he has/had (you can't disown that he is/was a good man, a coward, but a good man, loves Baelfire, take care to him, felt in love to Belle.. etc this was Rumple and not the Dark One). So will only stay back a black heart from the Dark One, and there will never be good in it, only black, hate, evil...and that what he meant with: a friendly warning....
I think the author can change their memories! So he can change them to make them think, per example, that Regina's father died in a battle or something...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I love Snow Dark! OMG I love her
ReplyDeleteOMG I can't
ReplyDeleteI can not take this finale serious as it looks like whatever it is it will be over in two hours and irrelevant
ReplyDeletethe creators confirm what happen in this finale will change Storybrooke. so things wont be the same
ReplyDeleteActually I hope they use the episode to actually discuss who these people are. Do they have pieces of their old selves within these new personas? I usually don't watch sneak peeks, but I couldn't resist this one.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I am puzzled or excited or both. I mean, this basically means that the author just swapped all the roles right? More or less, i mean? Because Snow's anger is similar to what Regina's was.
ReplyDeleteIs "the boy" Henry?
ReplyDeleteI assume so.
ReplyDeleteYeah I do too but not as evil queen 2.0
ReplyDeleteThis feels so wicked. So unatural but so epic at the same time.
ReplyDeleteSo Snow was dating Charmings Twin, James LMFAO!
So the boy? Regina's followers? Intriguing? But who is going to save Regina?

ReplyDeleteI agree with you. I don't expect too much from finale after season 2 and 3 finales disappointed me
ReplyDeleteI LOVE DARK SNOW! I am really liking the role reversal of regina and snow. ah so excited for sunday!
ReplyDeleteGinny is truly rocking this role. She brings a different quality to the Evil Queen. ReplyDeleteGinny is great. I love it

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing... The real question is: Why would Snow want him...? And, if James is Snow's "True Love" what is Emma now?
ReplyDeleteBut why shouldn't people voice their opinions just because they're negative? Even if you feel they are poorly justified because they haven't watched the episode yet, maybe they're basing their complaints on what the show has provided them with in the past. I love OUaT, but it's fairly inconsistent, a good episode is almost always immediately followed by a bad one. ReplyDeleteWho was Regina hoping to encounter once see opened that door?
ReplyDeleteSo, James was Evil Snow's true love...i fear to understand what place Charming David took in Evil Snow's life...
ReplyDeleteCharming's look>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
ReplyDeleteIf Regina is the new snow white Belle definetly has to be the dark one
This looks fun, but I'm a bit afraid. I hope that the reality won't be messed up by this. I hated last year's finale. Plz let this be better!
ReplyDeleteI loved season 2 finale, but hated the season 3 one. So yeah, I'm looking forward to it, but... my excitement is nowhere to how it used to be. I'm a bit anxious as well.
ReplyDeleteGah! This is gonna be fun!
ReplyDeletethis is so wrong in so many uncountable ways, yeah it'd make sense Dark Mary Margaret's Daniel to be James. They're looking for Henry? the "boy" HAS to be Henry right?
ReplyDeleteSex slave, just like Huntsman in Regina's life as a queen.
ReplyDeleteDavid is her Graham and James is her Daniel
ReplyDeletewait you're right, Emma shouldn't even be born, i can't believe i just realized that
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY!
ReplyDeletedid everyone forget snow white had a son?
ReplyDeleteNeal Blanchard-Nolan! You're absolutely right!
ReplyDeleteeveryone forgot that snow white had a son apparently.
ReplyDeleteso you think instead of having Emma she had Henry?
ReplyDeleteFifty shades of Snow ???? I'm fond of Evil Snow...
ReplyDeleteNot "who", but "what". This carriage is armoured so inside there should be only treasures to survive in forrest.
ReplyDeleteAnd that would make Hook... Peter Pan?
ReplyDeleteand in the next second they are out of that book and back inth the first book and Emma still has two very real problems to solve Lily and Rumple and the Darkness
ReplyDeleteWhat Regina said on 1:40 - 1:52, please?
ReplyDeleteAll this killing will only bring more hatred into your life and all you'll be left with is a hole in your heart, with no hope of ever finding true happiness.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that makes sense. Silly me, Regina is bandit now after all.
ReplyDeleteoh my God you're right, Baby Neal!!!!!!! WOW cannot believe i forgot about him
ReplyDeleteI agree with you completely! I loved the S3 finale even though that was unrelated, and I think that this is going to be great and something we haven't seen before. And in interviews, Adam and Eddy said that someone is going to die, so it will affect all the characters somewhat.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteI still think Rumple dies for good he has a true love kiss with Belle breaking his curse then he dies
ReplyDeleteWhy do i think that Robert is going to be busy for the next year promoting and making films does he really have time
P.S. Don't worry I am always wrong
As per the usual Once Upon a Time MO, season 4 actually ended with last week's episode, i.e. 'Mother'. ReplyDeleteMe too. " loved season 2 finale, but hated the season 3 one."
ReplyDeleteI did.
ReplyDeleteDoubt it. Rumble pretty much wrote the book.
ReplyDeleteHe's just a baby.
ReplyDeleteIf Regina is Snow, is Emma Regina and Robin Hood's daughter? Is she Evil Snow and Huntsman Charming's daughter? Evil Snow and James' daughter? Who are Emma's parents in this alternative story?!
ReplyDeleteAnd he is "a boy" too.
ReplyDeleteOMG I WISH RUMPLE STAY THIS BRAVE KNIGHT OMG HENRY WOULD BE SO PROUD OF HIS GRANDPA
ReplyDeleteSnow is great.
ReplyDeleteRumple as a knight and hero. Its just pure odd. Its like a joke lol.
Henry is going to save the day
ReplyDeleteSnow White didn't have a son at that point in the story.
ReplyDeleteAlso, is Neal still Henry's dad? Is Emma still his mom? How did Neal and Emma met?
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a hilarious episode!
ReplyDeleteHenry is like a loophole imo. Also he was never in the original storybook was he...
ReplyDeleteNo, he couldn't be. Emma was there only as a newborn baby before being sent from the enchanted forest to our world.
ReplyDeletewhoa THAT's where they are, in the new Book, i thought Henry would use an alias like Emma did, that's so MESSED up
ReplyDeleteand i can't wait to see it, i don't think The Author expected Henry
ReplyDeleteI like this version of Rumple. Make me sad to know he can't stay that way!
ReplyDeletehe sounds like a douche honestly
ReplyDeletei'm loving all this Henry-centric news, he and Emma are my favorite characters and i'm glad that they're putting the focus back on him
ReplyDeleteThe Dark One would say this words, when he would see himself as a knight LOL
ReplyDeleteoh dear, I laughed so much about the 2nd Sneek Peak: Rumple as a knight, only thing missing was the flash of his gold tooth.... couldn't resist do make this.
What autor said on 1:09 - 1:14, please?
ReplyDeleteAnd you know what they say: You don't have to be faster than the ogre, you just have to be faster than the next guy.
ReplyDeleteLOL i could SO see that
ReplyDeleteThx. And what rample said on 2:05 - 2:09, please? Thanks
ReplyDeleteGood deeds have their own reward. This comes with no price.
ReplyDeleteThe author is clearly a jerk. I understand we're going to get his back story, so hopefully we learn why he's a jerk. But I love the idea of Henry as the hero! And Brave Sir Rumple is cracking me up. Lol!
ReplyDeleteThe 3rd isn't playing for me. O.o
ReplyDeleteThank U!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful preview. Great service to Baelfire and Rumple's love to him.
you're welcome :-)
ReplyDeleteoh yes, a great Sneak Peek for all Rumple fans... I've always in my minds, what Rumple said to Regina:
found it from a Rumple-Twitter-fan, as am I. And it's so true
And that he doesn't want to forget Baelfire, I love him for this even more. He has heart, although not all like Gold/Rumple

I wonder if Rumple will die! :\ as much as I don't like what he has done... i don't want him to go
ReplyDeleteand I love so much how much viewers hate him, shows me what a great actor Mr. Carlyle is LOL
ReplyDeletebetter not, Rumple dies...remember what he said in the last episode to Regina, if only The Dark One stays back:
ReplyDeleteHe is tremendous and just because of that I don't want a HE for him. He doesn't deserve it. ^^
ReplyDeletewell written :-)
ReplyDeletei found this scene terrible ! and i can't help thinking what would be the Dark One without Rumple humanity inside !
ReplyDeleteI would only live in fear to know that only the Dark One exist, with no part from Rumple in him. People of Storybrooke and Enchanted Forest have to fear too... even Belle, I think he would not remember Belle, after the part of Rumple "would have gone".
ReplyDeleteTrue, but the dark one can die too, and if he dies, so does Rumple...
ReplyDeleteI think the author is writing them a new past, starting from the moment they are. ReplyDeleteI was thinking along those lines too ... But phew. It's going to be complex if they go down that road. So for instance, by your logic, Regina would still have, say, killed her father - but how, if she is a good person in the new past? And that's just one example. And what will they know and remember when they are back in the present? It's really going to be interesting.

So will only stay back a black heart from the Dark One, and there will never be good in it, only black, hate, evil...and that what he meant with: a friendly warning....
ReplyDeleteWhat autor said on 1:04 - 1:09 in third sneak peek, please?
ReplyDelete"No, no. That's your world. I like roomservice and indoor plumbing."
ReplyDeleteI think the author can change their memories! So he can change them to make them think, per example, that Regina's father died in a battle or something...
ReplyDelete
