NBC Passes on The Curse of the Fuentes Women, ABC Passes on The 46 Percenters, CBS Passes on Multiple Pilots *Updated*
May 8, 2015
Pilot ShowsUpdate: CBS has also passed on Taxi-22 and Untitled Dan O’Shannon comedy.
From the pilots left at various networks, NBC has passed on The Curse of the Fuentes Women, ABC has passed on sitcom The 46 Percenters and CBS has passed on Happy Life and Untitled Tommy Johnagin comedy
So much for NBC joining teh diversity wagon. BOO THEM. The idea sounded interesting.
ReplyDeleteDefinetly not the best TV pcking up new shows days for me. None of the ones i really liked were picked up.
I think it's safe to say that all other remaining ABC pilots are dead too.
ReplyDeleteHopefully CBS will make a move later today. And hopefully NBC picks up some more dramas.
ReplyDeleteDon't you thin Runner still has a chance. From Buzz articles it was always receiving some buzz so maybe they will pick this one
ReplyDeleteIt surprised me how much they renewed. Most surprising was American Crime, followed by Galavant and Agent Carter.
ReplyDeleteI expected ACarter to be renewed so it was not big surprise for me.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Crime and Galavant on the other side were huge surprises. I guess AC because of it's critical acclaim. But i see no reason for Galavant. The way they scheduled it i thought they just wanted to get rid of it ASAP
Okay today CBS and NBC have to make their BIG moves. Should be fun.
ReplyDeleteHoping for Angel from Hell and That Adam Brody comedy to get a chance.
Sad for LaFuentes women.
So glad we're still getting a continuation of what's been passed/picked up. I really thought i had to wait tomorrow morning for them to start again.
ReplyDeleteI would like the Adam Brody comedy too.
ReplyDeleteSame here. CBS has a lot of work to do today.
ReplyDeleteJust waiting for the inevitable news about Constantine. Either way, I will be fine with it.
ReplyDeleteIs anyone finding odd that Minority Report hasn't been picked up yet? It has seemed like such a lock.
ReplyDeleteABC has so many shows for next season, they don't even need anymore.
ReplyDeleteFOX has only picked one drama, they will probably pick more up tonight.
ReplyDeleteI really like him and think the story sounds different and interesting.
ReplyDeleteYes for sure, but MR has sounded like such a huge sure thing all the time that I am surprised they picked up all the comedies and one other drama before.
ReplyDeleteI was really looking forward to The Curse of the Fuentes Woman please at least pick up Warrior
ReplyDeleteI hope NBC picks up Game of Silence or whatever is called now.
ReplyDeleteI think that NBC is viewing the topics in People Are Talking as "diversity" and they are probably mistaken.
ReplyDeleteNBC has Telenovela and Shades Of Blue to appeal to Hispanic audiences. The Curse Of The Fuentes Women being passed on was a surprise since it had some buzz, but it would have likely only worked paired with one of those two shows.
Game Of Silence seems to be losing favor. Which is a shame because I think that it would find an audience. As for what will get picked up, nothing will surprise me. NBC already picked their frontrunners on their drama side (how Heartbreaker ended up being one of those, who knows).
ReplyDeleteWell that sucks. I just want David Lyons back in some tv show.
ReplyDeleteI guess they liked Galababt creatively and since it's only a bridge for Once, it's not really taking a place on the schedule. Maybe they will pair it with The Muppets.
ReplyDeleteBTW, if you thought yesterday was insane, you've seen nothing yet.
ReplyDeleteI hope CBS picks up doubt
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for Uncle Buck
ReplyDeleteGame of Silence would be great for the FOX network
ReplyDeleteMy heart stopped when I saw that CBS update.
ReplyDeleteSo Taxi22 is dead.
Oh no, too bad for Taxi-22 :(
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Super Clyde is still in contention. This is so sad.
ReplyDeleteWow at Taxi-22. I thought that CBS would pick that one up.
ReplyDeleteI don't want Axl gone on The Middle :(
ReplyDeletePick limitless cbs, cmom!
ReplyDeleteI do not think they can beat yesterday
ReplyDeleteSue is in college too, how does this work? At least they renewed it already lol. Axl is as underrated on The Middle as the show itself is.
ReplyDeletethissss!
ReplyDeleteUncle Buck has been picked up to series.
ReplyDeleteDeadline says Doubt is fading ... that is so sad, Supergirl + Code Black + Doubt are the only ones i care about from CBS
ReplyDeleteNow we know why Battle Creek has life - Sneaky Pete has huge penalty so if CBS doesn't pick SP, BC gets call instead of penalty.
ReplyDeleteI am still not convinced cbs is willing to cancel toc
ReplyDeleteIt is just too weird to think of The Middle without one of the 5 core family members. If any were to depart it would be a hole that would be felt big time.
ReplyDeleteI guess Axl goes into a foreign exchange program? Otherwise I don't know how they'll handle it
1.5 last night on a Thursday led by TBBT. They can't be that stupid, it is The Millers 2.0
ReplyDeleteCBS is most likely going to (inadvertently) try.
ReplyDeleteBattle Creek is still in contention? You've gotta be kidding me!
ReplyDeleteLimitless is even better than the movie. It must be picked up.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? If that show gets renewed, it will be the shocker of the century. Bigger than Galavant and American Crime combined
ReplyDeleteI'd feel bad for Sue though, so excited to see Axl in college :(
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe it
ReplyDeleteI will be happy. I watch it. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd i love the cast!
ReplyDeleteSay what?!?
ReplyDeleteI wrote it before, but Limitless and For Justice were the two must pick ups for CBS. Seems like For Justice isn't going to make it, which is a shame.
ReplyDeleteTBH that would not surprised me much.
ReplyDeleteThey ARE.
ReplyDeleteAren't these announcements supposed to be coming next week? I'm not complaining..just confused.
ReplyDeleteSchedules are announced in the upfronts.Rest will be announced by this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI hadnt even heard of For Justice
ReplyDeleteThis year it is insane. Watch Weird Loners making it on to the fall schedule
ReplyDeleteI wish NBC would so something freaky wih about a boy now
Nothing for my future OTP of Adam and Tracy.
ReplyDeleteAre you serious? It is sub 1s.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. It's like the networks are trying to compete against each other for "shocking renewal of the year" award.
ReplyDeleteOf course it is steady. There is almost no space to go down
ReplyDeleteShchedules are released during the upfronts as well as promos for new shows. So they have to make these announcement prior to that.
ReplyDeleteIf this actually happens i will change my prediction formulas to assume renewal for any Sony show.
ReplyDeletePer EW: Fox isn't confirming the fates of any of its bubble shows until its fall schedule is announced next week
ReplyDeleteI mean, why?
CBS should deal with the veterans as well btw
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell? They have already cancelled mindy though
ReplyDeleteDo they have any other bubble show than The Following?
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Bones negotiation is causing a holdup and they dont want it to be obvious that is the only show still bubble?
ReplyDeleteBones
ReplyDeleteBones was just renewed
ReplyDeleteSo we should hear about all renewals/cancellations today? I've already seen some; just wondering if CBS will be part of that.
ReplyDeleteAnd they need to cancel Backstorm, Weird Loners and Mulaney but, well.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the Bones fans. S11 is quite an achievement.
ReplyDeleteBones just got renewed.
ReplyDeleteAnd Bones has just been renewed http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/05/bones-renewed-for-11th-season.html
ReplyDeleteFOX could easily win it if they renew either Mulaney or Weird Loners, but if that happens the Earth will explode
ReplyDeleteToday and tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWhy is all the info trickling in?....just rip the bandaid.
ReplyDeleteBe careful what you wish for. :P :)
ReplyDeleteI doubt it, but we'll see later tonight
ReplyDeleteIf Battle Creek is indeed renewed, I will give you a big point though
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine that. Really.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened yesterday?
ReplyDeleteGalavant and American Crime got renewed
ReplyDeleteA deluge of ABC announcements.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a huge shocker.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, where did you see this? I can't find it.
ReplyDeletea happy shocker. i enjoy the show.
ReplyDeleteThe CW picked up a Showtime pilot, ABC renewed Galavant, ABC renewed American Crime and supposedly sure things to be picked up like Shied spin off and NBA comedy fell through.
ReplyDeleteIs it weird that I hadn't heard of either of those shows...lol
ReplyDeleteI think it was in their AoS spin-off passed on article.
ReplyDeleteI would've passed on all of these myself anyway.
ReplyDeleteThey are no more bubble shows with Fox-They are cancelled anyway (baring the annoucement)they just need to get on with it-onto another matter now and The Frankenstien Code has been ordered to series
ReplyDeletewhat are the upfronts? Maybe that's why I am confused...
ReplyDeleteDid anyine see NBC picked up a Dick Wolf reality show lol
ReplyDeleteIs that it for today? or is there more to come?
ReplyDeleteConstantine Cancelled...
ReplyDeleteNeither can I; should they do it my mind would explode
ReplyDeleteA little, since they were both covered in the site since they were ordered xD
ReplyDeleteFrom all those the only one I was mildly interested in was the Fuentes Women, but even that I don't mind so much.
ReplyDelete
