Judging from backstory I'd say Cyborg. Pretty sure if there's a Lantern it'll be Hal. Given they're using sliver age Flash. He's the silver age Lantern. Coast City will be involved in the flashbacks, Green Arrow and him have a comics friendship, and the constant references to Ferris Air and even him on the Flash.
So... Sarah was resurrected using the Lazarus Pit?. In that case, maybe I can reconcile myself with the fact that they let Malcolm live and even teamed up with him for a while. If he had been an "irrevocable" murderer, I don't think I could have accepted them letting him get away with it. Which means that I might watch at least another couple of episodes of Arrow next season, after all. Maybe I can just fast-forward past all the Olicity parts or do some quick chores while they're showing those...
Reconcile? I really never get that problem. At the time it made twisted sense. Plus Malcolm's cool and a good foil to have around. People make it sound like they were friends with him, they weren't even close to that. Ra's al Ghul resurrecting her would show that he's not a complete dick. I doubt they'll be much in the way of Olicity angst given the supposed lighter tone.
In my world, if someone takes the life of someone you love -- not as an accidental by-product of some scheme or another, but as a deliberate, integral part of one of that person's nefarious, self-serving schemes, then you don't rest until that person is punished. You certainly don't make him the new leader of the criminal organisation that you have just -- at great cost -- defeated. At best, you give him a head start, before you hunt him down, once the truce - if a truce was necessary -- is over.
You don't kill them though not when you're trying to not do that anymore. And killing really not something Oliver likes. His face when he killed Ra's he hated doing that. And him making Malcolm Ra's was literally the only option to deal with the league. The league needs a leader to dismantle or control it. And Malcolm is the only one besides Oliver alive who fits that. He's a guy (Ra's is a sexist), he survived his blade and he was given control by Ra's heir apparent Al Sahim.
I am really excited for this show. I want to know what super hero Jay Jackson is. Also I am waiting for the introduction of Martin Stein and Heat wave. Heat Wave is going to have such a crush on Firestorm. ;)
That sounds exactly like what he described. But a hockey mask LOL and killing domestic terrorists. Looks like a combination of Diggle, Oliver and Casey Jones. I like him but the foot ball jersey among these other heroes smh.
Yeah he is a bit all over the place, but they don't have to take all of his character. Think they will take his college history and tie him to marines over his dad or something giving him fighting experience or something. And the actor really seems like he fits this rebellious role, just where he fits the big scheme. Sounds interesting. I hope they confirm his at SDCC.
It's not Cyborg obviously. And not John Stewart ( plus I heard the movies might use him). That's why I said Hal will probably be the Lantern (or even future Lantern) to appear if one would.
Isn't Cyborg locked in for the JLA movie though?. Would be very odd to first take away a bunch of characters because of the movies but then throw them another also appearing in movies.
I am not too fond of him either. But he is not developed at all. He is just a psychotic arsonist as of now. Maybe with more focus they might be able to improve him. I do think his reaction to Firestorm will be funny.
Well, seeing as they might be using Barry as their MU Flash too though, maybe they're finally relaxing on their rules...? I dunno, but everything that was teased about the Jay character in that clip sounded like Cyborg...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I seriously can't wait for this. I wish they would shift Tatsu/Katana as regular here as well. That would make this show even more perfect.
ReplyDeleteI am really excited for White Canary, i can't wait to see official trailer after they shoot pilot
No new information but I enjoyed watching this all the same. Waiting for this show will be the death of me. I am so obsessed with it already.
ReplyDeleteDamn I CAN'T wait for this until January !!!!!
ReplyDeleteSooooo Jay Jackson's going to a version of Green Lantern ....... right ?
What is the Teen Titans series coming again ?

ReplyDeleteSara was never Black Canary. She was The Canary.

ReplyDeleteVery true.
ReplyDeleteThe Canary ( a translation of her League name as Ta-er al-Safar Arabic for Yellow Bird طائر الصفار )

ReplyDeleteI have been hoping and hoping that Tatsu would be a regular on one of the 3 interlocked shows.

I maybe have a clue on who JJ is. I randomly googled "DC character who is a automechanic"
ReplyDeleteAnd this boy is what I got http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Dog_(comics)
And Kudos to me seems like a pretty good guess.

ReplyDeleteI misunderstood Ur comment sorry. Yeah JJ is no GL as said I think he will be this Wild Dog, the stories just fall into place.
ReplyDeleteKatana was taken off the DC TV Universe remember?
ReplyDeleteRight?! i don't like when people automatically call her The BLACK Canary when the creators very explicitly called her The Canary.
ReplyDeleteI personally hate Heatwave, he's too over-the-top for me, i wish it was only Cold coming to DC's Legends of Tomorrow
ReplyDeleteI need this show NOW!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the guy. He is a nice foil to Snart's cool personality.
ReplyDeleteYeah but come in, in his first appearance he sounded like an idiot in the police station.
ReplyDeleteHe's so Cyborg...
ReplyDeleteIsn't Cyborg locked in for the JLA movie though?. Would be very odd to first take away a bunch of characters because of the movies but then throw them another also appearing in movies.
ReplyDeletePart of why I like the guy.
