Well, it's a show that employs time travel. It would be crazy to think we wouldn't see stuff like this. Nice helmet though. I'd like to see a close-up, high res photo of that. Looks like they did a good job with it.
I wonder...could Franz Drameh's character be a black Jay Garrick? Could be just a coincidence but he was cast as 'Jay Jackson', both mention Jay. I believe the casting mentioned he had a football career too which Jay did for a while. He also got his powers in a surprising way.
In some earlier versions of his origin, Vandal Savage also originally comes from Earth-2 the same place as Jay Garrick...
I was talking to Graydon earlier about DC's Multiverse. Legends of Tomorrow could be a great way to introduce the Multiverse. About Drameh's character, i still believe it's a version of Black Lighting...
Yeah Black Lightning makes sense, but I don't see why they'd keep him hidden. Which makes me think theirs something more to it. Originally I was thinking maybe Cyborg and they wanted to do a big reveal, but with the movies using him I doubt they'd be allowed to (although they were allowed to use Barry).
The thing with Barry is that i don't think Ezra Miller is playing Barry Allen. I actually thought Grant Gustin was an odd choice for Barry on the first time, since he actually doesn't look like Barry. Now, i think Ezra will actually play Bart Allen. That's why they could use Barry. Same if they want to bring Green Lantern to Flarrow. The movies are said to use John Stewart. That would make Hal Jordan available to use on TV(something i'm quite sure it will happen in Season 2 of Flash, after last episode). Maybe they're still unsure who Drameh will play. I mean, the show doesn't even has a pilot script yet. They could have a few heroes on hand for him to play.
We are set to see/meet the entire Legends Team ( Dr. Martin Stein / Ronnie Raymond aka Firestorm, Ray Palmer aka The Atom, Sara Lance aka White Canary, Rip Hunter, Kendra Saunders aka Hawkgirl, Jay Jackson, Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold and Mick Roy aka Heat Wave ) in The Flash finale right ?
Jay exists in a different Earth which is part of the multiverse. The concept of the multiverse hasn't been properly introduced yet so no one would know about him.
In the classic comics he gained his powers by breathing in hard/heavy water vapors while on a smoke break. That led to his dormant metagenes to be activated.
In the new 52, he is given his powers by the dying Roman God Mercury.
That's the rumor, yes. We know for a fact that Stein, Cold and Ronnie are in it. Now, there was a pic of Kendra Saunder's trailer on The Flash... So it's possible that shot of her looking at the distance it's the same scene of Stein and Cold on the Flash Finale promo.
Now, i think Sara will appear on Season 4A of Arrow. Remember when LoT premieres, half of a Season of Arrow and Flash will be aired.
I would not be surprise if Sara return is what trigger to wear the suit again......it is possible that HIVE/Darkh brought her back as a weapon against team arrow.....
I'm kind of hoping 'Jay Jackson' is just a code name and come the pilot episode we will learn his name is actually John Diggle the III and he's John and Lyla's grandson/'baby' Sara's nephew or / John Diggle Jr. and he's John and Lyla's son/baby Sara's younger brother from the future.
I think Digg will get into trouble while investigating HIVE and New Team Arrow(that being Digg, Black Canary and Speedy) will ask for Oliver and Felicity to return so they can help them. They'll come back and Oliver will get f**k up some plan of Darhk again and he will realize the one who has been messing up with him for the past three years is none other than Oliver Queen. He will also be revealed that he's Felicity's father. That should be more than enough to have them become a team again and going against Darhk. I also picture him as someone who would collect warriors to brainwash them and use them as weapons. He would have collected Sara's body and will unleash her into our heroes. Fun fact is that he is Sheldon Cooper smart. Whatever plan Team Arrow could come up, he will beat them. If we were to believe David Ramsey, Season 4 will be very Oliver, Digg and Felicity centric.
Do you really think Darhk will be Felicity's father. He is said to be 100's of years old if Ra's is to be believed. Why would he play house with a cocktail waitress and bring up a child till she is 7 years old?
I would like Felicity's father to be a right hand person of Darhk or an undercover ARGUS agent who is now working against HIVE. Not every daddy needs to be completely bad.
If Green Lantern comes to Flarrow universe it will be really neat. I have hope since Oliver is going to coast city in the flashbacks. And this move will also ensure these shows will remain on air for longer. People really want to see a tv justice league. So many comic shows to follow next year.
Well, we don't know how much present he was over those years... we don't even know if he ever married Donna. We just know that when she was 7 he went away and never came back. He could just be a father who visited them from time to time or maybe he really fell in love with Donna but he couldn't let go of who he was and ended up leting tem go. He seems to live a much "normal" life than Ra's. He follows the League's rules but without the mysticism of them. The character it's just too perfect to be Felicity's father and David said that when we "know who Felicity's father is", we will "know why nobody could win her on a brain fight". It makes sense.
In the last flashback scene of finale when Oliver gets on that ship there was a US flag with Coast City written on it. So the ship was sailing to coast city.
Is that the same helmet we spotted when Smallville did Justice Society of America which is where Jay Garrick appeared in the painting which features hourman and the original JSA and also the show that CW wanted to develop back in 2011.
Btw not sure where but there is a statue of ppl in Central City Police Department that says Truth, Liberty, Justice representing the JSA.
I believe it's more then a rumor. The production team mentioned to...I believe MTV? That it will happen. They were trying to shop around a Booster Gold show to Syfy potentially set in the Flarrow-universe but it's dead as of late last year. They now have the ability to use him in Flash since his rights aren't tied up anywhere.
Blue Beetle is in a weird situation. They wanted to use Ted Kord this season on Arrow instead of Ray Palmer but were told they weren't allowed to because DC had big plans for him. Previously they were trying to sell a Blue Beetle show to Cartoon Network when they undergoing their restructure. But when their live action shows bombed, they pulled out.
My guess is they still want to get that Blue Beetle show to happen which is why he couldn't be used on Arrow, but it's on the backburner. They're more concerned with getting a series order for Preacher and Blackbirds at the moment.
Oddly enough. Caity is on the IMDB page for the finale. Could it be just typical IMDB inaccuracy, or maybe, Barry travels to a point in time where he meets the LoT team??
But honestly, even tho I'm meh about him being Felicity's dad, we did see the "immortal man tries to live a normal life" on Full Metal Alchemist, and it was heartbreaking. Could Arrow be as nuanced? ehhhhh.
I am not really on board with giving Felicity a supernatural daddy. I would rather he be a mad scientist with grey morality working with Darhk or ARGUS. I am not sure Arrow can pull off a nuanced villain. They tried with Ra's by giving him monologues about his past every other episode. Even Merlyn's redemption flashback story rang so false. Its better for villains to be super villains on Arrow.
I don't trust IMDB. But it could also be that LoT team might travel back in time and come save Barry's ass from Eobard or to stop Eobard or Barry from messing with time lines as Rip Hunter said he is tasked with the job of maintaining timelines.
Hey, remember when we though Ra's was going to be this cool, morally ambiguous villain? HAHAHAHA, good times!
But yeah, Not really into the idea of a SPN daddy for Felicity, but It wouldn't be a dealbreaker if handled correctly (but what's the record for that?)
so much Green Lantern reference.. coast city, the ship (arrow s3 ending), and the mentioned the pilot (Hal Jordan), who disappeared.. I want to see him now :D
Preacher has been confirmed to be picked up by AMC and they already casted to ppl for the major roles lol. I even submitted the report to Spoilertv but they never posted lol
The city name on a ship is not it's destination, but it's "home port", where it's registered and sail out of. It's probably just another small Green Lantern reference. Oliver still need to end up in Russia, learn Russian and become a Bratva Captain.
Unless they're ignoring that, like so much else that was established in season 1...
I think Russia will come in play some time during next season. But I guess he is going to Coast City at the beginning. SA mentioned Coast City as one of the story thread on an interview during upfronts. But until some definite spoilers come out once they start shooting nothing is for sure. Stephen might be guessing.
Honey, you can make the devil morally ambiguous. If because a character is named after some nomenclature of "demon" he has to be evil, that's a vanilla sentiment if there ever was.
And about assassin; have you ever even heard about assassin's creed?
(Sigh) Yes to both, but guess what Demon's aren't the devil and this isn't a videogame. And I'm disappointed in you for not knowing who one of the greatest and mot well known DC villains is. I assume you saw Batman Begins? That's far worse bud. That's almost as bad as saying hey remember when we thought the Joker wasn't a psychopathic clown?
Yeah but they could twist his story somehow that he accidentely went to the future and doesn't know how to returen. There are theories that that 3rd new character is playing Jay.
Patting in the head your attempt at "fake geeking" me, and trying to re-rail this conversation to an actual point, you know, what I was actually talking about before your wildly speculative sojourn: Morality.
Not because a character carries the term demon on their name (which pre-abramaic religions is mostly referring to a supernatural entity) or has to do with assassins (which, you know, like the game exposed to popular culture, as a organization of arabic origins, which its point wasn't just be evil) means they are EVIL.
Moral ambiguity has nothing to do with being a "big bad" you know that, right?
Ra's didn't have to be "evil", even if he was called Baddie and ruled the Baddest Peeps. You know, it is interesting when a character or group that seems to be evil have their own moral code, even when they are antagonistic of our heroes. Their morality just has to clash in an aspect to put them at odds.
So again, why it is so unfathomable to your mind that Ra's could have been a morally ambiguous, grey character. Too complicated for you? He can't be the Demon's head, leader of the League of Assassins and have a point?
Cause I seriously don't even know what your point is.
Clearly. My point is that while Ra's began as a some what unclear morally character, and has aspects of it, he's not. And basically everyone knew that besides you apparently. You're joking, right? i love moral ambiguity in characters. I don't think it makes villains necessarily better or cooler, or even deeper though (hard to understand- please). Ra's' point in the show is the same as the comics to get an heir and produce a dynasty who will continue his quest to wipe the filfth of humanity (and by that I mean most of humanity) from existence. That was his goal in Arrow. Oh and one thing don't ever insult my intelligence. But thanks for the lesson on demons, assassins, and morality that I've known for a while.
See, you actually made a point here (Although Malcolm? that's moral ambiguity done wrong, flipity flop) Sure, I think a villain like Ra's would have been more compelling as morally ambiguous character with tangible goals beyond revenge and blowing up a city, you don't, that's called disagreeing.
You didn't had to start your thessis with HURR demon DURR assassin HURR DURR evil.
You know the fact that you're being a condescending dick really takes the fun out of this. And again I pointed out Ra's goals are more than destroying a city (which was more of a secondary objective) and you ignore that. No instead you belittle me and add nothing. Yeah talking to you so much fun. Btw don't talk down to me again not a wise idea.
"(Ra's) Morally ambiguous? His name means Demon's Head in Arabic how could people mistake him for anything other than a monster?"
Hey, you set the tone for the conversation; it's really hypocritical that you get down to whining.
Yes, I know that Ra's wanted an heir, carry on his legacy yada yada, his endgame still was destroying a city and killing an adversary; they built up a motivation (not that this show really did ever really get into the why's of Ra's) that could have resolved so many better ways than just "let's shit on Starling again, it's May!" and "I will kill my enemy since I am here"
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I have absolutely no idea what this means, but I'm excited.
ReplyDeleteWow Jay Garrick is massive! The First flash would be wow.
ReplyDeleteThey are to good to Us!!!!!!!

That would be reallly cool.
ReplyDeleteWe know Barry disappears in 2024 .... so I assume Rip is from further into the future then that right ?
ReplyDeleteYeah. If they keep his comic origin then he's Booster Gold's son. And Booster Gold was born in the year 2400~ (2442 I think).
ReplyDeleteIt sure would.
ReplyDeleteHow cool would it be to see J.D./J.J. working along side his aunt's/sisters name sake.
I am so glad all these shows are getting more and more inter connected. But I hope next season there is not scheduling mess up from CW.

ReplyDeleteI thought there was some recognition there when Henry talked with Barry about speed at STAR labs.
ReplyDeleteFor you
ReplyDeleteI so want this to happen.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course this.
ReplyDeleteRumor's speculated Booster would pop up on Flash and Blue Beetle i think as well...tho not sure why DC doesn't wanna do a show on Blue Beetle
ReplyDeleteI pity the fools who try to steal my ring lol.

John Diggle the III aka J.D. will have no problem. ;)
ReplyDeleteWOW! a,m i blind! i WAS wondering why they kept showing the boat LOL
ReplyDeleteYeah
ReplyDeleteI believe it's more then a rumor. The production team mentioned to...I believe MTV? That it will happen. Yeah in Smallville Jay was in the painting. I believe he was still around too but he had retired from superhero life.
ReplyDeleteOddly enough. Caity is on the IMDB page for the finale. Could it be just typical IMDB inaccuracy, or maybe, Barry travels to a point in time where he meets the LoT team??

Eobard trying to fuck up with the timeline WOULD be something the Time Masters (keepers?) would be all over tbh.
ReplyDeleteso much Green Lantern reference.. coast city, the ship (arrow s3 ending), and the mentioned the pilot (Hal Jordan), who disappeared.. I want to see him now :D
ReplyDeleteMaybe he is from the future.
ReplyDeleteit would be cool--> John= the black Green Lantern.. yeah.
ReplyDeletebut Oliver is a retired hero now or what? they didn't even mentioned Green Arrow... just THE arrow
Preacher has been confirmed to be picked up by AMC and they already casted to ppl for the major roles lol. I even submitted the report to Spoilertv but they never posted lol
ReplyDeleteNVM it's in development stage for AMC lol
ReplyDeletePreacher I believe hasn't been picked up to series yet. It was given a pilot order by AMC in December. The pilot started filming a few days ago.
ReplyDeleteI know which is why i replied as fast as i go to tell u nvm lol
ReplyDeleteIt's okay :) it happens.
ReplyDeleteI guess we will get answers in July when SDCC happens.
ReplyDeleteThe city name on a ship

ReplyDeleteYeah but they could twist his story somehow that he accidentely went to the future and doesn't know how to returen.
ReplyDeleteThere are theories that that 3rd new character is playing Jay.
And I hope those are correct. He is cool. But I still want Wally. Then Bart maybe in season 4.
ReplyDeleteYeah that would explain all the secrecy around the character and him not being in the teaser.
ReplyDeletePatting in the head your attempt at "fake geeking" me, and trying to re-rail this conversation to an actual point, you know, what I was actually talking about before your wildly speculative sojourn: Morality.

ReplyDeleteYou didn't had to start your thessis with HURR demon DURR assassin HURR DURR evil.
You know the fact that you're being a condescending dick really takes the fun out of this. Yeah talking to you so much fun. Btw don't talk down to me again not a wise idea.
ReplyDelete"(Ra's) Morally ambiguous? His name means Demon's Head in Arabic how could people mistake him for anything other than a monster?"
ReplyDeleteHey, you set the tone for the conversation; it's really hypocritical that you get down to whining.
Yes, I know that Ra's wanted an heir, carry on his legacy yada yada, his endgame still was destroying a city and killing an adversary; they built up a motivation (not that this show really did ever really get into the why's of Ra's) that could have resolved so many better ways than just "let's shit on Starling again, it's May!" and "I will kill my enemy since I am here"
And you could be less of a dick in this argument, but hey that's not happening either.
ReplyDelete
