Whether or not Defiance joins the binge-watch pile again this season will be decided by it's premiere. I found season 2 really boring.
ReplyDeleteGlad Wayward Pines isn't a dream although I wasn't expecting it to be.
I've never heard of Lumen but I'm interested in it now.
Can't wait to see the Tarrs and the return of Defiance. S2 was such an improvement on S1.

ReplyDeleteLoT I really dig Hawkgirl. She seems so sweet. She has an intriguing backstory with plenty possibility, excited to see how they play it out. Can we somehow kill Ray before they start shooting? I mean we just need to proceed with what they have on hand.
I'm starting to think that JJ won't be a good guy.
Neither can I. I'm re-watching Hannibal right now. I'm on Season 2 and it's just so amazing.
ReplyDeleteSame here. S1 was alright but S2 was highly enjoyable. Can't wait to see all the characters (even Pottinger).
ReplyDeleteAs long as the Starrs are on the road looking for their son and daughter-in-law, I am going to call their experiences as the Misadventures of Stahma and Datak ( those two make quite the pair and are bound to create hijinks).

ReplyDeleteI've forgotten him for his bulging in to Arrow S03 to an extent but even in a 3 minute trailer he was way to much. ~_~

I need to see the pilot of this show first.I have no idea how they're planning to accommodate so many main characters in a 42 min episode for starter.It can either be awesome or very chaotic.I hope The Flash will introduce Rip Hunter,Hawk Girl and lay foundation of their characters same as White Canary(Sara) in Arrow before they move on to LoT mid-season(Jan/Feb).I'll having a hard time to catch up since i'm dropping Arrow but continuing with The Flash & Now LoT.

ReplyDeleteRip not appearing in the premier to stop this mess of a cyclone would be unforgiveable. But I would let Hawkgirl be a LoT original and there explore where she is coming from.
U're right LoT can be a huge mess or a blessing from the Heavens. It will be really interesting. January seems to far away.
Arrow has become too Olicity centric.Felicity's character is completely destroyed,Laurel & Diggle never getting enough screen presence,Malcolm getting insufferable by each passing episode and Oliver is well..... Oliver.Thea is too childish for me.In other words,i don't care for any of the characters getting prominence right now.Season 2 was great but Season 3 was so bad that i had to drop it finally after that horrundous finale.BTW,i'm dropping The Originals too next season.Too Klaus centric,Not enough space for other characters.

ReplyDeleteI understand U and Ur reasons, but I can't leave a soldier behind (w/e of Grey's they ruined me still didn't watch an episode since 11x20, the one prior to McDreamy's death). My current police is I drop a show if it gets worse than VD season 5B. TO is on an edge but the finale was quite solid so I decided to give it one more chance.
TVD will always a get a pass from me no matter what coz it was the very first Foreign TV show i watched.From there,my whole journey started.Other shows gets no mercy from me.This year,i'm dropping so many shows.Another prominent example-The Blacklist.
ReplyDeleteJust finished the second episode of Wayward Pines. Yup that show is probably going to give me some recurring nightmares. I never thought it was a dream though. If only lol
ReplyDeleteHannibal: Hmmm could this Acorn reference be in relation to squirrel behavior or how far nuts really fall from the tree? For some reason, it seems vaguely familiar to me. I want to say that there is some line about acorns in Hannibal Rising, but I can't really remember so I'll say it's just me being nutty!

ReplyDeleteWayward Pines- WOW!! I'm so loving this show right now. I didn't even consider the different ways the other residents got there. I mean i just thought everyone (at different times of course) who had to drive through Ohio, if they got close, whoever was in charge of the "town" would crash their car. I had the thought last week when they showed the promo for this week's episode. My exact words were "Okay so everyone who goes to Ohio ends up near Wayward Pines?? How the hell does that happen??" Now we'll get to see how it does. By plane, train, hot air balloon. lol It'll be quite interesting.

Sadly it isn't. I wish it would go further as well. IF (that's a big if) they decide to do more than the ten episodes, it'll be a last minute decision.

I'm betting that some of the Criminal Minds new members they're bringing in will be foreign actors & characters, giving the show a more international feel.
