  1. Okay, I actually think Peyton and Ravi are cute together.

Something tells me it's not her noodles at the door. Major, maybe?

  2. Oh no doubt it's that disrespectful looney bin

    ReplyDelete
  3. Oh Liv how i wish it were your noodles, it's that piece of crud that thinks it's okay to make a move on you when you just lost the love of your life. Ravi and Peyton are actually pretty cute, GOD I MISS LOWELL!!!!!!!!! If he were still alive he would be with Liv at that movie night with Ravi and Peyton.

  4. Astroburger key art...

  5. Are you still going to post The Messengers stuff?

  6. I'm curious, besides being in love with Liv what exactly has Major done to elicit so much hate?

I get thinking he's dull and/or bland and/or boring, but the vitriol directed towards him for merely being a love interest of Liv's is a bit much, don't you think?

  7. Kay... Ravi/Peyton is working for me... they're cute!

I'm thinking it's either Clive at the door or Blaine...

  8. If you visit iZombie's facebook you'll see people there crying for Lowell to comeback. They find Major boring too.

    ReplyDelete
  9. No i don't find him bland or boring anymore, at least me anyway. The reason i called him that is because of what he's going to do in the episode that's making me hate him again. I still miss Lowell.

  10. Holy... my eyes thought you put Lowell LOL, God i miss him! You know who it is and what's he's going to do.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Well both characterizations are uncalled for

He's been nothing BUT respectful. Throughout everything might I add... even comforting the girl who ditched him while she was mourning her new boyfriend.

And the only reason he's acting crazy and actually thinks he is crazy is because of Liv's persistence in keeping up the lie.

So really! Give the guy a break, for still being in love and asking for some explanations!

  12. Sounds like its another round of ship wars, iZombie managed to get though most of its first season without it but alas it is law that all CW shows fandoms must get involved in them. Its a shame.

  13. Even I'm starting to like Ravi. He is sweet.
I really hope Peyton survives the season, I'm worried cause Aly wanted to do the Chevy Chase comedy. I hope she wasn't killed of in the finale.

  14. But... How?! WHY?!

One of the guys was a recurring character who was singed on for a limited amount of time and had already booked another show where he's the lead and the other was a regular from day one... it's... man... this is always so mentally exhausting to me...

And I mean I get having preferences. I do!

I ship couples too... the notion is not beneath me...

But making everything in a show a showdown that reflects your romantic couple preferences and vilifying a character just to justify your ship is just so counter productive and misses the point of the bigger picture and the overall story...

I'm sorry... rant over... moving on...

  15. STARTING to? you didn't like Ravi in the beginning? It sucks that we have to worry about characters dying now, i thought this would be a relaxing show. Sure there'd be a serialized element to it but i didn't think we'd have to worry about mortality.

  16. Yeah i guess you're right. what bothers me is the timing of it. Like you said he knew she just lost someone and he does this. In the latest episode Liv had an interesting statement: Major's been buying guns, breaking into cars and fighting people when he DOESN'T know what's going on. Do you think when he finds out he'll go all Zombie Hunter on Seattle?

    ReplyDelete
  17. This from the girl to whom Clive said "Don't go barging into the Max Rager offices" and next thing you know she's in the CEO's face. So for one: She's a bit of a hypocrite.
Two: She is willing to let him believe he is going insane, because she's worried for his safety? Major has had to deal with losing the kids he cares about because the police are covering a zombie conspiracy and because the woman of his dreams broke with him for (from his perspective) no good reason. Her lies and her persistance of keeping them up are partly why he's fllying off the handle. She doesn't get to perpetuate this story for "his well being" when clearly it's not doing him any good in the first place. So no! And if he wants to be pro-active and become a zombie hunter, he's a grown ass man. He can do whatever he wants. Her whole reasoning is weak... and really not her call.

As for the Lowell thing: He didn't know how serious they were. And really they were only dating a few weeks, and now he's not around. Now granted I will give you Liv and Lowell were on their way to becoming serious but really they weren't there yet. And Major has had this thing building for a while. And he has a history with Liv. He's not overreaching going in for a kiss and asking for an explanation at all IMO.

  18. But what do you think he'll do when he DOES find out, not in his relationships but outside of that?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yeah didn't like Ravi in the start. He was quite the pushover, but I gave him space and enjoy his place in the show. We always have to worry. Remember True Calling. I certainly wasn't expecting them to kill her boyfriend in the S01 finale.
Killing people is always a good plot device to give character development and raise the stakes.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Well my approach here is that even in the beginning he wasn't going in guns-a-blazzin'.

    - He was calling the cops to inform them about the missing kids
    Nothing

    - He was innocently looking for information at the skating park.

    He got attacked
    - He teamed up with a reporter. While investigating he found the brains, he got put in prison, lost his job.
    He bought a gun

    - He researched brains and their uses and went undercover to find out more.

He got attacked and thought he killed a guy.
    - He called Clive because calling the cops is what you do.
No body and so he believes he is losing his mind.

It's not like he was acting erratic from the first minute. There was build up, and even now, past his breaking point he's doing the reasonable mature thing.

Who is to say that once he does have all the information he won't take a step back and strategize, do research, try to figure something out constructively?

Could he snap and go look for Blaine half assed? Maybe, but I don't think he would. His behaviour so far doesn't support that,

  21. Huh i thought Ravi was immediately liked by everyone, interesting. Oof why'd you bring Tru Calling up? LOL. I know but they made iZombie sound like an enjoyable relaxed show, i mean it's a procedural for goodness sake LOL

    ReplyDelete
  22. Okay, and what would you enjoy for the character? Him going full-on Zombie Hunter or taking a step back?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Cause it has a similar base like iZombie. And they went after people the lead like just to raise the stakes.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Either or... I'm not picky as long as the execution for the story is done right.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Tru was a solid show. Sadly it ended without a proper ending.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Like most shows do unfortunately, someone made a point that in a show's first and second season they should close the season in case.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Tru was ended in the middle of the season. 5 eps in season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Starting? You didn't already?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Gotta agree with Ravi love the shorts.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I like Major. Sure his name is weird, and he's a little boring at times but his story is decently interesting and he's a good guy.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yeah wasn't a fan. I started to dig him these last couple of episodes.
They are doing a good job in developing his character. He was too much of a cliche for me.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I agree so much. I do love characters getting together and when done well then it can really enrich the characters and the show as a whole, after all we want to get to know these people and we want them to be happy. But like you say its when some fans are only watching for the shipping and they must have their preferred couple together or else everything and everyone sucks. That is when it goes too far and I see it again and again with shows.

    ReplyDelete
  33. the Ravioli shipper in me hopes that Peyton and Ravi does not happen....!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think the problem is that despite many great episodes we still don't have any reason to be invested in Major's relationships with everyone else on the show, especially Liv. As much as Liv's narration has told us time and time again how perfect they were together and how he was the one, we haven't actually had any reason to be invested in their relationship and to mourn Liv's loss, and instead we've watched as Major spirals out with no idea what he was like before. He's an easy character to hate on because we don't have emotional reasons to root for him.

    ReplyDelete
  35. While that argument might have been applicable in the first 3, maybe 4, episodes of the show, I think it's no longer valid.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ooh. I like this one. Much better than last week's.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Aw i kind of liked Scott E. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  38. That was a weird producer's preview. It's like they didn't really give too much information.
