He's in way over his head, and that would be the case even if the supernatural element of dealing with zombies wasn't at play. But I can't not admire his commitment to keep fighting for his kids.
So happy for Rob Thomas that the show is a hit for him. And love the fact that we get cameos from the Verionica Mars alumni. We've had Dick and Wallace - who's next???
Now I'm thinking of a zombie metaphor-laden Stridex pad commercial. Thanks for that. But hey, it's not a zombie show without someone taking a few head shots.
Re the Producers Preview: I think I've said this before but I am glad Liv is confronting Lowell straight on. I do wonder why they didn't address the issue of Ravi having gotten himself bitten by the zombie!Rat. For some reason I don't think Percy's character will be the killer. Having the stunt cast be the killer is too obvious....
Well I think we didn't know enough about Major to make a judgement earlier in the season. But know the character has gotten more things to do than sit around and pine for Liv so it's understandable.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I love the Ravi and Major friendship.
ReplyDeleteDamn. After an ass whoopin' and a jail visit Major keeps digging. I don't know whether to admire his tenacity or call him an idiot for it.
ReplyDeletehow the best of both? LOL
ReplyDeleteRavi isn't turning? Please dont turn Ravi :(
ReplyDeleteYup! It seems like it could turn into a bromance worth rooting for!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm with ivan on this: both... both seems to be the way to go about this...
ReplyDeleteFair. If it weren't for all the mysterious deaths that are going ignored I'd go with "idiot" but under the circumstances I suppose both is acceptable.

ReplyDeleteWallace sighting!
ReplyDeleteNo! No! No! He cannot be the killer!
Also here is the key art/ comic cover for the episode..
ReplyDeleteI like this better than simply drawing a still from the episode. Also, Liv better get to shoot someone in this episode.

ReplyDeleteI do too.
ReplyDeleteSure, Ravi and the rat were cute in animation, but it just felt too on point.
Yep. The one where Liv sews up Major was the same way.
ReplyDeleteWe had Cliff (Daran Norris) in the pilot as well.

I like it when they go a bit more abstract too.
ReplyDeleteIf she does shoot someone I bet it will be with paintballs. Cause I don't think she's ready to face Blaine yet.
The great thing about being a sniper is that you don't have to face him. :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, we both know Blaine isn't going anywhere but he does have expendable henchmen who can be taken out.
Now I'm thinking of a zombie metaphor-laden Stridex pad commercial. Thanks for that. But hey, it's not a zombie show without someone taking a few head shots.
ReplyDeleteI really hope we haven't seem the last of Lowell! They are just too perfect a zombie couple! He can't be a bad zombie - he's too delicious

ReplyDeleteYou know when they said they were having a Veronica Mars alum, i automatically thought Jason Dohring even if i didn't see the show.
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!! Lowell's not lying to Liv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think he will guest on The Messenger.
ReplyDeleteSurprising since Major wasn't an enjoyable character in the beginning.
ReplyDeleteawesome!!! probably Death, Famine or... i forget the third one
ReplyDeleteI didn't hear it clearly before, so Blaine turned Lowell too, GEEZ! is there anyone he DIDN'T turn?
ReplyDeleteWell I think we didn't know enough about Major to make a judgement earlier in the season. But know the character has gotten more things to do than sit around and pine for Liv so it's understandable.
ReplyDeleteSay what you want but is quite the entrepreneur...
