  3. R.I.P Dixie, you will be missed. It had one of the most satisfying series finale IMO.
    You deserved better!

  4. Finally the reveal this

    ReplyDelete
  5. Why did they wait so long to tell us when we already knew I don't get it

    ReplyDelete
  6. I like the show too but the CW dragged this so much when it was obvious that I don't think anyone will truly feel saddened at this point

    ReplyDelete
  7. Surprising news of the century! CW really knows how to keep us in suspense. LOL!

  8. I'll always remember this show as a joyful ride and a show that provided me laughter, heartache when I had a tough time.

  9. Hopefully pick-ups coming soon. I need them to confirm pick up of Cheerleader Death Squad

What was the point to wait several months to announce it?

    ReplyDelete
  11. So they basically denied that it was cancelled, when it was obvious that it was, just to cancel it later... CW logic lol

    ReplyDelete
  12. So that they could bury the cancellation with all their other network news.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yup. Slightly off topic here but, when will we hear about Person of Interest etc? Been checking here ever half hour since 2:00 PM UK time.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I need Cordon only.

    ReplyDelete
  15. CBS will probably start on Saturday.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Took way too long to announce what the whole world already knew.

    ReplyDelete
  17. watching the finale tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I don't watch the show but how was the rating?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Exactly, it is quite ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Better not LOL! That cliffhanger has me checking almost every half hour since I watched it today lol

    ReplyDelete
  21. Why did they deny it when the cast and crew said it was cancelled?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Million dollar question!

    ReplyDelete
  23. No surprise thought it was official already though lol

  24. Since we knew this news Back in March, lets get on with deciding the 47 other show's fates please-these are how the totals add up ABC-19 CBS-13 CW-The Messengers (although we might not get this one this week due to it continuting into the summer.) FOX-5 NBC-9

  25. CW Logic-The biggest mystery of all!

  26. Next up-The Messengers(So sad about this).

    ReplyDelete
  27. In the next 36 hours most likely. U'll have to be patient.

    ReplyDelete
  28. It will either move to Sunday or Friday though.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Since this is the first time since I am following these things so close that CBS didn't do mass renewal before, I do not know what to expect of them.

  30. HOD was the definition of an underdog. It survived the first season against DWTS and The Voice with a horrible Gossip Girl lead in and beat Ringer and Secret Circle (RIP) for renewal. Then it survived on Tuesdays against DWTS, Voice and NCIS by self starting, then it moved back to Mondays and self started against DWTS and Voice with a horrible lead out of BATB and it never went below a million viewers until it moved to Fridays, and even there it did pretty good.

Well done HOD, you had a great run!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Don't think it will happen this week. I hope they'll wait till June, but most likely it will be cancelled till the upfronts.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I meant in the sense it is only show left to cancel this season, whenever that may be.

    ReplyDelete
  33. *slow Clap* R.I.P.

    Better than Reign, BATB...

  35. On a friday night!

  36. I'm still sad to see the show go, but I'm glad the CW finally said something.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Ohh that yes! Sadly yes.
I really started to get invested. I never should've watched it in the first place but I couldn't let it alone.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I never watched the show but from what I gathered it always seemed like a nice little series and it got a lovely series finale apparently so well done HOD for lasting as long as you did. Sometimes nice and comforting is needed.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I started watching it knowing full well it will get axed,so no regrets from my end.I'll watch it till the end.BTW,It just got cancelled according to Buzzfeed.

    ReplyDelete
  40. We knew that!!!! Would've loved a diffrenet news cause I loved the show!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. That's an accurate concise summary of HOD. It's basically a throwback to those 1950s small town themed shows like Mayberry RFD.

    ReplyDelete
  42. My heart just skipped a beat. That is terrible! A show with so many potential!
I knew it wouldn't survive S01 as soon as the timeslot was announced but still I attach to easily. Especially to underdogs.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I barely paid any attention to the rating today, not that they matter much now.

    ReplyDelete
  44. You will be missed HoD. R.I.P in peace.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Someone on tvbtm also posted that Buzzfeeds Kate Auther says Messengers is cancelled too

    ReplyDelete
  46. Speaking of which, did you notice that TVBTN trashed the comment sections in the Renew/Cancel section? That kills the week long exchanges of comments about programs that many of us participated in for years. My reaction to that move in unprintable.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I read over at TV by the numbers that The Messengers was cancelled too.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Scrap my last comment about The Messengers-it has just been cancelled after 4 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yeah I did.At first I wasn't sure if it was my iPad having a problem.Im sure the comment section will be back shortly for the latest cancellation/renewal and pick up and schedule news

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'm really beginning to enjoy spending more time on STV though. There's a lot more going on here.

    ReplyDelete
  51. So sad, was kinda holding hope out there. :'(

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'm gonna miss Dixie

    ReplyDelete
  53. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I still had hope that they will change their mind :(

    ReplyDelete
  54. if one show was doing good on fridays was this one.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Hart of Dixie is that show that could be placed somewhere between Everwood and Gilmore Girls. Oh, how I miss them..

    ReplyDelete
  56. Well that's something we've known pretty much since the end of the S4 premiere...

    ReplyDelete
  57. It really tried to emulate the old WB feel, of the Everwood and Gilmore Girls era. It wasn't 100% successful in the endeavor, but the effort was genuine and it showed. And in the end it was more often than not very cute and endearing...

    ReplyDelete
  58. it still sucks, it would've been great to see Zoe and Wade as a married couple and parents, we still need their son's name
