Oh man. I'm torn between how much I don't want any of what I'm guessing is coming up to happen and how much I want to watch these last two episodes RIGHT NOW.
If that ISN'T Nick screaming for his mother, then I'm guessing the house shot is a misdirect and that's actually Sean finding Henrietta's body and realizing he's lost the best chance of a cure for what's happening to him. I can't distinguish whose scream that is well enough, and I wouldn't be remotely surprised by either. But, even if if isn't Nick, I don't feel at all hopeful for Kelly. Either she's going to die or they're going to have to kill Juliette- or both.
I really, Really hope your right and it's not Nick screaming because the first and foremost person who would cause that kind of anguish would be his mother gravely injured or dead. However, I'm doubtful that it could be anyone other than Nick.
i'm sorry ,but you better not get your hopes up since the synopsis of the final episode says " On the heels of a shocking discovery, Nick is hell bent on getting revenge and taking the fight to the royals with the help from Trubel". I am pretty sure that the death of her mother is a pretty big reason of getting revenge.
As long as Kelly doesn't die by Juliette's hand and Juliette at least tries to stop the Royals before everything goes to hell, then there's still a chance to redeem this character. It's bad enough Juliette sent the e-mail to Kelly, but it's a forgiveable act considering the Hexenbeist is overpowering her since she's been isolated from the gang. I'm surprised Nick didn't put the pieces together to realize Juliette was just at the house, using the computer since he saw the soot smudges on the mouse.
If Nick or anyone else blames Juliette for being the catalyst of the upcoming tragedy, they need to look in the mirror. What really set all of this in motion was the conspiracy to kidnap Diana and have Kelly take the baby out of town. By all means protect Diana from the Royals, but Adalind had a right to play a role in that plan considering it's her child.
I agree with you that they did something bad by taking Diana away from Adalind, but if they have told her about this she would refuse since she doesn't want to leave her baby and is more dangerous for Diana and Adalind to be together that separated. Also Juliette shouldn't even blame the gang for turning herself into a hexenbiest since being a wesen doesn't mean you are a monster, i mean look at Monroe and Rosalee they are good people even though they are wesen. If Juliette really wants to blame someone she should blame herself self since is not the appearance that turns someone into a monster but the action that the person does that turns them into a monster.
I Have very bad feeling it going to be hank. I don't know why, but I might be hank because I read that kelly join the fight against the bad guys. It nick scream andb it show the house.
I'm so lonely over here being the only one to defend Juliette. :)
Being a Wesen doesn't automatically make one a monster, but Hexenbeists are a Wesen all of their own. I haven't seen every single episode, but it's my understanding that Hexenbeists are among the most powerful and dangerous. When Juliette was taunting Nick behind bars, he screamed at her to stop it. Juliette's response was, "I can't.". That's where I think we are with this character. Juliette is descending further and further into darkness, but not just because she's being overcome by the Hexenbeist. It's also because she's overwhelmed with the hit after hit she's taken. Juliette sacrifices a "normal" life with Nick because he wanted to be a Grimm again ... partly to protect Monroe and Rosalie but mostly because he wanted his powers back. Juliette then deals with her terrifying transformation all by herself. When she finally does tell Nick, he is repulsed by her so much so that she leaves. Told that she will never be human again by Henrietta and isolated from Nick and the gang, Juliette loses all hope. Last but not least, any humanity she was barely holding onto is destroyed when Juliette finds out that the very woman who destroyed her life is pregnant with Nick's child. Not only that, but Nick is now protecting Adalind which is an act Juliette sees as Nick chosing Adalind over her. That act drives Juliette to vengeance in burning down the trailer and forming an uneasy alliance with the Royals.
Nick has handled this entire situation pretty much in the worst way possible. If the writers decide to sacrifice Juliette and make her a villian, it will make me hate Nick and not Juliette.
Is it wrong I want Juliette gone from the show and Adalind can possibly stay if they do interesting things with her character maybe give her some weird sort of redemption next season? At first I was pretty psyched about hexenbeast Juliette but she is to much now. I can't see her just bouncing back from the things she has done and will continue to do in the next episodes. I think she is to far gone. Plus Nick and Juliette have just lost any chemistry they had in their relationship at this point. I can't see it recovering from this. They have been through a lot but this is the killer of their relationship if you ask me. I'd rather she is either be killed off or they free her from being a hexenbeast and go on to a normal life away from Nick and the gang.
Adalind while annoying to me for a long time and still at certain points I can see at least having potential in story lines or being redeemed. Plus to be honest her and Nick have more chemistry then him and Juliette at this point. Not that I want them together because I don't but the actors seem to have at least more entertaining chemistry on screen.
To elle j: (Seriously only made an account to respond to you, haha, that's how strongly I feel about this.) THANK YOU. I thought I was the only Juliette fan left, tbh! Don't feel lonely; I agree with literary everything you've said about this entire situation. I seriously applaud you for speaking up, whenever I attempt to on the Grimm FB page, I get ripped to shreds by most fans. (I'm the sensitive type, so I've had to stop commenting alltogether, ugh. You are NOT alone. Juliette has always been hated by Nick fangirls and sadly the show is giving them crazy ammo at this point. I can't even imagine what's going through Juliette's head right now because thank you so much for pointing out Nick's handling this terribly! (Of course, he's got so many fangirls, he can do no wrong, apparently.)
If Juliette is sacrificed, I will also dislike Nick which is a damned shame. This is my favorite show, but now...it's gotten so messed up. Juliette the villian, Adalind the saint; fans suddenly shipping Adalind and Nick after EVERYTHING she's done!? This is insanity!
Sigh. I just wanted to say I completely agree and you are not alone; after everything Juliette's been through she has the right to be upset and Nick protecting Adalind was the icing on the cake. He's ruined Juliette. If any friends or family of Nick's dies, it's ultimately Adalind's fault. Taking her baby or no, she has been the problem behind everything. The fact that she's being protected makes me sick.
I truly couldn't be more upset with Nick atm if I tried; he and Adalind have utterly destroyed Juliette.
I feel if Juliette dies, she'll always be remembered as a villain and that is truly a shame given all the good she's done.
The other characters aren't spotless either, but according to 97% of the fanbase, everything is her fault and for that she deserves to die. Grimmsters used to be so kind amd now they just make me sick with their hatred.
Seriously, I couldn't agree more on everything you said if I tried. Thank you so much for defending Juliette; I seriously thought I was the only one who cared at this point. Yay, we're not alone! :)
If the Captain kills Wu I am going to flip. God, please don't kill Wu. Please don't hurt him too badly as in hospital badly. After everything else that's been so upsetting, I can't handle my favorite character dying. Please be okay, Wu. Please, please, please. :(
I've always loved the.Captain but if he kills innocent, silly little Wu...I don't think I'll be able to see him the same. Please come to your senses, Captain. Please don't kill Wu. Begging here, man.
Welcome the The Official Save Juliette Club ... membership two? Nick pulled a couple of stunts in this episode that were idiotic. First, he has the entire gang surround Juliette while telling her to take the potion. When Juliette said that she liked the way she was now, Nick responds "Well we don't." The smarter thing would've been for Nick to tell Juliette that everyone there cared about her and he still loved her. If that had happened, maybe Juliette wouldn't have lost it.
On top of that, Nick sees Adalind off to bed and tells her that no one is going to take away her baby. Are you kidding me?! After all the mayhem Adalind has caused, Nick doesn't have a problem with her raising his son. Nick can't bring himself to be near Juliette because she's a Hexenbeist, but he's A Okay co-parenting his son with Adalind. How could the writers not realize the insanity of these storylines?
elle j. & Jade, I want to thank the two of you as well. I've also pretty much just stopped commenting because of all the Juliette hate, I've spent weeks trying to defend Juliette and explain her actions, etc., only to have that hate turned on me. I was pretty much just done commenting, no one was listening, I was just done with it... so it was so great to stumble upon this page and find maybe the only other two people who feel the way I do. I'm not going to launch into any of my agreements, frankly I'm tried of repeating them, and you two seem to get it anyway.
But like you said, Jade, the vitriol towards her (no matter how her character changes it doesn't seem to matter, people still find something to hate) and the constant refrain of how 'the bitch needs to dies' LITERALLY makes me feel sick and makes me embarrassed that I'm associated with these kinds of people. I love Grimm; but for some people, no matter what's going on in the story, they're never satisfied and can always find something to bitch about. It makes me wonder why they keep watching the show to begin with. I have so much to say and so little time and energy to say it, so I'll just leave it at that. It made me so glad to see I wasn't the only one who had these feelings, held this opinion, and was sickened by the attitude at large among the "fans". I'm glad I'm not so alone anymore and neither are you, you can count me amongst yourselves!
Okay so I just thought of something: I think Grimm is throwing us off to believe that Sean could be the serial killer. Nothing in the past few episodes were he was not himself indicates of slicing and dicing random Wesens on the streets. Although that visit to Henrietta's house which led to her death may point to something, it could as well be a red herring.
This particular case could either be connected somehow to the show's serialized aspect or just a mere 2-parter like past "event" cases that Nick and Hank had tackled.
If it's the former and if we were to find out it is some demon spirit possessing someone, then my best guess would be Nick. I could be wrong but the timing of this storyline with the final 2 episodes of the season suggests otherwise.
Grimm looks really good the next two episodes. I believe that is Nick screaming. And unfortunately according to the many spoilers I have read someone dies. It indicates he is seeking revenge and I do believe that they are going to go after his mother. Since that is exactly what Kenneth the Royal had indicated to begin with. Juliet is too far gone. I've always really liked her character but she has gone to the point of no return. Even if they are able to suppress the Hexenbiest in her things will never be the same. She has Nick pointing a gun at one of his best friends at the end of you don't know jack. I don't think there is a comeback from that.I do not want to kill her character or anything like that because I feel she is vital to the show. So I do hope they can find a way for her. I think she is being used by the Royals. And there could be at some point where they will betray her. Anything is possible with her story line. Also the captain I don't think he is Jack the Ripper. Because only in this episode it shows that he is killing women. Why wouldn't they be showing that all along?where is the captains mother in all of this? Supposedly she was trying to track down Kelly? Wouldn't it be cool if she showed up to fight in the battle to?
I am still confused at Adalind's giving up being a Hexenbiest willingly in this last episode after having gone through that monstrous ritual to get her powers back before. Which indicates the writers may be flipping her character for next season. I must say in the scenes at the spice shop with the gang Claire Coffee showed a heretofore underutilized gift for comedy. It is bothering me that it looks like Kelly is going to die because that is tragic and Grimm has kept its charm partially based on the truly funny moments ( especially from Monroe,Wu,and Bud) mixed in with the horror and fantasy elements. Yes, there has been tragedy before ( Aunt May, uncountable innocent wesen victims, among them ) but nothing so close to the heart of the team as Kelly's death would be. Grimm is one of my favorite shows but the show runners have constantly irritated me with their storyline choices in their relentless pursuit of dang if I can figure it out self destruction. For me, the best part of Grimm has been the coming together and bonding of these different types of characters in a common purpose. ( Much like the original concept in Star Trek - now, everyone, do not go flipping out on me as I am not comparing Grimm to Star Trek - just in the sense of a team who had no business ever being friends winding up being loyal to each other). My favorite scene this season was that determined walk down the hall of the police station on the way to save Monroe. Currently it is all racking up to just be too sad for humor to have a place in their lives anytime soon. And for that, a pox on you Executive Producers of Grimm.
Technically, Adalind merely suppressed her powers, not ditching them completely. Kinda like how in Charmed when Grams had bound her grankids' powers so they won't use them as long as she's alive.
I remember her line about the potion toning down the powers but it still seemed odd to me that Adalind would give up( even if only temporarily) the bulk of her power at a time when she needs it most to protect herself and the baby - that was a pretty impressive release of Hexenbiesty energy we saw float out. I wonder what the series would have been like if they had switch - cast the actresses in the roles of Adalind and Juliette from the beginning.
I know you hate her but I still don't. I like evil Juliette. She might even be Grimm's best villain. My only problem right now is that the gang is still treating her as their friend whom they want to help and/or fix. It is they who are pissing me off. Hopefully the end of last night's episode will wake them up to realize she's no longer a friend. She's a serious threat. This is especially true for Nick. He has to stop acting like a concerned loved one and start acting like a g*ddamn Grimm.
It's hard. She's a good villain, and played well, but she's such a bitch. And her sole motivation is spite and used to be friends with people and now she's f*cking with them for misplaced bullshit. Well hopefully he will.
I was surprised too, but I think that after giving birth to Diana, her outlook changed a lot and different things became important for her. Her sole motivation this season has been to get her daughter back...and aside from staying alive, not much else seems to matter to her. I wonder how she'll react when she realizes that she gave up her Hexenbiest powers for nothing, It looks like the concoction they made for Juliette was destroyed. I guess you could call it karma....Because of Adalind, Juliette is now a Hexenbiest and now because of Juliette, Adalind's Hexenbiest powers are once again suppressed (possibly indefinitely).
I think that according to their theory, the Ripper takes over other people's bodies forcing them to commit these acts. Whatever Renard's mother did to cure him might have allowed the Ripper to possess him.
Think of it this way about her motivation while her hostility for nick is misplaced her hate for Adalind is not she hates her for all she has done to her and going by the flashback Juliette had in jail that's all she thinks about the coma, the love spell and what happened between Adalind and nick now for the right reasons nick is protecting Adalind and has a child with her and because she still has feelings for nick (but they're buried) now it fuels the fire. Juliette now only cares about killing Adalind she has no empathy for those standing in the way and nick and friends are in the way. Killing Adalind is her motivation. You should also consider this power she's obtained maybe to much for her and it's effecting he emotions and consonance and it feuds her hatred for Adalind
Personally I am really loving dark Juliette. She reminds me of Marvel's Jean Grey becoming possessed by the phoenix force and going darkside. Juliette is really the victim in all of this if you think about it. She has no chance at all in resisting the Hexenbeist within her and the circumstances have allowed the Hexenbeist total control over her. Did Nick really think that Juliette would drink the potion willingly? Their best chance was to blindside her and knock her out and inject the potion. At this point Juliette is just along for the ride and the Hexenbeist has total control of her body. Nick is not powerful enough to take her down by himself either, its going to take multiple Grimms. It's going to take Nick, Trubel and Kelly working together without mercy to take down Juliette.
I was thinking the same thing - that Adalind gave up, at least most of her powers, for naught as the rest of the potion was destroyed. Though there may be a cure we know nothing about yet - and it might be connected to the baby or Juliette may have an appointment to meet "the true death". Lots of open story threads going into this year's season finale. And I suspect many will be left dangling till next season as Claire Coffee has already said that the EP told her Adalind will not give birth till next season.
Not a fan of how the writers are writing Nick right now. He is acting pretty stupid. Does he not realize that Juliette is not in control. The Hexenbeist has total control right now. Also, this Hexenbeist was made not born, making it extremely powerful. Juliette is basically possessed by a very powerful entity and she has no training or ability to control it. The Hexenbeist is feeding off of her emotions and owns her. That potion was their last chance to save Juliette and they blew it. Now Nick has to be a Grimm and destroy the entity within her and that means having to kill her too.
Why would anyone hate Juliette? Have they been watching the same show? She is a total victim in all of this. Do they not know the lore of Wesen? Juliet is not really a true Wesen. The Hexenbeist within her was created not born within her. Hexenbeist are on a different level than most Wesen. They are extremely powerful paranormal entities that live within human bodies. A true Wesen is born joined with this entity. They learn how to coexist through the years and through training from other Wesen Hexenbeist. Juliette was a normal human adult that suddenly had a very powerful Hexenbeist entity taking up residence within her. She had no training, no knowledge that this would happen and no preparation. On top of that, her emotions were all over the place. The Hexenbeist had no problem dominating her and taking control. She is just along for the ride. Nick is totally responsible for what is happening to her and what has to happen to stop her. If there is any hate for a character, it should be directed at Nick, or more appropriately at the writers. :)
I think that it is Hank screaming not Nick. As for Jack I think that this is the Capt. When he was brought back to life that something dark came with him.
There's nothing in Juliette's anti-Adalind motivation that has her sleeping around and trolling people at bars for fun. Her transformation has darkened her and that's the gist of it. There's no way that if she were to actually succeed in killing Adalind that she'd be fine afterwards because her supposed motivation had went away, so tagging Adalind as the root cause doesn't fly. There will always be something else to use as an excuse for her behavior. I don't buy the "Hexenbiest being too much for Juliette" thing either because Grimm isn't subtle about such things. If they wanted to explain her behavior that way the show would have made it painfully clear.
Great comparison between Juliette and Jean Grey as The Phoenix. I think Bitsie is killing it as dark Juliette. Becoming a Hexenbeist is making this character very interesting in an unexpected way. I agree that Juliette is a victim of tragic circumstances and she has no ability to control her Wesen powers. I really hope Juliette doesn't do something that may make her irredeemable in the viewers' eyes. After all, Renard was redeemed. Monroe himself had to work for redemption for the his past dark actions. I think some may forget that point because we didn't see Monroe during that time in his life. I want to see Juliette cured and reunited with Nick so they can raise their son together. I still think the baby Adalind is carrying is biologically Nick and Juliette's. The baby may even be the cure for Juliette since he carries the blood of a Grimm. What I don't want to see is the writers' sudden skewed view that Adalind is all the sudden one of the good guys. I won't watch Nick and Adalind raising this baby together.
Your hate is misdirected. What you really hate is the Hexenbeist within Juliette that is pulling the strings, not Juliette the human host. You do realize that she is not in control correct? He has an extremely powerful supernatural entity within her that she never learned to coexist with. All Wesen Hexenbeist and Zauberbiest are born joined to the entities within them and receive training on how to coexist and that helps keep it in check.
Because Nick is totally responsible for what is happening to Juliette. Your hate is appropriately placed. Juliette is a victim of the conflict of Wesen and Grimm. She only wanted to help Nick get his powers back, which he lost because he took a baby away from it's mother. Juliette did not want to become possessed by an entity she had no training or preparation for. I am amazed at all the Juliette hate I see on the boards. Are these people watching the same show as me?
Adalind was able to make the decision to suppress the power of her Hexenbiest because she is a true Wesen that was born joined to the entity and has learned to coexist and that gives her control. Juliette had a Hexenbeist entity dumped into her as an adult, she has no control, which is why the Hexenbeist would not allow her to suppress it.
It's either going to be Hank or Kelly that dies. Juliette has not gone to far, because Juliette is not in control, the Hexenbiest is. Why can't people understand this?
You misunderstand I'm not defending the woman that's just my look on her motives not her behavior I also like her as a villian and her scenes have been pretty good ever since she became a hexenbeast
Viewers need to remember that the human host doesn't have the powers, it's the entities within them that have the power and the human learns to tap into that power and express it, which is called Woge. Humans that are born joined to different entities are called Wesen. Most are animalistic but one is pure supernatural and that is the Hexenbiest and Zauberbiest, the most powerful of Wesen. It would be more accurate to say that Juliette has no ability to control the Hexenbeist within her.
I get you. I didn't think you were defending her. I just believe that Adalind, Nick, and everything else going on with Juliette aren't so much motivation for her behavior as they are convenient excuses because I think she wants to do all these bad things.
1. I just watched Julliette throw Rosalee and Monroe (Nick's Best Friends) around using her Hexenbiest powers.
2. She made Nick turn his gun on Hank (Nick's Partner) and if he ends up shooting him move this up to number one.
3. She attacked innocent people using her powers.
4. She burned up most of Nick's Grimm hunter shack full of priceless family heirlooms.
5. Slept with Nick's boss.
6. Gave the bad guys information and is cozying up to the one guy.
7. Made a scene at a Police station in front of other officers.
8. Julliette almost had Nick convinced not to be a Grimm while Nick had lost his powers.
9. Turned down Nick's marriage proposal and was pretty lame during the whole amnesia sequence.
10. I didn't know why at first but I didn't like the show that much. I know why now. It's Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch). In fact she doesn't even play a villain very well. I don't even like watching her. She is a really bad actress. She brings the whole show down and is holding it back.
Nick is a couple points up on the looks scale and has become a pretty likable character. Adalind (Claire Coffee) now a suppressed hexenbiest or Trubel (Theresa Rubel) would be MUCH hotter woman for Nick. Although Trubel does give off a more of a friend vibe in the story line so far.
SO, Juliette must die...
Start preparing her severance package. I don't know how much longer I can continue watching episodes with her in it.
I am not sure the best way to kill her off. But I'm sure the writers can think of some creative ways.
If the baby's blood could cure Juliette, then by that logic, they could just as easily cure her with Trubel or Kelly's blood, which FTR, I'm kind of baffled that none of the characters have thought to try yet.
Nick did have reasons for taking the baby from Adalind, you know. Could he have done things differently? Sure. Everyone could have. But to say Nick is totally responsible for this isn't really being fair. Juliette is a victim of circumstance.
I've read that two characters die. Yes it could be Wu and Nick's mom but those two are just too obvious! I think the promo is misleading. They show Renard attacking Wu because want you to think Renard is the ripper.
At this point, I think it's safe to say that Nick was probably just acting out of shock due to the insanity of the entire situation. I doubt Nick is okay with the idea of her raising his son, I think he just wants to keep her & the baby safe until things die down and he can figure out how to handle the whole hot mess.
It could very well be Hank's scream, come to think of it that scream did sound more like Hank than Nick. But that could all very well be wishful thinking at this point, considering all the previous spoilers.
I like Juliette a lot, actually. But if you rewatch the Diana episodes, she was on board with taking the baby. She was the one who assisted in finding the truck that Kelly used to drive Diana out of the area. (Honestly, I always thought they made the right call, but YMMV).
It seems bizarre to blame Nick OR Juliette for this situation to me. Nick never consented to sleeping with Adalind. He was for all intents and purposes a victim of rape. Juliette chose to help him regain his powers. Neither of them had any way or reason to know that the hexenbiest situation is happening. And neither of them are handling the situation at all well, which is completely understandable.
Juliette's hurting people, but it's a clear personality shift. Nick is showing blatant trauma reactions left and right (see: visibly shaking when Juliette transforms, flinching from both Juliette and Adalind in various episodes). It's awful for both characters, and both characters are victims.
It occurs to me: do we know for sure that Adalind actually did suppress her powers? Something happened, certainly. She appeared to try to do something, and appeared to fail. But how would any non-hexenbiest know that she isn't faking it?
That's the thing. How is it in her best interest to be depowered before anyone had a chance to make sure Juliette took the potion too? Now, it seems, she's even more vulnerable while Juliette is as strong as ever.
Of course, it could be that she has another reason to want her powers bound (maybe because of the pregnancy). Or it's a trick. There are many interesting possibilities.
I agree that she is a lot better as a villian. She was just really annoying before she became a hexenbiest.
But, honestly, I think Nick and Adalind are a way cuter together =^ω^= than him and Juliette. I really ship JulietteXPrince Kenneth though! Especially after their kiss scene in 4x21
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
The end of the season is looking crazy
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing they're going to murder Kelly. Also, I would find it particularly hilarious if rapidly-aged Diana kicks Juliette's ass in retaliation.
ReplyDeleteI can definitely see Diana doing that. They're both special, powerful Hexenbiests
ReplyDeleteOh man. I'm torn between how much I don't want any of what I'm guessing is coming up to happen and how much I want to watch these last two episodes RIGHT NOW.
ReplyDeleteIf that ISN'T Nick screaming for his mother, then I'm guessing the house shot is a misdirect and that's actually Sean finding Henrietta's body and realizing he's lost the best chance of a cure for what's happening to him. I can't distinguish whose scream that is well enough, and I wouldn't be remotely surprised by either. But, even if if isn't Nick, I don't feel at all hopeful for Kelly. Either she's going to die or they're going to have to kill Juliette- or both.
Looks like the season is finishing strong.
ReplyDeleteI really, Really hope your right and it's not Nick screaming because the first and foremost person who would cause that kind of anguish would be his mother gravely injured or dead. However, I'm doubtful that it could be anyone other than Nick.
ReplyDeletei'm sorry ,but you better not get your hopes up since the synopsis of the final episode says " On the heels of a shocking discovery, Nick is hell bent on getting revenge and taking the fight to the royals with the help from Trubel". I am pretty sure that the death of her mother is a pretty big reason of getting revenge.
ReplyDeleteWell she's not as old I thought she would be she's still pretty much a todler
ReplyDeleteAs long as Kelly doesn't die by Juliette's hand and Juliette at least tries to stop the Royals before everything goes to hell, then there's still a chance to redeem this character.

ReplyDeleteI'm so lonely over here being the only one to defend Juliette. :)
ReplyDeleteBeing a Wesen doesn't automatically make one a monster, but Hexenbeists are a Wesen all of their own.
ReplyDeleteAdalind while annoying to me for a long time and still at certain points I can see at least having potential in story lines or being redeemed.
ReplyDeleteIf Juliette is sacrificed, I will also dislike Nick which is a damned shame.
Yay Trubel's back!
ReplyDeleteI really hope someone kills her and brutally. F*ck that bitch. And I rarely hate characters this much.
ReplyDeleteIf the Captain kills Wu I am going to flip. God, please don't kill Wu. Please don't hurt him too badly as in hospital badly. After everything else that's been so upsetting, I can't handle my favorite character dying. Please be okay, Wu. Please, please, please. :(
ReplyDeleteI've always loved the.Captain but if he kills innocent, silly little Wu...I don't think I'll be able to see him the same.
ReplyDeleteOn top of that, Nick sees Adalind off to bed and tells her that no one is going to take away her baby.
ReplyDeleteBut like you said, Jade, the vitriol towards her (no matter how her character changes it doesn't seem to matter, people still find something to hate) and the constant refrain of how 'the bitch needs to dies' LITERALLY makes me feel sick and makes me embarrassed that I'm associated with these kinds of people.
ReplyDeleteThis particular case could either be connected somehow to the show's serialized aspect or just a mere 2-parter like past "event" cases that Nick and Hank had tackled.
If it's the former and if we were to find out it is some demon spirit possessing someone, then my best guess would be Nick. I could be wrong but the timing of this storyline with the final 2 episodes of the season suggests otherwise.
How am i hating Nick more than Juliette at this point? How?!?
ReplyDeleteCount me in too.
ReplyDeleteGrimm looks really good the next two episodes.
ReplyDeleteWell..no choice now. Nick's got to cut Juliette's head off.
ReplyDeleteI am still confused at Adalind's giving up being a Hexenbiest willingly in this last episode after having gone through that monstrous ritual to get her powers back before.
ReplyDeleteTechnically, Adalind merely suppressed her powers, not ditching them completely. Kinda like how in Charmed when Grams had bound her grankids' powers so they won't use them as long as she's alive.
ReplyDeleteI remember her line about the potion toning down the powers but it still seemed odd to me that Adalind would give up( even if only temporarily) the bulk of her power at a time when she needs it most to protect herself and the baby - that was a pretty impressive release of Hexenbiesty energy we saw float out. I wonder what the series would have been like if they had switch - cast the actresses in the roles of Adalind and Juliette from the beginning.
ReplyDeleteI imagine it will be similar to Claire's role before in Franklin and Bash.
ReplyDeleteHer? Who?
ReplyDeleteJuliette.
ReplyDeleteI know you hate her but I still don't.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard. She's a good villain, and played well, but she's such a bitch. And her sole motivation is spite and used to be friends with people and now she's f*cking with them for misplaced bullshit. Well hopefully he will.
ReplyDeleteHa! I won't disagree with you about Juliette's motivations. They're definitely complete and utter bullsh*t.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised too, but I think that after giving birth to Diana, her outlook changed a lot and different things became important for her.
ReplyDeleteI think that according to their theory, the Ripper takes over other people's bodies forcing them to commit these acts. Whatever Renard's mother did to cure him might have allowed the Ripper to possess him.
ReplyDeleteThink of it this way about her motivation while her hostility for nick is misplaced her hate for Adalind is not she hates her for all she has done to her and going by the flashback Juliette had in jail that's all she thinks about the coma, the love spell and what happened between Adalind and nick now for the right reasons nick is protecting Adalind and has a child with her and because she still has feelings for nick (but they're buried) now it fuels the fire. Juliette now only cares about killing Adalind she has no empathy for those standing in the way and nick and friends are in the way. Killing Adalind is her motivation.
ReplyDeleteYou should also consider this power she's obtained maybe to much for her and it's effecting he emotions and consonance and it feuds her hatred for Adalind
And that's how I see it
Personally I am really loving dark Juliette.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing - that Adalind gave up, at least most of her powers, for naught as the rest of the potion was destroyed.
ReplyDeletei am sure that this is Hanks scream
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of how the writers are writing Nick right now.
ReplyDeletedont forget that he was dead, this would allow something to enter his body, it could be how Jack is able to move from host to host
ReplyDeleteWhy would anyone hate Juliette? :)
ReplyDeleteI think that it is Hank screaming not Nick. As for Jack I think that this is the Capt. When he was brought back to life that something dark came with him.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing in Juliette's anti-Adalind motivation that has her sleeping around and trolling people at bars for fun.
ReplyDeleteGreat comparison between Juliette and Jean Grey as The Phoenix.
ReplyDeleteYour hate is misdirected.
ReplyDeleteThis is gonna be freaking awesome *-*
ReplyDeleteBecause Nick is totally responsible for what is happening to Juliette.
ReplyDeleteThank you.I thought i was watching some other show coz i can't see how everyone else is playing the victim except Juliette!
ReplyDeleteAdalind was able to make the decision to suppress the power of her Hexenbiest because she is a true Wesen that was born joined to the entity and has learned to coexist and that gives her control. Juliette had a Hexenbeist entity dumped into her as an adult, she has no control, which is why the Hexenbeist would not allow her to suppress it.
ReplyDeleteIt's either going to be Hank or Kelly that dies. Juliette has not gone to far, because Juliette is not in control, the Hexenbiest is. Why can't people understand this?
ReplyDeleteYou misunderstand I'm not defending the woman that's just my look on her motives not her behavior I also like her as a villian and her scenes have been pretty good ever since she became a hexenbeast
ReplyDeleteViewers need to remember that the human host doesn't have the powers, it's the entities within them that have the power and the human learns to tap into that power and express it, which is called Woge. Humans that are born joined to different entities are called Wesen. Most are animalistic but one is pure supernatural and that is the Hexenbiest and Zauberbiest, the most powerful of Wesen. It would be more accurate to say that Juliette has no ability to control the Hexenbeist within her.
ReplyDeleteI get you. I didn't think you were defending her. I just believe that Adalind, Nick, and everything else going on with Juliette aren't so much motivation for her behavior as they are convenient excuses because I think she wants to do all these bad things.
ReplyDeleteWhy Juliette must die:
ReplyDelete1.
Well, whether Nick likes it or not, Adalind IS the baby's mother.
ReplyDeleteIf the baby's blood could cure Juliette, then by that logic, they could just as easily cure her with Trubel or Kelly's blood, which FTR, I'm kind of baffled that none of the characters have thought to try yet.
ReplyDeleteNick did have reasons for taking the baby from Adalind, you know. Could he have done things differently? Sure. Everyone could have. But to say Nick is totally responsible for this isn't really being fair. Juliette is a victim of circumstance.
ReplyDeleteI 2nd this!
ReplyDeleteI've read that two characters die. Yes it could be Wu and Nick's mom but those two are just too obvious! I think the promo is misleading. They show Renard attacking Wu because want you to think Renard is the ripper.
ReplyDeleteAt this point, I think it's safe to say that Nick was probably just acting out of shock due to the insanity of the entire situation. I doubt Nick is okay with the idea of her raising his son, I think he just wants to keep her & the baby safe until things die down and he can figure out how to handle the whole hot mess.
ReplyDeleteIt could very well be Hank's scream, come to think of it that scream did sound more like Hank than Nick. But that could all very well be wishful thinking at this point, considering all the previous spoilers.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they'll end up killing of Kenneth, since his character has so much potential as villain than any of the other royals.
ReplyDeleteKelly will surely die next episode due to Kenneth-Directly/indirectly.Nick will kill him as a revenge,i really see no other way TBH!
ReplyDeleteExactly how sure are you that juliette makes it in the finale? lol
ReplyDeleteMoney's on Juliette lol.
ReplyDelete0%.LOL!
ReplyDeleteI like Juliette a lot, actually. But if you rewatch the Diana episodes, she was on board with taking the baby. She was the one who assisted in finding the truck that Kelly used to drive Diana out of the area. (Honestly, I always thought they made the right call, but YMMV).
ReplyDeleteIt seems bizarre to blame Nick OR Juliette for this situation to me.
ReplyDeleteExcept that it is in her best interest that it does work as she is trying to prevent Juliette from killing her.
ReplyDeleteThat's the thing. How is it in her best interest to be depowered before anyone had a chance to make sure Juliette took the potion too? Now, it seems, she's even more vulnerable while Juliette is as strong as ever.
ReplyDeleteOf course, it could be that she has another reason to want her powers bound (maybe because of the pregnancy). Or it's a trick. There are many interesting possibilities.
I agree that she is a lot better as a villian. She was just really annoying before she became a hexenbiest.
ReplyDeleteBut, honestly, I think Nick and Adalind are a way cuter together =^ω^= than him and Juliette. I really ship JulietteXPrince Kenneth though! Especially after their kiss scene in 4x21
