Thanks to Richard for the heads up.
Thank you to all of you @Gotham and #HarveyDent fans for your enthusiasm. I can't wait to join more of the fun as a regular in Season 2!

Yah one of the problems i had with the character was that he seemed to crazy from the start and really bad at his job. Hopefully they improve the Dent next season
ReplyDeleteThat too, but I was referring more to the fanfare the show made about the casting only for him to disappear during the second half of the season.
ReplyDeleteRelatedly, I have to assume the show will be cutting loose Victoria Cartagena
(Renee Montoya) and Andrew Stewart-Jones (poor Crispus Allen) any day now.
I am happy with this as I like the actor and the character but I wish he would return to Masters of Sex instead. I really enjoyed his character in Season 1, it was a nice contrast to Bill and it sucked that they let him go in Season 2.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know they were still regulars in the second half
ReplyDeleteOkay I get what you are saying my bad.
ReplyDeleteAlso I feel like we were lead to believe that Montoya and Crispus Allen were going to be major player on the show and I thought that they were going to help out towards the end of the season, especially with the whole mob war raging on in Gotham. But they just up and vanished
Yup. Crispus was last seen in episode 9, Renee in episode 11, but the actors were credited as series regulars all season long.
ReplyDeleteMy guess Allen and Montoya will return in season 2. I think producer/writer couldn't fit them in....too many character not enough time. They still important to batman and Gordon in particular.
ReplyDeleteBut the show's added two more regulars - Leslie Thompkins and now Harvey Dent - and the focus continues to be on the villains. I can't see why they'd keep them.
ReplyDeletethey probably be demoted to recuriting character when Jim needs them
ReplyDeleteI agree, at the very least, they'll be demoted to recurring. But I still think the show just lost all interest in them. As it is, Bullock and Essen need more screen time.
ReplyDeleteI liked the actor in MoS,i hope he gets some material to work with. He's a decent actor IMO.
ReplyDeleteHe's a great and quite interesting character, if they portray him right
ReplyDeleteHe was great in MoS, in Gotham quite the disappointment. I personally felt him ti mild. Really didn't make a lasting impression.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting a little busy with the cast
ReplyDeleteNice! I hope they utilize him properly though...
