We have a dedicated page set up on the site which is the only place you may freely discuss the episodes if you have watched them before they air, it can be found here.

As the title suggests, we start and end the episode with Meereen and Daenerys firmly in mind, although not everyone wants what is best for the young Queen. We pick up the story more or less where the previous instalment left off, with Jorah working out the logistics of transporting the kidnapped Tyrion all the way back to Slaver’s Bay. Luckily enough, that’s the way he was heading before he insisted on escaping Varys’ carriage for an hour or two to stretch his legs last week. But if he found himself bored and confined during the journey before, I can’t see him enjoying this last leg of the trip at all.

Back in King’s Landing Cersei continues to be on the offensive after last week’s battle of wills with her daughter-in-law seems to confirm that she is the one Maggy the Frog alluded to all those years ago. As we saw in the promo, one of her next moves is to deepen her association with the High Sparrow, relying on her Machiavellian skills and charm offensive to win over his support. With her blessing the Faith Militant become a sanctioned organisation that immediately tackle the task of cleansing the city of the corrupt and debauched.

Over in Dorne Jamie and Bronn attempt to sneak over the border undetected, still wary that anything too obvious or aggressive may only anger the Martell’s and start a war. Unfortunately for them they do run into trouble early on, which at least gives Jamie a chance to see if all that left-handed sword training has paid off. He’s going to need some on the job practice in order to improve before their mission can succeed I feel, there’s a certain amount of luck which gets him through this first encounter. With Oberyn’s daughters gathering to seek revenge, he’s going to have to be fast learner too!

Elsewhere in the episode Shireen (Kerry Ingram) once again nabs one of the most memorable and charming scenes of the week as more hints about Greyscale are revealed. While Sansa and Littlefinger visit the vaults under Winterfell before he makes his way back to Kings Landing. I’m looking forward to seeing how she copes on her own; it’s one of the changes from the books that I think works well. I don’t think that Baelish has factored in the White Walkers being anything but a myth in his plans though, which could be a massive mistake. As could the marriage to Ramsay, I do hope Reek will keep an eye on her.

The Sons of the Harpy airs on Sunday May 3rd from HBO, below are a few dialogue teasers to see you through until then.
