What the heck is going on in these upfront releases? CW gets a comedy Showtime passed on. Galavant is renewed? Woo hoo on Galavant by the way. It would have been one of my most missed shows if it had been rightly cancelled.
Me too. It's like all my predictions are coming wrong and I don't care. My favorite shows are being renewed. At this point I might allow myself 0.00001% hope for Forever which should reasonably have no hope either.
The objective part of me hates when I get predictions wrong but I do not care when they happen on the positive side for shows that I like, as is the case here.
This has to be a joke. Going by these standard, Cristela deserves to be renewed, too. Safe to say, most shocking renewal of this year award goes to Galavant!
Didn't watch but only heard good things, so I'm really happy for the fans! I'm thinking I might even give it a sampling this summer to see what the fuss is about :)
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! to whomever made the human sacrifices necessary to make this happen, I have some requests lol also, I can't believe tvwise was right about it. I thought that site was a joke.
That is weird, because they had a hard time releasing the musical numbers. They only produced one soundtrack (that missed a lot of songs throughout the season) and didn't produce any singles. Do you know if they will go back and add more songs to purchase?
COMPLETELY ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but actually surprised
Looks like all the singing, and the shitty ratings, Couldn't kill this show after all. So campy and so fun, it makes me wanna sing What else is there to say but GAAAAAAAAALAAAAAAAAVAAAANT!
I honestly would have put money on this getting cancelled. Very happy it's back though! Here's hoping they keep it just like it was - two episodes a week was great!
Lots of rightly cancelled shows getting renewed tonight. It's a happy night for fans although we might be in scary ratings territory foe more than just the CW next season. Every network might go fractional.
Yea, I have a feeling we're going to start hearing about what else makes these shows successful behind the scenes. Maybe they'll start reporting on international sales or something.
nice, both OUAT & AOS stand in got renewed. hope they give it better schedules though, going against Golden Globe again is not fun,i remember it destroy Galavant streak
I mean the showrunners always seemed confident of another season but I figured it was just them giving the fans hope. This is so great, especially after years of ABC killing my favourite comedies, they actually did good for once.
Surprise renewal of the year, along with American Crime and Agent Carter. Now I definitely see Galavant and Muppets together at 8 and 8:30 on Sunday's during OUAT's hiatus.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
YES! YES! OH GOD YES!!!!
ReplyDeleteI honestly can't make sense of this, but who cares?!
ReplyDeleteMore Galavant :D
I'm just so happy. My heart is bursting full of rainbows. That cliffhanger will not torment me with what ifs forever.

ReplyDeleteMaybe this isn't the worst thing ever.
ReplyDeleteAlright, who sacrificed the goat that got this renewed so I can send my thanks?
ReplyDeleteIt was Mac, Koky or Graydon wasn't it?
Shock renewal of the season?
ReplyDeleteFun little show, only watched it cos nothing else was on though.
ReplyDeleteMe too. It's like all my predictions are coming wrong and I don't care. My favorite shows are being renewed. At this point I might allow myself 0.00001% hope for Forever which should reasonably have no hope either.
ReplyDeleteSomeones been sacrificing goats and altered the status quo.
ReplyDeleteWhat next? Is FOX going to shock renew Backstrom?
Never would have seen this coming but I'm pretty happy

ReplyDeleteS1 will not be the last
We will see more of a knight who's valiant
He whose name is GALAVAAAANT!!!!

I guess ABC has lesser standards for January shows.
ReplyDeleteI'll send some livestock too if they were this successful.
ReplyDeleteSomething just earned my biggest surprise renewal award.
ReplyDeleteShocked but omg congrats galavant fans
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful surprise.
ReplyDeleteThe objective part of me hates when I get predictions wrong but I do not care when they happen on the positive side for shows that I like, as is the case here.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, YES!!!! I never thought we'd get a second season! I'm so freaking happy right now. YAY!!!
ReplyDeleteShocked.Guess Variety or tvwise that said it would be renewed due to music sales was right
ReplyDeleteI want more fun surprises!
ReplyDeleteStalker over Cyber, maybe.
Very happy about this :)
ReplyDeletegood surprise
ReplyDeleteVery good news! Our whole family tuned into this every Sunday.
ReplyDeleteYou've got to be kidding... Wow
ReplyDeleteAh, that makes more sense. I mean, I'm happy, but I was confused and surprised, too. Now I get it.
ReplyDeleteGive me over 9,000 episodes in Season 2
ReplyDeleteThis has to be a joke. Going by these standard, Cristela deserves to be renewed, too.
ReplyDeleteSafe to say, most shocking renewal of this year award goes to Galavant!
Omg yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVariety also says that Battle Creek is going to be renewed, so excuse us if we don't believe that site.
ReplyDeleteObviously you do not read TVWise, they predicted Galavant's renewal. So it can't be that shocking.
ReplyDeleteAs I wrote below, I'm not that shocked because TVWise predicted its renewal. Actually, they've been right on most everything, if not all, so far.
ReplyDeleteHaha they were right again
ReplyDeleteDidn't watch but only heard good things, so I'm really happy for the fans!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking I might even give it a sampling this summer to see what the fuss is about :)
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!
ReplyDeleteto whomever made the human sacrifices necessary to make this happen, I have some requests lol
also, I can't believe tvwise was right about it. I thought that site was a joke.
It's pure, silly fun.
ReplyDeleteYahoo! This takes a little bit of the sting out of Forever's cancellation.
ReplyDeleteNow I just need Agent Carter news!
Yes!!!
ReplyDeleteWe need to make a hashtag out of that: #StalkverOverCyber :))
ReplyDeleteLet the LSS begin!
ReplyDeleteReally surprised at this, but if it means getting more of Timothy Oliphant, I'll happily take the renewal.
ReplyDeleteThat is weird, because they had a hard time releasing the musical numbers. They only produced one soundtrack (that missed a lot of songs throughout the season) and didn't produce any singles. Do you know if they will go back and add more songs to purchase?
ReplyDeleteYour wish has been granted. :)
ReplyDeleteNo I don't know,sorry.wish I could help.
ReplyDeleteI KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT (No, I don't want a cookie), I said it wasn't going to be canceled.
ReplyDeleteSososososoososososo happpppppy!!! I was sure it would get canceled!
ReplyDeleteCOMPLETELY ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but actually surprised

ReplyDeleteCouldn't kill this show after all.
So campy and so fun, it makes me wanna sing
What else is there to say but GAAAAAAAAALAAAAAAAAVAAAANT!
I'm still bummed they relase all the songs. Some of my favorites are missing on the album.
ReplyDeleteHow 'bout that. I really didn't think they'd go for it. But, works for me!

ReplyDeleteLOL at rightly cancelled. Totally agree, this was a long shot renewal!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD. WTF. I thought this was dead the moment they aired double episodes in January. I AM SO SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS.
ReplyDeleteLots of rightly cancelled shows getting renewed tonight. It's a happy night for fans although we might be in scary ratings territory foe more than just the CW next season. Every network might go fractional.
ReplyDeleteOh man! You missed a lot of fun times over the past few hours.
ReplyDeleteYea, I have a feeling we're going to start hearing about what else makes these shows successful behind the scenes. Maybe they'll start reporting on international sales or something.
ReplyDeleteColor me shocked.
ReplyDeleteI can see!!! I am still shocked about Galavant but in a good way.
ReplyDeletenice, both OUAT & AOS stand in got renewed.
ReplyDeletehope they give it better schedules though, going against Golden Globe again is not fun,i remember it destroy Galavant streak
I am still shocked about Galavant but in a good way.
ReplyDeleteSame feelings here. I guess this renewal took everyone by surprise.
I mean the showrunners always seemed confident of another season but I figured it was just them giving the fans hope. This is so great, especially after years of ABC killing my favourite comedies, they actually did good for once.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! All I need is a guest cameo from Cookie and Lucious Lyons on the next group number and life is good.
ReplyDeleteYES YES YES YES YES YES !!!!!
ReplyDeleteready to cry of happiness!
ReplyDeletemore king richard!!!
Hpjiekkzrnogz,l,flz, lzznfnmzlgmmmmmmmmmmmm !!!!!! I never write in capital letters but I'll do an exception : OH YEAH !!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe they have realised there is no point cancelling things if there is nothing better to put in its place.
ReplyDeleteWhy America Should Really Fear http://www.media-bd.tk/2015/05/why-america-should-really-fear-russias.html

ReplyDeleteSurprise renewal of the year, along with American Crime and Agent Carter. Now I definitely see Galavant and Muppets together at 8 and 8:30 on Sunday's during OUAT's hiatus.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? This is the most unfunny comedy I've seen.
ReplyDeleteI know, right? Hopefully, they will fix this by squeaking in a few season 1 songs on a season 2 CD.
ReplyDelete
