  1. I am so excited for Scream Queens. Some people are going to hate it but I think it sounds so cool and fun! I hope FOX doesn't screw this up!

    ReplyDelete
  2. so basically is heavily relying on FX as a draw?

    ReplyDelete
  3. I agree. They confirmed one of the leads will be the killer. It will be fun to guess

My first bet is girl from Nine Lives of Chloe King lol

    ReplyDelete
  4. it's really somethign new and unique BUT this can go so wrong.

Plus...Emma Roberts is in this, her performance in Scream 4 was painfull (she was good on AHS:Freak Show tho)

    ReplyDelete
  5. I need to see to guess ahah, i don't even know who the characters are right now!

But I agree, it will be so fun to speculate all season long! Can't wait ;)

    ReplyDelete
  6. I've only watched her on AHS and I think she did good, especially in Freak Show.

I agree it can go horrible, but Murphy, for all the bad thing he has done, has done these hard concept, different shows quite well, at least in the first seasons, so I am optimistic about this.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I fell in love with her in Scream 4, I thought she was fantastic in it.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Empire...#1 series with woman but not women.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Must be one important woman to be announced like that ;)

    ReplyDelete
  10. Lol @ Joe's comment about Limitless

    ReplyDelete
  11. With a cast like that I don't see how they could tbh.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Glee.... can't help but blame him for this show

    ReplyDelete
  13. Have U watched Ahs Coven? Murphy is all mighty, he can do everything.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Lol that was one boring ride, I think the comedy aspect could save it if the storytelling starts to fail.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ha!! So a lot of focus on FX shows - Fargo, Louie, The Americans etc. Even Fox knows where the good shows are at.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Joe has been great today, I am loving his sarcasm and he was full on attacking Bob earlier, it was awesome lol!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I was never a regular watcher of Glee so I can't comment from experience but I believe the general consensus is that the first two seasons were great and that it fell apart afterwards, no? Hence me saying that at least for the fist year we should be ok

    ReplyDelete
  18. Glee started out as an anoyance for me and ended as one :p

    ReplyDelete
  19. I more interested in CBS, ABC, and The CW upfronts more

    ReplyDelete
  20. To me Glee fell apart after the first mid-season hiatus! XD
    Downhill from there....

    ReplyDelete
  21. isn't that kinda sad though?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Me Too. When she goes Ape $H!T on herself trying to stage her attack was great!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well, Scream Queens only has half season, so yay, we are in luck ! Lol

    ReplyDelete
  24. And I thought it was even better! Although that kind of acting wouldn't work in a more serious movie but for Scream it works imo.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The good thing with SQ is that they'll killa girl pro week so he can't miss to much of character development, cause they are dead imo.
I mean Coven had some brilliant moments but storytellingwise was all over the place. Murphy really needs to focus on the core story.
But I'm worries for him. He is doing 3 shows now, again, don't know how well he handle it. All 3 have great potential to shine and flop.

    ReplyDelete
  26. She had a few wobbly moments, but nowhere near the hilariousness of Rebecca Gayheart at the end of "Urban Legend".
The scene though of Jill throwing herself around the room so she can fake being the new Sidney gave me chills.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Jim Halterman ‏@JimHalterman 2m2 minutes ago
Andy says the new season of @BONESonFOX will focus on...the tibia!!! Yay!!!! #FoxUpfronts

    ReplyDelete
  28. that was exactly my problem. Scream was always a parody of the genre, sure. But the actors always played it straight up serious. No overacting, no hamming sh*t up the way she did.

Neither Timothy Olyphant nor Skeet Ulrich hammed their performance up the way she did. Her performance almost was self aware, wich it shouldn't have been

    ReplyDelete
  29. Andy Samberg, out of context: "If Matthew Fox were here right now, I'd totally give up the butt." #FOXupfront

Just LOL! I find Andy Samberg hilarious lol.

    ReplyDelete
  30. The upfront haven't finished yet. We should get some soon-ish.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Lol, we're talking about an actress that did From Dusk Till Dawn 3 here, you can't expect too much from Gayheart.

Roberts however did have the classic nepotism advantage (she does have some acting chops though, I'll give her that but she's really not leading material)

    ReplyDelete
  32. When will WE get promos and trailers?

    ReplyDelete
  33. I looked at the Lucifer peek and thought they stole Christopher from The Imitation Game at first! XD

    ReplyDelete
  34. Dana thought The Grinder was one of the funniest scripts she read? Wow. She should never pick comedy scripts.

As for the rest, all I got was FOX screaming WE Got Empire! The rest of it was pointless and they seemed to have realized that their slate just isn't good. At all.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Christopher DeBonoMay 11, 2015 at 10:10 PM

    Probably after the presentation finishes.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Still hoping for FOX to get some balls and use some of their FX pilots for themselves

    ReplyDelete
  37. Fox is the least intersting network for me as I watch zero of their shows and this likely remains that way (except maybe summer series Wayward Pines). The only slightly intersting new show is Scream Queens, but I hate horror. So if it's too gore I will never watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I always thought David Arquette's performance was weird, in every movie I couldn't tell if he was really like that or he was doing it on purpose for some reason. He was just really odd to me.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Christopher DeBonoMay 11, 2015 at 10:11 PM

    Pretty much this ^

It's FOX screaming "We got Empire!" and "Look at FX!"

    ReplyDelete
  40. I cannot imagine a broadcast show being too gore.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yeah. It could give those shows more coverage. But then again, FX shows tend to be niche shows.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Depends: have you seen Scary Movie before Scream or later on?

Especially after Scream 2 his performance had to be odd, Dewey was handicapped after 2 (plus his entire character is about being the incompetent cop)

    ReplyDelete
  43. But they usually get critical acclaim and cable type shows with critical acclaim get renewed regardless of ratings on broadcast it seems!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Sons of Anarchy could've done well on FOX

    ReplyDelete
  45. Thank you! I sure am excited to see those!

    ReplyDelete
  46. At least NBC had Dolly Parton. FOX's presentation came across as sad.

    ReplyDelete
  47. He was the weirdest in Scream 4. Did he even limp? And it really felt like he spent most of that movie driving...

    ReplyDelete
  48. I agree, I'm kinda pissy with FOX lately. Sleepy Hollow has been pretty bad last season and lost me, Gotham is just all around something I don't WANT and the rest of their lineup is weak.

Doubt that SQ could get too gore-y, remember this is network TV

    ReplyDelete
  49. Roberts needs to work on her body language. I watched her in a couple of things and she plays different roles all the same. She needs to explore her chacters a bit more and dial down her performance a bit to seem more natural. But with this being SQ, she'll probably push herself over the edge.
She has potential, but I agree no real Lead. But there are other in this show who can help and deliver in moments of need.

    ReplyDelete
  50. That scream queens lawnmower scenes reminds me of an old horror movie from the 90s

    ReplyDelete
  51. I have to agree. Nothing on FOX's slate really intrigues me. There's a few solid picks (The Frankenstein Code, Lucifer) but nothing is must watch.

For trying to make "buzz", they clearly still don't have a clue what actually will make noise. Again, Walden/Newman did not pick Empire. They picked Rosewood. That speaks volumes.

    ReplyDelete
  52. He didn't, his injury was already healed then, not sure if that was adressed but I remember hearing it in the producers commentary

    ReplyDelete
  53. Christopher DeBonoMay 11, 2015 at 10:15 PM

For some reason, I keep seeing SQ as going full "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Campy horror.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I've never seen the Scary Movie movies, I thought he was acting strange from the first one. It was more the way he spoke that I found odd rather the way he moved.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Brign on Scream Queens!!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Agreed, she's...not bad by any means but not at a point I'd consider her fitting for a lead. However you're right, this is a new concept wich will probably force her find the right balance

    ReplyDelete
  57. I am laughing a lot just from reading Andy Samberg. And I imagine the cast of Empire was a sensation performing the iconic songs from the hit show. I think both of those things a lot better than Dolly Parton, but to each his own

    ReplyDelete
  58. waiting patiently for scream queens trailer

    ReplyDelete
  59. Hmmm, you REALLY missed out then (seriously, no matter how bad their reputation is: these movies are hilarious)

I didnt think of him as the weirdest character in the series but rather someone very human. Not the super-cop with attitude but like us: a moron ;)

    ReplyDelete
  60. If only it had Tim Curry in drag too :P

    ReplyDelete
  61. Likewise...
Although despite the fact none of the new shows really grab me, each has something that makes me a a little interested I guess. I don;t think Jon Stamos or Fred Savage is enough to keep me watching though! XD

    ReplyDelete
  62. Christopher DeBonoMay 11, 2015 at 10:20 PM

If only we could be so lucky~

    ReplyDelete
  63. We'll have to wait and see.
I'm checking out. Good Night and I hope U enjoy TO, I'll have plenty to do will watch it tomorrow at some point.

    ReplyDelete
  64. If we do get trailers we won't get mid-season trailers will we? I'm dying to see The Frankenstein Code trailer.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Nah,I think it's called "sometimes they come back..again.

    ReplyDelete
  66. The photos/4-6 seconds teasers has left me anxious.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Criminal Minds, The 100 and Stalker at times seem to disagree. It's just that the word horror makes it sound as if it's something I can't watch alone by night (which is probably true) while the logline sounds much more like HTGAWM (body at campus). Seems so contradicting to me.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'm sure that's how it works,unfortunately.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Excited to see the Minority Report trailer (whenever it becomes available)

    ReplyDelete
  70. I thought so, thanks :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. I am just not sure how to picture horror on network TV.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Ichabod's the best :)

    twitter.com/FOXTV/status/597875792740225025

    ReplyDelete
  73. I don't find The 100 or Stalker too gore and while I don't watch CM regularly, I've seen enough episodes of it not to find it excessively gore either, although I would argue it is the most gore of the 3. However, I suppose this depends on your definition of what is "too gore";) The Walking Dead is my favorite show on television and yeah, that's preeeety gore! And I love AHS, which is also very gore. So i guess I have the standard higher than you do, so those shows don't seem much to me ;)

    ReplyDelete
  74. Night ^^
Stay away from spoilers until tomorrow, wouldn`t want to spoil the finale :D

    Minority Report trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fLl-DMzxrk
    The Frankenstein Code trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNq25SEUTPQ

    ReplyDelete
  76. FINALLY! TThanks so much!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. You're welcome!! :) I have been refreshing FOX's youtube page for a while now it hopes of finally seeing the trailers lol.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Empire had me at Lenny Kravitz guesting. I really need to marathon it this summer.

    ReplyDelete
  79. The Night Stalker TV movie (1972) is awesome. Trapped (1993) TV movie with Kathleen Quinlan is a horror/thriller mix that is also very good. But they are both older examples.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Thanks, going to watch, but no Scream Queens ?!?!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  81. No :( I don't think they've uploaded the trailer yet.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Gotham- smh. Yeah i'm so done with it. lol

I'm still interested in Scream Queens, idc. lol

    ReplyDelete
  83. I need to see that trailer. Wish they'd hurry.

    ReplyDelete
  84. The trailers !! https://www.youtube.com/user/FoxBroadcasting/videos

    ReplyDelete
  85. speaking of the Rocky Horror Picture show, I'd really love to see Repo! The Genetic Opera turned into a show

    ReplyDelete
  86. Tom's adorable. Love him.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Of course I love The 100 and Stalker, but they can be pretty brutal sometimes. In the beginning, I really didn't want to watch Stalker when it was dark. I guess you just have more nerves than I do lol.

I just have trouble seeing what to expect from horror on network tv. I have no problem with solving a murder or anything, but it doesn't sound like it's just a murder. I'll have to see a promo to decide if I even want to give the pilot a try.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Minority Report trailer is quite good.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Ceci Bibbó PollioMay 11, 2015 at 10:42 PM

So excited to see David and Gillian! :D

    ReplyDelete
  90. I wish Lucifer was a little more dark but I'll try it. I love the cast.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Christopher DeBonoMay 11, 2015 at 10:45 PM

I want that 3rd film in the Rocky Horror series to finally see the light. The script leaked and it looks oddly fun.

With Rocky Horror getting a remake, hopefully it'll do well enough to see the sequel 'Shock Treatment' get remade. Then we can finally see 'Revenge Of The Old Queen'.

    ReplyDelete
  92. -Definitely watching The Frankenstein Code now, looks awesome!
-I'd like Minority Report a hell of a lot more if it was two male leads instead one male, one female, I don't really the casting choices either, it looks cool though so I'll give it a few episodes.
    -Pass on Lucifer.

    ReplyDelete
  93. FOX presentation looks way better than NBC

    ReplyDelete
  94. I agree. The shows look a lot better and more original than NBC's roster. I honestly think this is FOX's strongest slate in years. Each show is clear, unique, and has a definite target audience in mind. They should all do very well for FOX.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Well damn! This is definitely going on my list.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I LOOOVED this one, and I wasn't expecting to.

By the way, all the trailers and discussion has moved here: http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/05/fox-new-shows-first-look-promos-region.html

    ReplyDelete
  97. The Frankenstein Code looks good. Adding that to my list. Passing on Minority Report. And as adorable as this Lucifer actor is, he will not get me to watch that show at all. lol That looks like it won't last at all.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I didn't know what to expect, b/c i wasn't keeping tabs on the show. (although i knew of it) but the trailer sold me. And thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  99. And the horrible horror follow up of Rosemary's Baby on ABC plus the failed Bates Motel pilot that aired as a TV movie. :)

    ReplyDelete
  100. Did they happen to mention Bones' episode order or if it will be the final season? Just curious.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I don't believe they did, sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  102. I'm expecting Lucifer and Rosewood to be one and done. Minority Report could end up like Almost Human 2.0, it doens't look cheap. I just hope TFC does well I'm super excited for it after that trailer!

    ReplyDelete
  103. Glad Scream Queens is only 13 eps and will go till December instead of going only 3 episodes in january like AHS.
*Waiting for the performance of the Empire Cast at the BBMA* Fox will do everything to keep those numbers.
Wonder what they say about The Americans...

    ReplyDelete
  104. Okay, thanks. I didn't think they did. I was just making sure.

    ReplyDelete
  105. no worries :) I wish they did announce then we could get a good farewell season etc.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Yeah. I really don't want them to pull a 'House'. But at the same time, I'm not ready to say goodbye.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I feel the same way, its one of my favourite cop dramas and I lost The Mentalist already.

    ReplyDelete
  108. It's been my favorite, next to Lost, for years.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I doubt Lucifer and Rosewood will make it past the first season. Never watched Almost Human (definitely didn't pull me in and obviously by its cancellation i made the right choice not to even bother) I'm not "excited" for TFC, but it did get my attention, so i'm hopeful. I hope it ends up in a spot where i can actaully watch it. My Thursdays are way too cramped right now. I have to look to see what day and time it's airing. I hope it's a Monday, i have a little room for a monday slot.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Looking forward to Scream Queens - looks like they are taking the Harper's Island approach to revealing the killer!

    ReplyDelete
  111. Hannibal, Fear Factor, Criminal Minds.

    ReplyDelete
  112. This SCREAM QUEENS trailer could be dubbed in Urdu and I'd know it was Ryan Murphy. The tone/style is AMERICAN HORROR STORY: GLEE

HA!!! And I'm totally not surprised... which is why it will probably not grab me.

    Soooooome interesting stuff in there...

Gotham: Looking forward to Mr Freeze next season. Wonder how they'll go more into the Joker, and if that means Jerome will be back...

Glad the Grinder and Grandfather got some positive vibes. Looking forward to all the promos and clips from the shows now...

    ReplyDelete
  113. Lucifer-will try a few episodes but feels like another constantine. The procedural aspect might make me stop watching. Tom ellis is hot though.
The Frankenstein code-Mmmm Didn;t really grab my attention.
Grandfathered-Don't watch much comedies but checked the trailer out and this was actually kind of good. Still won't watch though.
The grinder-Ugh please change the name. Not going to watch either.
Rosewood-It wasn't as bad as some of you have been saying but still not going to watch. Don't like procedural cop shows. The only good thing about this is the main guy.
Bordetown-Mmm I'm hispanic I thought I was going to be offended by this but sort of wasn't. Conflicted on this.
X=files-Ugh when a show ends please let it stay dead. Hate all these revivals and reboots.
Scream Queens-I need an official trailer now. I really want to watch this show. Ii love almost all the cast members.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Agreed. I don't understand why FOX is taking so long. Clearly Scream Queens is the one show that everyone is looking forward to and FOX leaves it out? So stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  115. FOX are assholes. smh.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I hope Jennifer Hudson joins as a regular on Empire.
