I hate Madison. She completely bailed on Carter when she needed her most and then she just walks back into her life and starts judging her choices. I hate fair-weather friends, Max is an example of what a friend should be.
Sometimes I almost feel like Finding Carter would've been better as a movie or a short mini-series instead of a show. As a show they overuse Lori - obviously she's the craziest, probably most memorable character, but her psychosis and manipulative behavior get old over the course of a whole season...it's like every time she shows up the show just sort of reduces itself to Lori's crazy mode and I just can't take so much more of the same...in a shorter format like a movie it would've been more effective. I love a lot of things about this show but that bothers me
I did find the pageant to be pretty amusing and a nice little (not so?)subtle jab at annoying affluent women and their 'causes' which are just excuses to massage their own egos and outdo their friends...they totally nailed it with this one. Oh and I also loved that they used "Keep It Going" by Splash when Taylor, Elizabeth and Joan arrive backstage, I was so glad to hear that song and laughed to myself when Elizabeth immediately leaves to go find herself a drink.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
