Fear the Walking Dead’s fight for survival grew Thursday. Mercedes Mason (Chuck, The Finder) has been added as a series regular to the companion program to AMC’s flagship franchise Walking Dead.
Her role is unknown to this point, but akin to the recently cast Elizabeth Rodriguez (Orange is the New Black)—which EW exclusively reported last week—Mason will likely first appear after the debut episode, as the pilot has already been shot. She fleshes out the main cast, which includes Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, and Frank Dillane.
