Legends of Tomorrow
When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known? DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW stars Victor Garber (“The Flash,” “Alias”); Brandon Routh (“Arrow,” “Superman Returns”); Arthur Darvill (“Doctor Who”); Caity Lotz (“Arrow”); Ciarra Renee (“Pippin”); Franz Drameh (“Edge of Tomorrow”); with Dominic Purcell (“The Flash,” “Prison Break”); and Wentworth Miller (“The Flash,” “Prison Break”). Based on the characters from DC Comics, DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (“The Flash,” upcoming “Pan”), Marc Guggenheim (“Eli Stone,” “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters”), Andrew Kreisberg (“The Flash,” “Eli Stone,” “Warehouse 13”) and Sarah Schechter (“The Flash,” upcoming “Pan”).
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
Rebecca Bloom is a successful, driven, and possibly crazy young woman who impulsively gives up everything – her partnership at a prestigious law firm and her upscale apartment in Manhattan – in a desperate attempt to find love and happiness in that exotic hotbed of romance and adventure: West Covina, Calif. (it’s only two hours from the beach! Four in traffic). From CBS Studios, CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND stars Rachel Bloom (“Robot Chicken”), who also serves as executive producer along with Aline Brosh McKenna (“The Devil Wears Prada”); and Marc Webb (“500 Days of Summer,” “The Amazing Spider-Man” films).
Cordon
When a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives while local and federal officials desperately search for a cure. Trying to keep the peace on the streets is police officer Lex Carnahan, who has quickly risen through the ranks of the Atlanta PD. But Lex’s job becomes even harder when he learns that his longtime girlfriend, Jana, and his best friend and fellow officer Jake, are trapped within the cordoned area. Also quarantined in viral ground zero is 17 year-old Teresa, who is eight months pregnant and now separated from her boyfriend on the other side; Katie Frank, an elementary school teacher now placed on lockdown with her entire class, including her young son; and CDC researcher Dr. Victor Cannerts, the doctor who initially made the controversial call to quarantine the area and is now racing to find a cure for the virus. On the outside, Dr. Sabine Lommers is leading the government efforts to contain the outbreak, and has asked for Lex’s help in enforcing the cordon – which grows increasingly difficult as the public trust deteriorates. And the public has reason to be wary, as journalist Leo begins unraveling a conspiracy, finding that something doesn’t add up in the official story being told. Torn apart from their loved ones, the survivors trapped within the cordon are fighting against not only fatal infection, but also isolation, fear, and the disintegration of society around them. But as they begin to gain each other’s trust, hope remains, and on either side of the cordon unlikely heroes will rise. CORDON stars David Gyasi (“Interstellar”); Christina Moses (“Starship: Apocalypse,” “Starship: Rising”); Chris Wood (“The Vampire Diaries”); Kristen Gutoskie (“Beaver Falls”); Claudia Black (“The Originals,” “Farscape”); George Young (“Casualty”); Hanna Mangan Lawrence (“Spartacus: War of the Damned”);and Trevor St. John (“One Life to Live”). Based on the original Belgian series created by Carl Joos for Eyeworks, CORDON is produced by My So-Called Company in association with Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Julie Plec (“The Vampire Diaries,” “The Originals”) and David Nutter (The Flash,” “Arrow”).

YES!! Legends of Tomorrow :) Mainly for Caity Lotz. Also Arthur Darvill too.
ReplyDeleteVery surprising that the CW picked up some failed Showtime pilot.
ReplyDeleteDead people is dead, but rose two tenths as Crazy Ex Girlfriend!
ReplyDeleteI am gone for 10 minutes and so much happens
ReplyDeleteI did not see this one coming!!! not at all!
ReplyDeleteAwesome for Legends of Tomorrow! The only CW pilot I'm looking forward to since they passed on Cheerleader Death Squad :/ I seriously can't wait to find out Caity Lotz's character.
ReplyDeleteReally excited about Legends of Tomorrow. Congrats all!
ReplyDeleteWTF? no CBS show? so the parnership is over?
ReplyDeletecordon and crazy ex girlfriend what exactly are these show?
ReplyDeleteLoT is a no brainer, another DC entry full of characters that resemble currently popular MCU characters (ATOM - Iron Man, Hawkgirl - Thor, Dr. Stein - Banner, Black Widow - White Canary etc.) has to be a success
ReplyDeletebut are we really going to use this title?!
WTF is Crazy Ex-Girlfrienf?! Never heard of it
ReplyDeleteI did not expect to be so disappointed by CW, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend really?
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way.... YAY!!!! Legends of Tomorrow was, BY FAAAAR, the pilot I wanted the most. It was just such a sure thing that I didn't bother to be happy enough with the news. Excited for Cordon as well!
ReplyDeletethe one is an adaption of a norwegian drama and the other is probably classic CW
ReplyDeleteIt is a showtime pilot lol. The world is about to end.
ReplyDeleteReign/BatB/JtV are still on
ReplyDeleteI'm still stunned. I thought CDS would deliver, cause of Alan and Abbiie
ReplyDeleteI quite like the title
ReplyDeleteI wish ABC would announce their renewals soon, but I know it will be when I'm asleep. Damn them.
ReplyDeleteit's mystical and all but doesen't sound super-hero-y
ReplyDeleteThere's a reason it failed LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah I guess JTV getting nominated was more important.
ReplyDeleteYES!!! This is great news.
ReplyDeleteI'm also a fan of the title. It has some edge to it. It's really tough to find a working title for a spin off show. And this is solid, not amazing but solid.
ReplyDeleteSo it will have nudity?
ReplyDeleteCrazy Ex Girlfriend is a CBS show i believe
ReplyDeleteis there another show they have to pass on or pick up yet?
ReplyDeleteAll I need to know is that Peggy and Jarvis will be having more adventures :) Because most of my other shows are safe on ABC.
ReplyDeleteAll-Star Squadron
ReplyDeleteDisappointed they didn't pick up Dead People or Tales from the Darkside but I'll at least check out Cordon.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Deadline, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is a half-hour comedy: http://deadline.com/2015/02/crazy-ex-girlfriend-pilot-dead-showtime-roadies-billions-good-1201369490/
ReplyDeleteWhat is the CW doing? They can't just do one half-hour comedy, unless they air double episodes.
Have they announced Dead People yet? That's the only one unless they pull another Crazy Ex-Girfriend on us.
ReplyDeleteThey could turn JtV into a half-hour comedy. Could work actually
ReplyDeleteIf it's ready for fall, first up in the cancellation pool: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. It doesn't get much worse than that in a synopsis.
ReplyDeleteCordon is the most intriguing at CW.
Yeah I'm the same, Agent Carter is the one I'm anxious about. I know Galavant is already dead so I will be sad but its expected.
ReplyDeleteI'm betting on Girlfriend airing Mondays, Originals to Thursdays
ReplyDeleteWhat? Are you serious?
ReplyDeleteThey're not gonna mess with JtV.
ReplyDeleteIt is being redeveloped as an hour long series
ReplyDeleteOkay, I found this Crazy Ex-Girlfriend pilot, but really CW? It doesn't sound remotely interesting and since it's a half-hour comedy it will be probably on Friday after WLIIA. In another word, it's dead already.
ReplyDeleteIs it a 30 minutes comedy?
ReplyDeleteCordon?
ReplyDeletemusical comedy ... oh it gets even worse
ReplyDeleteId like to see TO back on Tuesdays.
ReplyDeletewith its current ratings? Why not try to imrpove it? CBS has been retooling its shows for years now after a semi-failure
ReplyDeleteIt will bomb hard.
ReplyDeleteThey are redeveloping it. The pilot will be shot again. I am sure the content is also inadequate. Showtime has a lot of language inappropriate for broadcast.
ReplyDeleteI wish Galavant had more resolution. It was a fun show though.
ReplyDeleteNo, the CW is redeveloping it into an hour long show.
ReplyDeleteThere's retooling and there's turning an hour show into a half-hour show. When has that ever happened?
ReplyDeleteMaybe they're saving it for midseason?
ReplyDeleteBreaking-In
ReplyDeleteYeah, it made me smile so much, I still giggle when I think about the Secret Mission song.
ReplyDeleteSame here. I am going crazy with the lack of Carter news.
ReplyDeleteDeadline says is dead.
ReplyDeleteCordon is based on a series from Belgium.
ReplyDeleteMonday: TO and JTV
ReplyDeleteTuesday: Flash and Cordon
Wednesday: Arrow and SPN
Thursday: iZombie and VD
Friday: Reign /limited fall run 8 eps, rest in the summer/ and TopModel.
Cordon & Flarrow Spin-off both got picked up-YESSSSSSS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCome to me,Chris wood!
Yes, I am.
ReplyDeleteTuesday at 9, I don't see iZombie making the fall schedule
ReplyDeleteMaybe Alan will become Damien Darhk over on Arrow if Sebastian Roche doesn't get the job.
ReplyDeleteOnce it was on the air?
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's JtV's critical acclaim.
They are re-shooting the pilot to remove those.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, please just give us the news!
ReplyDeleteI hope other network start their renewal announcement now....
ReplyDeleteDamn I have to go to bed very soon! I will miss all the fun
ReplyDeleteOf course not.LOL!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't they still do Dead people? They may not be done. Or has it been passed on?
ReplyDeleteCrazy Ex-Girlfriend appears to be from CBS studios.
ReplyDeleteSo it might get a small chance to survive after all, but honestly I can't see a hourlong musical comedy working on CW. I hope they redevelop the musical element too.
ReplyDeleteDeadline says is dead.
ReplyDeleteYou don't even know how much I wish today was Friday
ReplyDeleteDeadline says it is yeah
ReplyDeleteAsking the important questions. :P ;) :)
ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly it was retooled from a drama-comedy to a half hour comedy in season 2. That show got messed with BAD
ReplyDeleteYeah...so do many shows? I would see no reason why not to turn JtV into a half hour comedy, not like the quality would drop, in fact shorter episodes could help them tighten their plots
I'm from Belgium and the show wasn't a hit so.. hope it will be one for the cw.
ReplyDeleteDeadline says its not looking good for Dead People and since they already plucked up two WB pilots and ordered three new shows,DP is unlikely to make it
ReplyDeleteThis the season the CW jumped the shark. Was first to renew by Renewing all fall shows, including sinking Reign at the TCA. (Not counting HoD, it was technically spring)BATB gets renewed for a 4th season before it even aired a 3rd! They picked up a SHOWTIME pilot in another move that no one saw coming. And a show everyone thought would be DOA went on to get them a Golden Globe and CC nominations, possibly EMMY'S.
ReplyDeleteIf this were a TV drama, this would've been an insane season... it's like Glee on crack.
oh, right...can't keep my european countries seperated I guess
ReplyDeleteNo.Its being retooled for broadcast
ReplyDeleteJust can't see it happening, but I'll agree to disagree.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you heard the Emily Van Camp news?
ReplyDeleteLEGENDS OF TOMORROW by EW
ReplyDelete"In Legends, when heroes alone are not enough, the world needs
legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent
from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) is
tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to
confront an unstoppable threat—one in which not only is the planet at
stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal
threat unlike anything they have ever known?"
fine by me *shakes hand*
ReplyDeleteWow, I was so focussed on all this news that I totally misread your comment. I thought the show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was about the world going to end. Lol!
ReplyDeleteWhen heroes alone are not enough ... the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?"
ReplyDeleteAnd if the Showtime Execs weren't satisfied with the pilot with all the creative freedom that Pay TV provides I can only imagine how bad it will be on network TV
ReplyDeleteSorry Bad Robot, but congrats to the rest. I'm sure you Arrow & Flash fans are incredibly happy! :)
ReplyDeleteYes i have :) great for her! I will still miss emily thorne
ReplyDeleteWhere the f*ck dead Crazy Ex-Girlfriend come from, So un-CW!
ReplyDeleteI won't be suprised if Jane & Crazy Ex-Girlfriend are paired together at midseason
ReplyDeleteSo that means probably only Cordon will make fall schedule ... since LoT and other show are not shot yet, we won't even get trailer at upfronts
ReplyDeleteMy excitement for the show is so high!
ReplyDeleteNot to mention in non-CW news: we saw both a show get cancelled after three full seasons AND a show drop 0.9 from its last episode in the span of 12 hours
ReplyDeleteI'm not entirely happy with theCWs actions either, it feels highly rushed and I'm not convinced any studio would give their (low scoring) network the budget to keep 14 low rated shows alive
ReplyDeleteIKR! And i live in europe, that makes it even worse!
ReplyDeleteI didn't!Tell me.
ReplyDeleteI can't even control myself over Legends of Tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteo.O to complicated! This slides easier over the lips.
ReplyDeleteShe will be in the next captain america
ReplyDeletewho is the villain sound like Vandal Savage.....he is someone who could be a major threat to the earth?
ReplyDeleteI did not see that coming!!
ReplyDeleteLoT will get a presentation of sorts. They filmed some scenes for that purpose
ReplyDeleteYep.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see Rip Hunter!
ReplyDeleteI so wish i did not live in europe right now
ReplyDeleteSavage isn't world-threatening though
ReplyDeleteBy bet's on OMAC
Okay, CW Ex-Girlfriend is from CBS, and since the other CBS pilot were crap ( I guess), CW was forced to pick up this one. At least that's my take.
ReplyDeleteThis is true! And we had a show go 3's to 6's in what 10 weeks?
ReplyDeleteExpected.Good for her!
ReplyDeletewhy?
ReplyDeleteprobably, no way the CW could survive with only WB behind it
ReplyDeleteWell...she's a crazy ex-girlfriend...so she came outta nowhere. :)
ReplyDeleteI will miss all the fun. I have to go to bed soon when all the fun happens
ReplyDeleteLOL!!
ReplyDeleteI need him, Merlyn and Dinah Lance to meet and discuss time travel and some mysterious handsome Doctor
ReplyDeleteso do i ... but ill keep checking haha
ReplyDeleteIt just all seems so, "lets throw this on it and see if it sticks."
ReplyDeleteIndeed. She is very happy about it! But her character as emily thorne will always be my favorite of hers
ReplyDeleteNo wonder CBS always has low rated shows on CW. Can they actually order CBS show that sounds like a hit at once?
ReplyDeleteSo I wonder if we'll start hearing about that 'Big Summer' they mentioned previously...
ReplyDeleteSo CBS forced them to pick up something sorta compatible with JtV?
ReplyDeleteCW's terrible decisions are not criticized enough. Their process of renewals was completely crazy and focused only on corporate interest, not ratings. I really cringe at CW's ratings next year as they are sure to be some terrible nights.
ReplyDeleteSignificant mother-CW sitcom premiering aug 3 being one of them.
ReplyDeleteI thought that was summer 2016?
ReplyDeleteOk ABC come on now!!!!!!!! Before i go to bed
ReplyDeleteI doubt the show will be ready to air during fall. Probably midseason, most likely summer.
ReplyDeleteSo far,only BatB.
ReplyDeletesounds more superheroy tho ^^
ReplyDelete(also it could be made to look like Avengers....both start with an A. if they used the same font they could oh-so easily cash in on Avengers)
That's an import, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI believe the big summer was for 2016 not 2015. But we might hear of them developing some shows/making some announcements now.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they won't disappoint me as much as CW just had
ReplyDeletetomorrow is probs when we get news... knowing our luck haha.
ReplyDeleteI think it will happen tonight still
ReplyDeleteNot happening!
ReplyDeleteSame here. But it will be like christmas when you'll wake up lol
ReplyDeleteLate tonight (US time).
ReplyDeleteProbably only BatB and maybe Reign, which i am not even sure about since they will only premiere Cordon in fall, so Reign could easily get Friday spot
ReplyDeleteNoup original program with TO's Nate Buzolic, Josh Zuckerman and one other biggish name.
ReplyDeleteIt was intended for only internet launch but they changed that.
dammit.... well ill be sleeping... or not ☺
ReplyDeleteYeah, but we might hear about some development stuff/their plans soon.
ReplyDeleteLike the Backpackers (sort of).
ReplyDeleteI live in India. Please can you tell me approx how many hours we'll have to wait from nor?
ReplyDeleteYeah but it's supposed to be a secret presentation from what I've heard, I don't know if it would be available for us anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's pretty much Backpackers 2.0
ReplyDeleteA CW Seed show that was re-developed/converted to TV format.
Lol!
ReplyDeleteI will Unfortunately. I will get up early though so that i have time ro read though everything
ReplyDeleteKrista Allen!!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping!
ReplyDeleteI get The Flash, Supernatural, TVD, Arrow and iZombie being renewed
ReplyDeleteI somewhat understand TO and The 100
but I, for the life of me, can't figure out how BatB, Reign and JtV made it to next seasons lineup (except the obvious fact that all three shows are produced by CBS)
refresh... refresh.... refresh... haha all the time until more news comes in.
ReplyDeleteHurray Legends... Everything else no thanks
ReplyDeleteyou know me, always trying to cash in on the popular stuff (HIRE ME ASYLUM)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds interesting but there is a scheduling issue now. They moved the awful trimming show from Fridays to that same timeslot only a week earlier. God knows how that will end.
ReplyDeleteI keep doing it!
ReplyDeleteUgh crazy ex girlfriend sounds terrible and showtime passed up on it so yeah this show will definitely do terrible like any other cbs show the cw picks up. But yay for cordon and legends of tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteRight? It is like they are not even trying to pick CBS show that could actually be successful
ReplyDeleteIt's because The CW's contract with the Tribune which is the company that owns and runs the tv stations is coming up and they wanted to have a secure slate going into negotiations.
ReplyDeletecordon and legends of tomorrow sound amazing ... the other one not so much.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone else think CBS will save their renewal decisions for after they see how Odd Couple does tonight?
ReplyDeleteHow many love triangles will Cordon have?
ReplyDeleteWell the Tribune CEO did mention a while back that CBS is doing this on purpose. They don't want really successful shows on The CW so they don't compete with their main network. They just want cheap shows that can luck out/be forced to syndication.
ReplyDeleteI agree. JtV I actually like, but it's ratings are far cry from being okay. They have just done some weird stuff this year.
ReplyDeleteguessing it will be sometime later tonight
ReplyDeleteKnowing Julie,Every one of them will involve Chris wood somehow!
ReplyDeleteTrue. Let us hope for Kingmakers!!!!
ReplyDelete4 to 5
ReplyDeleteCrazy ex who?. DAMED CW. I guess no new shows for me to watch next year from you
ReplyDeleteWhy would they? It has TBBT finale as a lead-in so it will easily crack a 2.0 imo. And if they really want to wait, they can announce the other decisions earlier.
ReplyDeleteAnd we thought that this year CW would be predictable hahaha
ReplyDelete6 A.M here?Yikes!
ReplyDeleteThat's like 4AM for me sadly
ReplyDeleteI get that, but is this really the best way to secure a contract. Surprise renewals for underperformers, picking up pilots that weren't even ordered by them?
ReplyDeletePlenty probably.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know there is already an established center couple, but JP will push people in-between for sure as they are on different sides of the epidemic.
That is 3AM for me! Damn
ReplyDelete24,465 most probs.
ReplyDeleteCan we already say that Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will be next season pity renewal, since it is CBS owned?
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's like the CW wants to fail. picking up a failed Showtime pilot WTF!
ReplyDeleteI have no interest in LoT but I'll probably watch Cordon even though I shouldn't because Plec will be ruining it, only because it has Chris Wood (Joy Haldar if you read this, I blame you fot this hehe)
Chris Wood isn't meant to be one of the central characters (though he is a main cast members). Apparently the central 2 are Gyasi and Moses, marking the first time the CW has had a show with a black leading duo.
ReplyDeleteAll decisions have already been made.
ReplyDeleteIt's possible. The Crazy Ones got canned because it dipped too low in its one hour finale. (that and 20th Fox were trying to package too many shows for CBS to pickup/renew and the whole thing fell apart)
ReplyDelete180 comments in less than 30 minutes? WOW!
ReplyDeleteYay for "Legends of Tomorrow". I love Caity Lotz and Wentworth Miller. I will certainly checked out Julie Plec's "Cordon" pilot.
ReplyDeleteProbably not as it will air during midseason and JTV will scrap that renewal in-front of it.
ReplyDeleteI hope it premieres to a .2 and the cw is forced to cancel it.
ReplyDeleteI will pray whole night that when i wake up i can read that they changed their mind about CDS
ReplyDeleteOne can only dream i guess :(
Ya,i know.That's what they're going with.I'm sure it'll stick.LOL!
ReplyDeleteCW erupts this site, like no other does. Especially with this latest move.
ReplyDeleteSo "Dead People" is Dead ;) right ?
ReplyDeleteI wonder just how bad the Cheerleader and the Darkside pilots were that the CW chose to go with a half-hour pilot that is going to be re-tooled and currently contains only one actress. Ouch.
ReplyDeleteCW has a renewed a CBS owned new show in the past 2 years. And they only have one new CBS owned show going into next season.
ReplyDeleteNothing official yet,but yes.
ReplyDelete0.2 could also mean 2-season renewal on CW
ReplyDeleteSo can we feed Dead People to Liv?
ReplyDelete:D
That's 7AM for me, and I don't plan on sleeping tonight, even though I have a class at 8.30.
ReplyDeleteI know. It's weird that it's the network with the least number of audience and yet it's the most popular network on the internet.
ReplyDeleteAh U meant as a new show? Yeah that will happen. But I think it will premier for summer maybe don't think it will be ready for fall, maybe late spring.
ReplyDeleteThat's assuming the CW will continue to live on after next season.. Don't Tribune contracts expire next summer?
ReplyDeleteAre you planning on sleeping in class?
ReplyDeleteYes I need kingmakers especially now that cheerleader death squad is dead.
ReplyDelete
