Pass on all of them.
ReplyDeleteand CBS has moved
ReplyDeleteYAY Limitless, it was the one I really wanted from them! I will probably check out Rush Hour too, let's see trailer! Very glad about this!!!
ReplyDeleteYay Limitless! I'll check out Rush Hour as well. Pass on the rest.
ReplyDeleteI could care less for any of them lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about "Limitless", although it may be too procedural for me in the long run.
ReplyDeleteLimitless!! I loved that movie and I'm so excited to have Jennifer Carpenter back on my TV again. I'll wait for the trailers for the rest of the shows.
ReplyDeleteHappy for Code Black (the fact that could have Maggie Grace back on TV is sad). I might also try Limitless
ReplyDeleteDoubt is dead, i guess, sadly
I've passed CBS itself long time ago.
ReplyDeleteThe only show i will check out is Code Black.
ReplyDeleteThe movie wasn't that good at all.
ReplyDeleteHappy for life in pieces and Code Black !
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of show is limitless?
ReplyDeleteI hope they pair Limitless with Scorpion, that would be a great night for me.
ReplyDeleteNote: According to TVLine
ReplyDeleteAnna Gunn will not be continuing with the series
PASS.
ReplyDeleteAll I care about them is POI.
ReplyDeleterian Sinclair discovers the power of the mysterious drug NZT and is coerced into using his newfound drug-enhanced abilities to solve weekly cases for the FBI, alongside FBI Agent Rebecca Tate…
ReplyDeleteI concur.
ReplyDeleteWithout limits.
ReplyDeleteOkay, okay. I will show myself out.
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, because NCIS: NOLA and CSI: Cyber worked out well for CBS. They both became huge hits.....oh wait.
ReplyDeleteRush Hour is an immediate candidate for first cancellation if it ends up in the fall.
Another procedural lol.
ReplyDeleteReally? I thought it was great for what it was. It had a pretty cool concept.
ReplyDeleteI never saw it, but I wanted to. Maybe I need to bump it up the Netflix queue.
ReplyDeleteAccording to deadline, both CBS pickups are single cas!
ReplyDeleteCool concept, but it wasn't executed well.
ReplyDeleteI might check out Limitless, if only for Jennifer Carpenter.
ReplyDeleteBesides Limitless, the rest of the dramas kinda look DOA
ReplyDeleteNO is what they wanted from it. It has okay, if disapointing numbers, and it will give them millions in syndication.
ReplyDeleteYes me too. Jennifer Carpenter!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think Lucy did the whole enhanced abilities thing better.
ReplyDeleteCBS shows don't tend to do it for me so its not an exciting night for me ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, me too. I wish they would put it Mondays at 10.
ReplyDeleteCriminal Minds: Beyond Borders? Can't they just come with an original name and gain original viewers?
ReplyDeleteIt'll be a syndication windfall. But I don't think it's finished its ratings decline yet. Next year I'm expecting sub 1.5 ratings to be the norm for that show.
ReplyDeleteDidn't read the whole thread but any explanation over POI's finale ratings? No promo or fans just can't be bothered?
ReplyDeleteNo one knows.
ReplyDeleteLife in Pieces has a huge cast, damn!
ReplyDeleteI hope Limitless is just as fun as Scorpion
I wonder why Anna Gunn dropped out of CM:BB.
HERE WE GO BOYS.
ReplyDeleteCBS needs to find it's own Chicago franchise!
ReplyDeleteWell different strokes for different folks I guess then.
ReplyDeleteDeadline: CBS’ bet on two single-camera comedies is interesting. I hear the
ReplyDeletenetwork brass also liked multi-camera sitcom The Half Of It, said to be
fairly traditional, but couldn’t find a place for it. There may be some
play for it down the road.
If they won't order more multicams, I think it means they will launch the block of single cams together and it probably means TOC is canned.
Code Black and Angel from Hell. YEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
ReplyDeleteThe NCIS or CSI franchises are way more successful than the Chicago franchise.
ReplyDeleteNow we want the renewal ! ^^
ReplyDeleteVariety says CSI is looking good.
ReplyDeleteAnd is Super Clyde dead again?
ReplyDeleteI was mostly kidding but in the future...it may be something.
ReplyDeleteExactly!! I have missed her ever since Dexter went off the air and I got so pissed when ABC didn't pick up her show, Sea of Fire last season. Thankfully she's coming next season.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to try a new comedy. Life in Pieces has a great cast. I've had no luck with comedies. I miss Enlisted.
ReplyDeleteAnna Gunn can do better than this, hope she gets a more interesting show in the future.
ReplyDeleteSo Super Clyde is dead
ReplyDeleteAny news on H50?Hands shaking now while typing :(
ReplyDeleteGood news ! Though I guess they'll cancel Cyber (which is falling more and more)
ReplyDeleteShe deserves an awesome drama and not be stuck in a procedural.
ReplyDeleteI know, ugh
ReplyDeletethey should stop pushing down our throats criminal minds spin-offs
ReplyDeleteIt looks good
ReplyDeleteI loved it honestly. It was different.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, especially after Gracepoint failed as well.
ReplyDeleteVariety says it looks good
ReplyDeleteMight check out Limitless and Code Black.
ReplyDeleteAnd there goes any interest I ever had in watching it. I knew someone was left off the cast list.
ReplyDeleteThe bigger problem is that the scope of material is very limited. It's going to be the same Israel/Iran/Iraq topics again and again.
AMEN!
ReplyDeleteI just checked and it's not on Netflix USA :( But anyway, yes I recommend the movie. It's not like OMG THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER but it was pretty well done overall and Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro were great. I definitely want to rewatch it again before the show comes out.
ReplyDeleteI still don't understand how CBS manages to air boring cop shows all week long and still be financially profitable.
ReplyDeleteI will watch all 4 dramas, every one is likeable to me in some way.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Well luckily they don't need to resort to that....yet.
ReplyDeleteIsnt Angel from Hell called now Amy from Hell?
ReplyDeleteOld audiences.
ReplyDeleteAMEN!!!!
ReplyDeleteAngel from Hell has flop written all over it.
ReplyDeleteCBS tries to do something out of the box (for them) and it's general audience tends to go "hmmm....nope!".
ReplyDeleteThis one will flop, too.
ReplyDeleteI shouldn't even be surprised they managed to turn Limitless into a procedural. Shame on ME.
ReplyDeleteU have a lot of space in Ur schedule. ^^
ReplyDeleteI take CB out of this bunch.
They have NCIS franchise.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the "no" promo ? I read on tuesday, cbs only showed clip at 7pm & 8pm"tonight on cbs new épisodes of NCIS&NCIS NO" nothing about POI
ReplyDeleteold audience for most of it and iconic shows (NCIS franchise, Criminal Minds, CSI franchise, TBBT)...
ReplyDeleteA thing, Person of Interest knows all too well.
ReplyDeleteNot sure. I could see it work if they promote it along Mom.
ReplyDeleteI can't see it doing better than CSI: Cyber's ratings. And it's going to skew Madam Secretary old.
ReplyDeleteNo. Where did you see that?
ReplyDeleteIndeed
ReplyDeleteStill in pain cause the Adam Brody pilot was passes on.
ReplyDeleteI decided to throw out the original CM for this new, if the new one is bad ill stick to the old one. Most of the dramas cant hold my interest so my schedule isnt packed too much.
ReplyDeleteI was looking forward to that one too
ReplyDeleteCode Black
ReplyDeleteCode Black in an Emergency Room is an influx of patients so great that there aren't enough personnel or resources to treat them all. The average urban ER is in Code Black 5 times a year. LA County Hospital is in Code Black 300 times per year. This is the story of four residents who are getting their first taste of ER medicine at the LA County Hospital, and the medical staff who mentor, teach and terrify them.
Limitless
Limitless follows Brian Sinclair as he discovers the power of the mysterious drug NZT and is coerced into using his newfound drug-enhanced abilities to solve weekly cases for the FBI
Rush Hour
Staying close to the premise of the original movie, the show centers on a stoic, by-the-book Hong Kong police officer assigned to a case in Los Angeles, where he’s forced to work with a cocky black LAPD officer who has no interest in a partner.
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders focuses on a division of the FBI that helps Americans in trouble abroad.
Angel from Hell
Allison is an over-intense, workaholic dermatologist, and she regards herself as a person of science, about as spiritual as a plank of very hard wood. She's thrown herself into her work after the death of her mother, and she's taken over running the family's medical practice, because her dad is slowly walking away from the business but won't admit it. When a brassy oddball named Amy shows up with total knowledge of Allison's life, and claims to be her guardian angel, Allison has to decide if she's confronted by a loud, oversharing wingnut with a bizarre knowledge of Allison's personal life -- or if she's dealing with a loud, oversharing emissary from Heaven.
Life in Pieces
Life in Pieces tells the story of one family through the perspectives of its different family members.
Now for renewals and cancellations ?
ReplyDeleteSo I am guessing Limitless and Code Black are definitely for fall. Beyond Borders can go either way. (They should just drop the CM thing to make it seem less like another franchise. lol) Rush Hour I could see midseason or in the fall as well. SuperGirl was rumored to potentially be a SuperBowl launch? I could see it. Don't know or care about the comedies. They don't grab me at all yet.
ReplyDeleteI hope NBC will start soon. They still have some drama pilots i am interested in
ReplyDeleteBring it on!!!
ReplyDeleteWaiting patiently lol
ReplyDeleteHollywood Reporter had it on their list but looks like they changed it back to Angel from Hell.
ReplyDeleteEach one is sounding more boring than the other.LOL!
ReplyDeleteSo sad that they turn everything into procedural. I am really afraid for Supergirl to be honest
ReplyDeleteI sure CBS renew is coming soon
ReplyDeleteI can't work like that. I barely can drop a show if I start watching.
ReplyDeleteI hope CBS gives Sneaky Pete a order to bring the number of dramas to 6. They will probably buy at least one more comedy The Half of It or Super Clyde( I still have hope for SC).
ReplyDeleteSo, two movie adaptation, a spin-off, and an ER thingy? Way to be original. Worse thing is, I think I'll check all four pilots...
ReplyDeleteWhich ones? Mine are Warrior, The Player and Game of Silence.
ReplyDeleteDeadline says they don't want more comedies for lack of space
ReplyDeleteNot many of the Dramas sound appealing to me.. but I'm not expecting much. I've had a good run sp far, I'm sure there's going to be some disapointment. Lol
ReplyDeleteAngel From Hell is exactly how not to write a synopsis. Long, boring, cliche, and eye rolling. What was CBS thinking?
ReplyDeleteYou say bring it. I say you're not yet ready @Mr. Edmodo. You first have to accept yesterday's renewals.
ReplyDelete:P ;)
All pilots sound great!
ReplyDeleteI sure some people saw scorpion will be a failure and it look like they are wrong
ReplyDeleteThanks, they should bring 1 in case one of these 2 flop so they dont get in the situation they have to put a TBBT R.
ReplyDeleteWarrior, Game of Silence and i am even interested in Unveiled but that one seems dead
ReplyDeleteStill hoping some kind of miracle can happen for Fuentes Women
I'm also kind of like this. The only series where I have to watch from the start is for better or worse, and Shonda show (except Grey's Anatomy; too long!) and The Amazing Race. I've dropped a few shows not because of it's quality but because it's not "must see tv" for me. Oh and I can't be bothered recording or trying the find/download the ep.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy Limitless and Code Black got ordered. They're are among the few I wanted ordered.
ReplyDeleteAlmost everyone said it last year
ReplyDeleteIts easy for me to drop a procedural it doesnt have a story that you need to follow closely.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind procedurals if they offer a wide spectrum of topics/presentations. But they all end up becoming the same show by episode 13. A viewer literally could turn on any dramatic hour and think it's any of their dramas.
ReplyDeleteMy one fear about Supergirl going on CBS was that it would CSI with superpowers. It comes from the creator of Arrow though doesn't it? So I have a little hope.
ReplyDeleteANGEL FROM HELL!!!!!! YEEEEEEE
ReplyDeleteAll boring Renew Stalker
ReplyDeleteI don't know what is happening to me, last year I didn't watch any CBS drama (only Tbbt, htgawm and Taahm) this year I added Scorpion, on fall I'll pick up Supergirl and Code Black.
ReplyDeleteSeems like I'm getting old.
Well, they obviously aren't boring to a large segment of viewers...young or older.
ReplyDeleteProcedurals are always easy to drop IMO.
ReplyDeleteLimitless sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteBTW,i was thinking about giving Scorpion a go this summer.Should i try it?
ReplyDeleteI might not be alive to see the upfronts.
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!!!
ReplyDeletehope so !
ReplyDeleteYeah but mostly a spinoff didnt attract me to drop the original one (im watching both NCIS and NCIS LA ,they are different IMO, NCIS NO dropped after the pilot) we ll see.
ReplyDeleteIt just means the concepts appeal to you. Nothing wrong with that.
ReplyDeletewould it be nice for it to be the shocked renewal like American Crime & Galavant were last night
ReplyDeleteI saw promos for POI.
ReplyDelete— Michael Botti (@mbotti) May 8, 2015
ReplyDeleteCBS, give season 5 for Person of Interest or John Reese is gonna show your executives what a real monster looks like.
ReplyDelete- Can you hear me?
- Hell yes.
Watch the movie.
ReplyDeleteI feel like this year they pick not a lot of new shows... Next year is probably going to be full of old shows for CBS
ReplyDeleteIt's safe.
ReplyDeleteIt's another procedural,right?Urghh!
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of current CBS dramas will end next year.
ReplyDeleteI think even 5 dramas is too much for CBS now, and Deadline said they are negotiating with Sony for Sneaky Pete to bundle with Battle Creek(wtf?,maybe it goes to summer?)
ReplyDeleteI think the same.. For a brand new schedule from CBS we'll have to wait one more year..
ReplyDeleteYou will be. And you will eithersuffer or exult through the upfronts. ;) :)
ReplyDeleteWell if Battle Creek is indeed renewed they will have 4 shows from this class which is pretty good. But I still cannot believe it.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's what is frustrating with CBS' audience. They do reject any deviance from the standard cop/FBI/investigator formula. Even law and medical shows have to add some sort of justice element to it to fall in line eventually.
ReplyDeleteViewers are so narrowly focused that all creativity is stifled out of the network and we are left with a whole slate of similar sounding shows.
Ik, it was my first procedural, I usually hate them but Scorpion is one my top shows now :)
ReplyDeleteIf its really renewed it goes to summer, but I would like to get it renewed just for Sneaky Pete.
ReplyDeleteBiggest shock if it's renewed.
ReplyDeleteI can't not even procedurals. I mean I can, but that really has to be something I really cna't work out.
ReplyDeleteDid LFE got picked up,Deadline changed the title of the news to
ReplyDelete‘Limitless’, ‘Rush Hour’, ‘Criminal Minds’ Spinoff, ‘Code’, ‘Life’ Among CBS Orders
Depending on promo I may need to give Angel from Hell a try... Love Jane and loved Maggie in Model Behavior (one of my faborite DCOMs)
ReplyDeleteCastle was my 1st and i LOVED it,still love it.So,i'll give this a pilot test run soon.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Joe Carnahan State of Affairs has been cancelled
ReplyDeleteLOL!Heigl!
ReplyDeleteFinally
ReplyDeleteHmmm it is a sweet show. It has some brilliant moments and than again some really poor ones, acting and rating wise.
ReplyDeleteI would recommen it to everyone but I would alert people to keep the expectations to a minimum. It isn't everyones favorite cookie. I had some storytelling and acting isuses but I overall enjoyed it.
Also Cristela seems pissed that ABC cancelled her show blaming the lack of promotion- she is writing a blog LOL
ReplyDeleteNot really sure, I even want to watch NBC shows. I never watch NBC I even dropped The Voice. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat means pilot will be my deciding factor,no more episodes is needed to make a decision.
ReplyDeleteLMAO
ReplyDeleteYeah I saw that on twitter she says we ll be shocked.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!Hahahaha.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clueless woman!
i can't wait to laugh
ReplyDeleteI mean, can't she just accept that the show was not good enough and people did not want to watch it?
ReplyDeleteHave you seen Psych? Maggie is effortless in it.
ReplyDeleteShe said also that she ll be staying from broadcast for awhile.
ReplyDeleteI just can't....Hahahaha!!
ReplyDeleteLMAO Cristela even compares her show to JTV saying CW natured it thats why its a hit
ReplyDeletePretty much. That's why I don't put so much blame on CBS. Maybe they should try at least 1 daring/highly original/creative show per year. If the audience isn't they for it....hopefully it gets some Emmy bait.
ReplyDeleteJTV is special TV show and it's awards are a proof
ReplyDeleteCristela was another average comedy with mostly embarrassing jokes
Citing: I am taking a long hiatus from the network. LONG. My choice
ReplyDeleteSeriously she needs to stop now. It's pathetic.
ReplyDeleteshe is writing a blog that will reveal and shock us
ReplyDelete(I can't LOL)
READ-No one is taking me in any shows!
ReplyDelete...Which will be super honest and raw
ReplyDeletePlease share that link when it's up.
ReplyDeleteI am sure she got multiple offers aready LOL
ReplyDeleteMulaney too
ReplyDeleteyup JTV is amazing
ReplyDeleteIt sure is.Gina is brilliant,so is the rest of the cast!
ReplyDeleteI will - I am sure we will get a good laugh
ReplyDeleteAlready been cancelled.
ReplyDeletemy only worry is that it seems to be one of the shows that could take a slump a la revenge
ReplyDeleteYes For Limitless!
ReplyDeleteIf it nabs another award next season,it'll be safe.Come on,we have nothing to worry about.JtV landed CW's 1st real award-they will try to milk this as long as possible :)
ReplyDeleteOh really? Missed it.
ReplyDeleteIt was cancelled long ago.
ReplyDeleteNo I haven't, not really into that type of show, but yeah she's a pretty good actress... I didn't watch back in the game last season but I know a lot of people liked her there too
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't make it a deal breaker there as every pilot is a bit of a pushover. They tried a bit to hard. Give it a 3-4 ep run with. I would say watch eps 1, 3, 2 and 4 in this order and than decide.
ReplyDeleteThe characters are quite likeable and if U can get pass the leads obnoxious moment U will certainly fall in love with them.
I cannot turn down your advice as i love you.4 episodes it is :)
ReplyDeletePass on Code Black, CM: Beyond Borders, but Limitless has promise...
ReplyDeleteI like Jennifer Carpenter, Hill Harper, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, and Evan Chambers... I mean Jake McDorman.
Kyle Bornheimer is in Angels from Hell?
Cancelled after 4 episodes I predict! XD
That man is a curse upon sitcoms... Why haven't the networks learned?
Rush Hour is a pass even with Bill Lawrence as a writer, but I may check out Life in Pieces.
The Following has been cancelled
ReplyDelete*Sending a high five to India*
ReplyDeleteHow are U handling staying awake? I'm about to fall asleep. I barely have a couple of minutes in me.
Thanks for the Greek reference! I always love when someone mentions the show, the most underrated teen show of all time.
ReplyDeleteConstanstine has been cancelled as well
ReplyDeleteNooooo. It was obviously coming but it is still damn sad, I love the show :/
ReplyDeleteSad, but this season is very weak (except for episode 10.That was epic
ReplyDeleteExpected, but still hurts
ReplyDeleteSad for the fans but it was obvious.
ReplyDeleteFRAK!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat means American Crime gets to keep the surprise renewal of the season award!
ReplyDeleteYes Constantine has been cancelled. Now those delusional fans can finally STFU...
ReplyDeleteIf you say so.
ReplyDelete*slinks away silently*
It is one of my all-time favorite :guilty pleasures" I think...
ReplyDeleteYes it can be silly and over-the-top, but the show was so fun and had such charm.
Not many shows ever have the combination of parts that Greek had!
