#CodeBlack? Nope. Next please.

Judging from the tears I'm crying, #CodeBlack had the most effective sizzle reel I've ever seen for a TV show #Upfronts2015

Did you guys do this for ABC's upfronts?
ReplyDeleteI don't believe they did
ReplyDeleteDo you guys know when they are releasing trailers?
ReplyDeleteNo. There wasn't really anything interesting with the ABC Upfronts other then the opening presentation video.
ReplyDeleteYes they did I don't have the link but they have it here
ReplyDeleteProbably some time tonight.
ReplyDeleteThey didn't as Paul gave an big press conference call and detailed everything remoetely important. And the press release was quite informative.
ReplyDeleteThat wasn't from the upfronts presentation. That was from Paul's press conference.
ReplyDeleteHope they say something abot Person of Interest's fate.
ReplyDeleteWell I didn't see it on the fall schedule (Limitless has it's spot), so I'm assuming they will announce that the 13 episodes are the final season and that it will air sometime midseason...but, ya. Some clarity would be good :)
ReplyDeleteWe want the promos !!!
ReplyDeleteIs there a way/place to watch the upfront presentations online later? Not just for CBS, but for any or all networks? Like is it recorded or anything?
ReplyDeleteWhere is the Supergirl trailer?
ReplyDeleteIt might be a huge longshot but I wonder if CBS is waiting to see how PoI performs on Netflix/WGN America before making a decision if season 5 is the end.
ReplyDeleteIf they want to end the show in season 5, wouldn't they have announced it?
Nice to hear some good response to SuperGIRL!
ReplyDeleteOF course in a room full of fans impressions can be skewed, but at least it's not negative! XD
I don't trust them. They played the same game with Mentalist and would never admit that it was the final season. They only said so in Dec before the final season premiered.
ReplyDeletePOI is on Netflix?
ReplyDelete...it's a room full of ad execs, media buyers, and press. Not exactly Comic-Con lol.
ReplyDeleteOf course it would be better to let everyone in on the status, but as long as the creative and production crew knows ahead of the start of filming I'm okay with not letting the public know right away I guess.
ReplyDeleteThat's dumb. Why not just announce it once and for all? They clearly did not have the confidence to give it a full season so why not just say it.
ReplyDeleteIt's meant to be coming to Netflix this fall.
ReplyDeleteOh sweet!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for Supergirl. Can't wait to see two new shows of Berlanti and Kreisberg next year. Now if they could have Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl all in the same universe..
ReplyDeleteTrue I know...
ReplyDeleteI guess I just meant in the past I know I personally have been moved by a room full of people's sentiment and then later had an entirely different opinion when I thought about it on my own.
I understand but then again why make public claims that episode order for S5 has not yet been decided; we have made no decision on final season?
ReplyDeleteGives them an out if there's a bunch of duds among the new stuff.
ReplyDeleteSo where is the trailer?!
ReplyDeleteThey won't release anything until after the presentation is over.
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
ReplyDeleteI guess there is probably a lot of pressure to make some statement... and it is possible they have not made any definitive decision yet.... Still. I personally would prefer no misinformation even if it meant waiting longer for news.
If the SG trailer is at least half as amazing as the Flash was a year ago it's top notch.
ReplyDeleteIt is the usual network crap. Compare that to Justified, where the final season was announced before they even began to film season 6 let alone started to air the season.
ReplyDeleteGlad Limitless was received well :)
ReplyDeleteFrom the critics' tweets it seems that first half of trailer was all about her office and romance. Second part of the trailer was much better.
ReplyDeleteGlad that Bradley Cooper is joining the Limitless cast and reprising his film role! I was surprised that originally it was said he would not, but maybe he was trying to be politically correct!
ReplyDelete#CodeBlack trailer was pretty dang strong. Looks like a very good medical drama. #CBSUpfront
ReplyDeleteCan't wait
Now show us the damn trailers!
ReplyDeleteI saw some good buzz for Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant.
ReplyDeleteThrew me a second seeing Stephen Colbert's name in one of these tweets, but then I was like, "Oh, right, he's joining the network." :p. Be interesting to see what all they have to say about him taking over Letterman's show.
ReplyDeleteOff now for some time but I leave with hope that something definite about POI is announced.
ReplyDeleteWell, he's a busy dude, I wouldn't have blamed him if his schedule didn't permit it at all, but it's cool he's making the time.
ReplyDeleteSeasons 1-3 are on the UK Netflix while S3 has LITTERALLY just started on Channel 5 lol. Hope they do the same thing for S4/S5, there schedule for the show is HORRID!
ReplyDeleteI hate people always calling out Smallville, c'mon Smalville was supposed to be Clark's teenage years.
ReplyDeleteWth? They're actually trying to kill Gotham?
ReplyDeleteTrue, but I assumed he/CBS wanted [him] to, otherwise I think they would have rebooted it instead of spinning it off. I figured he at least would want to guest star, so I think he didn't announce any acting involvement out of respect and to give JM and JC the spotlight. (The say he actually appears in the pilot)...
ReplyDeleteHuh?
ReplyDeleteWow!! They are coming after Gotham. I dropped the show but this is still hilarious.
ReplyDelete*shrug* what's the big deal?
ReplyDeleteI think every network wants their show to beat the direct competition...
ReplyDeleteHer comments seem appropriate to me.. even if the competition happens to come from the same comic universe....
Surely DC will have to something to say about that.
ReplyDeleteI don't know but it gives a feeling of aggressive competition. I am enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteThey won't.
ReplyDeleteso unofficial pre batman vs supergirl on tv
ReplyDeleteSo Person of Interest confirmed for mid-season then. Something at least!
ReplyDeleteThat has been my biggest question. What does DC feel about this? Or have they also given up on Gotham?
ReplyDeleteBoth DC shows...it makes no sense.
ReplyDeleteDC has nothing to do with it at this point. A CBS exec made a comment about a CBS show vs. a FOX show.
ReplyDelete"#Supergirl is everything you always wanted #Smallville to be" we shall see... btw SV did have it's issues, but I can honestly say I absolutely loved Kara. LV's portrayal is the reason I looked up Supergirl in the first place and watched other incarnations. Don't mess it up, please.
ReplyDeleteOfc DC is involved, they're both DC shows, CBS competing against FOX does make sense, but not DC against DC
ReplyDeleteBut DC has no rights as far as how they're scheduled.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they feel just fine. They now have five shows on the air. Ka-ching!
ReplyDeletePersonally I think she was making a joke foremost anyway....
ReplyDeleteso the CSI finale is basically a tv movie part of season 15?
ReplyDeleteWhy cant they just come out & admit it is the final season of POI ? there's no other reason for 13 episodes & having it mid season. I hope the writters treat is as the final season
ReplyDeleteI get that. OTOH, nothing wrong in being aggressively competitive.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter, it's not going to earn CBS any brownie points, and if they can pull characters from Arrow I'm sure there's something they could do.
ReplyDeleteAnother worry...
ReplyDeleteEven if they go in with a 13 episode order knowing it's a final season, who is to say an early cancellation will not cause CBS to air POI earlier than planned and order more episodes... That could mess with continuity or a seasonal arc plan!
Alright looks like POI is def a midseason show. Even though I think this is probably the end, which if done right, I can live with, in theory just to cut down costs, perhaps they will just scale it down into smaller 13 episode seasons and that is why they won't announce that it is the final season yet...
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind that at all. Gives a slim chance of another shortened season.
ReplyDeleteShe made a joke, I think you're reading too much into it. But I'll agree to disagree.
ReplyDeleteTrailers available here guys :) -- http://www.ew.com/article/2015/05/13/cbs-fall-trailers
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't really matter if it's a joke though, they're still up against each other.
ReplyDeleteIm very excited for Supergil!!
ReplyDeleteOh sorry must have gotten confused
ReplyDeleteim gonna log off before i say something very nasty about cbs in regards to their handling of person of interest.
ReplyDeleteFive shows and only one of them is good.
ReplyDeleteCode Black and MS first two drama casualties next season. POI as 13-episodes going forward could work well. Run dtraight through with a season-specific arc. CBS has a lot of trouble spots Elementary, MS, H50, NO, which will rose/fall on mothership's ratings, Cyber banished to Sunday 10 after TGW, which is a poor lead in with a worse lead-in. CBS better hope that Supergirl and Limitless hit the jackpot or it's going to be more like the past three weeks of low 1s across the board.
ReplyDeleteCode Black was surprisingly disappointing.Angel From Hell needs to be sent straight to hell.
ReplyDeleteLooking cautiously to Supergirl.
ReplyDeleteNothing to be sorry for. ^^
