Are you guys ready for the Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 2 finale? Because let me tell you, I think you might like it…
And here to tide you over, as promised, some teasers from the season’s final episode, “Johnny and Dora.”
- Someone makes a surprising decision regarding their employment at the Nine-Nine -- and it may not be your first guess.
- Amy’s “no cops” dating policy comes up again.
- Someone is not above stealing a locked filing cabinet when the occasion calls for it.
- Scully loses a beloved friend.
- All of Boyle’s Rosa-obsessing last year may have paid off, for the both of them.
- There’s a secret meeting in the interrogation room.
- Actions are taken in order to ensure undercover identities.
- Holt is not as much of a robot as you think, and it’s heartbreaking to find out.
- Rosa and Ron Swanson (Parks and Recreation) seem to have similar feelings regarding birthdays and their corresponding parties -- not into them.
- Someone makes an honest admission.
- Boyle’s not great at keeping secrets. Or is he?...
- The final scene of the episode is going to keep you on the edge of your seats until next September.

1 So despite Holt being transferred to public relations it may be someone else? Maybe Gina follows him as his secretary but I feel like if it's Jake or Amy because of whatever happens undercover. Or maybe Terry really does go with the security gig. Or none of the above?
ReplyDelete2 Maybe Jake mentions it to Rosa or Charles as he's still floundering and in love with her and asks their advice. Or she brings it up offhand to someone else?
3 Gina. Maybe Rosa?
4 I would say Hitchcock but I feel like it'll be an animal friend and he just hyperbolizes. Plus Scully and Hitchcock are like the Jerry/Gary/Larry of B99.
5 Do they go undercover, too?
6 This is anyone's guess. Jake is probably involved.
7 Aw man this is probably the enthusiastic slam him against a tree kiss. I am so digging it and I'd hoped it was Amy and Jake, not Johnny and Dora. Or maybe there's a second kiss somewhere. We're seeing the real one and there's a previous one earlier in the ep? Wishful thinking, maybe.
8 Oh no! Are we gonna get some feels turned on. The Office started doing this. I hope it's not anything serious like Kevin being sick or something. Or him saying goodbye to the squad before going to public relations?
9 I'm imagining Rosa going on a tirade popping balloons and throwing cakes out windows. "NO. BIRTHDAYS."
10 Please be Amy re: her feelings to Jake. Cause Jake's already done it. Unless he's bringing it back up one more time to see if she can be willing to break the rules of "no cops".
11 He usually isn't. But maybe this one time he is?
12 If it is Jake and Amy anything I will die. What if they pulled what Gina and Boyle had but with them. Minus the horrified screaming. Like the scene or two before making us think it isn't going to happen. Then it does. Again, really wishful thinking.
I'm probably wrong on a lot of these but it's fun to guess! 3 more days!

ReplyDeleteI want Amy to be the one who admits something too! And I want that honest admission to be about Jake... it'd be a really nice parallel to season 1 finale.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree that the 'actions taken to ensure undercover identities' it's very likely the kiss :( I'm hoping for a real, not-undercover kiss before the episode ends too!
My guesses:
ReplyDeletea) If there are other job changes possibly taking place besides Captain Holt, perhaps it is Gina, who wants to keep being Holt's personal assistant. Or Rosa, who wants to support Holt (she is dating his relative, Marcus!) and follow him. Or (a funny guess, not a real option, even on a comedy like B99) Jake decides that since Amy does not date cops, he is gonna make a career change...
b) No idea if the “no cops” dating policy comes up because of the undercover op or outside it...
c) Holt would be surprising guess for the filing cabinet theft...
d) Which pet did Scully have - a dog, a cat, a turtle?
e) No idea what to make of the "Boyle’s Rosa-obsessing" teaser
f) The secret meeting coule be Captain Holt/anyone from the 99th, or the whole team meeting to plan how to get Holt back, or...something else. Like everyone planning Rosa's birthday?
g) So I guess the scene by the tree from the promo is Amy noticing someone, who thinks she & Jake are Dora & Johnny, and that is why the moment initially takes place. (My guess: she take the "action" for the undercover op, but it leads to something else. There has been just too much hype about Jake & Amy, and I think there is more than the "pretend parts"
h) I wonder if it is tears or a smile we will see. Or anger?
i) Well, I guess Rosa and Ron Swanson think the same about birthdays as me. But no idea what to think of the teaser otherwise...
j) Since there is so much Jake/Amy related stuff happening in the finale, I am guessing it is Amy, who is gonna be honest (tell Boyle something?)
k) Wonder if Amy has also told Boyle that she likes Jake? But really, no idea whose secret Boyle has kept/is keeping...or not keeping...
l) I wonder if the final scene is Captain Holt or Jake/Amy related. This could be either..or something else. But however the Captain thing ends in s2, I really hope he will be back as Captain (not as a guest at the 99th) soon in s3. But I am leaning towards the end scene being Amy confessing to someone or Jake that she "wants there to be something between them..in romantic stylez").
Even though I have read the spoilers, I still have no idea what to expect really, and I believe I will be wondering til the new season starts how the cliffhanger(s) will be resolved.
I shall not be taking any guesses, but thanks for teases either way!
