"The Beast of Wall Street" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DV) (HDTV)
VINCENT HAS WEDDING BELLS IN MIND - With the happy couple seeming to be enjoying an ordinary life, Vincent (Jay Ryan) thinks the timing might finally be right to pop the question until Cat (Kristin Kreuk) stumbles on an extraordinary case with the FBI involving somebody who goes on a superhuman rampage. Jeff Renfroe directed the episode written by Brad Kern (301).

Gosh it's been a year! finally!
ReplyDeleteCW really didn't work much on their promotion. I know they aren't expecting to much but still I barely noticed any new promos and stuff.
ReplyDeleteAlso the Besties here aren't that "obsessed" anymore. Usually Jay and Kristen would be part and win in all the polls.

ReplyDeleteyeah we fans dont bother as much with spoilertv polls anymore, still obssessed with the show though lol
ReplyDeleteAham! I just noticed. ^^
ReplyDeletePlease Brad Kern, don't mess up the writing this year! The show almost got cancelled because of mostly your writing.I am looking forward to this season and see how different it is from season 2.I did not care for most of the episodes of Season 2.
ReplyDeleteWe got one cast interview today with one of the actors regarding Tess and JT.

Yeah you know how bad it was that when he almost destroyed Vincent's character that i ACTUALLY shipped Gabe with Catherine.
ReplyDeleteSo JT's not okay with just being alive he wants to find out HOW he's alive, interesting. Poor Vincent, he's spent almopst 2 decades trying to find a normal life but he's always being pushed to being more than normal. I can't wait for it to come back!!!!! But i need more promos and also i need sneak peeks, 2 minute sneak peeks and promos.
ReplyDeleteThe future of BATB is being dictated entirely by viewers from outside the states. The program was removed from the U.S. regular season schedule because of low ratings. It's reasonable to assume that BATB is now a summer program because the CW's domestic affiliates wouldn't have paid much, if anything, to broadcast it during the regular season. BATB's biggest fan base is in Europe and that's the reason it's still in production. I remember reading that the first season was presold there for more than enough to cover its production costs and that it continues to earn substantial licensing revenue there and in other foreign countries.
ReplyDeleteIn retrospect, it's now clear that BATB was never close to getting cancelled. That's because of its strong foreign viewer base. BATB's ratings crashed in the states during the last four episodes of its first season. As a result, the CW brought in a new showrunner to try and resuscitate the show. That explains the infamous detour in which Catherine starts dating Gabe after the VinCat break up. While this apparently outraged the VinCat shippers, it didn't matter. At least in the states. That's because too many former domestic viewers never tuned in for the second season. Instead, it is the strong foreign viewer numbers and corresponding licensing revenue that's keeping the show going. So, I don't believe that domestic viewer opinion will any longer have a significant influence on the direction of BATB's storyline.
ReplyDeleteOmg Vincent to save the day can't wait miss them
ReplyDeleteyes i know lol, i follow the show very closely. we have only now started getting stuff, but what we wont get i dont think is anything major to attract more vieweers like a tv interview i dont care about non promotion anymore, just saying
