Dig!!! LoL!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to watch the episode.
So why is Felicity there exactly? Involved in what is clearly an extremely dangerous situation at the heart of the deadliest organization in the world? What does she actually bring to the table except for the need to protected by one of the others?
ReplyDeleteShe took out Slade Wilson and pistol whipped her douchey ex-boyfriend; girl can handle herself. It does bother me that nobody (looking at you Diggle) has ever bothered to teach her how to at least shoot a gun. All women should know how to shoot. That's not superhero stuff, it's just common sense.
ReplyDeleteDigg started to train her a bit, but just like how Laurel forgot she actually had fighting skills and was able to handle a freaking shotgun, A LOT of Season 1 was scrapped.
ReplyDeleteYeah cuz taking on an army of the world's deadliest ninjas is the same thing. But then again Mary Sues can do a lot.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have noticed that.
ReplyDeleteThat scene will be bullshit... There are only 4 "good" character that can take on League Members and those are Oliver, Malcolm, Nyssa and Maseo(Maybe Katana, idk). The rest(Digg, Laurel, Roy, Ray and Thea) can do nothing against them.
ReplyDeleteSo aside from Malcolm(and maybe Katana), the rest needs to be protected as much as her. Or what? Now all of the sudden Digg and Laurel are super skilled?
They all went there to die and as a last resort on a suicide mission. There's no point in her staying, especially if they think that she could bring Oliver back(wich Tatsu will tell her).
Yes. I call BS on that too, but this show has never been exactly consistent in its logic.
ReplyDeleteThen if you don't have a problem with Digg and Laurel being there, i don't see the problem with Felicity... wich tells me you're biased.
ReplyDeleteYes, Felicity being there is actually reckless and stupid, but so is Laurel being there... And Digg too, since he only has a M4...
Felicity hiding under a rock will have the same productivity as to Laurel or Digg trying to fight the League. Actually, Felicity hiding under a rock will make her last more than Laurel trying to fight the 3 members she was engaging on the promo xD
It's a tv show. They need to do action sequences so it's obvious that Digg and Laurel will beat some members. You will have to disconnect from reality a bit. So if you disconnect for that, it's unfair to say "Felicity needs to be protected", as if the others could do something on that situation.
It makes you a hypocrite to only say a fraction of the scene is BS when it's the whole scene.
Again, i don't see why only Felicity is the problem there...
I imagine she'll do something techy to save their asses at some point.
ReplyDeleteWhat does Laurel bring to the table? Last week she needed Nyssa's help to defeat a common street criminal. Why don't all of them have guns? Seems like it'd be the way to go to defeat the LoA who by rights should be better fighters than any of them, save Malcolm.
The answer is: because plot.
Like i said on the promo: This scene will be good to look at but really stupid plot-wise, since we will see Digg and Laurel and Ray(who will appear at some point) fighting League of Assassin's members like if they were kids on a garden.
ReplyDeleteAnother forced stunt sequence forced into the storyline that will make no sense.
First of all I never said that I don't have a problem with Digg or Laurel being there. For the record I think its all absurd.
ReplyDeleteFocusing on the weakest member of the group as I have doesn't act as an approval of the other members involvement. I've simply stated that her presence doesn't make sense. The absence of a negative statement for Dig and Laurel does not equal a positive. There is no hypocrisy there. You should look up the meaning before you throw it around.
As for your accusation of bias: nothing of the kind. Again I only stated that she more than the rest clearly doesn't belong there. Its actually you that has gone to the effort of building an argument to support her presence on the basis that the others shouldn't be there either so therefore Felicity's presence is therefore acceptable because its all unacceptable. That's bias. You should look that up too.
I never said that. You changed your speech once i replied to you, saying you agreed xD
ReplyDeleteI was the first to say that the whole scene doesn't makes sense, like i said on the promo for the episode the week before. I'm not biased, i clearly wrote that Felicity being there is reckless, stupid and cliché. You said she doesn't bring anything to the table there and called her a Mary Sue. I pointed out Laurel and Digg don't either.
Meanwhile, you took it on one character in two comments. So, yeah, my first instinct is to call that hypocricy and you being biased.
If you don't want me or others to think that, make a clear statement. It's like me saying Digg at the fight in 3x12 was stupid when the whole group was(because lots of people had guns but nobody used them).
So me actually telling what's wrong with the scene is me being biased? I'm not making up an argument. The argument is valid.
You say one thing. I reply. You say another thing. Well, it's not my fault... From your two comments looks like you only have a problem with Felicity... (I literally used the same argument to defend Laurel from getting bashed. If a whole scene doesn't make sense, you shouldn't pick on one character. If you're not trying, then in the future explaine better)
Well this makes me sad b/c we all know they get captured in 5 Seconds. Smh
ReplyDeleteWell, it will be good to watch That's for sure... If it was for me, i wouldn't make them fight, tbh.
ReplyDeleteIn Season 2 the League was more badass. They dumbed down their power...
You should base accusations of bias and hypocrisy on actual examples of bias and hypocrisy: not on instincts. My comments were pretty straight forward. That being the case, I am not responsible for everyone's comprehension of the English language. Next time you might want read a comment more than once to understand it a little better before choosing to respond to other people's comments with personal accusations. This English lesson is free. The life lesson has cost you some credibility.
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm not excited about this episode at all. I'm only looking forward to seeing Roy and Thea Reunite and Roy in general.
ReplyDeleteJajajaja Dude! I read what you wrote. You complained for "C" twice, so i must have a crystal ball to know what you don't write?
ReplyDeleteIt's not on instincts, it's based on what you wrote(wich i wasn't the only one who understood that, btw).
I told you already, if it bothers you then write a full text next time: The problem here is "A, B and C". In your messenges you clearly state only having issues with "C", just one of the factors.
I pointed out that "A" and "B" have problems also. You said you agreed, wich prompted me to ask then why picking just "C".
You're comments weren't straigh forward, at all! LOL You, instead of realizing that your first two messenges don't say what you wanted, made up a comment saying that if you don't say something it doesn't mean you don't have the same problem. Fair enough, that's ok. But pardon me to think what i said...
It's not my fault... i only know what you write! Agree to disagree, then! At least now i know
Yeah, you just have to go with it, because it doesn't make any sense. Why does the writers feel the need to cram more characters that needed, i don't know: I don't know why Digg, Felicity, Laurel and Ray pretend by going to NP. Felicity will try to pull Oliver back to normal? not a fan of that cliché storyline.
ReplyDeleteMalcolm would suffice on that story. If you have to not use some characters on an episode to make it better, then don't. They had no problem with no using Laurel for whole episodes, so why the urge to cram everybody if not needed?
I just want to see if Oliver is faking, the cool fights(even if they don't make sense) and, like you said, Roy again.
Because heart is a powerful ability in the superhero genre.
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm cool with not all women knowing how to kill someone.
ReplyDeleteI like having "normal" people on shows like these. If there's only costume heroes then the show would look like a halloween party.
ReplyDeleteThere's very little I can find joy in with this episode. Based on the promo. (The US promo only). The only thing that's getting me through this is Roy's appearance. I've not been happy with the show in weeks. In fact, I won't be happy until Oliver returns to me.
ReplyDeleteMerlyn getting to be badass, I'm in (not watching the episode live tho)
ReplyDeleteLol, agreed.
ReplyDeleteThat could be good. I'm still thinking he's the only character that should be on Nanda Parbat, but that's just me...
ReplyDeleteSo what do you think Mac. Is Malcolm good or bad?
I don't think he's the only one to be on this mission but I'm certain that Felicity and Laurel are misplaced here.
ReplyDeleteI want him to be bad but I don't think he can go back to being bad unless this was all just one giant con on his account.
So far I think he's an anti-anti-anti hero...if that makes any sense. Woud prefer him as a villain though
Ray will also join the party xD Idk, Digg is good, but LoA good? He could fight one, but against two he's already useless. Nope. Instead of having one men trying to infiltrate they go with a group of 6 people in plain daylight? They dumbed down the League too much this Season.
ReplyDeleteI like Malcom, so i would love for him to become a villain again, but just a recurring guest star that would appear only if needed. I hate how they cramed him just because they had to use him.
Him appearing in 5 episodes with a cool purpose would be better. Maybe he takes Ra's place?
Aw, come on now. #bangbang
ReplyDeleteYeah, I mean, the entire thing makes no sense. Felicity being there is the least of their worries. They couldn't take out just a few of them last week and now they're gonna try to take on the entire league? Ray's super suit ain't that good. Something tells me Oliver is luring them all there to protect them in case he fails to save Starling City. Not really sure though. I guess we'll see soon enough!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling we're going to get back to the core of the show next season. More levity. If Damien Darhk really is Felicity's father, then oh sweet H.I.V.E. That would mean Felicity's father had Diggle's brother killed.
ReplyDeleteFrom the looks of it they are completely disintegrating Oliver and Diggle’s relationship. Now if they butcher Diggle and Felicity too I will be pissed.
ReplyDeleteRoy CAN take on the League, Felicity shouldn't be ANYWHERE there, i'll say it again, only FIGHTERS should be there and Felicity Smoak is NOT a fighter
ReplyDeletewhen did Arrow EVER have levity? LOL
ReplyDeleteHa! There's been a little bit. Season 2ish levity a la Felicity.
ReplyDeleteOliver himself said to Roy that he couldn't... Felicity shueldn't be there, yes, i agree. Also the title of "fighter" is pointless when you have Laurel there who should reach the same outcome as Felicity if both engage on a fight with the LoA. Same for Ray. Same for Digg if it's not 1 on 1.
